Amazing Italian restaurant in Rio! The food was delicious and the service couldn’t have been better. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I absolutely loved the risotto. Even though I’m just visiting, I’ll definitely come back before I leave!

If you’re looking for Italian that satisfies you to the core, this is it. The rib eye steak is excellent (for steaks that are not dry-aged) as was the carbonara and puttanesca. The pasta was both homey yet full of umami. The desserts tasted sophisticated but a bit sweet.

The food is just not the best. Unfortunately. The pasta had way to much meat which sounds weird and hard to achieve but this ratio was way off. The beer selection is poor. The premises are quite nice and there is a lot of staff wandering around. Very nice people. The sauce is not authentic italian and the pasta was a bit overcooked. I dont know if the goal is to be authentic or if the ambition is to create fusion italian food. Either way, i was not impressed.

Decent spot for Italian fare, though nothing remarkable - the seafood ravioli is good, especially the shrimp, and the eggplant parm is a bit smoky but big portion. Service is excellent, the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Nice views of the beach from the restaurant.

We stayed at the now Miramar Windsor for a few days. In a few words it is an absolute jewel in the heart of Copacabana. The views, our room, the food and specially the staff who was always welcoming, so genuine and ever so helpful. Daniela and her team at the reception, as well as the porters, always with a smile and an attentive candour. Oh, I didn't forget the bar staff on the top floor as well as the superb service in restaurant/breakfast room! Great experience one gets from this 5 Stars hotel! On an 8 day visit to Rio and staying at the Miramar so having breakfast in the hotel. The Alloro is exceptional in every way. There's a huge range of breakfast options, the food is fresh and tasty but the main this is the staff who make this a daily pleasure, thank you!

Excellent Italian Restaurant with great menu options and attentive staff. We stayed at the Miramar Hotel so this restaurant was very convenient for us.

I was in town for business and this restaurant was recommended to us. The service was very attentive. We had multiple people fill our waters and ask we needed anything. The menu had a variety of items, we ordered a few appetizers. All were amazing! And the food was even better. The restaurant was clean. If back in town again, I would go.

Food was good. But service was slow. Main course was served warm. I believe they just forgot about our table of four. As the restaurant was getting busy. Lovely restaurant and would like to give it another chance.

This is an amazing Italian restaurant located at the Miramar by Windsor Hotel. We had dinner here every night. We got our Brazilian food fix outside the hotel so after a day of sightseeinging it was nice to enjoy some Italian food at a fine restaurant. The service here is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful with the menu. The menu has great variety from steak, seafood, and pasta. You cant go wrong here, no matter what you order. Everything tastes wonderful. Surprisingly for dessert they offer a chocolate souffle. Be sure to order it with your meal because it takes some time to prepare. It is absolutely delicious and a must try item on their menu. They also have an very nice wine selection. I would suggest the Chilean sauvignon blanc.
