Where to Find Miami’s Most Unique Pizzas | Eater Miami

"This tidy, reliable restaurant has garnered a steadfast, loyal following with its on-point Italian dishes, and pizza is no exception. For an elevated pie, try the Foie Gras Pizza. The thin-crust pizza has pan-seared foie gras, fig marmalade, and a five-year, barrel-aged balsamic vinegar drizzle." - Alona Martinez

A unique amazing dining experience tucked away in downtown Miami. This wonderfully cozy bistro catapults you to the Mediterranean from the moment you arrive! Take time to savor the menu then delve right into the incredible selection of created from scratch options. This was my first time dining here but will not be last! Each dish delicately prepared left me with such respect, delight and yearning for more! The service was impeccable! The care and kindness, like we were in a lovely private home garden! With so many choices in Miami, please put this one at the top of your list! Thank you Alloy for a beautiful evening!!

We didn’t know what to expect from this hidden gem. It had a charming patio which is where we sat. The service was superb. The food ingredients were unique. The inclusion of frozen raspberries was an incredibly unlikely addition that complemented the flavour profile beautifully. Also, any chef that can work fois gras into a pasta dish and make it work, deserves credit. All the dishes we had were unique, flavourful and well presented. The dessert was also special in its presentation and delicious. I highly recommend the dishes we had as photographed on this review.

One word: Amazing! This place is a hidden gem in downtown! The ambiance, the food, the quality and the service are worth more than five starts 🤩 everything was delicious! All the dishes were unique, I can’t wait to go back and try more on the menu!! If you are looking for amazing food, this should be next in your list!

The service was fantastic. Cute little outdoor patio area (covered). The food was delicious. I had the truffle risotto and it was 🔥🔥🔥. The deserts left a little to be desired. Had the cheesecake, panacota, and the chocolate. The panacota was soupy, and the cheesecake was too fluffy and lacked that cheesecake consistency. Overall, a great experience.

Miami’s best kept Italian fusion secret! This place is a hidden pearl in a sea filled with so many duds … it’s a pearl gem of a place ! I had the pleasure of visiting and experiencing this beautiful little beautiful restaurant this evening and I was incredibly amazed by the authenticity. This hidden place was incredible the vibe and the atmosphere is so romantic. I would take anyone on a first second or hundredth date to this spot. It is very beautiful the lighting decor and everything screams unique and romantic. The mini lights on every table is so cute and the seating outside which is where most of the guest seat is breathtaking with the fresh breeze…Superbe. Service : A1! We had amazing service from Marco. He was super attentive to everything we did! If we had half our glass filled,he would direct the waitress to come refill our glasses. They sat us down very quickly let us pick which table we wanted. It’s a beautiful place and we enjoyed our time spent coming here on a romantic dinner date The food: was absolutely extraordinarily perfect just wished there was more on the plate. We had a nice red wine paired with Lamb my favourite was the : roasted cauliflower. It was so delicious. I decided without hesitation to order a second order. I loved the spinach gazpacho and feta mousse with the roasted Cauli. It paired beautifully together. It was cooked to perfection shoutout to the chef juste delicious wow Then we had the chineese eggplant. It was delicious also paired with some gazpacho spinach ricotta mousse unfortunately it was not enough we wished there was more we devoured the dish in 2 minutes. We shared the lamb chops dish extremely tender fall off the bone and very well seasoned with lots of flavour the cook was perfection again! We also had some duck prosciutto it was amazing but again portions were limited wish it was thicker cuts of the amazing prosciutto and the lamb chops were minute as well. But the cook is/was: Perfection ! Every single bite we took kept us wanting more and more it was irresistible. The plates were all cleaned up in minutes! For dessert, we had coffee to settle all what we devoured down .. maybe we will try the desserts on our next trip definitely count us in! we will be back here for sure ! 10000% recommend Cheers!

Phenomenal! Every single dish was cooked amazingly and was flavorful. The staff was on top of everything, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Highly recommend the octopus, the ravioli with pistachio dough, and the cheesecake! A must try restaurant.

Google
Food and service were incredible! I had the chef special, the burratta, the Truffle risotto, and the ceviche. All phenomenal. The Truffle Risotto was a little on the oiler side but cooked to perfection. We also had the affogato and the teramisu. Both were delicious, but the affogato was phenomenal.

Google
What a fantastic place! The staff is extremely friendly, the food delicious and a great atmosphere. Can recommend this place highly. For me the cauliflower had a bit too much cream and too little cauliflower and the stuffing of the Ravioli was not that intense. The bread was a bit too salty but all really minor. Overall, can highly recommend this place for a date night ans dinner with friends or family. Also, just wanted to reiterate how friendly and helpful the staff was

Yelp
This place is the bomb. Everything was perfect. The duck prosciutto was out of this world and so were the scallops. The charred broccoli had some kind of foamy sauce that was ridiculously good. I had the daily special which was egg noodles with a brothy tomato confit sauce and fresh seafood. Chef's kiss. 10 stars. Would go back for my next meal if that was a practical option. I was blown away with how good everything was. It's a truly special place.

Yelp
Alloy Bistro is a wonderful restaurant. We have come here a few times now, and it is definitely worth the drive from kendall. The first thing I will tell you is that it is on the expensive side but not crazy expensive. Everything we have tried here has been delicious, and I mean everything! The restaurant is charming, and the outdoor seating is very appealing. Dishes that stand out for me: - the burrata - raviolo - truffle pasta - pappardelle Always listen to their daily specials... usually incredibly delicious. Their wine list is not big, but it is sure to have nice wines for every palate and budget.

Yelp
One of my favorite hidden backyard type of Italian bistros in downtown Miami. Service was fast and attentive. Everything was amazing with the dishes. Even just a side of simple tomato salad was delicious. Highly recommended for a date night or friends gatherings. Both indoor and outdoor sittings.

Yelp
I regret to say that my recent visit to Alloy Bistro was a profound disappointment. As someone who consistently leaves positive or even glowing reviews, I cannot in good conscience overlook the misstep that occurred during my meal. Upon alerting the staff to the presence of a bug in our meal (photos attached) instead of a sincere apology or an attempt to rectify the situation, we were met with accusations. To our astonishment, the management had the audacity to insinuate that we had planted the insect ourselves, as if we would sabotage our own dining experience for what can only be described as sheer absurdity. Thankfully, as a food blogger, I had snapped some pre-meal photos, providing clear evidence that the bug was indeed a kitchen mishap. Despite this, the staff persisted in their accusations, which felt incredibly disrespectful. To make matters worse, rather than trying to make things right, they kept sending more food to our table - despite us making it abundantly clear that we weren't interested. It felt like they were more focused on covering up the mistake than addressing it. So, while I usually enjoy singing praises to all of the restaurants I visit, this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. Their lack of accountability and dismissive attitude toward customers is something I can't overlook. I hope they take this feedback seriously and work to improve their service.

Yelp
OMG WHERE TO START! This is a cute hidden gem & must try! Miami is very known for insta famous spots with bad service & food BUT NOT HERE! Service, ambiance & food is all amazing! Met the owner & I literally don't have one bad thing to say! Best BRANZINO ever! *Chefs kiss & it was de boned my husband loved my plate so much he ordered another BRANZINO! We also got the salmon Carpaccio & Lamb chops! He has a great selection of wines & best spritzer! If you have questions the owner is very friendly & there to ask you! Yelp
Amazing little hidden gem in the center of downtown nestled between some buildings. For a second you feel like you're somewhere in Europe and then that Miami heat/humidity hits you after that first sip of wine and you remember you're in Miami. Don't let the deter you, Alloy is a great Italian Restaurant with a great romantic ambiance and excellent service. The portions are moderate, uniquely presented and full of flavor. Every item we order was absolutely delicious. It's been a long time since I've had good Italian food. We ordered the following items: Octopus Calamarata Lobster Gnocchi Pesto Taglionini Lobster and some Pineapple dessert I thought the Pineapple dessert was such an wonderful and lite dessert that should have been highlighted because of its uniqueness compared to the regular Italian desserts that are usually suggested. I'm looking forward to going back and trying other item on the menu. If you are looking for amazing food fresh tasting Italian food give Alloy a try. Thank you Marco for your excellent service, very much appreciated.

Yelp
A casual vibe Italian bistro and wine bar located inside a row of shopping blocks. Very Mediterranean feel of décor with white and blue exterior and simplistic desks and chairs. Came in when they open at 12 pm, there appeared to be only one lady hostess/waitress managing the whole restaurant. There also appeared to be a male host later. Wondering if there would be more staff in later hours. Drink: -"Tunella" Pinot Grigio white wine recommended by the hostess. A bit on the citrusy side for my taste, but went well with the bread and the seafood dishes. Food: -House bread/pastry. Looked like a piece of charred pizza pastry, but don't be fooled by the appearance. Crispy, lightly salted, delightful wheat flour taste, soaked in subtle olive oil and rosemary flavor. I thought about ordering the home made pasta dishes, but I found this would be quite sufficient for my carb needs. -Grilled shrimps. Prawn body temperature was spot on, a bit resistant to the knife, bouncy in my mouth, slightly briny, add a bit of lemon juice and you can taste the freshness. Prawn heads were grilled a bit over, but this was to ensure that what remained inside the head would be cooked thoroughly. That said, I'd probably prefer to have the heads grilled separately so I can enjoy crispy prawn heads as well. Could also use a bit more seasoning. -Butterfly branzino. I cook branzino at home but I could not match the quality of this dish. Slightly charred skin, perfect steamy and juicy texture inside, seasoning was better than the shrimp as well. Dessert: -Macchiato coffee. Nice coffee. Overall: 4-4.5 stars. Loved the branzino and the bread. Prawns have good ingredients but could use a bit more delicate techniques.

Yelp
The fact that this restaurant was tucked away in an alley in downtown gave you the opportunity to feel as if you were transported to Europe. The string of lights across the dining tables, along with the white rooftops and blue awnings gave it a romantic, european vibe- althought the metromover brought you back to Disney but thats besides the point. The service was nice, they have a decent Italian wine selection, and overall the food was good. The burrata eggplant was a very tasty way to kickoff our meal. I thought I would miss the thicker burrata texture, but this creamed alternative hit the spot! For our main courses, we tried the Black Tagliatelle Pasta and the Raviolo Carciofo. The tagliatelle was cooked al dente and came with mushrooms, which I love, but it was a bit too oily for my liking. The Raviolo was tasty, but nothing out of this world. Overall, I would give the place another shot to try some of the fish entrees, as those looked promising.

Yelp
Update (2/25): The business owner replied to my original review below doubling down on his accusation that I planted a bug on my plate, which is quite remarkable. I kindly encourage him to look at the picture I posted, which was taken before the meal by a food blogger I was dining with, where you can clearly see the bug there directly after being served. I also encourage him to consider the possibility that it was difficult to discern a green stinkbug amidst a sea of similarly colored fennel in a dimly lit setting, and that it was not until later in my meal when the large legs and shell of the bug contrast against the white plate that I was able to notice that there had been a bug marinating in my meal the entire time. Original Review (2/25): Food was generally OK, and ambience was nice, but frankly was stunned at how inconsiderate and disrespectful management was, not to mention bugs in my food. On one of the last bites of my meal I found a very large bug - pointed it out to the waitress (who was very nice), who then showed the manager. The manager said she personally inspected the meal beforehand and that I was lying, and went so far as to actually accuse me of planting the bug. One of the individuals I was with had happened to take a picture of the meal beforehand and sure enough if you zoom in (pictures attached), there it is - a large, rather healthy looking green stinkbug, legs sticking out, resting alongside the fennel after likely enjoying its last meal minutes ago on my plate in the kitchen. Had the manager simply apologized I would've moved on and not thought much of it, but the fact she and her co-manager were not conciliatory, questioned my integrity, and only took $26 off a $400+ meal assures I will never be coming back, and will be sure to tell everyone I know in Miami the same. In the meantime I'll look for more bugs to bring to restaurants, because apparently that's a thing.

Yelp
Had this place on my list for a while now, and finally walked over for a local date night. I will start by saying I absolutely LOVE this romantic ally way of restaurants. Along with Meraki Greek bistro, this area is a hidden gem that transports you to Europe and you momentarily forget you are in downtown Miami. We started with the roasted cauliflower with feta cheese foam and spinach gazpacho which was absolutely amazing and a light but flavorful way to start or dinner since we both opted for pastas as our mains. My boyfriend had the black tagliatelle pasta (which was fully vegan since it was made with actives charcoal and not squid ink). I opted for the octopus gnocchi which was delicious and the perfect portion. We left very satisfied, and the service and ambiance was perfect. Exceptional place for a romantic date night looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
The food was excellent. I got the lobster and farfelle pasta. Outdoor seating was nice and cozy in a well lit backdrop surrounded by trees. It was a little hard to navigate to at first but was well worth the find! The service was excellent and the staff we had was always ready to help! If you're in the area, or just dipping in the ocean nearby, I highly recommend! -Samuel

Yelp
We loved their outdoor courtyard seating, it was peaceful and shaded. The waitress was attentive and shared their daily specials with us right away. We shared the burrata (creamy and delicious) and the Chinese eggplant appetizers. For our dinner I had the lobster pappardelle, which was a bit too al dente for me. My boyfriend had the short rib tagliatelle, which was good. My sister had the octopus gnocchi, which I tasted. It tasted a little fishy to me.

Yelp
Very Good food and service. Very nice outdoor seating. Feels like you're in a European village.

Yelp
The service from the manager was wonderful, unfortunately the food portions were too small and too salty.

Yelp
This spot is cool! Great food, tucked in a cool patio, everything is very cool except the weather, which is Miami hot. I had the branzino and the cherry salad, both were great. The service was a little slow, had to ask for a Diet Coke 3 times but you can't really blame them, it's hot!

Yelp
Making this post because I want to thank Marco, one of the managers who greeted us on Valentines evening. After months of wanting to dine at this restaurant, my husband and I made a reservation for a quiet dinner but failed to notice it was a set menu for $120PP. Upon arrival we were looking into the menu we were not satisfied with any of the options and when I say it was set, it was very set, with 1 option for both parties. I became quiet distressed and Marco was extremely kind and generous and offered not charge us the cancelation fee. For his generosity alone, I wanted to make this post in hopes that he sees it and with the promise that we will definitely be back soon most likely for my birthday! Just wanted to say thank you for the hospitality and the kindness, Marco! We'll see you soon.

Yelp
Amazing hidden spot in an alley that opens up to this nice little alcove area that is a gem separated away from the craziness of Miami. We booked this for a pretty early dinner like 5:30pm. The service was super friendly - we were seated right away. From looking at the website beforehand, we saw on the website everything looked SO pretty and so high quality so were super stoked to order. For entree, got the octopus gnocchi and the lobster pappardelle. The octopus gnocchi - very yummy octopus bits, chewy and the sauce was quite light, perfect for summer. I liked the texture of the gnocchi, it had a good "tooth sinkability to it." It was topped with some herbs that were very mild flavor but very pretty! Lobster pappardelle - it had plenty of lobster meat in the dish and the noodle was so good! I'm really big on texture for noodles / pastas so I was super happy with this pappardelle. Definitely more thick / dense than other pastas but it's just how I like it. For the dessert, we ordered the pineapple mousse since that sounded the most interesting. It was delightful. The perfect amount of sweetness from the brioche and pineapple foam, not extremely creamy like other desserts but enough to make you feel like the meal is complete. Loved this place and we will definitely be back next time to try the rest of the menu!

Yelp
Price range $24-50 per entree Wine by the glass: $12-18 Wine by the bottle $45-200 Ideal : ideal for a romantic date night. Reservations: it's highly recommended because the seating is super limited! Atmosphere : super cozy restaurant with predominately outdoor seating! In a small little alley next to two other restaurants. The host was super cute and fashionable and the waiters were really nice and attentive. Pros: super delicious food and an extensive wine list( mostly by the bottle ). Cons : water was 9.00 I would definitely recommend going here for an anniversary or just super cozy intimate evening. It's a nice getaway from the city although it's in the heart of the city!

Yelp
Disappointed venue misleading website !!! Food is good however overpriced for a médiocre taverne No Ambiance the service was ok the young lady hospitable but come on 75 $ pp for that ! I have paid same at Boulud Miami yesterday in a wonderful décor table clothe finesse etc...I won't recommend it ! The check tip included was 289 $ for the dinner plus another addional gratuity which brings it to 75 $ pp especially that the portions were not generous Food is good presentation as well but no value !

Yelp
This is the best well kept secret. Lina and Diego owners are the sweetest. Diego is the chef and his dishes are amazing. I insist you must try this place. Dr. Thomas

Yelp
The owner did respond to my review and said he voided the water. I don't know what water he voided, and he does not know when I dined there and who paid the bill. I ate there actually at end of April, and we had 2 bottles of Evians. My husband was thirsty and finished the first and they quickly opened another without asking. I think there must be other customers feeling like me and complained about it right away. We did not, just the more I thought about it the more it did not sit right.

Yelp
I felt like I was in a restaurant in Europe. Very attentive staff & amazing food. Honestly a wonderful escape from the hustle, bustle of Miami where you have great wine selections & food menu at a reasonable price.

Yelp
The place is beautiful, very interesting little corner of Miami. It feels like you stepped into the Mediterranean, I imagine it would be a great date spot in the Evening. The food was good, but not as great as I had read in the reviews. It would be hard to get full from a meal here without spending a lot. Your portions are like half a plate. Now the service was extraordinarily awful, and I would blame it almost entirely on one or two people on the waitstaff. They were incredibly rude. I am a slow eater and they kept trying to take my plate and I politely said no several times- so they started rolling their eyes and complain to each other... they were about two feet away from me. They noticed I was watching and gave me a smile to try and cover themselves. They almost hit my mother when they put things in front of her and then laughed at it with each other. It was really gross. It's a shame that the place will be limited by two people who don't understand how hard it is to run a business.
google avatar

Stella T.

Yelp
Really great atmosphere, tucked away in the back of a building with a garden vibe. Friendly & efficient service. The food was good. Here is where they lost me.... seafood tower was $95 & it consisted of 2 tablespoons on lobster ceviche & maybe 6 thin slices of some fish carpaccio. We were a table of 4 & it was a portion for one person. Also to mention the presentation was lacking. The dessert trio was $29 & although it was tasty I feel it too was pushing that limit of overpriced. Bathrooms were really gross, they need to be cleaned throughout the night. Overall it was a good meal in a good setting. If these issues can be addressed I feel this restaurant would earn 5 stars from me.

Yelp
Amazing restaurant in downtown Miami! The restaurant was hidden in an alley and a bit hard to find. But the environment made me almost forget that I was still in the US since the vibe and the food was very Mediterranean. The foie gras gnocchi was a pleasant surprise, with very rich foie flavor but not greasy at all. The gnocchi was chewy. The black tagliatelle had a strong mushroom flavor. The dessert looked a little different from the picture since in the actual dessert it had toast at the bottom instead of pineapple, but it was still tasty. The servers were super nice and considerate.

Linda W.

Yelp
We were a group of 8 staying in a hotel prior to a cruise and this restaurant was near our hotel. I was amazed that we all liked our food and actually all ate the entire servings of the various choices. I had the gnocchi foie gras and it was outstanding. The Gnocchi were very tender and served in a rich brown sauce and sprinkled with little bits of raspberries to counteract the richness. The whole branzino was filleted nicely and the flesh was moist and delicious. Several people had the pasta dishes and loved them.

Yelp
Good food and good service My favorite was duck prosciutto Would I come back here? Maybe The pasta was ok The steak was not too great not the best cut

Yelp
Alloy is classy, well-hidden Italian bistro that was outstanding . I had black truffle pasta & burrata appetizer, both of which were amazing. While they have an impressive wine menu, I don't drink wine, so can't speak on it. Dessert was a unique take on chocolate fudge & was a great way to end the meal. The service is great & Marco was very helpful & attentive. The entire menu looked great & I'd definitely come back to sample the rest!

Yelp
Alloy Bistro Gourmet: nestled in downtown in the plaza containing Meraki bistro as well. The food was overall quite delicious. I did the chefs tasting menu and my fiancée did Miami Spice. Some highlights: Duck Prosciutto - perfectly seasoned and peppery from the duck itself Branzino- part of my tasting menu included both a smoked and cooked branzino, both which were delectable. The smoked was with pomegranate and the pop of the pomegranate really complemented the sauce it was in Flap steak - perfectly cooked with a savory mashed potato foam that let the steak truly shine Fudge dessert- I'm not a chocolate fan but LOVED this. It was rich but not overly sweet with tangy raspberries and a white miso cream that cut through the richness Fiancees amaretto and cappuccino foam dessert- light and fluffy and perfect to end the meal. Some items that could have been better: Tagliatelle - the sauce was delicious and the wagyu beef was perfectly cooked but we were maybe 1-2 minutes shy of al dente and it ended up being a bit chewy The Risotto from the tasting menu- the lobster bisque was DELISH. But again, maybe 1-2 minutes shy of being cooked and again, slightly chewy In a place that boasts its risotto and tagliatelle, if these had been perfectly cooked, alloy would've been a recipient of five stars. I will definitely be back seeing as the rest of the food was delicious and the wine pairing was great!! And I'm sure my review will become five at that point. They are very good at covid precautions. All staff including the chefs were wearing their masks the entire time and tables are very well spaced.

Yelp
Update: Not surprisingly, the manager decided to lie about the situation that was already mentioned in order to cover his own image instead of acknowledging fault, which is another red flag. First off, the claim that "only 5 people ordered food" is a total fabrication. 7 of us ordered. Secondly, the starter, or "appetizer" that was canceled was canceled by me because I had already gotten my main dish and it had still never came out. Thirdly, the server lied about the dish that never came out, claiming that it would be waived because of the delay but then including it on the bill anyway. This entire exchange happened only because the manager and server refused to accept responsibility for what could've been an easily solved issue. They both acted unprofessional and immature, so it stands to reason that servers and managers who can't do the bare minimum in terms of ethical conduct don't deserve a tip. We were completely willing to work with the mishap but we were gaslit and made out to be ignorant by the manager who simply refused to do the right thing (end of update). Bland food. Disrespectful staff that are inattentive, aloof, and don't have integrity. My friend's dish didn't come out until we were all done eating and the waitress lied about it being ready when we told her my friend never got her food, she proceeded to wait and received it even later. They refused to comp my friends meal and the manager aggressively approached me about it and yelled at me in front of my table, making a scene in front of other patrons, instead of owning up to the mistake like any other ethical and responsible manager would do. I don't recommend dining here because it was undeniably the most unprofessional service I have ever received.

Yelp
One of my favorite of all times is Alloy Bistro, in the middle of downtown Miami in a courtyard that will make you feel like you are not in the middle of the city, it feels like you are somewhere in a small village in the Mediterranean, really gorgeous. And how about the food, it is always amazing, this was actually during the Miami Spice months but, we have been dining there many times before that so, you can always trust that they have amazing dishes on the menu and Antonella, our server, she was great and she can help you with the choices of the food which is superb, love it

Yelp
Had one of the worst meals here on Sunday night (6/6/2021)! My husband and I wanted to try something new and decided to come here seeing all the great reviews. We sat outside and ordered duck prosciutto, foie gras, seafood pasta special, Pappardelle Lobster, BLACK SPAGHETTI with shrimp and a side of truffle risotto and out of all those dishes we only enjoyed the foie gras. Both seafood and lobster pasta dishes were horrendous! Look at the pictures not only is there little seafood but it was bland, tasteless and rubbery Side of truffle risotto was super watery, salty and just inedible My friend order the black spaghetti with shrimp and when the server brought it out it didn't have any! When she asked the server she said they ran out and decided to put a scallop instead when the menu clearly states shrimp. She should have told us Incase we wanted to order something else instead, very unprofessional. Plus they charge 18% gratuity automatically. I could not eat my lobster pasta or risotto and ended up buying take out after this 200$ meal.

Yelp
This is truly a hidden gem. At first you are not sure you want to go in but when you do you feel like you are in Italy. Hidden in a court yard in a random stretch of downtown, you are in a courtyard that you would never guess would be there. Claudio the owner is from Rome Italy and is very engaging and knowledgeable about his food and wine. We had four apps Branzino Tartar, grilled octopus, duck procuitto, and frois gras. All were executed perfectly and delicious. And for the main short rib ragu. It was great fresh pasta perfectly cooked. Great wine list and great people. Don't sleep on this place because of the location. It's great.

Yelp
The restaurant was so good and beef tenderloin was so good. Very high quality of food. A wide variety of meals and ingredients were great too. The fact that they also have a gluten free food. Excellent food choices. The duck prosciutto and truffle risotto has great flavor. So balanced and texture is so good. Offered a great options of food.

Yelp
My wife and I were thrilled with our choice of Alloy Bistro Gourmet this past Saturday night, December 16, 2023. The Cauliflower feta cheese foam was outstanding. We also loved the Chinese eggplant. My wife's favorite entree are lamb chops. Sharon is a bit of a connoisseur. She was very, very happy with them at Alloy Bistro. She thought they were totally yummy. I'm a vegetarian and the RAVIOLO CARCIOFO was terrific. They made it special for me without the prosciutto crumble. It was homemade raviolo with pistachio dough, artichoke cream & parmigiano cheese. Delicious. Maria, our server was very attentive, professional & caring about our needs & tastes. The other restaurant employees always kept our water glasses full and our dishes changed for clean ones. Our dinner and time at Alloy Bistro Gourmet was perfect. We look forward to turning our friends on to this restaurant and all going there together.

Yelp
I'm sorry guys but we came here for my birthday and I'm afraid this place is terribly overrated! No pepper or Pepperincino for the oil for your bread. We ordered the lobster pappardelle and the Langosta fettuccine, neither of which had ANY flavor. Seriously! The Pappardelle was not only stuck together in the plate but it was very undercooked. Not even al dente. The best thing was the Bronzino and the truffle risotto. The only two things that actually had any flavor. But the Bronzino comes with a green pea purée which I thought was actually a purée but what it is is three or four a little green dots on your plate that you can't even use to flavor the fish. I guess it's just there for affect. All in all a very disappointing experience especially for the price! My feeling is that people here in Miami really don't know good food based on the reviews for this restaurant.

Yelp
I enjoyed the food at this restaurant. Exquisite Italian dishes! We were greeted and sat promptly with water and bread to start. Our server or one of the owners - I'm not sure as this was a small restaurant - was very knowledgeable on every dish. She described each appetizer and entree in detail which I appreciated. We ordered the special branzino tartar with truffle which was spectacular! The pasta entrees were unique, authentic and delicious too. The octopus gnocchi was very good and the pistachio ravioli was great too. A bit salty but overall good. I didn't see the inside but the outside seating area was fine. I like more vamped up atmospheres but the food was really good so 5/5 for me!

Yelp
I came back to this restaurant after seeing some great pictures from a friend and I am glad I did. I had a complete different experience than what I had the first time I came here. Here is the breakdown: Decor/ Ambiance: Very cute "hidden gem" feel inside an alley in downtown Miami. Very romantic and cute setting that you don't even feel you are in the middle of the city. Simple, clean and perfect for a nice meal with friends, family or special people. Food: The food as truly delicious. Very flavorful and each dish had such a great presentation. The foie gras was divine. The octopus simply delicious. We ordered the while fish, light and tasty. The pasta choices were good too. Service: The guy helping us out was very friendly and courteous. Very different than my last experience. Overall: Had a pleasant experience. It was a great!

Yelp
You put the address in the GPS and it's kind of confusing when you arrive outside, you have to go down a little corridor to (I think) 3 different restaurants that all look super cute. You think you've found a hidden gem. The hostess was extremely nice and our waiter even more. Honestly they are the ones that made me give this place 2 stars. We went on a Thursday so got $1 oysters they were great (but you can't really mess up oysters). We had their special scampi $19 for 1 you could have it raw or grilled. Raw just didn't sound right to us so we went for the grilled. It was just horrible. But we thought maybe just not our taste. We had the lobster pasta and the pistachio ravioli we had seen on their Instagram page. What a disappointment in presentation when it arrived! (See pictures) I thought no worries maybe it's going to blow my mind when I take the first bite. Not at all! It was really bad. We had such high hopes for this place and won't be going back.

Yelp
This place is in a super cute plaza with other restaurants where they have very cute outdoor lights and ambiance. I went last thursday for dinner club with 7 people and the food was good but service took a little bit too long (probably because we were a big group). However, the servers were super super attentive and they kept bringing us bread (which was delicious) so we wouldnt starve ourselves. I ordered the lobster papardelle and absolutely loved it and recommend! Their wine menu is very extensive! But if you like beer they only have one option (estrella), so make sure you are a wine person before going here!

Yelp
Yesterday was my friends 33rd birthday celebration. One of us called ahead to set up a price fixe menu at $110/head to celebrate, and made the reservation for 13 people. We brought our own wine. Let me start with the biggest and most obviously ridiculous point. What had planned to be an ~$150 per person dinner including everything cost us $325 each. $650 per couple. I've been to several Michelin star restaurants that didn't cost that much, and let me tell you that mentioning alloy grill and Michelin in the same sentence is like mentioning strippers and the queen of England in the same sentence. We brought a 3L bottle of wine that had been kept for 20 years to celebrate. We were charged 4 corkage fees for this bottle at $125 per bottle. I understand the need for a corkage fee, but again, $125?!?! For that amount I expect a sommelier to tell me the story of the person who picked the grapes; instead our server broke the cork, poured full cups of wine and generally disrespected the hell out of it. And we paid $500 for the experience. On top of that, three people in the party couldnt make it; despite having a per person prix fixe, they charged us for 13 people and, most importantly, did not serve us 13 portions. It was incredibly ungraceful. The food itself was worth maybe 50 dollars a head. FAMILY-STYLE appetizers at that price-point was ridiculous; featuring an average cauliflower, a burrata with no cream inside, and a wild rice risotto that was so al dente it stuck to our teeth. To make matters worse, they tacked on (unrequested) a $25 truffle add-on, charged us for 13 of them, and two of the people at the table didn't even eat it because they don't like truffles. All in all it was a disgrace of a night, with the staff unwilling to give a flying F about any of this and basically telling us to pay and go away. Unfortunately, you will now receive 10 furious 1-star rating for your egregious GREED and pathetic show of hospitality. Two of us work in the industry and will do our best to see that you will never serve a serious diner again. In the times of covid where restaurants are struggling, it is terrible to leave bad reviews, but sometimes you just earn them.

Yelp
It wasn't my first time , we came to have dinner and it was lovely! The carpaccio and the pasta were my favorites! Staff is extremely kind and helpful. Luna, the owner, was constantly checking all the tables and asking if everything was well! Her husband the chef is a genius! Both of them Taking care of every single detail! Great time will be back , and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Yelp
This was our first meal on a recent trip to Miami. It's a small restaurant in a courtyard downtown. Was great for lunch, but is probably even better and more intimate for dinner. The roasted cauliflower appetizer felt so simple, but was one of the best cauliflower dishes I've ever had. The fresh pastas were incredible, you can't go wrong ordering anything pasta related. The service was great and she convinced us to go with the pineapple dessert...it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back for dinner next time we are in Miami.

Yelp
We were looking for something different and yet interesting to eat. It was a nice surprise to confirm what our friends from NY told us about Alloy Bistro Gourmet in Downtown Miami. You will not notice this restaurant from the street. You must go inside a courtyard with lots of magic! It is like traveling to the Mediterranean! White and blue, natural plants, good music, and a fresh vibe. But the place is not the best about Alloy. Its food... We had a Seafood tower as a starter. Then, I wanted to try a pasta prepared at the very last minute, as per what the server let us know. Lobster Pappardelle... fresh lobster meat, perfectly cooked pasta paired with a St. Michael Eppan Pinot Grigio. My wife had Gnocchi with Foie Gras :) Delicate and balanced. Thank you to our server as well because with a menu like that It is not easy to decide what to eat. Everything looks like a must-have!

Yelp
Hidden Gem Alert!!! Alloy Bistro is a hidden gem located in an alleyway in downtown Miami. When you're here, you feel whisked away from busy bustling downtown Miami to a serene restaurant in the Mediterranean. I would definitely recommend dining outside if weather permits. As for parking, there is definitely adequate street parking nearby and worst case scenario there is a parking lot right across from the alleyway. I would definitely recommend making reservations just in case because although it was not crowded when my friend and I came here for lunch, it started filling up as we worked on our lunch. Pricing wise, you get what you paid for. You can order as expensive and as inexpensive as you wish with dishes ranging from $10 to $30. But in my opinion for the quality of food, service and dining experience, this place is well worth the money. Service: This place has impeccable service! The server was absolutely amazing. This was our first time here at Alloy and the server was very patient with us explaining the menu to us. Even after we ordered he always came by to check on how we were doing and gave us a cute spiel on how everything we ordered was prepared. Food: The food pairings overall were all just so creative and perfect. And did I mention the presentation? FLAWLESS food presentation. Roasted Cauliflower The roasted cauliflower was roasted to perfection; a slightly tarnished exterior with a succulent interior paired with airy whipped feta cheese and a zesty spinach gazpacho. Simply delicious! Definitely some of the best-roasted cauliflowers I have ever had. Smoked Octopus The smoked octopus was served freshly smoked with the lid trapping the smoke until it arrived at our table. The octopus was fresh, sweet and juicy paired with perfectly seasoned potatoes. Paired with the preserved lemon arugula cream and harissa sauce this dish was perfection. Truffle Risotto For all your truffle lovers out there you must try this truffle risotto. It was so savory that we couldn't stop eating it. Perfect savory truffle sauce paired with organic black Venere rice Pineapple Crumble I'm not one to make it to dessert but I would for this pineapple crumble. If you could combine a cinnamon roll and a pineapple crumble, this is what you get. It was absolutely delicious! Soft and fluffy bread paired cinnamon, pineapples, and airy whipped cream. Unlike most desserts, this was the perfect sweetness. Not too overpowering and not too bland. Overall, I highly recommend checking out Alloy Bistro. Amazing food, service and atmosphere. I definately plan on visiting again when I am in Miami again. I unfortunately did not get to take a look at their wine list and try their wines but it is definately on my to do list the next time I am here.
