"If you think food tastes better al fresco , wait until you grab dinner at altitude. Allred’s Restaurant sitshalfway up Telluride Ski Resortand is only accessible by gondola—from Lift 4 all the way up to San Sophia station. Once there, you should order the elk strip loin, marinated in juniper bourbon and served with sunchoke purée and black cherry compote, or the crispy Scottish quail with blue-corn cornbread and lingonberry-jalapeño sauce. Both are divine, especially when eaten with an eagle’s-eye view of the entireTelluridevalley."

First of all… what a view!!! Staff was amazing, professional and personable. The bartender made us feel welcome while we waited for our table. He also made a drink to pair perfectly with my husbands meal when requested. We had a slight issue with our meal and it was handled professionally and the manager made sure everything was right. I was very impressed with the level of customer service we received. The food was delicious. This was the highlight of our trip and I highly recommend them!

Google
We've been to Allred's multiple times across a decade at this point. The views are always incredible and the decor inside is on point for the mountain aesthetic. Service in the past, and on this trip, was hit or miss and I'd say the food experience varies as well. With that said, our most recent visit in June 2025 was to the bar which had great views and decent drinks. Allred's is popular for a reason, but I value it's views/vibes primarily.

Google
Not very busy for 7:30 pm reservation on Sunday of MDW. Even with crowds from the film festival in town. Service was fantastic, I loved the cauliflower soup, the surf & turf and the sticky toffee pudding was to die for. Can’t beat the gorgeous views. Gondola ride up to the restaurant is also a lot of fun.

Google
The view is amazing and we wanted to try this place but the food is pretty meh and not too impressed with their cocktails. The steak wasn’t good quality for waygu and the price. Steak was tough and over cooked and really tasted nothing like I expected. Overall the food left a lot to be desired unfortunately 😑

Google
Celebrated anniversary here and super impressed with my experience. Food was exceptional with highlights being the elk and sticky toffee cake as I'm sure many have already mentioned. Even bread service was very good! What I am most impressed with is after my partner received his wagyu that was overcooked (which we didn't ask to send back), the manager came over to apologize and confirmed it was indeed overcooked and offered a complimentary menu item. Allreds is amazing and the view is spectacular. Service is top tier. Food items pictured are oysters, bread service, lamb (recommend) and wagyu in the back (don't recommend).

Google
Excellent service with drink orders timed perfectly with each course. The atmosphere is unparalleled -- at over 10,000 feet of elevation the mountain views do not disappoint. The food was excellent as well. Eating at Allreds is a memorable experience!

Google
Food was excellent for price. $105 for 3 course meal! We both had the elk and it was phenomenal. You get to ride in the gondola to get to this restaurant. Decor is very ski town/western. Where we were seated kind of felt like a cafeteria and was a bit loud. Could be easily fixed and dampened with some nice privacy screens with sound dampening integrated. Sommelier was so sweet and very helpful!

Google
Can't beat the view. Food was delicious, though the fixed price menu makes it a bit pricey especially for a group of 15. The most unique dining experience in telluride

Yelp
The ultimate telluride experience. Great food. Fantastic service. Their impressive wine selection will satisfy even the pickiest of wine enthusiasts. Yes the price is high but what do you expect.

Yelp
Such beautiful views, breathtaking! We came for dinner and it was packed, reservations highly recommended and it makes sense why. Calm piano music was playing. The food was amazing, loved their tasting menu. The desserts... wow. I don't even have sweet tooth and I wanted to eat them all. This is definitely a fine dining restaurant that lives up to it. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Been going to this restaurant for years with outstanding experiences. This week I was beyond disappointed. Tables were squeezed together to get as many patrons as possible in. Every server or guest that walked past me hit my chair. I always order the elk which came out cold and underwhelming. When the prices are exorbitant, I expect better. May truly reconsider our annual visit

Yelp
Um... incredible. You guys made our Christmas Eve! If you can't get a reservation, get into the bar right at 5! We had no problem! Thank you!!

Yelp
Great restaurant and unbeatable location requiring a ski gondola ride up to enter! Got there right when they opened @4:45 (small secret!) and got the best table with total panoramic view of Telluride and the mountains beyond. Food was authentic cuisine prepared by a team of chefs/cooks that were not hidden behind a wall but visible to all as they did their magic in the rear of the main restaurant seating room. Service was perfectly timed as were timings of bringing out the meals. Due to popularity they state a two hour table limit but we finished in less than that without feeling any sort of pressure to leave at any point. They are currently using a 3-course price fix menu but within that many great choices. Definitely worth a visit when you're in the area.

Yelp
Absolutely worst steak I've eaten in my life. I ordered the tomahawk, which of course came at a premium. Something was significantly "off" with the flavor of the steak. But the restaurant is so fancy, and so highly rated, I convinced myself that it was just me, so I powered through the whole thing. A guy at the table next to us ordered the same thing, but their table was seated well after us. It wasn't until I was signing the check when I overheard the guy sending his steak back with *extreme* prejudice (hard not to overhear). It took us three seasons to finally book this place far enough in advance to get a table. Last time.

Yelp
Incredible restaurant and view. The sommelier Katie would make it worth the visit just cause she is so knowledgeable and friendly. We loved it.

Yelp
So excited to roll into Allred's for lunch -- anticipating a buffet similar to Stein Erickson in Deer Valley -- I can practically taste the overflowing raw bar, the cook-to-order freshlburgers, the huge/varied/fresh buffet -- but alas, reality sets in quickly and I am greeted with three sad and wilted salad options, small bowls of air-browned chicken salad and some other protein I have already forgotten, a couple luke-warm soups, burgers that must have been purchased frozen at the local market and... the highlight... chicken fingers (which were surprisingly good, but you really need to eat a lot of them to make the $38/pp worthwhile). I always want to like the lunch at Allred's, but it rarely makes the grade.

Yelp
This is a fantastic restaurant with impeccable service and a gorgeous view of the Telluride valley below. It is a short gondola ride from either Telluride or Mountain Village and the meal and the service are worth every cent. The menu consists of a "three course tasting menu" ($89 in October 2022) with numerous selections to fulfill everyone's taste buds. We started off with the mixed berry salad and the steamed pei mussels. The salad was made up of mixed greens and berries, goat cheese and pecans over a blackberry vinaigrette balsamic dressing. The mussels were served in a garlic-white wine broth with heirloom cherry tomatoes and a grilled baguette. The broth was amazing, and we sopped it up with the fresh baked bread at the table. For the second course, we all tried different items. We had the Alaskan Halibut (with olive oil marble potatoes and asparagus; light and flavorful!), the Beef Tenderloin and seared Sea Scallops (with crispy marble potatoes and broccoli, cooked perfectly) and the Elk Loin (marinated in a juniper-bourbon mixture with butternut squash risotto; amazing). It was definitely the best meal we had during out stay! For the third and final course, we chose three different desserts. The Creme Brulee, the Chocolate Mousse Cake and the Vegan Cheesecake. All were perfect compliments to the end of the meals and the Vegan Blueberry Cheesecake was an absolute surprise and an exceptional treat! The highest compliment goes to our server, Casey, who was professional, well-versed in the entire menu and a great conversationist. She did an outstanding job of keeping us entertained and giving us the appropriate amount of space to enjoy our three-course experience. Kudos to all!!

Yelp
Allred's is a must try for almost all visitors to Telluride. The large rustic dining room with spectacular mountain views is worth the trip alone. The food is top notch, what they do they do well. Prix Fixe 3 and 5 course meal selections. All of the Colorado standards are on the menu - trout, lamb, elk, and bison. As you order, keep in mind the portions are large. The Hamachi appetizer was very good, light refreshing and a nice starter. Colorado Lamb Rack perfectly cooked -- 4 ribs was more than my wife could handle however. Desserts were very good. Nice all premium wine selection by the glass, so go for it, you are having a really good meal with a view. Our server, Shayka was friendly, helpful and gave solid descriptions of some of her favorites. Easy to see why Allred's remains a popular dining spot.

Yelp
This was my first mountain dinner experience and I am fortunate enough to have been able to celebrate my birthday here. The food, service and presentation was amazing!! My server (Baylor) was so attentive and knew exactly what we needed to take this dinner to the next level. Thank you so much Allred's!! We will be back
google avatar

Dawn C.

Yelp
The two attendants for our table, Heidi and Wolfgang made sure our visit was perfect. They were attentive without being bothersome which is greatly appreciated and a bit of an art. The food was as delicious as expected and the wine, (what little I could drink due to the altitude) was perfect. The good spacing between tables, the large fireplace and floor to ceiling windows created the ambiance you would expect from a 5 star restaurant. Make your reservations now if you are heading to Telluride, Allreds is the place to dine if you want 5'star food, service and environment at a price that is fair given the high quality service and food you receive.

Yelp
We had the 3 course for $109 pp during the winter holidays. You're also paying for the view which you cannot see in the Winter because of darkness. Shishitos are super spice hot. Lobster bisque was a little too thick for me.

Yelp
Top notch restaurant! Awesome service, delicious steaks, wonderful drinks! Just a great experience all around!

Yelp
Amazing views and service. Food was well made and wine selection was extensive. A must go to when in Telluride!

Yelp
WHAT A MEAL. What can I say... amazing from start to finish. Views from the gondola on the way up we're spectacular. The ahi tuna crispy rice to start was amazing. Was surprised at the perfection of the octopus for the first course. Elk tenderloin was to die for!! Even the vegan blueberry cheesecake was incredible. Service was also great, very knowledgeable! I will be back soon!!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely to die for! This place is a must go when in Telluride! Take the quick trip up the gondola from either Telluride or Mountain Village and get off at the San Sophia station. We walked in and were immediately greeted and asked if we wanted to check our coats. We were seated at a table with a gorgeous view of the telluride city lights! For drinks, we got the spicy mule and another one I can't remember that had gin in it. Both very good! For food, it is a 3 course pre-fixe meal for $89 per person. We got the shishito peppers and croutons for the table. Croutons are a MUST!! For our first courses, we got the carpaccio, poke, hamachi, a salad, and mussels (there were 5 of us). The poke and mussels stood out to me! For entrees, we got the elk loin, tuna, pork chop, and sea bass! Everything was amazing and different. I thought my pork chop was the standout!! We ended with the third course of cheesecake, bread pudding, sticky toffee pudding, and crème brûlée. Luckily we had enough people to try them all! If you have to choose one, the sticky toffee was everyone's favorite! We will be back next time we are in town.

Yelp
This is a special place. I love riding the Gondola to dinner. We are locals, and have been here a couple of times, twice at the bar, once in the dining room for the tasting menu. All of our experiences prior to this were good, not amazing, but good enough. This restaurant has a great, very well trained staff. The bartenders, Sommelier and servers are excellent. This time we sat at the bar and as always, the service was outstanding!!! The food... very close to being outstanding, just a couple of misses... My husband and I each ordered from the tasting menu. I started with the Himachi... incredible!!! Then I got the Bison T-bone steak, it's huge! A little too fatty for me, I was surprised that it was that fatty being a bison T-bone, but it was still delicious. The truffle potato was a little undercooked and no taste of Truffle which was disappointing, I want a truffle when the menu says there will be truffles! Oyster mushrooms were incredible and overall it was a good dish. My husband got the tempura Octopus, unreal!!! One of the best things I ate that night! And then he got the Elk loin, we get that quite often, they really nail that dish here. And the deserts... oh my! I got the sticky toffee desert and it was epic, my husband got the crème brûlée, and it was delicious. Overall, a fabulous experience! Thank you to the Sommelier, the bartenders, and just everyone who shows up to make Allreds such a special experience! Cheers, we will see you soon!

Yelp
After coming into a great sum of money (it's called insurance fraud honey, look it up) and adopting a lifestyle my "friends" can't match - I've resorted to often dining alone. One can't give up life's finest pleasures just because *some* people (Stacy and Ben) are poor. So I did just that, at the bar. There's a 3 course pre fixe menu one isn't obligated to when sat at the bar, but it's there. There's a steak and fries option, hamburger etc. on the bar menu. But my eyes and my high value dollar were already set on the 3-courser. The yellowfin tuna was my first dish. Very good with the pickled cucumber. Like a sashimi type deal. The butternut squash risotto was perfectly under salted to give way to the higher flavor profile of the elk lion. Very good together with the chard and the squash crisp which was like the thinnest, crispiest potato chip ever. Dish well curated! After a glass of wine, and upon choosing dessert- I found myself being vulnerable with the bartender and told him I had had a lot of crème brûlée in my life and he indulged in my vulnerability and said "then get the sticky toffee pudding". I obliged. It was good. To be honest, not a combination flavors I haven't had before at other nice dining establishments but tasty none the less. The sponge cake was perfectly moist, only more moistened by the whipped cream and toffee sauce. There was a thin wafer type cookie with almonds on top that add a nice crunch as well. It paired nicely with a single shot of espresso. The check came, I cartoonishly yanked my collar at the bartender and he understood when I had to step away to open a new credit card. Jk, the price point was as expected. Okay, not being silly anymore now, the ride down from the restaurant on the gondola might have been my favorite part. The sun was just finishing setting and it was a beautiful ending to a great meal. Mountain village looked like Hogwarts at that time of evening. I spent the next 20 minutes going in circles around mountain village trying to figure out where I parked my car. 10/10 magical evening.
google avatar

Yolanda A.

Yelp
Expensive but to be expected. Dessert was amazing and I felt we should have started with that. My husband really enjoyed his meal. Too many mushrooms in my meal and not enough carbs, left me wanting more. Wish we could have gone earlier to enjoy the views.
google avatar

Jessie Z.

Yelp
We can't say enough about our dining experience! From a sweet greeting from Mario, to Curry's amazing service! The food was unbelievable! We actually left another resturant after drinks because the food wasn't going to cut it. It was completely worth it! My husband loved corn and crab soup and the mussels were so good! The scallops and elk steak were cooked and served to perfection! I realize that this is a splurge! Start saving and blow it out!!! It is worth every dime! We will be back every time we come to Telluride!
google avatar

Yelp
We truly enjoyed Allred's! The restaurant is located on the mountain at the St. Sophia Station. Weather is never an issue so long as the gondola is running. We arrived a little early and they sat us at a nice window table as requested. The views are fantastic. Service provided by Casey was friendly, helpful, flexible, and attentive. The menu is a 3-course fixed price. You can either do an appetizer, salad, entrée, or a salad, entrée, and dessert. We did each of those options. Highlights we recommend were the Caesar salad (very fresh), steamed mussels, Bison Ribeye (upgrade charge), and the Rhubarb Cobbler. The tuna entrée was also good, but way too spicy for my wife. She had to cut the outside layers off to enjoy. Prices were very reasonable, especially for such a nice restaurant in Telluride.

Tracy W.

Yelp
Not sure why this didn't post. It is 7 years old. 02.12.24 - The place is still expensive, but changed to a prix fixed -no beverages- menu so you pay that price. Your dining time is fixed as well - 2 hours. The food and view is still worth the splurge 02.2018 - This place is as described EXPENSIVE!!!!! I would not eat here on every trip to Telluride as it could break the bank. It is very easily over $100/person. If possible make your reservations for 5:30. I know it is very early to dinner, but if you request it you may get lucky and have a window table. As stated the view is spectacular. Watching the alpine glow as the sun sets - breathtaking. Then you watch the town of Telluride light up. The food is as good as the view. Our service has been fantastic each time we have gone. Full disclosure, there was a member of our party that felt the wait staff ignored them, which was unfortunate. If you head directly to dinner from the slopes Alred's provides slippers so you don't have to stomp around in your ski boots - only bad part is you have to put your ski boots back on after dinner. If you want a splurge it is worth it, IF you get the view as well.

Paula A.

Yelp
Everything about this place is wonderful. Suggest you reserve a table early to get the best window views. Food, service, ambiance are one and done!! The scallops will melt in your mouth as will the tenderloin. Our guest were in awe of the food snd views.
google avatar

Taylor P.

Yelp
Food and drinks were amazing! The view is truly hard to beat and our waiter was phenomenal. I highly recommend stopping by!
google avatar

Andrew W.

Yelp
Excellent food and views in a very impressive building on the mountain! The price point is high, but not unreasonable considering. The food isn't what I would call fancy though so if you want frou frou go elsewhere. I'd call this elevated comfort food. Definitely recommended if you're in Telluride!
google avatar

Sandra M.

Yelp
Love you, and the service was stellar! Would highly recommend it. We never Katie the wine professional is amazing. We also recommend Lance and Kevin for a server.

Tammy N.

Yelp
Very exclusive restaurant. It's up high on the mountain top. We rode the gondola up and saw the village lit up. So romantic. The restaurant ambiance is so beautiful. The food was superb. The service was excellent. Great and memorial experience for our group of 9.
google avatar

Kathryn P.

Yelp
Wow, simply no restaurant view will ever top this. Incredible dining experience and the wagyu filet was out of this world. If you are visiting telluride make a reservation here the day you book your trip I'm pretty sure I made this 5 months in advance.... They also have a happy hour at the bar and have some tables in the bar area.
google avatar

Hailey P.

Yelp
Wow, wow, wow is all that I have to say about this spot! We recently visited Telluride and had our almost 2 year old + parents in tow, therefore, they were able to watch him one evening so that my husband and I could have a date night! What better choice than a restaurant on the top of a mountain with stunning views of Telluride and its surrounding beauty?! This gem is located at the top of the gondola station between Telluride and Mountain Village. I recommend going around happy hour/early evening so that you can watch the sunset and get the best views. During Covid/October they were offering a $65, 3 x course prix fixe menu which is a killer deal at this spot! We started will the cauliflower appetizer and it was crispy and delicious with a sweet soy sauce. For my 3 choices, I had their caesar salad, beef tenderloin, and a toffee pudding dessert. AMAZING. The salad was incredible with their homemade caper anchovy dressing (not too fishy) and crumbled hard boiled eggs on top (such a fun twist!). The tenderloin was melt-in-your-mouth good. Honestly one of the best steaks that I've ever had, over creamy mashed potatoes, asparagus and a delicious sauce. I was too full for my dessert, so you better believe that I took it home to enjoy for breakfast. Yes, please! If you're in Telluride, I 100% recommend Allred's and be sure to make your reservation before you even leave for your trip because they book out far in advance! We can't wait to return!
google avatar

Ailinh T.

Yelp
Amazing food. Amazing view. Amazing service. I had the best lamb of my life. My husband's bison steak with morels was pretty legendary as well. The sticky toffee pudding is just so delicious I absolutely need it in my life again.
google avatar

Tim O.

Yelp
Allred's is as good as it looks. This is a top class ski resort restaurant. Usually I get the feeling that these places copy dishes from trendy restaurants in the "big cities" but with the execution here it really felt like they made them their own and actually made the big city options look a bit lazy and uninspired. I wanted to eat a lot so was able to stitch together two tasting menus at what I thought was a fair price. My only critique is that I think A5 wagyu is too special to be served on top of a bed of anything--but I suppose that is the chef's prerogative.
google avatar

Adam M.

Yelp
Sooooooooo Good. This place was great. The view out the window here is awesome, and the food is even better. I absolutely loved this place, and would certainly go back next time I'm looking for an upscale dinner in Telluride. They had a three course tasting menu and all of the food was amazing. The Seared Ahi Tuna was phenomenal and the wild-caught Alaskan halibut was great. Overall the food is amazing and the food is great. If you're looking for a nice night out and okay with a higher priced place then Allreds is the place for you!
google avatar

Susan H.

Yelp
We enjoyed an amazing dinner celebrating our anniversary. Service was high quality and attentive. We enjoyed the stuffed peppadew peppers to start. You must try these! For our first course, My husband had the Hamachi Aguachiles and I chose the steamed mussels. Second course, of elk loin and halibut. Everything was fresh, delicious and visually pleasing. My husband chose the vegan blueberry cheesecake. He is not vegan since he had the elk for 2nd course but was in the mood to try something different. He very much enjoyed it. I very much enjoyed the sticky toffee cake. It may have a different title but the caramel sauce is devine. Thank you for a wonderful anniversary dinner.
google avatar

Shelean F.

Yelp
Place is beautiful. A tad bit disappointed we didn't get a window view when I made the reservation months into advance requesting one. Food was good but our server wasn't all that pleasant unfortunately. It would have gotten 5 stars if service and window request had been met.

Yelp
Offseason in Telluride, and staying in the mountain village (above town) - wanted a nice meal without the kids. Allred's was PERFECT! Food was great, service was over the top. Just a note - this time of year it is a $65 fixed price menu per person (not sure if it is just this time of year or all year 'round) so it isn't cheap. That said, I would Highly recommend it - you are in Telluride - nothing is cheap. We were there at night in the dark - I bet during the day or evening sunset is insane. Probably an epic view. (I included a photo I took earlier in the day from about the same spot) Here is what we had: Cocktails - the blood orange Mule was Awesome!! I am a Moscow Mule aficionado and this was top notch. (Not cheap though - $17) Starters - mushroom soup and mussels Main - I had salmon, she had halibut. Salmon was great, the halibut (with gnocchi and pesto) was Outstanding!!! Super. Get that for sure if it is on the menu. Desserts - Cream Brûlée....chocolate bread pudding with raspberries. Great. Only thing I would change would be to go when the sun was up and you get a view something like the last photo.

Yelp
We had a great time here. It's expensive but we loved the food and the view. Make a reservation ahead of time. Show up early and have a drink in the bar area.

Tycho S.

Yelp
Food was very good. Buffet with lots of options and different cuisines. Service was very good as the server made sure to fill up our waters a lot and ask if we need anything. Very nice architecture with the stone arches and nice wood floors. They offered cubbies for helmets and gloves and slippers for taking your boots off. The only bad part was the entrance which was junky and just wood board. Other than that, the place was all around great and I would totally recommend.

K B.

Yelp
We needed up in the bar by the window, because although we made a reservation by the window, they don't guarantee it. It's first come first served. That was a bit disappointing! The view is spectacular! Our server Daniel was new and he did pretty well. We did the peppadew appetizer that was delicious! I had the crab and corn bisque, and it was awesome! My husband had the blackberry salad and loved it. We split the halibut and it was great too! The sticky toffee pudding was good but a little off! I think they over browned the butter when making the carmel sauce which resulted in a toasted/burnt marshmallow flavor on the back side of each bit. It was odd! We love this dessert and eat it in lots of places, so we know what it should taste like! My cosmo was good but not very strong. Drinks are pricey!

Yelp
Every time I'm in telluride we stop in for apres or dinner. Money well spent and impeccable service!!

Yelp
The most beautiful view overlooking the Mountains and town of Telluride. A beautiful open kitchen design, stonework walls, fireplaces, gorgeous wooden beams with awesome chandeliers & floor to ceiling windows. The service was absolutely superb and the food was amazing...every single bite was perfection!! This is an absolute must dine experience!!
google avatar

Jackie G.

Yelp
Alfred's is such a treat! Beautiful inside, with huge windows all around for views of the mountain. I didn't make a reservation so I just sat on the bar side, which was just as lovely. I was pleased that they had several mocktails available to order.

Timothy C.

Yelp
The food was tremendous and was surpassed by the service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to create a memorable dining experience.
google avatar

Cassie Y.

Yelp
Go for apres! Have to get there around 245 or so to get a table at the small bar area but the drinks and small plates are great and the views are incredible! Have yet to try dinner here but definitely on our list for our next trip

Steph R.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere but very loud and crowded. Expensive but the location is very special. Too bad there is no view of the mountains at night. The food was good but not great and the kitchen messed up 2 of our 4 entrees. Our server was good and fun.

Yelp
Went to Allreds for the second time with my family. Last time in telluride, we enjoyed the food and atmosphere so we went again. Everything was going super well until our main courses were brought out. I had ordered a filet but received a bone in strip loin instead. Not a big deal, I was fine with it and ate it happily. However, the problem arose when I notified the server that it wasn't what I had ordered. The whole table heard me order and we all agreed it was a mistake on her part, but she straight up said to me "No you didn't order a filet, I wrote it down right here." Pretty outlandish for a server at a place like that to be so confidently wrong. I wasn't being difficult or anything and I told her it was no problem at all but she still caught an attitude that put a bad taste in all of our mouths for the rest of the dinner. Just couldn't believe we would be spoken to like that when paying over $1,000 for a dinner. I've worked in 5 restaurants (currently manage one) and I've never told a customer they were wrong about what they ordered so it shocked me that she had the audacity to do so. The customer is almost always right, especially when it's a party of 7 at a restaurant like that and each meal is over $100. We also ordered two nice bottles of wine so we were taken back when she was a little rude to us. It genuinely caught the whole table off guard because everyone heard my order. Of course, I just said no problem at all and ate my strip loin, still a good cut of meat but it definitely wasn't an 8 ounce dry aged wagyu filet as I was expecting. I wouldn't have made her have the kitchen make a new filet, no one has time for that. But an apology would have been much appreciated and was expected considering the price point and circumstance. Next time I go there I'll make sure I don't have that waitress, I heard atleast two of her other tables complain about other things but maybe she just had an off night. Anyways, other than that everything was good. Sommelier Kate is absolutely fantastic at her job and the wines she recommended were delicious. Our only issues were inconsistent steak temperatures (pretty shocking considering the prices) and that server who I won't name telling me I was wrong about what I had ordered for dinner. Pretty bizarre to tell a person what they want especially when they're paying you high dollar for your service. I still definitely recommend Allred's, but there are better places in Telluride.

Yelp
Amazing views and amazing food. This restaurant is a must go! I got the elk tenderloin and my husband the sea bass. They were both cooked to perfection

Yelp
Beautiful views, delightful and attentive wait staff, and delicious food. What more can you ask for in an evening visiting Telluride? I ordered the scallops and tenderloin and substituted the potatoes for extra broccolini. It was the bomb! My friend loved her rack of lamb.
