Alma Mía Valparaíso

This place is an absolute gem! Hands down, the best ceviche I’ve had in Chile and easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere in the world—fresh, perfectly balanced, and packed with flavor. The octopus? Simply divine—tender, fresh, and incredibly delicious. The mango juice was refreshing and full of real fruit goodness, and even the bread with butter was a treat. Everything here is just on another level. If you’re a seafood lover, this spot is a must-visit!

We originally stopped in to use the restroom but the atmosphere and smell were both so lovely we decided to stay for a light meal! Both my fiance and I got a dirty chai (one vegan, one with regular milk) which I highly recommend! Obviously made in house (not from concentrate) with perfect foam. I am vegetarian and got a trio of vegan toasts which was on the breakfast menu but made for a great early lunch. My fiancé is pescatarian and got the baked clams with Parmesan. Many places have this dish but Alma Mia did it particularly well! They offer menu items for a variety of diets and everything was beautifully prepared!

We had an amazing brunch. Freshly made bread with local ingredients made for a fantastic meal. Friendly service plus the area is great to explore before or after.

Delicious food, a lot of wine options. Friendly people in a cozy atmosphere - would definitely come back!

Food was Ok: The salmon that we asked literally "almost raw" (in Spanish so you can't blame being lost in translation) came overcooked. Salmon and sandwich took more than 40min to arrive. To be fair they were nice and gave is a beer as an apology
