Wonderful food, hummus is very good and meats are cooked well. The family feast was plenty of food for our group of 5, we had tons of leftovers. Good service, sahtein Great place for groups. They have hookah outside if you want.

Wow! This place serves authentic Lebanese/Mediterranean food. To be honest, it’s one of the few restaurants I’ve found with truly delicious dishes that feel like home! I highly recommend the Almaza Platter and the Mixed Kabob Platter. The only suggestion I have is to separate the outdoor area from the indoor space, as the smell of the shisha was quite intense inside the restaurant, even though smoking wasn’t allowed indoors.

Stopped here on a Monday night for dinner, I’m not a hookah fan but our group wanted to go. They said hookah was great & I thought the food quality was great. Their mint tea had no trace of mint, unless we accidental just got served black tea. We were too tired to make a fuss about it. Regardless, service was good & it was surprisingly really packed for a Monday.

Real good food comes from the heart and, I’ve been made to feel at home time and time again. They’ve got a recipe for success here with great food, impeccable hospitality and a touch of warmth.

I went to eat for dinner . I ordered Mix Kabobs , Coke, Vegetable samosas and french fries. They brought the food . The beef Kabobs smelled really bad and raw and uncooked inside . I called the waiter and told him that it smells and not cooled well. He took it back and brought it after 30 minutes, just burned it . Not very well cooked and smelled so bad and I didn’t eat it at all. The beef kofta kabob smelled so awful. The rice , vegetables, samosas, french fries and chicken was a little bit good . At checkout, I complained to Manager about the food . He said Yes, I know that . That is so disrespectful and irresponsible and arrogant behavior. Listen to your customer in a polite way . Dont be scared of criticism. Overall , very bad experience. the waiters were professional but tge manager . Dont want to go gain . overpriced food and you guys expect TIP* too. No way .

Very good. Big sizes. Big menu. Spicy cream chicken and all hummus types were unreal. My only improvement would be the bread. Comes out nice and soft but quickly goes hard a crusty. Service is ok but maybe not most attentive - completely fine. Also open very late.

Came here for an afternoon lunch, my sister was craving lamb and hookah. Don’t even ask. Lol but this spot has both. The location of this restaurant isn’t really aesthetically pleasing. Its next to a good will and liquor store. Its a lot going on in this “shopping center” if you call it. But they have inside and outside seating and everything you need for an enjoyable dining experience. We did have to wait a little to be served initially but Luis was working the floor hisself and was incredible. The customer service was on point and I respect his work ethic. He handled everything and got it done. The food was good. My sister demolished her lamb. The Brussels sprouts, I don’t recommend. They were so cooked, you don’t even see the green in the vegetable. But Luis made sure I was satisfied after this issue and we moved on. I can’t say I would be in a rush to come back here but I did want others who may choose to come to know what to expect and highlight some of the pros of this place! All in all it was a good time.

Kinda old school inside, which is rare and like a throwback. Super tasty traditional middle eastern food with good service. The platters are great for sharing with family and friends. Options for vegetarians and carnivores. Easy for takeout when you are craving good hummus and kebab or falafel, too! My suggestions for the restaurant: play middle eastern music! It goes with the vibe. And fewer tv screens inside would be good.

My first time trying Almaza and I was Impressed. I ordered the Chicken Schawarma plate with Spicy Hummus. The Chicken was seasoned very well and the portion was generous. The Spicy Hummus was very good also. I will definitely be ordering from Almaza again. I would definitely suggest ordering extra Garlic sauce as it is quite addicting!

I ordered a falafel sandwich he charged me $14.29. I showed the owner online on the Menu says $5.50 for the sandwich. He still insisted and charged me a completely different price.

Was looking for something healthy and delicious that was open late and Almaza definitely delivered! We ordered 2 chicken kebab plates. They came with rice and a really nice salad. The chicken was so tender, one of the best kebabs I've ever had. The staff was super nice when I came to pick up my food. I also liked that it's a hookah lounge, I will definitely have to come back to try it!

I have to admit, being somebody who has a Mediterranean background I'm very skeptical and very judging about Mediterranean, restaurants, especially when they have Hookah. Almaza, up to the potential and the hype that I saw before I came here for the first time a few weeks ago. If you're lucky, you can probably park in front of the restaurant, if not, there is a little plaza parking lot that's not far at all, when you enter the restaurant, usually you'll have the option of sitting inside or outside. I always sit outside because it's just a nicer cooler vibe. At times it can get a little noisy, but that's okay! The service is phenomenal, like some of the best service I've ever had. Our server was named Reda and took care of us. He was super nice and helped us pick things from the menu and has even prepared our hookah the second he sees us arrive to the restaurant! Some of the servers know us as soon as we sit down exactly what kind of Hookah we want and bring it within five minutes. Upon ordering entrees, they literally come out within 10 to 15 minutes, and appetizers in about 5 to 8 minutes. Can things get better than that?? The food is absolutely delicious, ambience is great. Servers are fantastic. I absolutely will be coming here a lot more often and I would recommend this to anybody who is looking for great Mediterranean food, great Hookah and just an overall fantastic experience.

The knafeh was amazing!! Definitely tastes homemade Tried the shawarma bowl too which was good, but the knafeh was well worth it. Their hummus also tastes very fresh.

Almaza was a whole VIBE! Such great good, free wifi and hookahs! I had the lamb and it was too much food for one person. Wonderful place to work remotely and amazing service. There is a parking lot on the backside of the restaurant that was pretty busy. I loved the lamb!!! I will definitely be back.

Best Food Best Service Go to spot when I am in Culver City!!! The staff treat you like family .

Went on a Friday around 4pm. Was able to find a spot in the lot. The atmosphere is pretty casual and there is hookah in the front. Food is pretty good, the babaganoush was really good, the hummus was okay. I had the lamb chops and they were more cooked than I like so remember to specify when you order. Service was pretty attentive.

The service was horrible the girl didn't know what she was doing she kept saying I'm new here ok is she stupid or just plain ignorant just take our orders I had to ask for the manager and he helped us that is so disappointing because that was my first and last time at this place I go elsewhere with my money they might just be racist.

Loved it! The hookah was great, the workers were so kind and constantly changed the coals to make sure we were enjoying our time. We got fries to share as well as milk teas. The teas were DELICIOUS!!! We sat outside and it was very nice. There were tvs playing the games and the music was 10/10. I would come again :)

Great Lebanese food and a regular weeknight takeout place. We love the mixed grill platter. The burger is hit or miss. Food tastes authentic. They have great hookah as well.

Great service and food. Our waiter, Reda was amazing and made our dining experience that much memorable. I'm writing this review after my 4th visit here this year and finally decided to give this place and Reda some recognition.

RESTROOM The ladies restroom did not have paper towels. It had this blower to dry one's hands. Those blowers are unsanitary because it sucks air from inside the restroom and blow into your hands. Still reading? Ok, here's the rest of the review. ATMOSPHERE The restaurant's atmosphere is traditional and clean. FOOD I ordered the Lamb Kofta (like a koobideh). It was a plate type but they did not offer hummus-- only rice and salad. The lamb serving was smaller than, say, Zankou's Lule Kabob. Also, the lamb did not taste like lamb, the same as most restaurants. SERVICE The service was courteous but slow. Maybe because they lack staff. So if you come here during a break from your work, it's not a good idea. PARKING Street only --- some metered, some not. Can be difficult but I was lucky. And my friend was too.

The Food and Service are Amazing. They make my Family feel like we're their Family and everything is always Fresh and Cooked to perfection. If I could change one thing it would be the Dining area needs to be rearranged or closed off and Ambience added and No Outdoor seating because its all taken up for Hookah which is one of their main attractions.

My Bookclub met up here recently and we had the best time. I had the falafel sandwich and my cousin had the seafood combination with salmon , shrimp, rice, and hummus. The food was INCREDIBLE. Even the rice was delicious! Our waiter was friendly and made us feel welcome. We sat out on the patio and smoked hookah. It was a little busy but the staff kept up with the demand. This was my first time here so I'll definitely return for the excellent food and experience!

Amazing food and ambiance! Their beef kabobs were so juicy and succulent, perfectly cooked to melt in your mouth. Their sweet creamy chicken was also a favorite amongst my family. Their hummus was also delicious, paired perfectly with the pita bread. I recommend you get a side of their garlic sauce with any of their meat dishes; you won't regret it!

Always delicious! The lentil soup is one of my favorites. Everyone is incredibly friendly! A great lunch spot too!

We were a party of 14 and the accommodates us without any issues on a Friday night. I had not been here in years & it was just as good as I remembered. The staff here is fantastic, very friendly. Our server was attentive & responsive. Our server was very friendly and on top of things. The food is great. Everyone enjoyed their meal. While we did not partake, they have hookah on the patio. Some of the smoke crept inside to where we were seated but it wasn't too bad.

Honestly I love this place but they are always closed on uber and Postmates even when it says that they open at 11am. Aside from that the food is amazing.

The food is really good, they have a great menu and it never disappoints. Very friendly and attentive staff. The ambiance is chill, very relaxing, and they have a great selection when it comes to hookah. Prices are fair for what you get and quality. I highly recommend checking out this spot. 5 Stars

Been going to Almaza for a few years now. They have really good food and the service is great. The hookah is a hit or miss, but good place to go.

I come here often, it's a hookah lounge outside and a regular dining area inside. The food is delicious and always consistent, whatever I get always hits the mark and the the pricing fits the portion. Other Mediterranean places I've gone to have a very high markup and the food does not reflect the price but this place makes the balance apparent. So apparent in fact that it has become a baseline for other Mediterranean places I go to. The staff knows me and treats me so well, and even before they knew me they still treated me and all others I bring so well. 10/10, will go back soon. It's open late too!

From beginning to end a 5 star experience For the following reasons: Parking was easy Service was excellent Atmosphere at night was well lit and TVs everywhere plus good music playing in the background Great Hookah prices and options Menu was fire Needless to say I'll be back... hope to see y'all there they stay open until 2am on weekdays.

I found this place while searching for kibbeh... and boy I got lucky. One of the better kibbehs in town. With my favorite hot sauce, I was in heaven. I need to go back and try their other dishes.

What a hidden gem! We came here for lunch and to smoke some hookah. The whole staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. The seating on the patio was also very nice. The food was perfect and met our standards as fellow Lebanese people. I will definitely be back!

Wow. This place is a gem. The beef kebobs were mouth watering tender. I chose the baba ganoush and hummus as sides and they were perfection. The Greek salad had all the right flavors and especially delicious if you add protein - like chicken kabobs to it. The service is good, food comes out fast. They have hookah outside but we sat inside to avoid the hookah. Great Lebanese food.

A friend and I decided to come here for lunch and hookah on a weekday and it was a great experience! We sat out on the patio, which was very nice and comfortable. I got the Greek salad and added salmon kabob to it and this made for a super filling meal (I even had leftovers for dinner). The salmon was delicious - tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked! And the salad was full of toppings - no skimping here. On to the hookah - we did a combination of mint and guava (highly recommend) and it was wonderful! Service was fast, friendly, and our overall experience was great. Come here for a relaxing, laid back lunch or dinner alone or with friends!

Review long overdue. I've been coming here for many years and it's one of my favorite spots for meeting up with friends, smoking hookah and having a chill time. Good service, good hookah, good food (extensive menu with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options), and they also have beer and wine.

Our server was very friendly. We tried the chicken kabob and I have to say, it was delicious. Most places overcook the chicken but the chef at Almaza perfected the recipe, very juicy and flavorful. It also comes with a delicious garlic paste. The outdoor seating was refreshing with a great tasting hookah.

Almaza is a hidden gem that someone introduced me to, and I'm so glad they did! It's low-key, super chill, and the perfect spot if you're looking for great food and a relaxed vibe. So much food and so worth the price!!! We were looking for a Mediterranean place in Culver City and Almaza popped up. We had no idea what a treat we were in for. Sadly, we weren't Hangry because the menu offered so many options. I would suggest going with a large group and passing some plates around. But alas, it was just me and my hubby--so we settled on one appetizer, one dinner, and one dessert. The spinach pie appetizer was good, but not the filo dough we were expecting and it needed more Spinach. However, the tzaziki sauce appeared homemade--and it was probably the BEST I have tasted in my life--so I gave them a pass on the so so Spinach pie. The Mixed Grill Schwarma did NOT disappoint and both the hummus and baba ghanouj had really creamy texture that really made both of them superb. Their Tahini sauce was also great, but they added a lemon garlic olive oil sauce that we both went a bit crazy over. Since we had to wait for the beef schwarma sandwich and fries our son wanted, we ordered their Knafeh--warmed sweet cheese with toasted coconut, honey and pistachio bits on top. It was addictive. By the way, including our son's takeout order, the bill came to $55.00. With tip, we were under $70. Almaza was amazing and I am sure we will be back!!!

Very good food! I love lemon chicken, chicken kofta, and beef kofta kabob. Hummus is yummy and refreshing side. I usually get rice or salad. I also love the knafeh as dessert. Good vibes with hookahs, music and TVs. The service is always great with Reda!

I only have ordered take out and every single time I get the Salmon, salad and humus. The salmon is always cooked to perfection, the humus tastes exactly how it is suppose to taste and the pita bread was decent but I definitely feel like they could give a few more pieces, the salad was fresh and a perfect side edition.

It's such a chill place, good for a group but I could have a good time alone... Shawerma cheese fries were SO GOOD! Parking was great for a Saturday night, and even though it got busy, it didn't feel congested inside.

I love Almaza. The food is always amazing and they always get it right. I usually order take out but just had dinner in last week and it was amazing. I liked it. The service was great. We sat out on the patio where everyone else was smoking hookah and it added a nice atmosphere. The smell of the tobacco was cool and watching people smoke was cool My boyfriend and I got the chicken kabobs, my friend got the lamb and very few left overs were taken home. I highly recommend this to everyone! They only have beer and wine, but the beer was good!

Let me start by saying the service is excellent! My fiancé is allergic to tomatoes and they were able to fix my order and give me free pastries for the inconvenience. The food is so delicious! We love it here. Also, I love the ambiance, especially the people and hookah. I can't remember his name, he had dark facial hair and dark hair, he might have been a manager or one of the owners? Not sure but he took care of us, very nice gentleman.

First time here today for lunch and it was so good! I'm upset at myself for not trying this place sooner. The food was tasty. Huge portions and a nice vibe inside! I ordered the creamy spicy chicken plate. Came with your choice of 2 sides. I chose hummus and salad. Both were delicious. I also ordered a babaganoush starter with pita. So delicious and they use a very flavorful olive oil that I amazing. Definitely coming back more often!

This restaurant is a local hang out for us. The food is amazing, the hookah is amazing, and it's a great spot to chill. We have the lamb shanks, and the salmon almost every time we go because they do not disappoint. Ever. We will definitely be back.

The food here is delicious. I really enjoyed my beef kafta kabob and the rice was very flavorful. Add the chipotle hummus and pita bread and each bite was a flavor explosion. My fiancé got the chicken shawarma with garlic spread and that was also very tasty. Portion sizes are large for the price. Service here is the best, everyone was very kind and we felt very taken care of. Will def come back again.
