"The Flatiron location of Almond, a restaurant serving crowd-favorite charcuterie platters, salads, and short ribs, is no more. According to the New York Times, restaurant co-owner Eric Lemonides attributed the closure to a downturn in midday foot traffic during the pandemic. Locations in Bridgehampton, New York, and Palm Beach, Florida, remain in business." - Emma Orlow

Delicious food, excellent service. Each selection we had for brunch was perfectly seasoned. The steak was tender with a salsa verde sauce that complemented without overtaking. We also had the wild mushroom & goat cheese omelette, which was amazing.

Google
You know you're in Palm Beach when the bar has orange wallpaper with zebras ;) I love the vibe here! We stopped in for date night drinks and to share a cheeseburger. The bar was surprisingly empty for a Friday night. Not sure why, but other restaurants on the same street were all much busier. It is pricey here ($26 for a cheeseburger with fries) but that's typical for anything you order on the island so no complaints.

Sent here by the Breakers staff. The staff here was very friendly. We very much enjoyed both dishes, quite possibly our favorite meal during our week long trip in Palm Beach. Great atmosphere. If you come here on Thursday..be sure to do the ramen special.

Google
Fresh, delicious and out of this world good! Amazing yogurt parfait and best scramble eggs we ever had. The service was amazing too!

Google
Very rude host or manager.. the black guy who had an attitude when I'm asking and looking at the menu. I won't eat here if the restaurant have the staff like this. Going to Buccan is better and nicer staff.

Google
Exemplary service and delicious food in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Felt VERY comfortable with their Covid guidelines (personal sanitizer spray at every table, proper distancing, etc.). Our server was very kind, and we had a lovely chat with the restaurant director, Bismark. We made reservations for next weekend before the meal was over. Do not skip this spot!

Google
Nice, fancy, upscale restaurant. It is very similar to the one which closed down in NYC, but unfortunately the food, portions, and even flavor was better in the NYC Almond. Don’t get me wrong, the food here is good too, just no where near as good as the one in NYC. (We would know, we lived across the street from NYC Almond and came there ~2 times per week for several years.)

Google
Dined here because it looked nice and wasn't far from our hotel, 5 minute walk from The Breakers. Nice service and ambience and a lot of vegetarian options which is what this place is aparently known for. My coworker has the Lamb and Beef sausage Cavetelli, which was creamy bc ricotta was apparently mixed in with the homemade pasta. I had the Moules Frites which was a very generous portion of mussels in a flavorful white wine, garlic broth, served with 2 thick pieces of toast and a huge side of frites. Did manage to eat all the mussels but definitely not the frites or I would have been too full. Not a giant menu but certainly a lot of variety. Everything on the other diners' tables looked delicious as well!

Yelp
This review is for Happy Hour at Almond. The menu is very limited at that time. After parking for free in a space that allows one hour, I went in to a nearly empty bar. This was a Monday at around 3:45, so that's not surprising. Rachel my bartender was very friendly and helpful with answering my questions. I had a Bridgehampton Spritz, just a bit different than my go-to Aperol Spritz. Loved it, and they cost $8 at happy hour. Food items are limited on the menu for late afternoons, but I had to try the Mac & Cheese. It was delicious, and I put half in a to-go box before I could finish it. I also tried the Brussels Caesar, and it's great. Nice idea. I noticed the various French fry options on the dinner menu, and so I assumed they must be pretty good. I got an order of plain fries (would love to try the others at a later time), and they are hand cut and very good! They aren't particularly crispy, but I love them the exact way they came out. I took some home and they reheated beautifully. I met several other people who came into the bar, and I had a really fun time. I did have to move my car to a different space after one hour, but that was easy and quick. I will definitely go back. Friendly staff, delicious food and drinks, and fantastic music! I got lucky as they were playing 80s on my visit, but the music changes daily I was told. I'm so glad I went in! Oh -- the music was SO up my alley. That clinched it. It was 80s stuff, although the manager says it changes daily. I got lucky! It's pretty, the employees were all kind and helpful, and the few items I did try couldn't have tasted better. I'll sure be back!

Yelp
The food, service, and entire dining experience was fantastic. We were there for brunch and sat outdoors. Both the outdoor and indoor seating were very pleasant and relaxing. I had the Chicken Waldorf Salad Sandwich. The dressing and seasoning made it the best I have ever had. The toasted whole grain bread was fantastic. Every dish at our table looked incredible and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. We will definitely return to work our way through this great menu.

Yelp
I've wanted to try Almond for a long time and am glad I finally did! They have a very unique menu and I love how they source from local farms. They carry local wild mushrooms and grass-fed beef... Yes please! We tried the Flavor Palm Beach menu (only available in September) & had the Brussel Sprouts Hot & Cold (so good) + banana leaf mahi + dark chocolate gelato. We also had the gratitude shrooms, kimchi fries, and halal cart lamb shoulder. Although it was insanely rich, the lamb was probably our favorite dish! The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because service was a little slow. There were multiple times when we were wondering where our waiter went, and the restaurant was not busy at all. It may have just been an off night though. I can see myself coming back!

Janine A.

Yelp
If you're in the mood for a sweet treat, go to Almond in Palm Beach and order the cookie platter...so so good. Fast and friendly service. Great location. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Rebecca M.

Yelp
Sitting outside was lovely, and our service was great. The food was fresh, and very good. I do wish that the portions were a bit larger, but I would certainly come back here.

Christina L.

Yelp
I've liked everything I've tried at Almond the few times I've been. The dishes are always inventive and flavorful. This time I had the korean short rib with kimchi which was wonderful. Would also recommend the sticky toffee cake for dessert. Love the decor, not too loud. Good prompt service, food comes out hot.

Juan S.

Yelp
What a spread they put out bottomless mimosas and food is good!!!! Also good at night because they do different things sometimes DJ Chuck is playing and it has great energy

Joseph L.

Yelp
Looking for something different that will keep your tastebuds smiling.... I tasted the CITRUS POACHED SWORDFISH and was so amazed that it was half gone before I could take the photo. What an incredible flavor experience I could have never imagined. I do not write many reviews but this place is amazing. Their biscuits tasted like heaven as well. My wife had the VIETNAMESE CHICKEN SALAD which was also amazing. Wish I lived near this place.

Michael R.

Yelp
This was the first restaurant I came to, and honestly it was the best! They have a great Happy Hour, and the people there are so friendly! I love Palm Beach, but people there can be a little stuffy. Not here! It's fun, casual, and relatively affordable (for Palm Beach). Highly recommend!

Yelp
Very good! Thankfully we were able to grab a resi during Passover/Easter weekend to celebrate my birthday. We had a great evening and the staff couldn't have been nicer. I absolutely loved the Fig'd up mixed Tequilla cocktail and the food was overall really good. We got a mix of items and shared most of them!! For starters the Brussels sprouts (Caesar salad style) so delish and so were the mussels!! (A must order!!) We then tried the burger, skirt steak and matzah ball soup/brisket (Passover special) everything was good!! My burger a little over cooked but the fries made up for it. We also tried the sticky toffee cake- yum!!! I'd absolutely go back, I loved the ambience too!

Jacob T.

Yelp
Great place for lunch. Nice and quite making it more intimate. Their mahi-mahi fish tacos are delicious! A must try. Great service and friendly staff. Love this place.

Theresa L.

Yelp
Amazing!!! Beautiful restaurant, outdoor indoor seating. We came for brunch and decided to sit outside. Service was exceptional. First comes with little scones with butter and jelly. I got the duck hash, wow it was so delicious!!! Everyone else enjoyed their food also. The fruit salad is the nicest fruit salad I have seen and should of taken a picture. Can't wait to return for dinner!!! Or brunch again!!

Jean Marie C.

Yelp
Great dinner with an array or items on the menu. Entrees were generous and delicious. Service was great. We loved the swordfish special, Korean ribs and Mac n cheese. Excellent oysters too!

Mary P.

Yelp
Cute and rustic. A quaint spot with good food. could use a bigger more expansive menu.

LG G.

Yelp
The food and service are excellent at Almond. The Brussels Caesar and the Mac and Cheese are favorites. Plus the best Bloody Mary in Palm Beach. On Saturday and Sunday they have a great brunch menu. The seating outdoors is lovely and the decor inside is really fun so both options are great.

Brendon B.

Yelp
I can always tell how a meal is going to be by the first sip on my martini and how fresh the blue cheese olives are. Almond did not disappoint! Fresh blue cheese olives! The décor I would describe as warm and inviting. A palm beach, French, with a country twist. We had a couple appetizers the fish dip was good. Had the mahi for dinner and was good. The Brussel sprouts were very good! The staff was very well trained and knowledgeable. Overall a great experience. We will be back.

Yelp
Walking into this place I was not sure what the identity was. Is it italian, asian, american? Not sure. We were staying down the street and were originally going to henry's but they were too packed so we came here. This place is not affiliated with breakers unlike breakers fyi. Seemed like the go to was the ricotta cavatelli. It was pretty good and was just the right portion to be full without being bloated. The cavatelli wasn't as al dente as I like but it wasn't bad. The swordfish yakatori was ok but the fish was a little dry. The flavors were all over the place. Again back to the identity of the place. The sourdough bread to start was good though so that is always a good start to the meal. It was pretty empty when we came so I wish them the best. The food was good. The aesthetic was straightforward and service spot on. Nothing really stuck out to me about this place. Not dying to go back but it is a solid 3-3.5 star place.

G L.

Yelp
Didnt realize the french toast would be drenched in what appears to be carmel. I prefer syrup. The granola was pretty dry, didnt taste much honey. $50 with tip, seems pretty expensive

Jc G.

Yelp
Eat here if you like boring food. The blandest sandwich I've ever had. Service is good and if you like food that's just ok. This is your spot.

Doug A.

Yelp
Surprisingly good. We ate outside and everything was very good. Service was excellent. I had asparagas topped with an egg then a hamburger.

Gabriella R.

Yelp
The food was great. On point with the flavors, and beautiful presentation. The service was a little funny. We had 3 waiters total, they kinda switched around a lot. Which maybe they do for strategy, better hospitality, and customer service? but I can definitely see what some reviews were saying when they talk about needing to kick it up a notch. Worth the visit for the food, they definitely have a great menu. Oh! Also got the almond plateau royale, which includes everything listed on the raw bar menu. So I'm really sorry, but we ate it so fast I didn't snap a pic, but the seafood platters are two tierd, the top one being the curried muscles and the second one being the oysters and little necks. The lobster ceviche (season?) was so freakin good, I'd recommend this on its own if you just want one thing from the raw bar. Good presentation on the fish dip, but I was fine tasting it once.

Yelp
This place was so freaking good, service was incredible, food was outstanding! Can't wait to come back

Emily P.

Yelp
we were walking around WPB and stumbled upon this place - and so glad we did. got served drinks and food right away and everything was super delicious - including the views!! so nice to sit outside in 70° in january go here!!!

Sophia G.

Yelp
I have said it One &Ill keep giving A 5 star review! Best service hands down! Best food it is always consistent and delicious! From Local farm to to table! I am always taking a breath taking ride down the coast to vist my favorite spot! Est drinks!

Marianna P.

Yelp
Loved this spot! The happy hour was great. We ended up staying for dinner as well. The restaurant was so incredibly accommodating. There are ceiling fans outside so you're not stuck in the heat. We may have ordered one too many spicy margaritas because they were so delicious. The special for the evening blew us away. It was a shrimp scampi with saffron cauliflower rice. Not only was it packed with flavor, but it was all cooked perfectly. It's really hard to do cauliflower rice right and they nailed it! Definitely coming back.

Kevin H.

Yelp
Food was excellent and atmosphere was good as well. This is a place that will not disappoint. We love going to this place when in Palm Beach.

Rachel S.

Yelp
Do not enter! Typical palm beach tourist trap. Cute decor, decent location, high prices. The food is average at best, but many dishes are inedible. The waitstaff also leaves something to be desired: the waitress came over to clean off our table, and she just swept a piece of goat cheese onto the floor that my date stepped in on his way out. Even if this place were half off, I would still say it is overpriced and not worth it.

Jill B.

Yelp
Great service and delicious food. Loved the outdoor seating. Chicken salad sandwich was very tasty. The tacos of the day were tilefish on homemade tortillas. Best tacos I've ever had. Date cake was delicious, too.

Brad S.

Yelp
The place was packed and for good reason. The food was excellent and so was the service. Everyone's meals were great but we all agreed the Mac and Cheese was really the best any of us have ever had.

Jamil W.

Yelp
Almond @ Palm Beach! For the ambience to the service, this spot was on point. My family and I really enjoyed the creative dishes while also enjoying their signature drinks! Viola! The dishes we all had were 10/10. From the Seafood Options to the Dry Rubbed steak the food was impeccable. Also, quick tip if you can, dine Al Fresco! It's the perfect vibe for a great meal!

Michelle B.

Yelp
This is such a cool spot! The menu offers a variety of options - I highly recommend the Kimchi Rice, the Fish Tacos and and Lettuce Wraps!

Ben C.

Yelp
I've eaten at Almond roughly ten times. It's consistently delicious with imaginative use of local ingredients. The menu changes often enough to make it interesting. It's better cooking than Cafe L'Europe (a lower bar since they reopened). I find the service to be exceptional- everyone is knowledgeable about their food. For example, the tamales (brunch) are the beast I've had, as is the house cooked Pastrami. Had the special last night (Wednesday is kabob night) and not only delicious, but avoided all of the usual kabob failures - tender, not dried out, not over salted or over sauced. Wine by the bottle was half price. One thing I've noticed, they're really good at subtly handling asshats. I've seen two tables of rude people not able to exercise their entitlement. It's a great thing to see it done well.

Christina C.

Yelp
It was my first visit here. My food was delicious! I had the house made cavatelli. It contains veal & pork sausage. Great flavor! My espresso martini was good and so was the service. Nice atmosphere and love the location on Palm Beach Island. Looking forward to trying more things from their menu!

Aaron S.

Yelp
Had a Father's Day brunch here last year. Excellent vibe. Fun atmosphere, good food and excellent service. Have repeated many times and it's always good. A go to for sure when on the island.

Daniel S.

Yelp
Restaurant was closed due to Covid and slow season in Florida, I was there second night after they opened. Staff and management was very friendly and accommodating, food was great and prices fair for the location. My only comment would be that menu selections could have little more variety, however the raw seafood was exceptional

Judy G.

Yelp
The food is outstanding and perfectly prepared. The wait staff is professional both attentive and friendly. I had lobster spaghetti, my husband had mussels which was a very generous portion. We shared an appetizer of lamb meatballs in red sauce. We each had sorbet (mango, raspberry) with a scoop of vanilla. Our friends had crabcakes and shared a fig cake with vanilla and caramel sauce. We all enjoyed our choices. We had two comments that brought the rating down a notch: 1. The selections are very limited. If you have a lot of foods you won't eat, better to check ahead to make sure they have something for you: 2. The dinner was a little pricey given the amount of food presented. Knowing what to avoid or change, we would probably return, maybe to share the mussels and an appetizer.

Chris T.

Yelp
Great, fresh food and nice service on the patio outside. BALT and Eggs Benedict with salmon recommended.

Amber B.

Yelp
Delicious food, the almond never disappoints. Nice social atmosphere. Professional staff and good service.

Allyson B.

Yelp
Can't say enough good things. Absolutely delicious. They did a great job of bringing NYC's Almond to Palm Beach. Lots of indoor and outdoor dining! See what I ate here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CIn2kd1hK11/

Yelp
Went today for a happy hour meal and cocktails .. lovely time and great food/drinks, however the waiter spilled an entire glass of wine on me (it happpens) shirt, shorts and shoes were drenched.. waiter apologized up and down.. but when the bill came, I was surprised that no accommodation was made, we even had to raid the next table for replacement napkins and cutlery.. I will definitely go back, but next time a glass of wine is spilled I'll speak to the manager..

Walter C.

Yelp
I wanted so bad for this place to be 5 stars.. it's Breakers/Island prices are expected from a concept developed in the Hampton's but come on.. easy 100+ a head for app/entree/dessert and a cocktail. No problem, just earn it.. The decor is modern but nothing chic or unique or noteworthy like wow The bar is wide, our bartender could barely place the linen down in front of us and the bar top takes on water rings making it look "used" very quickly after a few guests come and go. The food is good. Escargot was classic, buttery and delicious. Roasted chicken was four seasons prices but tasted like 15$ Whole Foods roasted bird. Service was a mess. It's new so I give them a pass but the bartenders need some personality! We ordered two items to go for our kids and when I got home realized one was forgotten. Did not bother to call, again they are new. I look forward to seeing what direction this establishment goes heading into spring/Summer.

Austin H.

Yelp
Fantastic dinner at the new Palm Beach location of The Almond last night! The food is delicious, the space is gorgeous, and the atmosphere is energetic...Our waitress could not have been more friendly, attentive and accommodating, and really went above and beyond to make our friend's birthday celebrating festive and fun. HIGHLY recommended...We will definitely be back!

Giselle V.

Yelp
The food here was delicious! The service was 5 stars. I came here for happy hour and the options were very good. My mother had the mahi-mahi and it was extremely good. The food has a very fresh clean taste. I recommend everyone stop by this place and give it a try.

Jim G.

Yelp
The burger was a hockey puck, I live and eat in Palm Bch daily and it's sad. How this place needs a new direction. The burger came with fries and within 30 minutes they were hard as rocks. I want all places to succeed, but unless they change fast, it will just be a slow count down to the end.

Chris M.

Yelp
I'd really like to like this place. Interesting decor, interesting menu, but overall each dish was just too complicated, too many competing flavors and elements to it. Desserts were just awful.

Patrick D.

Yelp
Disappoints once again. Like it's sister restaurant in Bridgehampton NY, the food continues to disappoint as well as the service. With the addition of real restaurants in Palm Beach like Le Bilboquet, La Goulue, Sant Ambroeus & Lola there is just no reason to visit Almond with it's mediocre food and 5 star prices. I rated it two stars as opposed to one, as the location is the only thing it has going for it. A shame to waste such a great location on such a bad place.

Greg C.

Yelp
Wasn't going to Yelp, but I can't forget abut the dry-aged N.Y.strip (prepared au poivre) which I had last week at Almond. Was maybe the best steak I ever ate (and . . .old guy here.) Dry aging really makes for a more concentrated steak flavor & I think is worth the extra money. The Brussels sprouts salad was super, as was the toffee cake dessert. My dinner guest (& birthday girl) enjoyed her Mahi Mahi. The place has a clean bistro-like appearance (some subway tiles.) Service was excellent, & they had a small but good wine by the glass list. My Route Stock cab was delish, and their "well" gin- Ford- was great, tasting like the more expensive Tanqueray. The prices? It's Palm Beach dining. Whataya gonna do? ! !

Sharon W.

Yelp
Upscale and a different type of menu which actually works. Everything from house made cavatelli to truffle Mac & Cheese. We started with the cheese board which was quite good. I opted for the rice & avocado bowl (with egg on top) which as unusual as it seemed it was very good. My husband had the burger and he said it was good. For dessert we shared the cookie platter which I thought was just okay and wished we ordered the WARM STICKY TOFFEE DATE CAKE. Than when someone at the table ordered it and was saying how good it was, I know hubby made the wrong dessert decision. All in all, waitstaff was excellent and very attentive. We sat outside and enjoyed watching people walk by as we cocktailed and dined.

Tracey L.

Yelp
So very underwhelmed with this restaurant. Service absolutely sucked. Considering it was a Saturday night and the place was not busy, the waitress was slower than a sloth on speed! Food was eh at best. Not impressed in any way! My suggestion- skip this place....
