This was our first time staying here for a girls “out of office” trip and we couldn’t have picked a better place! The rooms were cute and cozy, very clean hotel and nice atmosphere but what really made the trip special was Ebony at the bar. I normally don’t write reviews but if you go here you won’t regret asking for her! She wasn’t just serving drinks she created an experience for us. Her custom cocktails were amazing and she took such great care of us with her bubbly, sweet personality. We actually came back three nights in a row just to see her because she made everything so much fun for us. She even took our photos! Ebony just goes above and beyond. Thanks to her, I’ve officially found my new favorite hotel! The only thing that would make this place perfect is a better menu, it was rather odd and not very appealing but there’s plenty of food within walking distance. Thanks Aloft! I’ll be back!

We always love staying at the Aloft, and this time was no exception. The room was super clean, the social area very lively and the amenities were wonderful! The best part was the exceptional service by Shyvonne at the front desk. She made check in easy and answered all of our questions with enthusiasm and a smile!!

The lobby and amenities outside of the room are lovely and the added security of swipping your room card to use the elevator adds much comfort since the elevator is accessible from a side door into the building. We arrived an hr before check in and checking to see if the room was ready early was not an option. This is totally a privilege if they allow early access to your room and they don't. Bigger comfort issues include the "refrigerator" that maintenance explained is not a refrigerator but a cooler and isn't meant to keep food at refrigerator temps. The shower is open to the entire room, so I can't shower while my husband sleeps or I'll wake him. The toilet is in a "private" space separated from the main room by a sliding door which you can hear everything. The "vents" in the toilet room and shower are just open slats without power. So not only does your roommate get to hear everything but they get to smell everything.

My stay at Aloft at the Battery was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect, the rooms are clean and modern, and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming. The staff was fantastic – friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything I needed. Everything about the experience made my trip so much better. I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m in town!

Google
The Battery in Atlanta. Relaxed atmosphere. Delicious cheeseburger in the bar area. The bartender Ebony was fantastic. She knows the bar business very well and she was awesome with interacting with the guests. 5 out of 5 stars for Ebony. I look forward to visiting there next time I am staying in Atlanta.

Google
I took a quick family trip to Atlanta and stayed at the Aloft. I like the Aloft. I've stayed at several locations and never had a bad experience until now. First, the staff was great, polite, and very helpful. Now, one thing I have never had an issue with at other Aloft locations is cleanliness. The location needs some work ASAP from the elevator, main lobby, and rooms. The bathroom in my room was horrible. Many things were falling apart and loose. The shower curtain was not long enough for the shower, so water was getting on the floor, and there was nothing we could do about it. I did not enjoy my stay here. There are other hotels in the area. I would look there first

I travel frequently as an Ambassador member and have experienced many different Marriott properties and teams. The staff at Aloft Battery Park truly stand out and make this property worth a stay on its own. Their service, hospitality, and attention to detail made our weekend getaway memorable and far from “one and done.” On top of the convenience of being steps from the Battery, the genuine care and professionalism of this team make the hotel shine. I’m grateful for everything they did to make our short visit such a great experience, and I look forward to returning with my family.

Google
I stayed here with my fiancé for my birthday weekend, and unfortunately, the service did not meet expectations. I love the location and convenience however I take customer service very serious. The woman at the front desk, with a fuller build, whose name I believe was Shaday, was extremely rude and seemed uninterested in helping guests. When I asked to speak with the manager, she claimed to be the manager herself which was very disappointing. Based on this experience, I will not be returning or recommending others to stay here.

Yelp
Super cool lobby area equipped with pool table, live music, Retro style couches, games such as Jenga, and a bar. Definitely a relaxed atmosphere to chill. The hotel rooms are fairly small but have a unique design. Parking is a little tricky. You need to park on the 4th level to walk into the lobby. Otherwise you will have to go up the elevator. Overall, it is a solid hotel for crashing to go to a Braves game.

Yelp
Stayed here from March 11, checked out today. Our company purchased about a dozen rooms. Thought it was gonna be a great experience as the check in gal was wonderful! It was her first day, and she was very sweet. The room layout is small and very weird. No hot water whole two days so you'll have a 5 min lukewarm shower. The blinding light in the bathroom you can't shut off keeps the whole room Lit all night, bring an eye mask. Air conditioner works well but it's noisey. Bed was comfy. The mirror is directly across from your shower, so hope you are like American psycho and like watching yourself! Who designed this place??? Here's where it goes from a three star review to one. I always keep the do not disturb on because I'm only travelling for two days and don't need room service. After being in a meeting for nine hours all day, I come back and find my room door as well as three others propped completely open with all our personal belongings right there for anybody to walk by and take I was charging my Apple Watch and didn't appreciate them moving my clothes. This also happened to 2 of my co workers who were very upset. I immediately kicked the door stand out from my door and put the protection lock on while I was in the shower. They still tried to come in. I hurried and got dressed opened the door and asked what they wanted and they said they had to come in and clean the carpets no notice no anything. Then the couch and carpets were soaked all night. Wet feet sloshing on hardwood floor. Very hazardous! Good thing I had house sandals I called downstairs to talk to the manager. They gave me voicemail and he never called me back. Someone named Jeffrey. They said there were notices. Nope, none of us got any such thing! I'll attach the note in the elevator which who would touch it? They also had a homeless person in the bottom lobby when I left at 6;15 am. Skip this place! Much better choices in the battery to stay. My coworker warned me about this place as she had been before. No excuse to leave rooms open with no one around for anyone to come help themselves, or move your personal stuff. If your going to clean carpets do it to vacant rooms! I'm a rewards member but won't be coming here again!!!

Yelp
I stayed at Aloft for one night to attend an Atlanta Braves baseball game. The only thing that was good about this hotel is the location. It's very close to the stadium and The Battery offers a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops. To start with they charge $30 to Park overnight. Check In was easy with a friendly man at the desk. The lobby is worn and seating in the bar area is dirty. The molding is missing from some walls. The room was very small with an odd arrangement. The multi color rug in the room was dirty, stained and smelled of dog urine. The toilet in the bathroom looks like it was installed for a toddler. Talk about low!! The bed was soft. I was up and out of there the next morning as soon as the sun came up. I would not stay there again or recommend it until they upgrade/remodel.

Yelp
Aloft is at the top of my list for hotels when I am on vacation. I love the decor of the lobbies at Aloft. Most usually have a cool bar and a pool table. The rooms are clean and have enough space for one or two people. Just know if you travel heavy or have the family in tow don't expect a closet with hangers or drawers to put clothes in because Alofts don't have either in their rooms. The shower and toilet are in seperate areas so that is a plus. Parking is $30/day for hotel guests. Otherwise it is $50/day. The garage is great and there is a connecting door from the 3rd floor of the garage to the hotel lobby on the 3rd floor. Great area too being at The Battery as there are many shops and a few restaurants right outside of the hotel leading up to the Braves stadium! The one area that was lacking at this property was the customer service. From the overnight girl to the front desk manager both were very hesitant to help me when I asked for assistance with my reservation. I wanted to leave one day earlier due to having to work on Sunday so I asked them to check me out Saturday instead of Sunday. They said they don't have the ability to make any changes to my reservation at the hotel. Only after I called Marriott were they somehow able to make the change on their end. I have worked at the front desk of many hotels for over 23 years so I am aware of what front desk can do or not. There was one employee there at the front desk that stood out. She was very kind, helpful, and always smiling. She was working the 7am-3pm shift when I checked out.

Yelp
Awesome hotel Awesome location Friendly staff Rooms are great and business friendly Lobby is great for meeting too

Yelp
Stayed for a work trip (M-F). The staff was friendly and helpful with what they could do. The room is set up nice and it appeared clean. However. The room had a bad musty smell (which SCREAMS a mold problem), the climate control for the room was a constant battle between freezing cold and muggy... it's MARCH, this should not be an issue. The AC unit in my room sounded like it was trying to forcibly remove itself from the wall. The bed linens are scratchy and also smell bad. Scratchy towels are a given in hotels. The shower is nice with good pressure and temperature BUT the sink the water was always water, there's something creepy about brushing your teeth with warm water. And get bottled water because the tap is not drinkable, even restaurant water tastes wretched.

Yelp
Filthy youth hostile with stains all over the lobby and a caustic air freshener is pumped throughout the building resulting in a Jean Nate meets lighter fluid assault on the senses. On the plus side, our cheaply appointed room (IKEA meets the Partridge Family) was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location in the Battery is fantastic as you will need a walk in the fresh air after escaping the lobby.

Yelp
Great location and hotel. Just don't like the doorless bathrooms. I don't get it. Other than that it's a great place to stay.

Yelp
Customer service has been incredibly poor. I booked a room but had to cancel due to work travel changes. I am a long term lifetime Marriott member and the person that "helped me" told me a refund was not possible and the cancellation policy was in the email I received, however that was not true, I sent her the email and no cancel policy or link to that policy was listed. She than told me I should have got another email, I told her I did not get any other email, her response was not her problem. I escalated the issue to Marriott Platinum customer service number and was told the Manager at the hotel would respond to me via email. The manager has never sent me any emails after over a month , 5 calls to customer service and being told by each customer service person the manager would be in contact. Still no response and no resolution to the issue. I will never stay at the aloft ever again based on this experience and Marriott is risking losing a lifetime member that spends 100+ nights a year with them. Never in over 10 years of staying at Marriott have I ever had an issue with the service until hotel.

Yelp
It's a great and unique hotel!! I like how secure it is. Like you can't even get to your room floor or park without your room key! Like you need to take the elevator to get to the front desk when you first get there. I love that. Like I feel very safe and secure. It's also SUPER COOL as far as the interior goes! Like very modern. Very sleek! The price was a bit expensive, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. First time staying here, but not the last :]

Yelp
I LOVE the Aloft Battery Hotel. I've been staying at this hotel since 2022. I travel to this hotel for work and leisure when I'm in the Atlanta area. The staff is amazing and the rooms are always very clean. This has become my go to hotel. They also host a networking event Simply Connect every second Thursday of each month which is a lot of fun! Each room has a speaker in it and it literally never bothers other guests. Also the view from each room is amazing. I love it a lot and management always make sure you are accommodated 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
I stay at the Aloft each month for business and my experience has always been amazing. I had to leave a review because i always tell the staff they are doing an amazing job from the bar to housekeeping! I felt it should be publicized and here I am! Thanks guys!!!!

Kyle C.

Yelp
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! The man who checked us in (AJ) was not dressed professionally for one . Two HIS PANTS WERE SAGGING !!!!!!! Like really?! At a Luxury hotel this is how you have your front desk agents dressing? When we get to the desk I have to say excuse me because he is paying no attention at all . When I said excuse me his response was "what" .... In a very tense and irritated tone. During the check in process he did not explain nothing . Not the hours of the bar or how the WiFi and parking worked NOTHING. Basically just set the keys on the desk and told us a room number . As my wife and I are walking away he states " those are really nice leggings" TO MY WIFE! I have never experienced such horrible and disrespectful service. When I asked for a managers card or email he told the manager won't be back for three weeks . we definitely will not be back!

Yelp
Very conveniently located close to the stadium and also the arena . Here in town for a concert and the venue is a 5 minute walk . It was perfect !

Yelp
I thought this hotel was decent. In reading some of the other reviews, I think some may not be familiar with the Aloft concept. The room was clean and welcoming. Yes, its small, but that's their style. I had a comfortable bed, a small table and seating area, and ample bathroom space. The décor was modern and the room was bright. The halls were well lit and clean and the hotel is in the bustling battery right across from the Brave's stadium surrounded by ample shops and dining options. It's an extremely walkable area. The parking garage was easy to access and clean for a parking deck. Parking is an additional $25 per night. The staff was welcoming and friendly and the check-in/out process was easy. I will absolutely visit this hotel again next time I am in the area.

Yelp
Jeff Walker is the sole reason for this 1 star review. We ran into an incident where we were falsely charged for smoking in the hotel room. As a Titanium member, it is extremely bold to accuse me of something so inappropriate after pouring thousands of dollars into my stays over the years. After asking for evidence, he refused to email it, and suggested I take this picture of the "evidence" he acquired from the room. I have no idea what part of the room this could have been as this looks like cracked wood and the room I was in was very nice. He would not allow me to see the time stamp nor the date of which it was taken and continued to shout "3:15!" I am questioning Marriotts professionalism at this point. This is all while I am on the phone with corporate and they document the exchange. An older man who witnessed his behavior walked by me and said "I apologize you have to go through this" as he walked to the elevator. The young women at the front desk showed way more professionalism than her superior. The hotel was beautiful, and I hope I can stay there again when the general manager is removed.

Yelp
This hotel puts all the other outrageously expensive hotels to shame. I loved how modern everything was and very clean. The customer service of some were not the best but I definitely didn't let that ruin the rating of the room and the facilities they have. I definitely recommend this hotel it's right by the Braves stadium and close enough for you to catch an Uber to Buckhead and back. Excuse the photos we were leaving when I took these lol just wanted to show how modern the rooms were
google avatar

Yelp
This place smells of vomit and regret. The elevators covered in spilled drinks and drunks. A water pipe burst Friday night at 1 am and fire alarms went off inside the room for hours asking you to exit the building not using the elevators. After all of us stood out side trying to figure out what's happening. I had to walk through nasty ass water three floors to get to my car. When I asked for a refund they refused and said we don't do that. I was told to go back to my room and if I want to complain come back Monday . First time and last time at this place. Marriott should be ashamed of this location.

Yelp
Super convenient if you are attending an event at the Battery or wanting to drink and dine there without worrying about having to drive afterwards. Parking is attached to the hotel, for a $25 charge. Be sure to park on the yellow parking areas. The rooms are small but the view wasn't bad. Plus it had a nice little sitting area with a table inside the room. The king size room does not have a door to the bathroom which was kinda different. Also there wasn't a fan/vent in the toilet (there is a door though). Comes with a mini fridge which was nice. The Bluetooth speaker unfortunately wouldn't connect to my iPhone. The shampoo and conditioner fell off inside middle of the night which scared the crap out of me. I was surprised at how quiet it was in the room given how busy it was. There is breakfast available. Also a gym on the lobby floor. Plus a bar that opens at 4pm (I believe). Overall I enjoyed my staycation there.
google avatar

Matthew G.

Yelp
This is a terrible hotel for business travelers: - No hangers in the room to hang dress shirts/pants. - No dresser - No desk and chair; instead a corner chair and small table. - Very poor lighting including no overhead lighting. - Breakfast was poorly run and disorganized. I've stayed in a few other Aloft hotels and they aren't ideal for business travelers. This one is particularly ill-suited for business travelers though.
google avatar

Cameron G.

Yelp
Location is decent if you like being able to walk to the braves stadium and if you don't like sleeping. It's loud and things are also way over priced. Be aware they charge extra fees that are not necessarily "hidden" but they sure aren't letting you know immediately.
google avatar

Beau S.

Yelp
I have stayed at different Aloft Marriott properties so I knew that size was efficient spacing is part of the theme. So yes it is small! What don't understand for a new hotel is how the bed and shower looks directly into the apartments across the street so, you really can't keep your window open. Also the walls are super thin and you can hear everything in the hallway. It really feels like an old college dorm. It located in the Battery which is nice for baseball games.

Niyani C.

Yelp
I recently stayed at the ALOFT with my husband and toddler. I must say the convenience of this hotel is great, the warm welcoming staff is a major bonus as well. I love the location, I will absolutely return and recommend to friends and family when in the area :)
google avatar

Cj C.

Yelp
I am giving this review five stars, because it was truly a five-star experience. From the hotel's cleanliness and aesthetics, to my amazing suite which I loved, and my amazing views, this was no doubt, a great choice. However the greatness doesn't stop there. The amazing and warm and friendly greeting I received from Amy who was so helpful and knowledgeable and truly made me grateful for choosing to stay at this location during my time in Atlanta, along with the general manager Jeff who was friendly and also very knowledgeable and welcoming. this location is in the epicenter of amazing retail and restaurants, to include some vegan options as well. I would highly recommend staying at this location.

Rusty J.

Yelp
Great location and a better price than the overrated Omni, who had been resting on their laurels as the only hotel in the battery for some time. Rooms were good, location great, front desk staff nice. They have some issues to resolve though. The bar wasn't open either Saturday or Sunday night despite big crowds. There was no explanation as to why It never opened. The breakfast service is really bad and needs help. I think the main issue is they're understaffed there, which isn't the fault of the cook, but it needs to be fixed by management. Delays were long and orders were wrong on multiple occasions that I personally witnessed. Has good potential. I will return but hope they fix these problems next time around.
google avatar

Danielle B.

Yelp
Don't stay here! Horrible customer service, rude front desk, very unprofessional, double charges your card and gives you the run around with an ATTITUDE at that to fix it, staff needs to be re-trained. Managers are NO help. Take your money and stay at the Omni! I will never stay here again. Leo is extremely rude.
google avatar

Casey H.

Yelp
If I could give them zero I would. I do NOT leave reviews ever but I am absolutely disgusted with this place and the way admin treats clients. We drove in from Arkansas to Atlanta to visit a family of a fallen marine for Memorial Day stuck in traffic for hrs with 3 children. We got in around 4 am and they would not let us into the hotel telling me my small children had to sleep in the car. Spoke to the manager and pretty much told me too bad. We thankfully found another hotel close by but I promise Aloft will NEVER get any of our or all of my friends/ family's business again. Save your money. And aloft do better
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
This hotel is fantastic. We really enjoyed being within walking distance of Truist Park and not having to worry about parking, or using Uber/Lyft. The hotel was very clean and the amenities were amazing. Staff is friendly and very helpful. They also did a great job with safety/cleanliness as far as COVID-19 is concerned.

Meredith V.

Yelp
Don't stay here if you are not comfortable with not having privacy while showering! The shower is out in the open with clear doors and a big mirror that reflects into the bathroom from which you can see when you are sitting on the beds! We had to put a sheet over the mirror and a blanket over the shower door for "some" privacy.... ‍

Jerry G.

Yelp
Please, please do not stay here. This brand is only good for overnight guests, the room it self is very very small and has no space for anything. There is no where to even keep your clothing. No dressers or closets! There is one tiny sink and men are not able even to take a shave or a woman can not apply her make up because of inadequate lighting, The room itself looks great but has no practicality. Enough about the room, The hotel also could not serve myself and family. Our refrigerator failed and was not replaced until the next day causing my refrigerated eye drops to spoil. We left in the morning and requested the room be made up and sheets changed! this did not happen as we walked back into the room and noticed this right away, We complained and in all fairness they corrected the problem in a timely manner. I am just trying to say there were service issues! It should be done correctly the first time! This hotel is only meant for for the traveler staying over night. We were here for 5 nights, It was indeed difficult. Families should never stay here. It would virtually be impossible, My most happy day is the day I checked out!

Barry S.

Yelp
This hotel was one of the cleanest hotels I ever stayed in, and it was even a room where our dog could stay with us. During this pandemic time, this was very important to us. It's modern, makes efficient use of space with even a nice little seating couch and table, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was also very friendly. The only thing we missed was a microwave. Still, good buy for the money.
