"Aloft Brussels Surrounded by European Union government buildings, the quirky and characterful Aloft Brussels brings the Starwood brand’s lively spin on business hotels to the European capital. With sleek, loftlike rooms, 24-hour self-service dining, and all the highest-tech amenities (it’s the first hotel in the Benelux region to have a keyless check-in system), the hotel appeals to young professional travelers who don’t need the over-the-top services of a traditional business stay. Its boxy, avant-garde architecture and bold, colorful decor attract a more design-conscious crowd that values both style and substance, as evidenced by the regular artist- and creative-hosted events the hotel sponsors. But it’s the bar that says the most about how the Aloft Brussels stands out: the sprawling, vibrant lounge has pop art–inspired decor, a pool table, an outdoor patio, and regular live music; it attracts a young, attractive crowd for after-work drinks and late-night parties throughout the week."

Clean and modern hotel. The breakfast was good and had a good selection of items. The lobby is fun and lively per usual Aloft vibes. About a 30 min walk or 15 min train from the old town center, but has plenty of restaurants nearby and personally preferred that it's away from the busy tourist section.

I had a great stay at Aloft Hotel in Brussels for a couple of days. The room size was impressive, exactly as shown in the photos and videos, and the overall cleanliness and service were excellent. What stood out the most was how practical the hotel is—clean, neat, and designed with convenience in mind. For those needing to work, there are open spaces with a dedicated workstation, which I found really useful. The room also includes a closet to hang outfits, adding to the comfort of the stay. Inside the room, there’s also a small fridge, which is super handy for longer stays. Another great feature is the gym in the basement. It’s well-equipped with a cable machine, free weights, and treadmills, making it perfect for a practical morning workout. The bathroom was also spacious and spotless, which made the experience even better. If you’re looking for a modern, functional, and well-equipped hotel in Brussels, I highly recommend this one!

Hotel perfect located easy to access from the airport and near to EU parliament. Very much a business hotel with quiet rooms and large desks for working.||Breakfast and all food was self service, to the extent that if you wanted anything hot you had to microwave it yourself, or even make your own scrambled eggs. I found the lack of waiter service for even a cup of coffee too impersonal and after three days working by myself - lonely|So would recommend a better value breakfast with more personal service at one of the nearby cafe. - for supper there are endless places to eat just down the street.

If you’re looking for a stylish and comfortable place to stay in Brussels, I highly recommend Aloft Brussels Schuman! I had a fantastic experience here. The hotel is modern and trendy, with spacious, clean rooms and super comfortable beds and pillows-some of the best I’ve had in Europe. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the European Parliament and close to the metro, making it easy to explore the city. The staff stood out for their friendliness and professionalism. They were always helpful, whether it was a quick check-in, answering questions, or going the extra mile to accommodate special requests. The lobby and bar area are cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing in the evening with a drink. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like reliable free WiFi, a well-equipped fitness center, and pet-friendly amenities. The hotel is family-friendly and accessible for guests with mobility needs, with spacious rooms and excellent facilities. Overall, Aloft Brussels Schuman offers great value, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Brussels!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel it was very clean very modern and the staff was incredibly helpful even those who were not very proficient in English. I really loved the lavender bags that you could make yourselves and I thought the lobby was very pleasant place to spend time in.

Perfect stay in Brussels ,close to the Metro and train station. Nice room .MILLION thanks to the Recepción. The staff is v ery friendly, especially Esther,Pierrick,Angela and Gaja. I WILL COMEBACK . To improve... the breakfast ,is ok but could be better.

Rooms lack storage. There are no drawers, so one has to live out of one's luggage. That makes it hard to feel at home or settled in. The Wi-Fi connection is very annoying as I had to frequently and repeatedly sign in to the network. At least that process is quick and easy.

Overall a comfortable stay although the location is a little further from the city center (40-min walk). Breakfast could have been better though.

Yelp
Solid hotel overall. The gym was a bit small, but as expected for an Aloft. Their breakfast was light, as expected for an Aloft, but had plentiful meats and pastries. Their coffee machine was decent (free with breakfast). As for the rooms, they meet the Aloft standard. Clean, decently spacious, and good views. Location-wise, if you're here for business, it's perfect. If you're here for leisure, the Sheraton I felt was closer to most of the attractions. It's walking distance to the museums, which is a plus. I'd be glad to stay here again, although they sold out the 2nd night!

Yelp
Inexpensive and somewhat well-located hotel for visiting the European administrative buildings, but thin walls, disappointing breakfast and sparse rooms. Brussels loosely has two places you want to be: (1) near the European administrative buildings and parliament and (2) near the Grand Place. This definitely favors the former over the latter and made it a decent choice for my work trip. That said, the Courtyard is only a bit further away, is closer to the Grand Place and is slightly nicer. Specifically, the Courtyard has a decent restaurant as compared to this hotel's paltry breakfast with nothing hot except for beverages and some weird automatic machine to make your own scrambled eggs in a cup. The room itself was nice enough with big windows and decent shades. Definitely styled to be urban hip/chic, but a bit less functional than you'd like with no real dresser and a mediocre closet.

Yelp
We stayed outside the city centre aka the pentagon. The hotel is close to the Metro Station, European Parliament, and Parc du Cinquantenaire. The room was comfortable. Robe and slippers were provided. We also chose to get breakfast over points. Breakfast was ok- nothing I really cared for though. There was a variety of deli meat and cheeses. It was more of a light snack to me.

Yelp
Hotel is extremely stingy. We ordered and paid for a rollaway bed online when making the reservation and were denied it when we made it to the hotel. Shower was clogged and flooded ruining some of our clothes, and I had to fight to get at least a free wash for my clothes that were ruined. Lobby is dirty, staff is rude, food cannot be up to health code. Please stay away.

Yelp
The service and stay was fantastic! We arrived way before check in, at about 9:30am coming off our red eye from the states. And they were able to get us into a room by 10:30am! The rooms are well appointed and large. While the location is about 15 mins by subway/30 min walk to the city center, as a native NYer, this wasn't a big deal at all. We used the subway often, also walked one evening back from the Grand Place and felt super safe. Overall, a lovely stay! Would 100% recommend for a future stay!

Yelp
This is a laid back hotel but maybe for a diffrent crowed. The major plus of this hotel is it's location to downtown and public transportation. The negative portion is the proximity to the airport. For a traveler like myself you want the best of both worlds but that is not always possible. The breakfast was lack luster, the gym was passable for a hotel gym but the cardio equipment was not well taken care of which is another issue for me. In short the hotel is visually attractive but doesn't offer much to a traveler like myself. There is a nice bar with a happy hour but the times are weird and not very conducive to those enjoying the buy one get one special.

Yelp
This is the second Aloft property that I've stayed at and I'm certainly a fan. The Brussels location is a bit away from the sites around town that you'll probably be traveling to. It is located by the EU complex and the Cinquentarie Park. There are nearby Metro stops to the center and decent restaurants. The Aloft is minimalist perfection. The lobby is huge and had a lot of places to hang around and Leffe on tap at the bar. They even had a large crowd there on our first night enjoying the live band that was jamming. It is a perfect place to plan your agenda or shoot a game of pool when things are more chill. As for the room, it was huge. Aloft rooms from what I can tell are split between the bath, sink, shower area and the bedroom. The king bed, as with most Starwood properties, was super comfy and like sleeping on a cloud. Lots of storage space for your stuff. I liked the radio that worked with my iPhone via bluetooth, so we could rock out. Everything else that you would expect in your room: good products, coffee, safe, iron and board. The cafe off the lobby was a bit sparse. We opted to walk around the area for brekkie and I found a Paul a block away. There is also a popular frite stand in a nearby plaza. They take their fries so seriously in Belgium that they have a museum dedicated to them. Not to be missed.

Yelp
It's a nice modern and what I would call very American friendly hotel. It has a bar with surprisingly decent drinks and a neat little lounge area including pool table that's nice for some downtime. With it's modern aesthetic it certainly doesn't have the local flair / atmosphere, but it is familiar to the Aloft brand of hotels. The room was well laid out and spacious and was very clean. The only awkwardness is the railroad setup between the sink, toilet and shower. It was only awkward because the shower door swung out with minimal clearance in front of the toilet which would constantly sweep away the bath mat. That might just be the layout in the room we got.

Yelp
This hotel is wonderful, it's spacious, modern, clean, has an awesome lobby and bar area and the staff is incredibly friendly. It's situated in the Europe district and it's very safe to walk around. There are several grocery stores walking distance and across the street on multiple sides. There's a great little place on the backside of the block called Chillis Food that has take out prepared Indian that's quite good. The park is a block over. And the downtown is only 4 metro stops away, it couldn't get any easier. The rates are also astoundingly great. I wish every city I was visiting had an Aloft! I'm very glad to be an SPG member. Also if you walk around the area you will come across several bakeries and places to dine. One thing I have to add is the shower, as nice as it is, water temperature is always a thing when you can't have a happy medium with it. It's either ice cold polar caps or satan's ass hole hot, takes a little while to find the right temp.

Yelp
Worst night of sleep in my life. The blankets here do not breath. It's like sleeping wrapped in plasticwrap. I would wake up sweating uncontrolably, throw the blanket off and then freeze. This cycle repeated all night and I woke up sick. The blankets say they're 80/20 cotton polyesther but I really don't think that's true. I think the Aloft supplier in Europe is cutting corners and selling the bad material because this same thing happened at the Aloft in Munich. Never again.

Yelp
Situated in the EU district (not downtown!), a very nice and modern hotel. Even though it wasn't located as close as expected to the main touristic attractions, it was conveniently located near the Shuman metro stop. It will take about 10 minutes to reach downtown. For the 69EUR,- I got a night including a simple but strong continental breakfast in one of their standard rooms , which looked fantasticly in its design and interior, although small. They also have a creative ecological promo going on: Whenever refused roomservice, 5EUR,- will be applied as credit that can be spend for facilities at the hotel. For the price it was a good deal. Especially providing the convenience of early check in, and late check out (3PM!), was great! The only little tiny downside was the fact that the coffee in the room was terrific instant coffee, and the paint of the sealings of cramped bathroom were flaked. It smelled even a little moldy. I mean, if everything looks so great, please maintain the bathroom with detail as well. I don't think this price would have been realistic for what we got in the heart of downtown, so this was a perfect alternative that was well worth it. The staff is very nice and friendly as well. Chapeau!

Yelp
You know what I really dig about staying at an Aloft property? You can count on a consistent experience, whether you'll be sleeping in Brooklyn or Brussels. Though it doesn't sound like a major coup, landing a HUGE hotel room in Europe is exactly that - a major coup! And though you'll be missing out on the charm of holing up in a local hotel, the Aloft successfully marries deep value and fresh style. Yes: I am a fan! Though the location isn't exactly ideal, it's not inconvenient, either - the property is located about 5-minutes from the Schuman metro stop. Actually, it would be less than a 5-minute walk but you'll be climbing uphill. Just another reason to pack light! And if you're planning on heading to the center of town (of course you are), the Aloft is only a quick 4 stops away from the heart of Brussels. Hotel amenities include free wi-fi for all guests, printers so you can obtain a hard copy of your boarding pass (or print off that gifted Hot Chip ticket, as in my lucky case), a 24/7 snack station filled with drinks and sandwiches (no room service), a gym and a full-service bar. Loved my king-size bed (not exactly easy to find in Europe). Loved the price (low point redemption for free nights for Starwood Preferred members/otherwise, about $75 USD/night). The only thing I didn't love? The janky hair dryers... having to manually hold the power button the entire time you are drying your hair is cumbersome and eventually, painful. Definitely recommended, if you don't mind staying just outside the city center to save a few bucks.

Yelp
We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was large, modern, and very clean. We were welcomed by courteous and professional staff who offered a crib for our baby without needing to be asked. The room had ample space to set up and travel crib. The bed was comfortable. Our room had a spacious shower, but no bath. Although not downtown, the hotel was nicely situated near Jourdan Square, which has many cafes and pubs. Also, there is a large park directly across the street. We walked from the hotel to the downtown area (with a stroller) without any trouble. We didn't use the bar, but it was spacious with lots of seating areas. The lobby had a table with multiple types of phone chargers available for free use. There was a nice little grab and go area with water, snacks, etc, off of reception. The only problem we had was some confusion about our late check-out. It seems that it wasn't correctly put into the system, so the staff weren't aware of it on the day we were leaving. It was handled well and worked out fine, though. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone we know visiting Brussels.

Yelp
I stayed one night here using SPG points (only 3000!) so this was a super deal! i love the colorful, mod decor and the oversized comfy couches in the lobby area. and i lovelove places that have free wifi. the staff were very friendly and we got in early on our flight from DC but they still let us check in at 8am. the rooms are great, efficient.. a mini fridge, complimentary evian bottles, and great water pressure on the huge rain showerhead. beds were too firm for me but i like crazy soft beds (think water beds or thick pillow tops) so that's just my preference. the brekkie here was yummy. you can choose 3 items for 6 euros and it was a good deal mostly because one of the options is bread+meat+cheese and you can take as much as you want (versus taking something like a piece of fruit which also counts for 1 item). so you know i piled my plate with layers of cheese, meat, cheese, meat, cheese + spreads ... what? i'm chinese... :) it's about 1.5 mile walk to the main tourist areas and right next to the metro/subway and bicycle rental spots so great location for the price!

Yelp
The lobby of this hostel looks like a high end hostel, which to me was a plus. Chicy miccy places end up all looking the same, but this hotel lobby stands out. The hotel is part of the Starwood group and operated by the W hotels, which is always a good indication. The lobby (and staff) are colorful, fun, and cheerful. The rooms are clean and equipped with Bliss brand products just like the W (ps they smell amazing). You can include a buffet breakfast in your nightly rate or pick and choose at the buffet and only pay for what you pick. The hotel is about is about 3 subway stations from the tourist attractions and in a safe neighborhood. Only downside to this hotel is that there's no service to bring you stuff to your rooms (like if you forget to bring toothpaste). Enjoy your stay!

Yelp
This was the first Aloft hotel we stayed at, and I think it's going to set the expectations pretty high. Though it's a bit far from the city center, it's only a short metro ride and is much quieter at night. The hotel gives a very young and hip vibe. Check in went smoothly at the reception desk and the candy in the jar were delicious! The receptionist was also nice enough to let me ship a package and store it until my arrival. She gave the package to me right away! Rooms were spacious and exceeded my expectations. The only problem we had was a faulty AC in the room. Because wen were at a corner unit with huge windows, the room got a bit hot in the afternoon when we checked in. After several attempts to fix it, the system still didn't work. We asked to switch rooms but the receptionist said the rooms were all booked for the day (I don't buy it...). Wifi also wasn't working, which was frustrating. The next day, everything worked magically... Nevertheless, for what we paid for, it was worth it! Would stay here again if we come back on a tight budget!

Yelp
Great hotel! The room was amazing: new, clean, with lots of space, and very comfortable. It had a HD TV set, WI-FI, and each day we got a free bottle of water (Evian). The bed was enormous and extremely comfortable. The facilities are also very clean. The staff is very nice and attentive. They gave us some advice on what to do during our vacation. You can choose not to have your room cleaned for one day, and they give you a 5 € voucher for the breakfast bar (a good deal in my opinion). And we only had to pay 25€ per person per night, so it was a bargain. The only drawback is that it doesn't have parking, so you have to park in the street. Still, one of the hotels with best value/price ratio I've ever been to.

Yelp
This is the kind oh hotel, that makes very nice first impression. But when you actually stay there, it is nothing to write home about. The Aloft chain proudly advertises themselves as W Hotels creative idea. I know few Ws and therefore I was expecting much more. Aloft is very well situated in the heart of office Brussels next to Schumann. Interior interior look colorful and original. Breakfasts are take away buffet and staff is really nice. So far so good, but this would be it about positive sides. Rooms are pretty small, but we'll arranged. What really stroke me was the fact, that in relatively new hotel the shower cabins already are covered with rust. In addition to it the bedding looked like someone used it before, little crumpled. But the biggest disadvantage of the rooms is, that they face another office building and have no mirror windows. So unless you cover your window with black curtain which makes your room completely dark, all the office workers from across the street see everything What is happening in your room... I considered breakfasts ok until I stayed till Saturday, when it was half of the buffet. No fruits etc. I understand that weekend in Brussels is low season, but it is the first time I see such difference. So all in all, if not location of the hotel, I would not have stayed there.

Yelp
Fast, easy checkin. SPG Plat gets free buffet continental breakfast. The breakfast was just barely adequate in terms of what is available. I would consider it a very slim almost continental. They did have hard boiled eggs and DIY waffles one day. On breakfast, I've stayed at Alofts with slightly better warm breakfast sandwhich that was better. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. Keep in mind Aloft is more of modern and eco-friendly style/layout so don't expect a real W Hotel! Pretty convenient location, about 3-5 minute walk to 2 separate subway stations. It's in near the European Union Headquarters so the area is more business, easy to get to other areas. Don't do laundry there. Machine eats coins like I drink alcohol. Hotel didn't have detergent so we had to purchase at a market. Doesn't wash clothes well (as in clean). Would stay there again but only if on business.

Yelp
This is a great hotel. My room was spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed. The location is great - convenient to the metro but also in a great neighborhood with lots of parks, restaurants, bars, etc. Also, there is a decent fitness center and lots of fun stuff going on in the lobby - like a foosball table. The room rates are very reasonable compared to other hotels in Brussels of similar quality.

Yelp
Good gym, good bar. Pretty basic amenities but quiet, good beds, nice neighborhood. A few odd things happened - fire alarm next door, water heater quit for one morning but overall would stay here again for convenient access to Schumann area and very nice staff at a good rate.

Yelp
I love aloft hotels, and have always found them to be solid 4-star options. However I found this location to be just have something special that other locations didn't have. Rooms were perfect cookie cutter aloft style, clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was excellent, and was able to check us into our room quickly, even though we arrived before check in time. Where I think this aloft excels above others is their "social" scene. The bar features a monthly cocktail, which I have not seen done in American locations. The bar staff was wonderful. They even had a DJ, which I was especially surprised to see considering we stayed on a Wed. night. Everything felt very welcoming, and we had a great time just hanging out at the hotel. The only thing that may deter me from staying here is the location, it wasn't especially close to anything (at least what I was wanting to see). The walk to the grand place was not horrible, maybe 20-30 minutes. And late night, when we were ready to return but not up to the walk due to being stuffed to the brim with frites, it was quick and easy to find a taxi.

Yelp
Modern rooms and young&fresh service. The breakfeast-concept is quite cool: Pick 3 or 5 items and eat at the hotel or get a bag for later lunch
