New Hawaiian Restaurant Aloha Sushi & Grill Opens Uptown - Eater New Orleans
"Aloha Grill & Sushi, opened by Tracey Davenport and Dave Kirtland, is a new restaurant offering Hawaiian comfort food with a Southern flair. It features sushi and poke offerings from the original Aloha Lei stall and new grill menu items like smoked kalua pork, a burger with bacon-pineapple jam, and musubi. The restaurant serves breakfast and brunch, including dishes like chicken and pandan waffles." - Clair Lorell
The Spam Musubi here is both fantastic, and available nowhere else in the city (that I'm aware of). Good alcohol selection, friendly staff and great food. Can't ask for much more.
A welcome addition to the neighborhood.

It was decent but could improve. Their mac salad is kinda bad but their spam musubi was good (tho it didn't seem to be on the menu even tho you can order it). The loco moco was good but I'd rather have it as a plate than a sandwich.

Great atmosphere. Food is amazing, the pineapple bacon sauce on the burgers is divine, and do not get me started on the lemon basil sauce that they put on the salmon. 😋🤩

Absolutely awful. Wost poke I've ever had. Extremely overpriced. The over/under is 6 months on this business still being open. The money is in the under. The 5 Star reviews are clearly friends of the owner....
