Google
This place is one of those hidden gems that are hard to come by. I stumbled upon it while looking for a new Hawaiian BBQ spot near me — and I’m glad I did. Having lived on the north side for over 11 years, I’m honestly just happy this place exists. From the outside (and even the inside), the restaurant looks super simple, but don’t let that fool you. Where they really shine is in the food, portion sizes, and speed of service. When I walked in, I was the only customer, but within 10 minutes, there were about 10–12 people. It seems like a lot of locals go for takeout, which makes sense because they move fast — I was in and out in about 15 minutes. Now, the food: I’ve tried a few different plates here. The beef plate is solid — great flavor and generous portions. The BBQ combo plate is hands-down my favorite, with short ribs, BBQ chicken, and BBQ beef all on one plate. It’s packed with flavor and super satisfying. I also tried the seafood BBQ combo. The only downside was the mahi mahi — it’s a bit hit or miss depending on the day. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve tried so far, and I’d definitely recommend giving this place a shot at least once. Great find!

Google
I had the Kalua pig for lunch, and overall the portion was generous. The Kalua pig itself had a nice, smoky flavor, and I appreciated that the cabbage was soft and well-cooked, not raw like at some other spots. the macaroni salad really missed the mark.. it tasted like plain mayo and noodles with no seasoning or flavor. The white rice was fine you really can’t mess that up. Would I return? Probably not, but it wasn’t terrible either. Just didn’t quite hit the spot.

Google
Spam Masubi hit Pretty awesome Portions Thick Patty's on the loco Moco Delicious flavor on the short Rib Not pictured but lumpia was also BOMB

Google
The customer service was great, with welcoming hellos as we walked in the door. Food was good and actually had flavor, besides SALT like other places. I got the chicken and the wife got the pork. Both were delicious and as always......so much food for the $$$$. You order one meal and you eat for 2 days. Will return for sure.

Google
Delicious. Boys got teriyaki chicken bowl and I had loco Moco. Both were great. Was not expecting such good food from a random stop in a retail center like this. Thank you for the great food and service.

Google
First of all ordered the Chicken Katsu plate. The katsu sauce was horrible. Macaroni salad shouldn't have been in the same box. My son ordered the combo Chicken Katsu and Short ribs ribs over cooked n macaroni salad was in the same container. Didn't look appealing. Only thing that was good was the thai ice tea. Never again. Would never recommend this place. And i am from Hawaii

Google
The food was VERY good. The service was great, very friendly. I had the Kalua Pork 10/10. I will definitely be back!

Google
My wife and I were disappointed about their food. I had some Char-sui Saimin and the Char-sui pork was hard to chew, it seemed like it was old. My wife had the Garlic Shrimp and it was anemic looking, it looked like it was just half cooked. Their "Manapua" was the biggest disappointment. It most definitely looked like the ones that Walmart or Albertsons sell. All in all, it didn't satisfy our cravings.

Yelp
We rely on Aloha BBQ for a quick lunch or dinner and they're pretty reliable for a quick hearty meal. I always get the same thing- kalua pork with steamed broccoli instead of rice to cut back on the carbs. It's always flavorful cooked perfectly and a large portion. The pork is tender due to being slow cooked. It's mixed with delicious shredded cabbage. Lately I've noticed theres almost equal parts cabbage to pork ratio but I get it. EVERYTHING is more expensive and this is a business trying to stay a float. They haven't raised their prices so I can't complain. My husband gets a few different things but most often he gets the Katsu chicken. TBH, it's hit or miss. Sometimes it's over cooked and slightly burned or it's undercooked and a little mushy. My husband likes it really crispy but obviously not burned. He's often had to put it in the Airfyer after bringing it home to crisp it up a bit. He does like their hamburgers and fries and loco moco. Both are usually solid. The inside is simple and clean. Not the most decorative atmosphere but we never dine in so we don't mind it at all. The staff is always friendly and they usually always get our order right. We will continue to get takeout from Aloha but we wish the prep of the food was a bit more consistent. Otherwise this is a reasonably priced great takeout spot.

Yelp
The customer service was terrible. The cashier who stated she was the manager took my order down wrong. When I checked my food and asked for the missing item she argued that I never order it. And in do mean argued that I was wrong. So much for the customer is always right. I would have appreciated if she would have said I didn't hear you and asked if I wanted to pay to add the missing item. But telling me I was wrong is the reason this establishment will never get my money again.

Yelp
I live right up the street from this spot but didn't even know it existed until I saw them listed on the Open Rewards app - DM me for more info on that if interested. I came in to use a credit on the app and it was easy to place a takeout order. Everything was made fresh and ready quickly, and the lady who helped me was very sweet. This restaurant is definitely a mom-and-pop style shop, and one might call it a hole in the wall, but the menu is large and food is fresh, and served with a smile. The menu has all kinds of Hawaiian BBQ, as well as musubi, saimin, udon, oxtail soup, loco moco, seafood, and more - they really have everything and then some. I got the BBQ combo plate (short ribs, chicken and beef, $18), garlic shrimp plate ($15, 12 pieces of shrimp) and a side of lumpia (3 pieces, $4?) - the portions here are large, and all of the above made four meals total. The combo bbq plate is the way to go to try a bunch of different options, and everything was cooked well, with plenty of rice and mac salad. The garlic shrimp had a ton of garlic and sauce, but the shrimp itself was barely cooked through, which was a little unexpected. I guess that's better than overcooked shrimp but maybe express your preferences when you order. The lumpia was a little underwhelming and just didn't have a lot of flavor and was not the right texture, so maybe skip that. I am unsure if we'll return - we just don't eat Hawaiian food all that often. But if you're in the area and craving it, they have every dish you could want, other than poke. NOTE: The link here on Yelp is outdated, correct link comes up when searching the business via Google, with online ordering available.

Yelp
Don't let the name of this restaurant fool you. The food that is served is no way as good as the Hawaiian style food served in Hawaii. I would venture to say that the owner(s) have never been to Hawaii, or least were never properly trained on how to prepare Hawaii style food. The L&L "Hawaiian Food" restaurants in Las Vegas are no better than this restaurant.

Yelp
Cute little restaurant that seems to be family-operated and the lady at the counter was very nice. Quick service, good portion size for the kalua pig plate for a reasonable price. I could get about 2 meals out of this and for comparison, I eat 2 In'N Out burgers to be full. :) Oxtail soup is good, tastes like the oxtail soup my family in Kauai makes (just need to add a little more salt cuz my family likes salty). Kalua pig is also good, not too dry like some other places I've tried, and the pork-to-cabbage ratio is also reasonable.
google avatar

Daniel A.

Yelp
The only reason I give this place 3 stars is because it's another L&L Hawaiian BBQ knockoff. Other than that I would've given it 4 stars. I usually come here just to order Portuguese Sausage fried rice or BBQ pork fried rice. They're not the best but it's pretty good. I'm sure their food is good here. When I try other things on the menu I will post it.

Yelp
First time ordering from Aloha, I trusted the reviews and they came through!! Food was delicious and plentiful, delivery was on time and food arrived hot. Pricing was very reasonable. Will definitely be ordering again.

Yelp
Great food here and cheap! Service is quick likely getting food in 10mins. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Food was delicious and delivered so quick. The magi magi was outstanding. The barbecue chicken was delicious.

Alisa M.

Yelp
Food is ok. But please cook your rice properly. So many hard uncooked grains, not enjoyable. This is not a one time incident; it's your trademark now.
google avatar

Yelp
Char Siu Fried Saimin is where its at! Friendly staff and quick service. Its hard finding good noodles on this side of town. This place does NOT disappoint, we order noodles for all our gatherings from here.

Rebecca O.

Yelp
Everything tasted great! Macaroni salad was really good along with the Short Ribs plate, BBQ mix plate, chicken teriyaki, soy poke and vegetable rolls. Large portions and good prices

Noemi R.

Yelp
The food was VERY good. The service was great, very friendly. I had the Kalua Pork 10/10. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
My roommate just brought me home a combo plate from here ... (I've been avoiding the place - which happens to be around the corner from me - because I personally spend a significant amount of time on the islands, and it is hard to find authentic food with THE touch) OMG. I have not had a meal made with such LOVE, in a while, and I did not realize it, until after I scarfed down the entire thing without stopping. WOW. SO GOOD. SO AUTHENTIC. Yes. Eat here. Support the magic behind this location. I'm in! (My only regret is, not turning over the menu. I should have also ordered Kim Chee and a Taro Boba and .. and ...). I WILL be eating here as soon/often as I can. A Hui Hou and Mahalo .:.

Yelp
The best thing here is the macaroni salad . The customer service was on point for this city....... "poor"!!!The crazy thing is , I've been here once before and it wasn't so bad that I can remember that's why I was like let me try this place out , I think I remember it being pretty good, ,so disappointed....!
google avatar

Jay R.

Yelp
I like this place. I hate that it gets so many bad reviews. The staff is friendly and the food tastes good. I've been coming here for the last 6 years. And I've never had a problem. I order pick up and it's always ready in less than 15 minutes. I'm pescatarian so I've only tried their seafood when it comes to meats. My go to is the garlic shrimp. But beware it has a ALOT of garlic (which I love). Their macaroni salad is just okay but personally I'm not a fan of macaroni salad, so I'm not really a good judge.
google avatar

Yelp
Just got back from getting food from this place and first thing I noticed is we were missing an order of Spam Musubi. On the way back to the office, I was drinking the Thai Tea w/Boba and the boba was sooooo hard that it was probably old boba in my drink. I'm currently trying the BBQ Chicken Musubi and it just tastes so weird.. almost tastes like I'm eating Eel Sushi instead. The Lumpia is soooooooo small and thin, totally not worth it. I won't be ordering from here ever again and I would never recommend this place to anyone. Totally disappointed.

Emani S.

Yelp
Food is over priced , there is no difference between the mini and regular , the rice is very mushi , they don't cook the food all the way , not recommended do not come you will waste your money
google avatar

Jashel M.

Yelp
Bbq mixed plate literally had one short rib. The price & the quantity unfortunately do not match. The flavor is there but not the quality the food I got was lukewarm & definitely not fresh tasted old & reheated never have gotten lukewarm food from any Hawaiian bbq in Las Vegas. They should focus less on speed & more on preparing fresh food The staff was nice but definitely will not be returning to this location.
google avatar

Alma S.

Yelp
Teriyaki chicken bowl was great and satisfied my craving! Prices are cheap and food comes in decent portions! Will be stopping by for lunch again in the future!

Renee L.

Yelp
Love the food here, the chicken with gravy is delicious! Convenient to my house and their catering dishes are food too.
google avatar

Julissa V.

Yelp
Very good Hawaiian bbq spot. The lady was very nice who served us. The food was very fresh and delicious. I was craving spam masubi and the spam was very delicious and fresh!

Liz Thompson ..

Yelp
Ordered scallops today for lunch...phony scallops...rolled up fish in little scallop-size balls, coated and deepfried. Yuck! Spoke to employee who insisted they were real and "came from the factory that way". What a waste of money.
google avatar

Dustin A.

Yelp
New ownership and apparently recipes and packaging! Ordered to go and had a horrible mess, sweet and sour sauce top was not closed all the way and of course it spilt everywhere. Soaked my rice in my entree and made a mess in the bag. Then as I tried the spicy tuna poke I realized this was prepared at least 2-3 days ago. Nasty spoiled fish taste lathered in mayo and green onions. Flavor was terrible, Called for a refund for just the poke and told them about the poor packaging. Never got it. Just save your money and find another spot to eat.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a joke I've been to other Aloha bbq and they give way more portions on there plates I paid for a bbq plate and barely got a couple bites of meat nothing compared to l&l or tiki Hawaiian bbq
google avatar

Courtney M.

Yelp
I needed Hawaiian food. It was the mood I was in. So many spots that were my favs, have closed. So we decided to try here. The staff was very friendly, the interior was clean. Prices were very reasonable. The wait time was minimal. That is why I gave 3 stars. The food. Well we ordered the barbeque mixed plate and a katsu chicken. Each comes with rice and mac salad. Portions were decent. However the flavor was not what I consider ( close my eyes and I'm sitting back on the beach in Kailua- Kona) at all. It was very bland. The mac salad just was lacking. I was highly disappointed as we are supposed to be the 9th island ( Las Vegas - that is) I understand food is prepared differently at each restaurant and it is supposed to be accomadating for the pallets of the patrons it serves. But this truly lacked in flavor all the way around. Location is Craig/ Decatur- ample parking

Yelp
Bruaaahhh!!!!!! If i had the option to give no stars, that's exactly what they would have gotten. Spent over $50 for a BBQ mixed plate, Chicken Katsu Plate an an Oxtail Soup with a large drink and a bottle water! Not only is this place over priced (which we didn't mind paying) but damn! SUPER SUPER DISAPPOINTING!!!! First off, the rice was hella dry as if it was rice from the day before! Katsu under cooked and dry, $18 for oxtail to only find two pieces of meat! One big piece and a hella small piece! I mean come on! What got me the most was...If you gon use the name "Aloha Kitchen" and even food crappy atleast give some aloha! They no even great you when you come in. IDK!!! Neva again! And the floor was wet infront of the soda Machine and instead of coming to clean em, the lady like give me napkin to do em! . Sorry not sorry! NOT MY DAMN JOB! Okay rant pau! Just mad cause food was gross! But yes we still wen eat em cause we no waste! IYKYK!
google avatar

Tiki A.

Yelp
Great spot to eat at or pick up to eat been having to come back to back the chicken Katsu here is amazing and worth the price. I can say it depends on the staff that might change the vibe and cooking asian crew amazing job. I'll be back to eat
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic food!!! Great owners who care about the customers and make the food high quality! A+ will be back!#BBQ Chicken was bomb!
google avatar

Randi J.

Yelp
Order for delivery through the restaurants. Also got a spam musubi (but smashed that before taking pics) and 2 sides of kimchi.. everything is delicious and the food came quickly and was still hot. Thank You!
google avatar

Elizabeth L.

Yelp
This place needs to be shut down, cleaned or renovated. You can see the dust everywhere especially on the sofa machine that was not working . Tables were dirty and sticky, air conditioner wasn't working and didn't have much of variety of beverages in the small fridge next to the register. This place needs to be revamp with some Aloha Spirit.
google avatar

Candice N.

Yelp
I ordered poke for $6.99 without rice and then the regular size kalbi ribs which comes with two scoops of rice and Max salad . poke was very salty too much soy sauce not enough onion. Kalbi was too sweet. Mac salad too much mayo. Rice helped to offset the taste. I got to learn how to make this at home.
google avatar

Irene G.

Yelp
Whenever we're craving local food from Hawaii close by, we know we can go here & they do not disappoint! They serve large portions & the price is great!
google avatar

Jose S.

Yelp
I usually come here about once a month. I went in today and I have to say I was very let down. I always get the BBQ Mix Plate with no macaroni and no cabbage. We'll today I only got the spare ribs and chicken, they failed to give me any beef. I called the restaurant about it and the cook claims that he put a small piece of beef in there. If there was any beef in there which I didn't see any, then it must have been small bite of it. Anyways, I told the lady I didn't get any beef and I'm not calling just to lie to her. She offered me a $1 credit for next time I come in to eat! Hahaha, I asked if she was joking but she was very serious. I laughed and told her to keep her miserable dollar and I would not be going back there again. It was a slap in the face to even offer $1! Not going back
google avatar

Yelp
I feel like you can't go wrong here. For such a good price and portion, you'll definitely conquer your lunch time hunger or situate a time crunch for dinner. Here you will find all the chicken katsu, Hawaiian BBQ beef, shortribs, spam masubis, and more. They even have loco moco here too. In your order you'll find that rice and macaroni salad is included as well. My favorite thing here is the chicken katsu curry, and I usually order a half box. The half box of anything here is huge! Its a lot more than you think it would be. What I really like is how fast they are. I normally order to-go, and they are such a life saver when I'm running around doing errands or need a quick pit stop.
google avatar

Eric O.

Yelp
Good portions. Grea prices. Had the loco moco. A ton of gravy! Hate when other places skimp on the gravy and you have to ask for eztra.
google avatar

Amanda A.

Yelp
Service was very fast! Food was delicious! Fairly priced! The Loco Moco was exactly what my husband was craving. The plate was perfect from the beef patties to the gravy to the egg on top. I thought it was a low price for the huge portion and my husband's craving was satisfied. All in all - very happy with it! The BBQ combo plate was an awesome amount of food also and was really good! My stepdaughter and niece (both 9 years old) split it and they did damage! They loved the flavor and really enjoyed the bbq short ribs. I ordered the pork cutlet plate. Despite the gravy being poured on top of all the cutlets, I really enjoyed my order! I didn't think there would be gravy (didn't see it in the menu description on Yelp so I didn't think about it) or I would have asked for it on the side so at first I was a little bummed. But, it turned out to not to matter much and I could barely finish my plate there was so much to eat! The boba drinks were ok. They were good in terms of flavor, and rather refreshing. I just tend to be a little picky when it comes to boba smoothies. All in all - great experience with this restaurant! Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Diana P.

Yelp
Have been here several times - it is OK. But the last time I visited, I ordered a boba taro smoothie. The boba tastes exactly like the fragrance/cleaning products used in the restaurant. Maybe they are storing the boba next to chemicals - I don't know. Will never return here again.
google avatar

Ran C.

Yelp
I don't get it. I really don't .... Big portions don't mean it's good food. But, my family, who lives there in Las Vegas tends to think so. I guess if you pour enough shoyu or chili pepper water on something, you can't taste how bland something is. And that's what I thought about the food my family picked up for a small gathering at my mom's house. Chicken katsu, fried noodles and teriyaki. Lots of food - gotta give them that. But it stops there. Katsu was not crispy on the outside or moist on the inside. Damp is the word that comes to mind. Teriyaki was overdone. Looked ok at first glance but at first bite, overcooked. Fried noodles was ok. Frying noodles is hard to mess up, like cooking rice. For my taste though, the noodles could have used a little more salt and or shoyu. To each their own - some may like it because they don't know any better. Others may like it because it's all they can get now. Me, I don't and won't settle because I can and will just fly home if I want to have authentic, Hawaiian BBQ.
google avatar

Moses H.

Yelp
Stop in here for lunch and after checking out the menu I decided to go with the barbecue chicken and noodle plate. The portion size was ginormous for the regular size plate and the chicken tasted pretty flavorful. The noodles on the other hand were pretty bland tasting. The food came out quick and they also had several different spicy condiments, which I'm a huge fan of. Over all a pretty average place to dine.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been on a massive Loco Moco kick the last couple months, and find myself constantly craving it. I work right by this Aloha location and with really no other places in the area, I've stopped here a couple times after work to somewhat satisfy my craving. One of my least favorite things about this place is the feel of it. It's not necessarily dirty, but it's definitely run down, and looks like the staff gives it very little attention. I realize it's more or less of a fast food joint, but at least try to make it look inviting so people will want to eat here. The staff is another downer for Aloha. Each time I've been in here, everyone just looks miserable. There's really no smiles or welcomes, and if you ask them questions, it's like you're pulling teeth. They've also got a cook in the back who always seem to be screwing off and messing with the other staff. Maybe he owns the place, I don't know, but he kind of just seems to do whatever he wants. Obviously you aren't going to come here for 5 star service, so let's talk about the food. While I'm not an expert on Hawaiin food by any means, I think this place is ok and has a couple decent things to offer. My craving for loco mock isn't completely satisfied, but their version holds me over pretty well. I like that their hamburger patty appears to be hand made and has a decent seasoning on it's own. It's tender, not dry at all and their gravy isn't bad either. Besides being a little on the watery said, it has solid flavor and isn't overly salty. The rice they use is as plain jane as it comes, but they at least cook the egg right, and it makes for an overall tasty plate of food. And their portions are huge! Their "Mini" is only $6.15 and is plenty for me. If you're super hungry, try their "Regular" for only $8.15 and if you finish it, you'll probably be sickly full. Both my son and I enjoy the spam musubi as well. It's got a slightly sweet sauce that pairs well with the salty spam, and for only $2.15 you get a nice size piece that is perfect for a little snack or side. Since their macaroni salad is extremely salty and has a strong mayo taste, I'd ask if they can just uncharge and swap it out for spam musubi instead on my next visit though. There are a couple things I wouldn't recommend trying, but these are probably givens being that it's basically fast food. Their fried mahi-mahi is pretty bad, and even my 6 year old, who loves almost all seafood, just couldn't eat it. He did like the fried shrimp however, which wasn't nearly as bad, but probably not something I'd order again for myself. For what Aloha Hawaiin BBQ is, I don't think it's bad, but it's not great. The loco moco alone is decent enough for me to come back when I get the craving and I'm nearby, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Overall, it's "A-OK"!

LeKea I.

Yelp
This place was thee worst Hawaiian restaurant we've ever been to. Oily uncooked lumpias, inedible oily fried shrimps, yucky runny crab rangoon and thee worst haupia I dared not even try to eat. It's almost an insult that they want to call this a Hawaiian bbq restaurant because our food is a million times better than what this place makes. And the service is terrible to boot! Don't waste your money going here, unfortunately L&L would be a better choice.
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
Went here to pick up a quick lunch. It was easy to find right off of Craig and Decatur in a strip mall. The place is clean and well kept. The girl at the counter that took our order was friendly and efficient. We got the BBQ Mixed Plate and Chicken Katsu Plate to go. The food was plentiful and tasty, However, I found the teriyaki beef to be quite salty and unusually garlicky. The BBQ chicken and kalbi (Korean ribs) that is also part of the BBQ mix, were good. The Katsu was also good. This is as good as you can expect for the price. So if you're craving some local Hawaiian grinds, this ain't a bad place to go. Mahalo.
google avatar

Nicholas S.

Yelp
Picked the half and half. BBQ short ribs and chicken katsu. I feel like if I order it to go they give you more rice and macaroni salad. It's funny that they have this shirt hanging. It looks like a 20x. All I know is the tag is so large in the back you can see it was made one good ol' USA. Who knows what size it really is. But it's cool.
google avatar

Janil L.

Yelp
I ordered 2 plates of chicken katsu and 1 oxtail soup. The oxtail was very chewy and its hard to bite off the meat from the bone. They were only 2 piece of meat there. The chicken katsu was under cooked, and the taste i was looking for wasn't there. I talked to the manager, and the manager named "Mae" was not very helpful and very rude. I even asked her about the owners contact number so I would speak to him/her about the food I ordered. But she told me that she dont know the owner. The manager even told me to contact "Post mates" about the meat being chewy. So i would not recommend this place. Its a no for me, wasted 60$.
google avatar

Gozde S.

Yelp
They are always courteous as I look like a kid in a candy shop staring at the wall of delicious Hawaiian food options. If you're in the mood for soup, I recommend the oxtail soup. It is a VERY generous portion and the meat is always tender! Other favs are poke bowl, Hawaiian bbq beef, and spam musubi.

Yelp
I've been here a few times and this place is just not that good. If you're looking for authentic Hawaiian food, this will definitely be a disappointment. First, the staff aren't really attentive or helpful. They kind of just take your order. No personality and not very welcoming. For foods, the chicken Katsu that I've ordered a few times had a very bland taste to it. The outer coating was more soggy then anything. The sauce for the Katsu had a different taste to what I'm used to. It has a very watery texture to it. It comes with Mac salad which taste like pure mayonnaise and on the salty side. You probably wonder why I've ate here a "few" times like i mentioned in the beginning if I didn't like it. Well, the beau kinda likes this place and it's pretty close to his house so it's convenient when we need something quick and close by. But def not my "to go" Hawaiian joint.

Yelp
I usually go to the Sahara location, but gave this location and shot and I'm not sure if I'll be visiting them all together again. Ordered the shrimp + beef curry combination, the cashier punched the order correctly, but they gave me the wrong order. I'm not a picky eater so I was okay with it. The curry tasted old.... The freshest thing from the combo was the hamburger patty. Store hours are amazing if you're trying to eat late night, but you'd be better off eating fast food since you'd know you get fresher food.

Yelp
We love good Hawaiian food and this place is delicious! We have been coming here for years and have ordered so many different delicious items! We have our favorites and order them often! If you want delicious chicken katsuyama, katsu curry, or hamburger steak...this is the place! They dont skimp on the portions either! We are so glad this place has been around through the years and hopefully will continue to be for many more! We will be back as usual! :)
