Check out the karaoke lounge, open every night at 8 p.m. only at the Decatur and Sahara location, where you can sing with a two-drink minimum. First-time takeout from Aloha Kitchen was a total win! After a long day in Vegas, I wanted something delicious and easy to bring back to the hotel. Aloha Kitchen was perfect! Ordering was a breeze, and my food was ready right on time. I don't remember what I got but it was amazing! The flavors were so authentic. It was still hot and fresh when I got back to my room, and it made for the perfect relaxing dinner after a busy day. If you're looking for fantastic Hawaiian food to enjoy in your hotel room, Aloha Kitchen is the way to go!

We wanted some comfort food after Meeples. Went around 1030pm. The girl at the counter was super friendly. Informed us the fried chicken will take about 20mins, thanks for heads up! I got the aloha mixed plate. Prices were reasonable, especially for the portions. I wished all places have some sort of mixed plate option. We checked out the karaoke room/bar. It was dead, probably because it was a Wednesday night. Got my aloha plate after 15 mins. Everything was good, I’m a side of sauce person, so next time I’ll get it on the side. The fried chicken came 10 mins afterwards, there 3 huge thigh pieces! The texture reminded me of Popeyes, but not quite the flavor. Still good though. They also have simple plate deals after 10pm for $6! Overall, would I come here again? Perhaps if I’m in the area again.

The staff is super nice and helpful in bringing us extra sauces and accommodating our special request with our meal. Food was hot and fresh and the atmosphere was so chill and fun. Will definitely be back!

Google
First time coming to Aloha Kitchen. Super chill atmosphere, super friendly and helps with understanding what the food is on the menu. Would 100% come back

Google
Very good Hawaiian food. The fried pork belly was out of this world. How can something be SO crispy and crunchy, but SO tender and melt like butter in your mouth? Great service, and super good food. I’d definitely like to come back and try other options!

Google
I go to Aloha Kitchen pretty frequently. I just love the food & the vibes inside when dining in. It just takes me back from when I grew up in Hawaii. The food is spot on ono like it was back home. & I jam to the music too. This location in particular has late night $6 specials that I’ve ate at 2am before they close at 3am. Perfect for midnight meals & after a night of Heineken. This location also has a bar & karaoke room separate from the dining room. I ordered the Aloha Chicken & Chili combo plate. One big piece of super crispy fried chicken that comes with gravy, 2 scoop rice, bowl of chili, & either Mac salad or kimchi. The chili for real reminds me of when I had chili back during the hanabata days of elementary school. I also ordered the combo breakfast plate of Portuguese sausage & corned beef hash which came with 2 eggs cooked any style & a side of either white rice or tater tot’s. I’ve tried other items on the menu like their Kalbi & Hawaiian BBQ. All good! Staff are friendly; they take care of you. Food are all delicious, large portioned, & very affordable especially right now with everything getting expensive. Aloha Kitchen has been in Vegas for a long time, & I always went during my broke UNLV days. It’s a restaurant that’s definitely a spot on my regular food rotations & would definitely recommend to others.

Google
While I cannot rate on the food on this current excursion to Aloha Kitchen, I most certainly can rate on the service and atmosphere. I came in on a Friday night during karaoke. Nathan with a z and or g was the bartender. Nathan was polite and kind. The customer service was beyond compare. I genuinely appreciate that he not only took the time to provide stellar customer service, but also provided great company, laughs, and made me feel welcome. Aloha found a gem in Nathan! I will continue to come back again, and again. Not just for the great food, but for the amazing service!

Yelp
After the Twice concert, I was looking for comfort food to fill up my stomach after avoiding paying stadium prices for food. We arrived here around 11 PM and there was a line almost out the door. From regular patrons to other concert goers, this place was a such a vibe. I was searching through Yelp but nothing really looked appetizing until I stumbled upon Late Night Bites. Everything on the preselected menu was $5 and I was pleasantly surprised with the portions. Even after a 15 minute drive back to our hotel, the food was still hot and the katsu maintained its crispy-ness. Despite the chaotic nature since many people were waiting to order as well as picking up the food, the workers were super patient and friendly. Might just hit this place up again when I'm in town.

Yelp
Aloha kitchen and bar always gives the best. Aloha they are very nice. The food is done in a timely manner today I got the Hawaiian plate all rice, which is lau lau and kalua pig and side order of beef stew sauce. The kalua pig was good. Smoky. Because I was craving a dish called lava rocks. PS I made that. Trademarked. Lol the LAVA ROCK consist of Lau lau with beef stew sauce poured over. Trust me this is an experience. So lucky this is the only place that serves beef stew sauce as a side. REMEMBER WHERE YOU HEARD OF THE LAVA ROCK Best part food is always consistent !! I've never had their beef stew so this will be my first time. The beef stew sauce is a little bit liquidy, but still good and savory. The lava rock was amazing. It adds a nice flavor to the leafiness of the plate. This place come hungry, portions are good size. Or a second meal.

Yelp
I ordered the aloha plate to-go and was surprised at how unappealing this plate looked. This is by far the least appetizing islander meal that I have ever had. Mac salad was bland. Chicken katsu was looking a little old. The pork was barely flavorful and was drowned in that store bought teriyaki sauce. The teriyaki beef was the worse of them all! That beef was old and chewy and the teriyaki sauce could not cover up how much that beef sucked! I used to work in a Japanese restaurant and can tell when I am served old food. Very disappointed. Best thing was the quick service.

Yelp
Best Hawaiian place in town. The ambiance of this joint is good and staff are great. The place close till late hours. I like the Loco moco the gravy is perfect.

Yelp
I've been coming here for over 7yrs now and they never disappoint! One of the BEST spots for Hawaiian food. The service is TOP NOTCH Sedelle remembered me AND my exact order after not being there for over 4yrs!! Down to the me wanting my teriyaki sauce on the side. So impressive! The restaurant is fairly big with about 12-15 tables inside. You can't beat that they're open late too!
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered one rice dish and three soups with varying quality. Garlic chicken meat was great and had strong garlic taste but the additional straight up sprinkled garlic powder to finish off the dish was a little too much, even though I'm a garlic lover. The soups were just okay. Be aware the won-ton saimin only comes with 2 won-tons. However, we were disappointed that the noodles felt like they were sitting for a long time and it gets that "clumpy" texture where too many are sticking together. That's sort of my pet peeve with noodles is when they clump. I bet other dishes are great, but as most of my family are soup eaters it didn't leave a lasting impression.

Yelp
Love coming here for late night! I've tried almost everything on the menu and everything has been great

Yelp
Stop by here for some of your favorite Hawaiian dishes. I ordered one of my favorites, the Loco Moco. I prefer my eggs cooked over-easy, so that's what I requested. It was delicious and very flavorful. I added a bit of Tabasco sauce to give it a kick. I could've finished it all, but I wanted to save a little bit for later and took it back to my hotel. I came here on a Tuesday during lunch and it wasn't too bad of a wait. The island vibe music playing throughout the restaurant was a nice touch.

Yelp
Food was good, staff was very nice & friendly ambiance was cool they have a karaoke room they are also open late hours

Yelp
Ordered online $30 worth got here to add 2 can sodas while we dine in and they wouldn't allow a $7 charge for those sodas. Lady asked for permission and dude said no too. No offer for water or anything. We went to the smoke shop for drinks back. Beef was dry.
google avatar

Judy L.

Yelp
Ordered the BBQ mix plate with mahi mahi, beef, and teriyaki chicken, with mac salad and rice. The teriyaki sauce on top and the tartar sauce for the fish was really tasty, sweet and flavorful. I also really enjoyed the spam musubis, only thing is it just felt like a lot of rice for me, but I am trying to eat less rice nowadays. Next time I will get 2 scoops of mac salad instead of one, and one scoop of rice . The service was quick and effecient, they bring the food out to your table after giving you a number card. The place is cozy, and relaxed, we opted for a booth. They played some fun Island music, I heard "Wade in Your Water" while we were dining, which is a great song that I Shazamed before at the water lantern festival . It was a quick visit this time, but everytime we go back it's consistent and yummy.

Yelp
Well today I came in and had the Loco Moco. My eggs were good and I had a decent amount of rice as an islander, but tonight the hamburger was junk. I think it's frozen and not fresh and when I got it the hamburger was solid, really chewy. When you eat fresh hamburgers you get spoiled at how soft and tasty it is. No taste tonight. Still hungry after paying almost $20 to eat here. Not eating the Loco Moco here anymore. Granted they have good food here but not the Loco Moco. I should've stuck with my Pork Adobo but who knows, by the time I get it the meat might not be soft anymore.
google avatar

Janelle A.

Yelp
Delicious oxtail soup and must try adobo fried rice omelette! New items on the menu is the karaage chicken and crispy pork belly, as we walked in the had samples for us to try them and we definitely loved and ordered the crispy pork belly!

Yelp
We were in town with 16 volleyball girls from Reno, NV. 20 of us in total. Aloha Kitchen took care of us from start to finish. Answered questions about the specials and gave recommendations. Seating area was clean and easy to seat our large group. All our orders were brought out to us efficiently. Some of our girls had never had spam before. Aloha Kitchen made them appreciate what the rest of has always known. Don't knock it until you've fried it.

Yelp
First time coming here after living in Las Vegas for almost 8yrs, we were craving Hawaiian food for lunch so we decided to stop by. I got the moco loco w a order of Mac salad and my husband got the saimin soup, honestly it's just ok and the portions for the price you pay is small. We usually go to aloha specialties at the California hotel and the portions are way bigger and it's more cheaper and the food taste a lot better. Not saying the food here don't taste good it is except for the macaroni salad they have was really bland. Probably won't be back here there's another Hawaiian joint that taste better specially for the price. Also the young girl taking our orders seems like she didn't want to be there.

Yelp
I love Hawaiian food! I've had a fair share of Kalua pork and this one did not disappoint at all! Amazing seasoning and flavor! I got the chicken katsu and Kalua combo with a side of Mac salad and rice, it was all delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
I have been a patron of this establishment since the year 2000. The culinary experience consistently delivered here is exceptional, earning my endorsement as the best Hawaiian cuisine in my discerning opinion. While I have explored alternative dining options, none have surpassed the quality offered here. Although there has been a slight increase in prices, it remains reasonable, and it has not dissuaded my continued patronage. My only reservation pertains to the elevated cost of fountain drinks, a minor concern amid an otherwise commendable dining experience. I extend my gratitude for consistently providing exceptional food over the course of two decades.

Yelp
Found this spot on Yelp and thought we give it a try. There's two side of the place. We walked into the restaurant side. It's a walk up to the counter and order what you want kind. Then sit wherever you like. There's cute wall painting with butterflies for pictures. Even though it was 8:30 in the morning, they have an extensive menu you can order. Corn beef hash with rice and eggs - It was good. *not pictured* Wonton noodles Saimin - kids said it tasted like Costco dumplings. Not homemade and not so good *not pictured* Beef burger and fries - very juicy and good. Would come back and try other things on the menu

Yelp
Fabulous! The late night bites were pretty big portions! The lumpia was delicious!! No chopsticks though, boo :((( Pro-tip: You can leave your dishes at the table #LGSbach

Yelp
I was on the struggle bus and was really craving Hawaiian oxtail soup. It was way too early for most restaurants and I went on Yelp and found this one. The folks at the counter were so nice and patient with me as a took way too long to order even though I only came here for OXTAIL SOUP at 10am. The broth immediately took over my palate and made me feel like home, it went down to my stomach and soothed my hangover. The oxtails were fall of the bone and Aloha Kitchen gave me plenty. The CARROTS were my favorite part adding a sweetness and soaking up the flavor. The noodles were springy and soft. When I'm in town I will definitely come again.
google avatar

Ali H.

Yelp
We decided to dine in and it was a bad mistake. The server never once came up to our table but checked on everyone else in the restaurant. On top of that, who charges $1.50 per teriyaki sauce? If I'm buying $60 worth of food, at least throw some in there and give it to me early when I ask for it. It already came with my meal and the cashier refused to give it to me and charged me for it. He got super loud and wasn't willing to give it to me unless I paid for extra. The chicken was super dry so I'd avoid that as well. Avoid this place at all costs the staff suck and they charge for every little thing. I'm surprised they didn't charge for napkins and utensils.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite delivery spots for work. It is always taste fresh. They never miss an order. Food is presently nicely and huge portions. Our top orders for about 3-6 employees are the following: 1 always ordered the Spam Musubi and 2nd the pork lumpia soooo good! ALWAYS add it to any order. We love the Kalbi Combo Plate which comes with the kalbi ribs, chicken bbq, katsu, rice and macaroni. The Chicken and Tempura Combo is always good. Surprisingly the tempura shrimp is not soggy when traveling about 5 miles. I definitely recommend this spot and will continue to order for a delicious late Night Shift lunch.

Veronica P.

Yelp
My favorite late night place to go, the deals are great for late night happy hour and very good service and chill place. My favorite is the ramen oxtail soup and the chicken teriyaki bowl!

Yelp
I ate food from here on September 23, 2023 at approximately 10:30-11am. I had the BBQ chicken plate with the macaroni salad, later that evening I had all the symptoms of food poisoning, I ate with a group of 5 and 4 out of 5 of us (myself included) were vomiting the entire way home from Vegas to Cali. 0/10 would not recommend. ps. Employees don't take accountability and are hostile when this information was brought up to them. Pss. Here's photos of our car after our vomit comet experience.

Yelp
We never miss the opportunity to dine at this place when we come to Vegas. They have a couple of locations out here, but we some how always find our way off to Decatur so we make it a point to pop over to his joint. We never pass up the adobo fried rice omelette! But this time was also got the loco moco and chicken katsu. The omelette is so gigantic that you can share with 2 people. If we were home it would go home with me for my next day meal, but since we are not from Vegas....we sadly had to put most of it to waste. We really tried to put it all in our belly. The other two meals were just alright...nothing spectacular that I haven't had elsewhere outside of Hawaii. We also had to order to Hawaiian Suns and a side order of lumpia! I would say we all come out here for the Adobo Fried Rice Omelette! Everything else we can get anywhere else in San Diego. Service was good, but they can get a little training in customer service and being attentive to their incoming customers.

Yelp
The young Asian boy working today Tuesday morning is TERRIBLE. He literally says no to everything and doesn't care. Fire him. "Can I upgrade my rice to fried rice?" Boy: no. We don't have fried rice (it's in the menu) "Do you guys have ginger for the oxtail soup?" Boy: no. We dont. "Do you guys have shoyu?" Boy: *stares at us l* yeah we have shoyu *long pause* us: "so...... can you bring it to us?" (Wtf) Boy: here's your Tabasco. Me: *looks what he brought* (it was sriracha) The other girl who was working was great and brought us everything we asked for. Cuz they had all of this that boy just literally doesn't care. The oxtail soup was very meaty. Not my favorite but I didn't have much expectation. I just really wanted oxtail. But my good the carrots threw me lol what a tragedy to put that in oxtail soup
google avatar

Jessica B.

Yelp
I love this place. I found them on yelp and have been obsessed with spam musubi. I usually find parking right out in the front. My usual order is a few spam, musubi's and a chicken teriyaki bowl with Mac salad on the side. I really like their canned juices. I get the passionfruit or the guava. Tmake it easier I called the order in and it is ready at about 10 to 15 minutes. The place has a real cool vibe. It's always clean and plenty of seating. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you like Hawaiian food
google avatar

Dee G.

Yelp
Our favorite place to eat in Vegas. We order the ramen and oxtail soup it's delicious!

Yelp
I have been going to this establishment ever since they opened I understand that the price has increased there are other Hawaiian places to go to that is not this price with this very little food I understand that some people that live around the area they would prefer to go there. Don't get me wrong the food is good the prices are so unreasonable when you look at the kimchi the price of it is basically buying a whole bottle at the store for one tiny little serving that makes absolutely no sense it's already bad enough that of course the beef will be high that is to be expected and the chicken will be high that is to be expected but there are just certain things that don't need to be so high because when you add up the price of grocery store even at the Asian market it doesn't make sense so macaroni salad it is one of the cheapest things to make and if you price it at the store the ingredients to purchase mac salad should not be that price that they have just look at their menu you don't have to take my word for it I haven't been back since the pandemic happened and I won't be returning because there are other Hawaiian places that I've gone to where the price is not that high and the price for the kimchi is actually only $1.75 or dollar so just look at their prices and compare it to grocery stores or other Hawaiian places you will see that it does not make sense.

Yelp
Had takeout, From the comments I thought this place had changed since the last time I was there.. not the case. Only complaint is the local plate is listed at 13 bucks on Yelp, it's actually 16.25 and well worth it for the amount of food you get and it's always steaming. Huge masubi (excellent) good sauce on chicken and beef‍
google avatar

Jeremy C.

Yelp
Always have to come here or any of the other locations before leaving Las Vegas!!!! The food is amazing for the price. All the food is filling and feels like local grindz. If you are in Vegas this is a must stop. Yes, it is a off the strip but that's where a lot of the great local dives are. So come by. Service is great and the inside is just a normal looking restaurant.
google avatar

Yelp
Went in w my brother and 9 year old daughter for $5 chicken teriyaki 5/26. Several teenagers cursing by the soda machine filling up green Shasta can full of soda over and over again! They kept swearing and the staff ignores the situation. Us folks go in and the kids (teenagers) are screwing around constantly swearing and being obnoxious made out visit not so good. I went up and filled my water cup w sprite and got yelled at by staff! I said so, it's ok if the kids get free sodas who aren't of age to be out but my daughter and I and brother get yelled at! So if you are friends of the staff, fill up your Shasta cups full of sodas (unlimited) but if you are a paying customer and wish to get soda for the kid it's not ok! Neighborhood teenagers welcome all hours of the night and do as they want, others NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! Good value for the food as I picked this over others in this category but be aware it's a safe sport for the youngsters all hours of the night and they can do what they want and curse and act out of line and act like ghetto 13-15 year olds out on the prowl because no one's going say anything or stop them! Was I wrong for getting the 1/2 cup of soda for my daughter yes, but they let me down for not controlling the situation that lead up to this. The fact they don't follow up w any reviews tells me; they just don't care!

Yelp
I'm here for lunch. This seems like a Hawaiian fast food joint, but getting your food is not fast at all. Popular it is not... there's only me and a couple of other people. I ordered the saimin soup. Got number 71 for my table. Nothing Hawaiian about the dining area. 20 minutes later, it was brought to my table. The bowl's presentation looked appetizing...noodles, cut egg omelette strips, and meat in chicken broth. The taste however, didn't match. It was pedestrian. At least it was better than if I made cup o noodles at home. Next time, I'll order Kailua pig or moco loco. Aloha.
google avatar

Cornelius B.

Yelp
This place is just okay. I'm am a full time Manager/Chef at a Hawaiian BBQ spot in Texas so I'm really very particular when it comes to Hawaiian food. I got the aloha mix which was definitely enough to feed 2 people. The BBQ chicken was okay but didn't have the burst of flavor I was looking for. The katsu was pretty good but I prefer my katsu on the thin and crispy side this was more thicker and soggy but the flavor was good. My favorite thing on the plate was the teriyaki beef it was great not to chewy and had excellent flavor. The Mac was okay but it really didn't have much seasoning besides the mayo. The lumpia were pretty good and something I'll come back for.

Yelp
Hour ago to breakfast spot every time we are in Las Vegas! Our favorites are the adobo egg omelette and banana pancakes. Everything else is also bomb af! But try these two items first. They are a must in every order. The perfect comfort food whether you are hungry or hung over.

Yelp
We recently visited this restaurant during our holiday trip and had a great experience. The food was delicious and the service was good. The restaurant was spacious and had a fun atmosphere - we could hear people singing and having a good time in the bar area. We ordered the tapsilog and kalbi combo plate and were impressed by the flavorful food and good quality meat. The portions were generous and the price was reasonable. Overall, we had a great time at this restaurant and would definitely come back again.

Yelp
Oxtail Soup is to die for here!!! It comes with 2 big scoop of rice! Aloha Kitchen & Bar has step their game up! The food is delicious! I will be coming back more often!
google avatar

Yelp
I completely forgot this place existed until last month. I used to come here every weekend back in the high school days. And they have renovated! The food is so good. Food comes out HOT. They used to have the student special-chicken teriyaki and drink but they no longer offer that combo. So I ordered a chicken teriyaki and a drink LOL we also ordered musicians, Mac salad, lumpia. All were so good. The chicken teriyaki is extra yummy because they have a thin layer of crunchy skin on it. And the French fries come out so hot!!!!!! Love it here. So glad to be back
google avatar

Nina M.

Yelp
This is near a lot of auto repair shops, so it's an ideal location for a lot of people. I went here after walking around to see what my options are and ultimately selected this place to get a bite to eat (I have a 3-hour wait before my car is finished). The price point is decent for the amount of food they provide (they don't skimp out either!). I got the chicken teriyaki bowl over rice for about $8 and a bottle of water. The chicken teriyaki is really good with a nice balance of flavor - enough chicken to go with the rice they provide as well. Their employees are nice and cordial, and it looks like a lot of people order takeout from this location as well. I would visit this place again for anyone hungry.

Yelp
I hate giving a one-star review for restaurants, because they all have their off days. BUT, this was just horrible. The cashier who took my order was friendly, the place looked clean and big with plenty of space. I ordered the Aloha Plate with chicken katsu, teriyaki beef and teriyaki chicken. It came with a container of katsu sauce and macaroni salad. The mac was bland and a bit dry. The teriyaki was overly sweet. The beef and chicken katsu was very dry, almost to dry to chew. The rice was old and dried out. I took a couple bites of each item then bit into a piece of rancid beef. This is why they get 1 star. Threw the whole thing out. This might be something for the health board to check on.
google avatar

Steven B.

Yelp
Getting rid of the "student special" after 20 years gets you a middle finger! Simple chicken teriyaki bowl and a drink is $15 now. "Go to Maryland Pkwy if you want that deal" was their response. As the 8th best Hawaiian restaurant in town you might want to try better. Never again, take care!
google avatar

Nathan S.

Yelp
Went here today to get my wife oxtail soup and I tried for the very first time the Aloha kitchen Fried Chicken plate which was served with Ono Brown gravy and got some fries on the side. Lunch was so Ono (Delicious). Food was so good as always. Stop by and get some good local grinds and go if you in the mood for karaoke the aloha bar is right next door
google avatar

Lynn Z.

Yelp
The food is so delicious and always fresh. There is no wrong selection , anywhere from appetizers eggs lumpia Shanghai to main entree. A lot of delicious dishes you can choose from. The service is amazing and always on point with providing you options and very patient in answering your questions. Customer service is phenomenal! The ambience is amazing, with great music. You can also enjoy the bar next door with karaoke and music!! I highly recommend the Sahara and Decatur location!!
google avatar

Yelp
From the Hawaiian music playing to the workers with the Aloha spirit, it felt just like we were back home. The food tasted as thought we were at a family cookout - 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a taste of home (if you're from Hawai'i) or if you love authentic Hawaiian food!

Yelp
Very disappointed after spending $100+ here on really terrible food. For it being a "Hawaiian Style Food" spot they really do it a disservice. The rice itself soooo mushy , Mac salad terrible barely any mayo and absolutely NO SEASONING like cmonnnn how can you mess up the two main things on a plate?! Then the 2 fried checked plate we got was absolutely disgusting. Whoever made that should be fired immediately. Mahi-mahi was overcooked, chicken katsu so bland and terrible. Kalbi had 6 cut up pieces that were super small and thin. Oxtail ramen tasted like nothing. There was no seasoning on anything. Pork adobo fried rice was decent, but the pork adobo tasted like it was from 1 week ago. I will never ever be coming here again. I am just disgusted and very disappointed to even know that this is a Hawaiian Style restaurant. Need better food, better cooks etc. just terrible

Yelp
Stood in line for 20 minutes just to find out I'm not able to slide my debt card here I left hungry.

Yelp
This place was not bad, it was my first time here and we orders like a couple different plates. I got the mahi mahi and katsu combo. I thought it was gotta be a panko covered mahi mahi slab deep fried but no. It was a slab of fish pan fried. That plate was alright. The other was the beef curry plate. That was also alright. Then the Hawaiian combo was good and the katsu adobo combo finalized our table order. The dishes were excellent and good portion. Kinda busy for a Sunday which means this place is known. The ambiance was nice and open. Check them out when you in the area and want Hawaiian local food.

Yelp
Friendly staff, good service, the noodles were average but the broth and pork were awesome. Would recommend.

Yelp
Not to my liking. I expected better only because I saw that the previous year or so it was ranked best in Las Vegas.
