This place looks worn and old, both from the exterior and interior, but don't let the aesthetic of the building dissuade you from trying their amazing food. We were craving ox tail soup, but our go-to places at the hotels were already closed. Theirs was simple but tasted good. Hubby ordered the sampler plate combo with 2 proteins, macaroni, and rice. It was tasty was well. We ordered a side of the Kahlua pork to try, and it was tasty as well. Overall, this place offers good food at decent prices and they are open till 10 pm, even on weeknights. Our cashier/server was also very friendly and helped us decide on dishes to try.

My first time ever eating here! I met long time friends there. They would eat this all the time, while going to UNLV. I was just happy to see my friends! But, the food was absolutely delicious! We had a little bit of everything! And everything was delicious! 😋 Can't wait to go back! Thanks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Customer Service is Quality & Family is Priority

I've heard good things about this place but should have paid attention to the reviews, extremely disappointed!! I'd been driving all day from Salt Lake City, so I did an Uber eats order. Chicken Katsu with Gravy and all Mac Salad. As you can see this isn't Katsu, and clearly so over cooked it's not edible. The Mac Salad tastes like white pepper and nothing else. I travel a ton for work (every week) and eat tons of Hawaiian BBQ. This is the worst place I've ever tried. I definitely won't be eating there again.

Google
A Hawaiian cuisines sampler small restaurant chain in Vegas. It offers popular dishes of many cultures and groups of who have come to call the islands of Hawaii home. Ironically, besides a pork dish and the popular Spam (luncheon meat), there are no native Polynesian dishes here. Most of the dishes are fusion American staples and Korean, Japanese and Filipino native dishes. My combo meal of Kalbi (Korean short ribs), Katsu (Japanese fried chicken cutlets) and Japanese beef Teriyaki with rice and a Filipino spring roll (pork filled) was not bad for the price. Basic and plain decor and clean place. Service was good and the young lady was helpful and friendly.

Google
Food could be better, rice was dry, the macaroni was flavorless, chicken katsu and teriyaki was good. Portions were very small compared to the price, $10 per a loco moco bowl and $14 per a combination plate, they charged $4 tip on the to go orders without telling me, first and last time here. Customer service was ok.

Google
I am a real serious lumpia fanatic, theirs doesn't let down but it's the sauce my God that sauce js to die for! I also had the loco moco, it was absolutely delicious yummy garlicky rice. Nom nom. i It was worth waiting almost an hour for, for sure!! Since moving to Vegas this is the first time I can say I've had some decent South Pacific cuisine. Highly recommend.

Google
Yummy food fast service this place makes me feel like home definitely going back again🥰

Yelp
Aloha Kitchen! It is a Hawaiian based restaurant in Las Vegas with several locations! First pic is the Teriyaki combo & the second is the Aloha combo. The food is delicious and they serve A LOT for the price (refer to last pic for the receipt). We definitely had left overs. We would rate it an 8/10, the only thing that is so-so is the macaroni, since we've tried better Hawaiian inspired macaroni. Service is fast and ambiance is cute with artwork on walls. Dining area looks like regular fast food joint, not fancy.

Yelp
Aloha Kitchen has to be my top place in Vegas for Hawaiian food there portions are great there menu is awesome and customer service is the best.. my favorite have to be Kalbi special Siamin soup loco moco and teriyaki chicken and who can forget the Mac Salad the best in town... average price are from 10-13 but so worth it you can also call in and order to go... place 10/10

Cheryl T.

Yelp
Excellent Hawaiian food! We had the oxtail soup, the combo of lau lau & Kailua pork & the Kalbi ribs. The Kalbi ribs was very well seasoned, one of the best I ever tasted. The kailua pork was very moist, it actually come in a bowl with the juices, the juice was great for putting it on the rice. I really liked the Kailua pork usually it is abit dry but not theirs. The oxtail soup was out of this world... very tasty & well seasoned! The lau lau was ok, not one of their best though. I will definitely come back again.. so worth it!

Yelp
Shit was mid for sure Just kidding it's good enough to finish It allows dine in and Togo It's quiet inside

Bradley K.

Yelp
Delish to say the least. Will it cover your cravings for Hawaiian food? Sure. Is it the best? No. Gotta say that the adobo fried rice omelette was a huge delicious portion and worth every penny. Ate on it for two days. Chicken Katsura was great. Mahi-mahi cooked well. Took my family here and we had a good meal!

Gladis C.

Yelp
Does any body now why is it close? The one in lamb and charleston this is the second Sunday and i pass by and they look close.

Jorge C.

Yelp
Simply great food! Can't ask for more! Lots of flavor! Always the same! It's in my top 5 forsure

Mina R.

Yelp
Waited a long time for my food just to be served a cold meal. This place was not busy at all. The freshest thing brought to my table was the lumpia Shanghai rolls. Those were decent compared to other places I've had. I ordered the combination teryaki plate but for some reason I was rung up and served a chicken teriyaki plate. Not the same thing. It tasted good but like I said. The food was cold like it sat in the back for a lil while before being served to us. This place could be a great spot. Just need to get food out quicker to the customers.

Tiffany S.

Yelp
Couldn't pass this up after finding them on Yelp. I wanted something local before heading back to the Airbnb. This did not disappoint. They were busy and handled it flawlessly. All the food that went out to other tables looked amazing! My friend and I shared the Katsu and Lumpia and we had plenty leftover. Highly recommend eating here!

Ernest N Melissa M.

Yelp
Yep definitely gonna come back when we make the next trip. People were very friendly very nice ambiance.

Yelp
I placed an order on UberEats because my family and I have COVID-19. An entree I was really craving while quarantining was Chicken Katsu. I ordered Chicken Katsu and asked for extra Katsu sauce on the side (I didn't care if they charged me more for it either, I just want extra sauce). Well, to my shocking surprise, I opened my meal to see rice and battered chicken with NO KATSU SAUCE! And NO EXTRA KATSU ON THE SIDE!! Like, wth. How do you as a chef send out food, especially an item lacking it's MAIN SUBSTANCE? And the person who's supposed to be double checking the order to make sure is just as incompetent because how do you not see the chicken Katsu is LACKING KATSU SAUCE??? I just want katsu on my chicken at the very least if you're going to forget the extra sauce on the side as well! Anyways, I called the restaurant to complain about the situation because I'm hungry, upset and feel cheated. I feel defeated because we're paying a delivery service to get our food because we really shouldn't go anywhere for the sake of everyone's safety and health. But these idiots asked us to drive there to pick up two Katsu sauce. So, you're telling me we should drive all the way over there to pick up 2 Katsu sauce that your incompetence forgot to put on the damn chicken? AND read the notes where it says extra Katsu sauce on the side. If we had to drive, why would we bother using UberEats in the first place?! Make that make sense! Second, you want us to leave quarantine after telling you we all have COVID to pick up sauces for a mistake YOU MADE!!! Then the guy on the phone admits to making the mistake but won't come cause we have COVID-19. At this point, I wouldn't even trust them to drop it off to me without spitting in it, but I am still so upset and appalled by their customer service and responses. He said next time we come, they'll give us an extra Katsu sauce for free to make up for it! LMAO ***FREE SAUCE*** !!!! He really said that. "Free sauce" When Island Flavor fucked up my order last time and gave me Chicken teriyaki instead of the beef teriyaki on my combo plate and I spoke with them about it, they apologized and offered me the same meal but corrected, free of charge the next time I came in. Not free fucking sauce like WTF. I can't even eat the food. It won't taste the same and I'm blatantly upset and starving now. Thanks. I will never frequent this business ever again or give them my business on any food delivery app. I'm letting all my friends and family members know this place doesn't deserve their business because they lack customer service or any decency to try and fix this. Can't even appropriately compensate someone on their meal. If you've made it this far, I highly discourage you from coming here too. I mean, lot at their other reviews. That's why this place can't even maintain a decent 4 star rating.

Rosa Z.

Yelp
Great food, i come here maybe every week. my favorite plate is the chicken katsu the kimchi is good as well

Pat A.

Yelp
Small dining area and huge portions. Friendly staff and good food. Stop in and say hi.

Collen P.

Yelp
authentic 808 flavor and much better than your typical L&L and other HI BBQ imo. Highly recommend their onolicious Saimin even on a scorching Vegas summer day. Go right in as it may seemed closed from the outside but they're open from 10-10pm Daily. Will be returning for takeout tomorrow!!

Matthew S.

Yelp
This place is the best Hawaiian in las Vegas. Open late and generous portions. They know how to keep the hungry visitor happy!

Rich T.

Yelp
Terrible Customer service! Very arrogant and snobby manager Joey. It's sad she leaves Carlos in charge knowing he can't understand , got mostly bones on my 15$ rib plate, and if u say anything they'll tell u not to come back or eat somewhere else. Most times it seems as though the cashiers dislike there jobs, childish kids that act like stoned zombies. Word of advice, please treat your customers better, we know your teriyaki its great.

Lexy S.

Yelp
I was craving a loco moco plate... so I decided to give this place a chance. I was hungry and tired from a full day. Stopped by on my way home to pick up food. Got home super excited to eat what I was craving only to find out... THERES NO EFFING GRAVY?!!! WTF is a loco moco WITHOUT the gravy. like HOW can you forget it???? the party itself is DRY and i paid an extra $3.50 for an additional patty. NOT WORTH $10.99 for a single patty and two eggs with NO GRAVY. DONT CALL IT A LOCO MOCO IF YOURE GONNA SKIP THE GRAVY! They didnt even serve mac salad with the plate. WHAT KIND OF HAWAIIAN PLACE IS THIS????!

Nancy C.

Yelp
Awesome flavors to their food! Clean environment and variety of dishes! Service is good and friendly every time I've been there!

Anthony L.

Yelp
I came back and had an excellent experience. Looks look they changed management. They had someone cleaning, cashier had good customer service, and he let me know that the soda machine are free refills. Thanks for the better experience!

Sal E.

Yelp
Great food but double check your orders to make you have everything. They will call you liars over phone,if you are missing an item. Bummer we were frequently there

Kapua Z.

Yelp
Better than l & l by far. Good selection of Chinese and Hawaiian food as well. Always clean but bathrooms hardly open. Service can use a little smile.

Casmina Y.

Yelp
The food here is chef's kiss. Awesome crew members who were very welcoming! If you want to feel like you're back at home in the island you better come here! Even the atmosphere is relaxing and the islander music hits home! Props to whoever made that playlist because shheeeeesshhh It's giving backyard bbq with the family. It's not too fancy, it's simple but perfect as it is.

Trae Y.

Yelp
I come here a lot to get food. But cashier here doesn't know how to take orders, they make mistake and they still blame you for it. I even heard they talk bad and laugh in Spanish. Worst service ever!

Keven H.

Yelp
I love this place especially for being a college student their portions are amazing for their price. I recommend this for every student that wants to get their moneys worth.

Alonso S.

Yelp
There food was so delicious the service was good if you go I would recommend the local plate although the beef was a bit soggy and to much sauce overall is was so good

Chantalle U.

Yelp
This restaurant is a staple in my neighborhood and none of their other locations have ever let me down for some great Hawaiian food. My go to is Spam Musubi and mac salad, but honestly everything is good.

Carolina P.

Yelp
I loveee this place, my go to every time; food taste great & their service is the best

Michelle G.

Yelp
Today I ate the Loco moco and it was okay but then I found a hair in my food. I know this happens but I was starving and it just it was all too gross. It was a mid length hair that was mostly white. Trust me it stood out once I compared it to the gravy. Unfortunately, I lost the hair now I gotta sleep with this hair around me and afraid I might inevitably eat it this time around instead of the first time around. I will be on the lookout sadly. Once again it was okay food but not coming back here for awhile.

Destiny H.

Yelp
Great food and service! Everyone is extremely kind and generous. I always order over the phone and I've never had any issues!

Taylor P.

Yelp
The food has always been good but today I went in and there was only a couple there who had already gotten their food. Anyways I order my food and about 5 different groups of people walk in while I wait for my food. Every single one of those groups got their food before I did and I saw my food sitting on their window where they get their food for more than half the time I was waiting. Its not like I was being rude either, I tipped them and everything. However if I'm gonna pay that much for my food I would expect the service to be a little better

Paul G.

Yelp
Aloha kitchen is one of the best values you will ever have for to go food, especially Hawaiian. They pack their boxes with a lot of chicken! This is one of the best kept secrets in orange county food. I will never go to any other Hawaiian food place around here.

Hugo V.

Yelp
I was feeling some food so I decided to stop at Aloha kitchen. This place is great if you're looking for good food at a fair price. The vibes are really casual making it a good place to dine in and is pretty fast if your trying to get some take out. The place clean and the staff was nice, I recommend trying the Hawaiian Sun Juice, which is a nice change of pace from the regular soda and is something you won't find and most other restaurants. Nothing but good vibes from here.

Robert B.

Yelp
I ordered the Hawaiian bbq combo plate. The beef was tough and hard to swallow. The meat quality is not very good and it was sliced into small pieces swimming into a very sweet bbq sauce. I only ate half of the food and ended up throwing the rest of it out because it was so sweet that I was afraid it would spike my blood sugar. The chicken was a small portion and drowning in bbq sauce as well. I wasn't impressed. Definitely not coming back. I gave this place a 3 star because the place is very very clean when I came in at 9 pm.

Bud P.

Yelp
If you're looking for good Hawaiian food this is not the place you want to go to. Can you imagine bad rice? That's where it starts. Goes down hill from there.

Cal D.

Yelp
This place is very over rated, I've had much better at a food chain Hawaiian bbq place. The mahi mahi was okay nothing special, dry a little. The chicken teriyaki tasted a little old and funky and like some other review said it seems like they just throw the teriyaki sauce on top at the end, it was also watery and all I tasted was sugar. The macaroni salad was a big no because of its strong chemical taste. Even the white rice was over cooked. It was all mushy. Maybe I went on a bad day, Saturday afternoon. I doubt it.

Rad M.

Yelp
There are places in Las Vegas where you look at it and you wonder, how could this place still be in business. This was one of those places. Then you actually pay the place a visit and you figure it out. Aloha Kitchen on Charleston shouldnt be judged by its outer appearance. I was very happy I tried it out. On curb appeal, it gets a 2 at best. Location has a lot of riff raff walking around and the exterior of the building is pretty run down. Inside clean, modern, sanitary, and pretty cool looking. Its a walk up and order style place, but they bring the food out like any sit down restaurant on real plates and silverware. Service was very friendly. Unfortunately, they only have 1 employee taking orders, doing phone and catering orders, and serving the food. It slows it down quite a bit, but she is a hard worker and hustles pretty good. Once the order was taken, the food was served fast. To the best part. Food was AWESOME and the portion sizes were huge compared to most places in town. This was the first time in a long time that when she put down our plates of food, I was legitimately pumped up and excited. It was like the opening bell to start a huge ppv fight or something. The appetizers were great, all of the food was great. We got the lumpia, the Aloha plate was excellent! All of the meats were perfect. The kahlua pig was delicious. Katsu was a bit on the fried side if you dont lik that but I usually do. Sides were perfect. Everything is super affordable and fairly priced. Dont let the location scare you away. This place has been one of the biggest surprises I have came across in Las Vegas as far as something that isnt considered high end fine dining. I know for sure, by the years end I will have tried every single item on this menu. If you have $10 and want to roll the dice, this is the place.

Corey B.

Yelp
My local go to for Kalbi when I am not making it at home. I love their Kalbi and Kim Chi. It is very close to me so perfect!

Peter S.

Yelp
Delicious Hawaiian food! We would definitely come back again! And recommend it to all.

Amazon r.

Yelp
This food is amazing a famous Vegas spot deep on Eastside but well worth the travel I definitely recommend this place if your a fan of Hawaiian food you won't find anything better in vegas

Jessica S.

Yelp
Went here with my husband for lunch. The service was really good and the food was delicious. Recommend this place.

Erin L.

Yelp
I ordered the fried saimin and was very disappointed to take a big bite and get a mouthful of pork fat! I then looked through the noodles and found that there were no edible pork pieces just pieces of fat. To charge $9 for a bowl of noodles and fat is ridiculous and I can't even eat it because I'm now just nauseous from it. Garbage! It's what it is and it's where it's going. If I could give zero stars I would. First time and last time eating here.

Bria M.

Yelp
My favorite place to get lumpia from. I usually get the burger and lumpia but this time majority of the food was burnt. Edible but burnt.

Caleb O.

Yelp
Service was horrible, Cashier was very rude and had a bad attitude. For the price its good food but the service isn't very good. Took around 30-40 minutes to get my food.

Carlos A.

Yelp
Terrible service I asked for two combinations plates and took me 35 just to get them . People ordered after me got there food first and ordered same amount of food . Won't be coming here again . There very rude as well .

Teresa L.

Yelp
Used the option for special instructions and it was ignored. Why have it then? Waste of money and I like aloha kitchen. Is it yelp or Grubhub or aloha kitchens fault? No one will know.

Mady J.

Yelp
Very good food I thought It was pricey at first but you get a lot of food they fill your plates up definitely recommend to eat here!!

Liv R.

Yelp
I have been getting food from here for years. Today was the first time that the BBQ Chicken was dry and lacked flavor and I don't ever recall it being covered in seeds. The Mac salad had no flavor what so ever, was it mixed with yogurt instead. The Katsu chicken was burnt. I was very very disappointed.

M E.

Yelp
Food is good but sometimes they can take long even if you order ahead of time and there's been times when ur food is just sitting there and they take long to hand it to you, there is a lady who has been there for a while don't know her name she has a lot of tattoos and when she's there she's quick with your order!

Shauna H.

Yelp
I love the variety of dishes on the menu & the lumpia is delicious. My new favorite is the Fried rice adobo omelette you cannot eat this one alone! Keep up the good work Aloha Kitchen
