The service was slow and the food was mid. The avocado in my poke bowl still had half a peel and an avocado sticker on it! However, they did give a lot of salmon, which was surprising because most poke places skimp on the protein.

I order from Aloha quite often. Today my experience wasn't the best. I ordered via DoorDash and have never had any issues, especially since my order is very simple. What I ordered today and what I received were two different things. I did try calling the restaurant to no avail. Thankfully DoorDash refunded me for my purchase. I'll still order fr here, but today I was very disappointed. I have attached a photo of my order and what I received.

I ordered a big one, but it seems they gave me a small one instead. Since I have pay the big one price, I feel sad about that. As for the food itself, I ordered the salmon with volcano side. It tasted nice, but it is too spicy for me. It would be better to design the side by yourself instead of choosing the preselected side. The price is OK for the food and they serve the food in a quick speed. I may try again later, but I need to be careful about the food selection.

I enjoyed my food here. I got a big bowl and loaded it up. The cashier and the food preparers were so kind. I do think the food is a little overpriced, but service was quick and had adequate time to eat on my lunch break.

I'm So grateful for my experience here today, to be honest, I love the customer service here. Tracie and Dee were very welcoming and warm to me, just knowing that there are people like this here makes me smile! No one can do it better than they can. There is something special about this crew, I love it!!! Got my pokebowl but also got a boost of passion and energy I needed. I would highly recommend anybody looking for a quick and delicious and healthy. meal paired with great customer service to stop in here. Don't miss your Blessing.

This is an okay poke place. The cashier attendants are usually nice, and the service is quick. As for the ingredients, I prefer Poki DC for the variety and the fresh taste. Specifically, I wish Aloha had mango, masago, and other types of toppings. That said, I go here quite often, and it's one of the healthier and filling options available at this food court. Another reviewer complained about portion sizes, but I think that's subjective. I'm always pretty satisfied after eating a "big bowl" helping, and the pricing is average for any DC fast casual joint. There's nothing wrong with this place, really. The only reason I don't give it four stars is because there are better poke places in the city, but I am glad there's poke at Union Station.

Google
I like Aloha Poke mostly because they're the only fast-paced poke joint in this part of DC (that I know of). The fish quality is fine, but in terms of flavor and options, they do fall short. This also might be a personal preference, but I find their sauces and some ingredients too sweet as opposed to savory. Their rice is less sushi-rice like and more grainy as well. I prefer poke bowls from Poki DC or even Sticky Rice on H Street. They have better seasonings and the ingredients seem to blend better together than Aloha Poke. I will keep Aloha Poke in my back pocket for when I desperately need a poke fix, but I'm also happy to go out of my way to get something better.
