This was our first time trying this restaurant. Hubby has changed jobs and needed to find new spots for Friday dinner. Hubby got off early so he had me put the order in online and picked up. This would have been closer to lunch time. The food was absolutely delicious and was all ready and hot when he got there for pick up. The got the hawaii BBQ plate and I got the seafood one. Absolutely delicious. Even the next day was still delicious as left overs. Very large portions. I absolutely loved the Mac salad. Will def be going again and putting it on our regular rotation

I lived in Hawaii for over a decade and there were plate lunch shops everywhere...from Zippy's, L&L, to the smaller Mom and Pop places. Got a mix plate and it hits right! Kalbi was great, Mac salad made with Dukes, short grain rice with furikake... about as authentic as you can get! Will be my go to spot whenever I'm in this part of town.

Being from Hawaii and living in Henrico for 12 years there was no place for local Hawaiian food. I was excited to find this place. I ordered one of my favorites, chicken katsu. It was good, they nailed the crunch and the Mac salad was phenomenal. I did notice they use white meat for katsu. Most places in Hawaii uses thighs since it’s juicier and more forgiving when fried. I liked it overall, reminded me of home. I will definitely continue to come and order from there.

The food was good, I would definitely eat it again. My husband got a burger, and he said it was ok. The young lady should have told us the burger came with frys or that he couldn't exchange it for sweet potato frys. So we had a lot of frys. The pulled pork was very good and flavorful. They also do military discounts.

If you ever looking for some prime Hawaiian food, look no further. The katsu, bbq chicken, ribs were all phenomenal. The curry sauce, WOW!!! They are always friendly and give you large portions. If you get the loco moco. I suggest putting some flavor on the patty like salt or something similar.

The portions here were legitimately shocking for the price. Hawaiian Fire chicken lived up to it's name but with real flavor. If you love Hawaiian street food I would 100% recommend checking this place out.

Tried this place, and I'm a fan! The flavor of the rice & meat are awesome. I still have to figure out what sauces I like but in due time. My only gripe is when getting a combo, they put a lot of cabbage on the bottom of the tray to help fill space. If you order no veggies, you have 2 extra scoops of rice to fill space. Depending on order, the meat may be piled up, which is nice.

Great Great and great again. The customer service was great and so was the atmosphere. It was pretty busy but the food came out hot fresh and fast. The portions are large and very flavorful. I have not 1 complaint about this establishment.
