Google
Whatever city we visit we rate it based on their Thai food scene. Aloy did not disappoint. The food was spot on. Right amount of spice, flavorful but not too rich. Every dish was fresh and delicious. I had the eggplant stir fry and veg egg roles yum! We all loved the food, service and decore. Will come back.

Google
On a road trip from Canada and decided to try out Aloy Thai for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and so flavourful. The service was very fast too even with the restaurant being fully booked. We tried the satay chicken to start and had the yellow curry and the drunken noodles. All dishes were so good would highly recommend this place for authentic dishes.

Google
3 months since moving to the US, and this is my most favorite food I’ve eaten!! So good that I ordered more for takeaway to share with my friends at home!

Google
Great food and environment with a diverse menu and enjoyable drink options. Had both a chicken dish and tofu and both were on point and super delicious. Thai iced coffee and taro boba were amazing as well, cheers!

Google
We have gone here for years, and it’s been consistently good. Our favorites are the pad Thai and the royal curry. The duck wontons are yummy, too!

Megan Keppler

Google
Great food and quick service! The curry and drunken noodles were terrific. We asked for extra veggies on our dishes and they hooked it up. The food came out super fast and the service was good. 😊

We stopped here on our way through Boulder and the service was absolutely amazing! We have two young kids which can sometimes be hectic when eating out, the servers promptly brought us coloring pages, a high chair and a side of rice for the kids while we waited to order. They checked on us frequently and the food was absolutely DELICIOUS. We had spring rolls, green curry, and the basil fried rice, everything surpassed expectations! We look forward to stopping here again anytime we pass through the area.

Google
As usual, the food here delivers. I could have used a little more spice, but i am always happy to dine here. The potstickers were superb! The cucumber salad was also delicious! I forgot to get pictures of these. I forgot to take a picture of my entree until it was half gone. I highly recommend this place. Come try this place out!

Yelp
Update. Some new specials you can't miss. First this place is amazing. All my out of town guests always make a request to go here when they are in town. This is really special Thai and worth a trip. They currently have a Khoa Soi Bison special. Michelin has a category of "worth making a trip for" and this falls in that category. Think a creamy broth y curry like starter with thick noodles topped with a ball of fried noodles for texture and big hunks of tender bison. Absolutely excellent And you should always start with the papaya salad. It's strips of cut green papaya usually in a spicy dressing and peanuts. A crisp fresh start

Yelp
Ok, I have tried this place 6 times in all in the last 10 months and I will say that either the chef(s) have improved, or the recipes--but now our family enjoys coming-especially for lunch. It does get crowded, but it is spacious and maybe the faster turnover at lunch helps with the food-at least that is part of our assessment. The sweet spot at lunch seems to be 1:15 or later and they serve up until 4pm, but we have found that the food prepared at lunch seems better than the quieter times later on. Their Kha Soi chicken soup is really really good and I enjoy seeing how many people ordering this at lunchtime. Sometime the chicken is more tender than other times, but overall it is quite delicious. I think that I have ordered this now once a week for the last 3 weeks. Hubby likes Drunken noodles with chicken and licks his plate every time we go. We tried Anchan Thai's Kha Soi and while it was good it wasn't as good as Aloy, so we will stick with Aloy for that specialty.

Yelp
Guy Fieri can never lead you wrong. The chicken kao soi was phenomenal and so was the vegetarian drunken noodles. It was getting packed by the time we were leaving. Glad to have stopped here.

Yelp
Everything we ordered was delicious and filled with depths of flavor. Dare I say, this may be the BEST pad thai I have ever tried? I see why this place is bustling and was featured on the Food Network. I always order the fresh spring rolls when I go to Thai restaurants and the sauce was more of a sweet vinaigrette then actual peanut sauce fyi. Other than that, everything was excellent. Highly recommend making a reservation in advance as this place gets packed.

Yelp
I came here with coworkers during a work trip. Great service and ambiance! Portions here is extremely generous as well and prices are reasonable. I am giving high ratings for that alone. Surprisingly, I was not impressed with the flavors of the drunken noodles though. It was too salty and sweet for my liking, but maybe I needed to try something else off the menu...A few people at my table got pad thai and that looked pretty good, but I didn't get to taste that. If you like your drunken noodles a bit more savory, I'd probably avoid that dish since it was extremely sweet/salty.

Yelp
Good Thai food in Boulder! Featured on Food Network, this Thai spot offers so many options - with curries, noodles and wok-fried dishes. We loved our khao soi - very hearty and creamy curry soup with delicious and tender chicken and egg noodles. Drunken noodles with beef were delicious - lots of veggies, meat and eggs and generous in portion. Thai milk tea is creamy and sweet and great to enjoy with your meal!

Yelp
AMAZING!!!! The restaurant is so nice & beautiful inside. Our food came insanely fast & the food was incredible. Definitely our new favorite Thai spot!

Yelp
No idea why this place has less then 4 stars on yelp. Great portion size for price, dining experience is all you need. Got the Panang curry, pretty good. Veggie egg rolls were real good

Yelp
Super convenient location right across from our hotel and Guy Fieri has been there with DDD?! We are in! Placed our order online and showed up 5 min later. We waited in the entrance which was nicely decorated. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Even the Mgr came over and chatted with us til our food arrived. I ordered Green Curry Tofu, Thai hot. It was delicious and the first time a Thai restaurant got the hot part right!! I love that their online offered a multitude of spice options. Hubby got the vegan Fried Rice with Tofu, Thai hot, and said it was the hottest of any he'd had before. He loved it and said the flavor was fantastic. Daughter ordered regular Fried Rice with chicken. She others "just" spicy. It was enough spice for her, and she shared that it was some of the best fried rice she has had too. *** We were so hungry we didn't wait for pictures, but the dishes were as beautiful - with a nice bright green in the curry and flecks of fresh veggies in the fried rice - as the flavor was delicious! Overall, we would definitely return to Aloy. Worth it for tasty, properly spiced Thai food!

Yelp
To be honest, I'd give it a 2.5 stars if possible. Foods were quite salty and service was not attentive, during the time we dined in around 2 pm (5/19/2024 Sunday) there were only 2 tables in the restaurant however our waitress wasn't attentive. We were informed after we sat down that they do not serve lunch prices on the weekends and only all day dinner prices. Indoor decor was just a normal restaurant.

Yelp
Good was exceptional good! I got the khao soi and the drunken noodles. My waitress told me the khai soi was featured on the TV show Diners, Drives, and Drive Inns with Guy Fieri. The decorations inside is really clean, cozy ambient lighting, and a Thai theme. I would love to come here again. Accepts credit card.

Yelp
Such great soup. Perfect for after a long day at work. The staff seated us right away and the soup was just what the doctor ordered. It was a perfect balance of flavors. The place is clean and full of locals which is always a good sign! I would love to go back and try some more things.

Yelp
This place is a gem in Boulder! I was staying next door at the Hilton and came here after checking into the hotel on a cold Wednesday night. I had been eating a lot of western style food and was craving some different flavors and this place looked perfect. + hot sweet ginger tea: YUM. A big spicy warm hug that felt like it squeezed all the ice from my soul and banished all the germs. It's not a huge portion for the price ($4) but wow it hit the spot + khao soi, spicy: thick warming coconutty broth, delicious egg noodles, a tangled ball of crispy egg noodles on top for textural contrast, and a tender braised chicken thigh. I dumped in the side saucer of pickled greens and extra chili paste and slurped it all down. SO flavorful and good I came back the very next night when it was even colder, because I wanted to try more: + tom yum soup w/pork (and an extra side of sticky rice): ordered it extra spicy this time and honestly, I should've gone for Thai hot. Maybe it's a Colorado thing? I'm from California and this did not seem extra spicy. Still, it was good, with plenty of mushrooms and sliced pork and a tart flavorful broth. I dipped spoonfuls of sticky rice in the broth + cheesecake: this was the yelp check in freebie. Standard circle of cheesecake on a graham crust. I appreciated the extra care on presentation with the pretty dish, squirt of whipped cream and a cherry. Service was efficient and pleasant and the interior has a fun bright ambiance. I look forward to returning when I travel to boulder again!

Yelp
Finally stopped by after seeing the work to open this location was done My bride and I loved it!!! Great atmosphere Spectacular service Food was outstanding - I was in the seafood business and can tell the sushi was all fresh!!! Sat inside by the window and my only complaint is the window signage blocked the view to people watch!! Great job- will be back very soon!!

Yelp
Amazing. I'm giving it a grade I would say 4.5 out of five, but I'm rounding up because we had excellent service, and the food is exactly what we felt like. Ambience was super nice and the menu had a great variety. We started with a cucumber salad and the fresh rolls. Both were truly fresh tasty. Then we had the Panang chicken curry. The flavors of this dish were outstanding. I still can't put my finger on exactly what made it so great. But we found ourselves taking spoonfuls and sipping them once we were done with the main contents of the dish. Definitely recommend if you are in Boulder and love Thai food.

Yelp
I am very picky about my thai food but this place meets my expectations. I lived off of their pad thai for almost a whole year! I also really enjoy their tom yum soup-- perfect flavors and right amount of citrus. I don't love their papaya salad but mostly everything I have tried has been a hit! The staff is always friendly and I enjoy sitting in or picking it up to eat at home. Portions are large and filling.

Yelp
Good food! Ordered take out - red curry with tofu, Thai iced tea, hit the spot. Will order again if I'm in the area.

A L.

Yelp
We've been coming to Aloy Thai for many years. The food is fresh and delicious. They have a lunch special where you can receive a Thai iced tea if you buy an entree (over 15).

Yelp
The food was delicious!! Thank you kitchen staff! Top notch. We stopped here after a very wonderful day at Rocky Mountain National Park. We were seated promptly.but then waited for our server to take our order. In fact, we waited so long I decided go wash my hands. Unfortunately, there were two 1 gallon cans of paint in front of the sink. The other bathroom had cleaning supplies out in the open for any of the restaurant guests to use - I suppose. Five employees hanging out at the welcome desk were conversing, generally hanging out, whispering (and oh - did I really see her lick his ear?!!) oh wait he 's flicking her with a towel. All in all it was very unbecoming for the hires of this restaurant to be so unprofessional. Sad to say the employees make it difficult for us to come back. Seriously good food though. (Order take out!)

Yelp
The Thai food at Alloy Thai Cuisine is pretty darn good! I usually get the tofu with mixed veggies and brown rice. Solid, hearty, and flavorful! The ethnic food in Boulder is hit or miss (usually a miss), but Alloy nails it. Compares to some of the Thai food I've had in Thai Town in Los Angeles. Not a 100% match but very close. Highly recommend!

Yelp
A pretty great Thai spot! They have multiple locations, we ended up at the one in Golden and I was very pleasantly surprised to find some good Thai food here. The flavors are great, usually when a Thai place advertises itself as spicy they don't actually mean it--Aloy Thai means business, I got a decent kick at the spice level that's right below their spiciest level. The service is fantastic and accommodating, and you can't go wrong with the atmosphere. My only slight criticism with the place is that the prices are way too high for Thai food--but that's probably to be expected when you're eating out in Golden. Food: Drunken Noodles: delicious and nice kick with the spice, wish they provided more shrimp in my dish Red Curry: super flavorful, a tinge of sweetness and beautiful presentation Green Curry: super flavorful as well and fulfilled my green curry cravings
google avatar

Yelp
Great food, great service My new fave is the veggie curry And of course the pad Thai!

Evelyn M.

Yelp
Best Thai food ever I love this place it's amazing for special occasions! I only get it on rare occasions though because it's pretty pricy
google avatar

Paul W.

Yelp
Excellent Thai food! I got soup, my wife got a stir fry with tofu and my daughter got noodles with vegetables. The food was very flavorful and was a good representation of quality Thai food. My only issues were that I ordered medium spicy and it wasn't spicy at all, and the service was a bit slow. We would definitely go back.

Shelby N.

Yelp
We are from out of town and are here after getting engaged! The food and service was great!
google avatar

Yelp
Been to Thailand many times, been to many Thai restaurants around the U.S.....this is good Thai! The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. Our server was good, very nice and responsive. The food was fantastic. My wife loves Thai and she thought her drunken noodles were good. My 14 year old cleaned his plate and then proceeded to finish off mine. Give it a shot!
google avatar

Terry C.

Yelp
Ordered take out Pad Thai yesterday. It was delicious! The restaurant was also clean and the greeter was very pleasant
google avatar

Kevin B.

Yelp
For all the accolades this place was more of a "yep I'm hungry and it is good food." The guy at the door was almost annoyed with us when we came in for a quick bite. Our server was off to a good start but left us hanging late in the meal when it was time for water to put out the fire. Again, the food was good but nothing amazing compared to other Thai places I have had. I would eat here again, I just wouldn't make it a priority.

Chloe W.

Yelp
One of the best thai places in Boulder, and I don't here that enough from the college crowd. I do not think many people know about it. I dined in at Aloy and it was a great experience. When I dined in, I probably saw at least 25 carry-out bags while I was there. I understand why because I then ordered it on Doordash , and it always comes hot! I have tried the dumplings, crab rangoon, chicken satay, and pad see ew. The pad see ew is one of my favorite thai dishes, and they nail it here.
google avatar

Tas S.

Yelp
Waitress was friendly and the Asian decor was cool. I went with Guy Fieri's DDD and ordered the Khao Soi, with medium spicy. I was not disappointed. The crispy egg noodles mixed with the rich coconut milk curry soup, along with the tender chicken thigh was superb and better than mom's. Would definitely order again! Pls no one tell mom...

Tiffany P.

Yelp
Omg my husband and I visited the lovely city of boulder a few days ago and the food and service here was AMAZING!!! The atmosphere was nice and it is perfectly located
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
Delicious food, kind staff, and reasonable pricing especially for kids meals. We love the mussamun curry with tofu, eggplant stir fry, and pad see ew
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
When in Boulder and craving Thai food, Aloy Thai is my go to place!! It was featured on Diners Drive-ins and Dives and for great reason. The food is world class!! Truly they have some of the best Thai food on the front range. I may be biased but you can't go wrong with any menu item. I know they have a second restaurant in Denver, but the Boulder one is the best and they are family owned which is pretty cool. If you haven't already you should check it out!!
google avatar

Nisha G.

Yelp
Listen, my friend, if you don't try the deep-fried spring rolls at this place, you're missing out on life. They're bigger than your average spring rolls and hotter than a sizzling summer day. Trust me, they'll make your taste buds do the cha-cha. and let's not forget about the ambiance - it's nice and quite - the tables near the windows are the best in my opinion.. Now, I've also given some of the other dishes a go, like the yellow curry and pad Thai, and they were pretty darn good. But the eggplant dish - eggplant was tad undercooked. And the tofu add on - in curries - could have used a fresher start in life, but hey, we all have our flaws. The silver lining is that the restaurant clearly marks vegan and vegetarian options, so you can feel good about your meal choices. Plus, the staff is always super friendly

Jim C.

Yelp
Love the Drunken Noodles. Interesting drink menu. Wait staff was top notch. We try to eat here anytime we are in Denver.
google avatar

Anna S.

Yelp
Every time I come to Boulder for business I eat at Aloy! Service is wonderful, fast & friendly. I've had the coffee, spring rolls, egg rolls, drunken noodles and cucumber salad. The space is open and more recently has been pretty full when I've been. presentation is always beautiful...and the taste never disappoints! Hands down one of my favorite Thai restaurants to eat at!!
google avatar

Collin M.

Yelp
Delicious Choi soi and pad Thai. Can't complain, just above average though. Nothing out of this world
google avatar

Atlanta L.

Yelp
Being Lao, I'm always hesitant when trying Thai cuisine in another state. I'm pleased to say I was not disappointed this time, especially after a day of subpar Boba Teas. I literally could taste the fresh ingredients in the spring rolls, the vegetables in the Tum Yum soup, and the perfect balance of Thai spices in the drunken Noodles. Definitely would go back, and I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't a little pricy, but maybe the portions justified it. All and all, perfect food in imperfect amounts.

Rohan P.

Yelp
The food was alright not worth the money. It's very basic if you want a bland low spice food then go for it but there are much better places for cheaper. We got fried race and the dish was the same color as the plate, white. We got several other items that were the same. We asked for chili oil and it's was sweet and had no chiles in it just oil colored red. There were 5 of us and parties over 4 are charged gratuity automatically at "20%". But after getting our bill id was around 23% and they charged us gratuity on a free item. Don't get fool by the price this place isn't worth it. The only good part for the boba tea witch was very good and not too sweet, but other than that don't go here. Go to busaba, or Folsom Thai instead.

Yelp
Took it to go!!! Had the red curry with brown rice and the fried rice with pineapple and tofu. Excellent! Would recommend to anyone. The only place that could truly make spicy Thai food that burns

Lara K.

Yelp
Great portion sizes, consistent both in store and to go, they also have a great rewards program
google avatar

Yelp
Truly amazing thai food. Got the pad see eew and crab cheese wantons. Went with a group of 10 and everyone's food was rave-worthy. Also, amazing staff and service!
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
Went to this place because it was on Diners Drive Ins & Dives and it makes sense why!!!!! One of my first experiences with Thai food here in colorado and it's honestly phenomenal. I would eat this meal over and over again It's crowded every time I've been there and the staff is so friendly. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Best Thai food! We were visiting Boulder for just 2 days and our hotel recommended this place for dinner, and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai and Chang Beer. The food was delicious and very fresh. The restaurant was full with so many to-go orders being picked up too which tells me how popular of a spot this is. Overall, we had a great waitress and really enjoyed our dinner here. A must stop in Boulder!
google avatar

Dan M.

Yelp
Monday evening dinner with family. Pleasant hostess and waitress, they were attentive without being too invasive as we caught up with family. Had a couple of draft beers that were pretty tasty. We ate family style and shared a bunch of dishes to include the papaya salad, Drunken Noodles and the pad woonsen. Papaya salad was a bit fishier than I would like, but the drunken noodles and pad woonsen were dialed with great depth and the right amount of heat for what we order (med and spicy). Normally go thai hot but I was sharing this time. Waitress was knowledgeable on what was vegan and what wasn't. Good place.
google avatar

Selena Y.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this restaurant when looking for a dinner spot and enjoyed it. We didn't even realize this restaurant was featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, but we were excited to see that and immediately knew we had to order their famous Khao Soi. And yes - the featured Khao Soi was worth ordering! This dish was aromatic with a rich, creamy coconut curry broth that had just the right amount of heat to it. I loved the crunchy noodles that gave it some texture and the little bit of pickled veggies on the side to break up the rich flavors. So good. We also ordered the Royal Curry with tofu and it was a tasty peanut veggie curry. Great meal overall. Don't forget to check-in for the dessert offer!

Yelp
I discovered this place upon the recommendation of an Uber driver while I was traveling in Boulder (Boulder has the *nicest* Uber drivers, by the way!) and it ended up being the perfect spot for a casual but lovely dinner. I was on a work trip and traveling solo, so I loved the fact that this place was filled with a mix of couples, small groups, and folks who were eating solo. I didn't feel weird eating on my own here, but it also would be a great spot for a date or a dinner with friends. The waitress was so incredibly friendly and service was extremely prompt, even given that there was a steady crowd on the night I was there (a weekday evening around 6 PM). Thankfully no wait though! I was pleasantly surprised to see a cocktail menu featuring drinks in the $6-7 range - a rarity these days, at least to this Bostonian! To be fair, most of the cocktails were more wine spritzer style, not a full strength cocktail... but still perfectly refreshing for a summer night (and much less costly than similar spritzer drinks I've seen elsewhere). Craft beers were like $5 for a pint - a great deal! The meal I ordered, the drunken noodles, was AMAZING. I often try this dish at new Thai restaurants, and this version was perfectly executed - just the right amount of spicy, the chicken was perfectly cooked, and most importantly, the perfect sauce. And the portion size was big enough for two meals! The presentation of the dish was lovely as well. I overheard a guy near me raving about the Khao Soi (one of my other go-to dishes at Thai restaurants), and it looked and smelled delicious - if I find my way back to Boulder again in the future, that might be next on my list of dishes to try here! All in all, Aloy Thai was a perfect mix of terrific service, great ambiance, and even better food - I'm all in!

Yelp
The Tom Yum soup is the best I've had in Colorado! Would recommend to anyone, especially if you like coconut. My girlfriend and I stop by this spot every time we're in town.

Yelp
This was our first time ordering from here through Door Dash. The timing was accurate and good considering the weather (snow). The taste was ok. And honestly they might have gotten more stars if the cost was not so absolutely ridiculous. For one green curry (no rice), two orders of spring rolls, two orders of minuscule sticky rice, one pad Thai and one chicken satay it came to $95 dollars. My $31 green curry with rice is next to the can for measurement. Seriously, I'll take the steak from any other restaurant before this again and pay the same.
