L’Alpaga, a Beaumier hotel (Megève, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"We’ve seen some masterfully renovated Alpine chalets in our time on this earth, but nothing like Alpaga. Here no fewer than ten chalets, ranging in size from quite substantial to very cozy indeed, have been stitched together into a sort of alpine-design hamlet, which in its entirety comprises one of the most luxurious hotels in the mountain town of Megève. Naturally the result is rather more stylish than your typical Alpine village — the proprietors have a track record with this sort of thing, having established such high-elevation favorites as Le Val Thorens and the Hôtel des 3 Vallées in Courchevel." - Tablet Hotels

An unforgettable stay at an exceptional hotel in Megève! We initially planned to stay for a few nights In Feb 2024 , but one extraordinary experience with the staff made us extend our stay for three more nights! The hospitality here is second to none – every staff member was genuine, helpful, and went above and beyond to meet our needs and exceed our expectations. From the warm welcome at reception to the seamless assistance from the concierge, everything was flawless. Special thanks to Sandra, Guillaume, and Augustin for their incredible hospitality and cordiality throughout our visit – they truly made us feel at home. Whether it was restaurant reservations, spa bookings, or personalized recommendations, they handled everything with care and efficiency. We cannot wait to return to this gem of a hotel. If you're looking for impeccable service, stunning surroundings, and a truly memorable experience, this is the place to be! See you soon :D

I must take a moment to point out Helen's service, she was exceptional and a natural talent. She was warm, welcoming and made the holiday for our whole family that much better. Helen's ability to connect with our three year old daughter was beautiful too watch and every day our daughter was excited to come and see Helen. |Thank you Helen! All the staff were very nice.||Food in hotel was delicious and reasonably priced in comparison to the over priced tourist traps in the town. If there was one negative it was more options for food, across more price points. I recommend the steak and chocolate mouse. ||The hotel on the whole was great experience. The ammenities for the pool, hot tub and sauna were really nice.||Rooms were nice, could maybe a little bigger for the price, but the beds were super comfortable. The area is really quiet, so we slept well and there was no noise between the different rooms.||Kids club definately needs more attention/love; it feels like an after thought.||We would happily stay again...

If you are into fitness, don't expect the gym to satisfy your needs (treadmill, bands, bike and some free weights); so be prepared to go outside to get your workout in. We would happily stay again...

My family and I just spent 4 nights at L’apaga and we had an amazing stay. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed by the very friendly staff who go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, nothing is an issue. We stayed in the Classic room with out 3 month old and were content with the spac, very confortable. O would say it was a bit hot at night as there is no air con. The scenery of the hotel is stunning and you get diferente angles and views from diferente places of the hotel - the valley, Mont Blanc etc. the views look like a painting. The pool area is fantastic and really comfortable! We traveled with our 3 month old and we did not feel out of place, there were a lot of families, children and babies around! I would say it’s a very family orientated hotel. To get into town the shuttle service works super well (it’s quite nice staying out of town as you get to escape the caos). Shout out to Julien! Communication with the hotel is very efficient and they are very responsive to book restaurantes etc for you. Breakfast was delicious and a very special shout out to Dinesh who always had a smile on his face and ready to serve! And thank you to Manon for helping with everything! Highly recommend staying here!

Absolutely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in! This place is cozy, clean, yet quite interesting to navigate. The scenery is stunning and the food is delicious. Most importantly, the service is perfect, especially the valet and concierge, they are very warm, helpful and made our stay very convenient and enjoyable. Thanks for the excellent service! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice and relaxing stay!

Overall the hotel is fine but don’t expect a 5 star, especially with the service. For positives, the outdoor spa is really nice and it’s nice to have a Michelin star restaurant in the hotel. For the negatives, our room didn’t get hot water, it only got to a lukewarm which was awful after a long day outdoors. The hotel offers a shuttle service but two seperate times they forgot and we had to follow up with the concierge after waiting for 10-15 minutes. And lastly, we had requested quotes on transfer services for the airport and train station which we ultimately didn’t book. The hotel for some reason decided to book a transfer to the train on our behalf which we didn’t even use or request, and they added it to our bill. Unfortunately we had to run for our train and hoped to review the bill later.l, oddly enough, although we were running very late for our train, the transfer they booked wasn’t even ready to pick us up so luckily we weren’t planning to use it anyways! Following check-out, they are basically non-responsive, completely unapologetic and haven’t provided any proof that we asked for this transfer or agreed to pay for it. I’ve never experienced service like that from any hotel I’ve stayed at based on an overcharge, service is what really makes a hotel five star and it was the worst service we had from all the hotels on our trip. If there’s availability at the other hotels in town, I would definitely skip this one based on that sour experience alone. Update in response to the hotel: It’s great that you’re sorry but you didn’t offer any way to get in contact with me to rectify the situation or refund the money you clearly owe me. So anyone considering this hotel, take note of the level of customer service they offer, would probably rate it a one star after that reply.

Really enjoyed our stay at the L'Alpaga. Kid and Dog friendly. Excellent restaurant. Great view. Loved the outdoor pool, hot tub, and sauna (they also have indoor pool & spa). Kids club was nice and useful. Indoor garage for your car was also good amenity. Their shuttle service to/from town/ski lift was on time and available. Hotel used WhatsApp to communicate during the stay which made it very easy and efficient. Room was clean and very comfortable.

Fantastic! From the beauty and cleanliness - of the reception area, to the terrace, to the room, to the restaurants, to the recreation area - to the quality of the service - with housekeeping, restaurant servers, shuttle service, and bartender - everything above and in between was excellent. This was the first trip in many that I planned next to nothing and the concierge assisted with all bookings upon our arrival - dinners every night of our stay (on resort and off), helicopter tour, and spa. Special thank you to Patrick and Nino for your hospitality and cordiality throughout our stay.
