Alpenlofts Veterinary Hospital

Our cat, Pumpkin, went to the Dr today, and she was completely at ease. That means a lot. They always show me a breakdown of cost, potential cost, what can wait and what should be done immediately and honour my limits, respectfully. I will also mention that in the past when I had emergencies with my dog, the doctor was quick to respond and helped after hours. Thank you, Alpenlofts Veterinary Hospital...still the best.💝 Pictures were added to show how comfortable Pumpkin was. Highly recommend.

We have been using Alpenlofts for almost 10 years now, and they continue to provide the most excellent care for our dog. They are supportive and kind, with practical solutions! Dr Grewal always greets us with a smile and I love that he sits on the floor with us, as we discuss the needs and challenges of our aging pup!

We went to Alpenlofts within an hour of their closing time the other night because our puppy ate something she shouldnt have. We hadn't visited here before but knew friends that recommended them. We were SO grateful that they were open a bit later than the other vets in town!!!! Thank you so much to your team for your great care and help with Honey's "situation". They even called the next morning to check up on her to see how she was feeling. It's the little things like that which make a huge difference! I would definitely recommend this vet hospital, and will be back again for sure!

This is my second review of this clinic. I made one a number of years ago, not long after Dr. Grewal opened. I'm writing a second review because after many years of taking my cats to Dr Grewal his level of knowledge, care, and compassion towards my fur family is the best I've ever had. I never feel overcharged, and they are always willing to go over things thoroughly with me so that I feel like I have a good understanding of everything that's happening. Dr. Deamon is also there now, and he recognized, and diagnosed and extremely rare lung disease in my cat that has only been found apparently in four other cats in the world. We knew he had feline asthma already but this was a new development unfortunately. They even went so far as to print me off the information about this rare disease so that I could better understand and manage Oscar's issues. I could go on and on, but just want anybody who is considering taking their fur babies here that they will definitely be in good, trustworthy hands.

Alpenlofts' staff is wonderful! We needed an urgent appointment for my cat, and the vet made space for us 5 minutes after I called - everyone was so friendly, helpful, and kind, and our DVM was so thorough and detailed when discussing Moose's x-rays with me. I really appreciated that extra care, and I didn't leave with any questions. Thank you so much everyone for taking such great care of my boy!

We couldn't be happier with the treatment my 14month Vizsla has received on all visits, the full team are professional and all are clearly animals lovers! My pup had a serious intestinal infection and without the help of the crew here i'm not sure he would've made a full recovery, after receiving the initial treatment which was diagnosed very quickly the medication worked very well. Unfortunately the infection lingered and we had an emergency situation that occurred on a Sunday evening at around 7pm, we immediately contacted the practice and got an answer from the doctor on his personal phone where he assured us he could be at the clinic as soon as we were able to get there, another round of medication did the trick and our pup looks to be on the way to a full recovery. Huge thanks to everybody involved. Having the peace of mind that we have a reliable veterinary hospital is a huge relief, we now make the trip from Pemberton for all our appointments as we believe they are far superior to other experiences we have had at other clinics. Would 100% recommend!

I had an emergency situation and with much understanding when I called our usual Veterinary hospital they were too busy to see us while my best friend lay crying and disoriented. For a SECOND time (in 2ish years) Alpenlofts answered the call, in a situation where I felt helpless..... they helped.... Thank you!

My cat had jumped off my 2nd floor balcony on Sunday morning. Though other vet websites stated they were open, only Alpenlofts answered when I called. After an hours drive we arrived in Squamish. The staff were so understanding and welcoming. Dr Jasdeep Grewal was wonderful, reassuring and I felt very confident to leave Charlee to his care. She was examined, sadated & X-rayed. She had a broken leg. Her leg bone was realigned, splint applied, medication supplied and care instructions given. The bill was very reasonable for which I was very thankful. I have called them twice since for advise and they were very happy to help. I would recommend Alpenloft to everyone, even if you have to drive an hour.

I had a serious emergency on Xmas of all days for my daughters cat. I called Alpenloft and although I was a new customer they got our cat in and looked at where all others failed to do so. Very helpful, beside manner was great and no fluff but clear to the point and getting to work on a solution as time was critical. As a side note there are no after hours emergency vet services in Squamish (they just redirect you to Whistler or Vancouver) except Alpenloft. Worth noting that the exception is Garibaldi vet but unless you already are a patient they will not help in an emergency! Wtf?! See my 2 star review about them if you like. This town needs to provide an emergency service in Squamish and not just redirect you to north van or Whistler. Glad Alpenloft came through and saved Xmas for me and my daughter. They truly care.

This is our favourite vet in town (and our favourite vet ever). He really cares about animals, is very fair with his treatment approach and does not charge an arm and a leg. He will follow up by phone just to check in sometimes. He is very knowledgeable. We have taken two of our dogs here over time, including one that he sensitively put down for us last summer. We couldn't be happier with his services.
