"This is the gourmet restaurant at the hotel of the same name, one of the most luxurious in the Val Gardena. The elegant, contemporary dining room has an intimate and minimalist feel, which provides the backdrop for cuisine created by chef Mario Porcelli. Although originally from Puglia, Porcelli has been working in the Dolomites for many years and he is equally at home with local dishes as he is with recipes from his native region. He offers three tasting menus (Tradizione in evoluzione, Omaggio alle Dolomiti, and the vegetarian Terra), from which dishes can also be chosen à la carte style. A choice of delicious and memorable desserts and cakes, as well as an excellent selection of bread and pastries, completes the picture." - Michelin Inspector
Unbelievable experience.
The food, the service, the atmosphere, - everything is top level.
We had a lovely dinner with my wife and every bits of the evening was great, starting from the welcoming stuff up to Chief personally met us and asked for the feedback.
Thank you, can recommend to anyone staying in Dolomites - you will not regret it.

It was a WOW experience! From the taste of the food, its presentation, the pairing with the alcohol, and the wonderful service!
We had the chance to complement the chef for his amazing creation of art and delicious food.
Each dish was served to us we were in awe. I have like 50 pictures, but I don't want to ruin the surprise.

Absolutely fantastic experience, the chef is Apulian and you can really taste it in the dishes. There are three set menus to choose from, 4-6 dishes each, €100 - €150 per person + drinks. Including one fully vegetarian menu. A la carte choice possible too. Very beautifully designed. Good wine selection. Staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is one big room with ca. 8 tables of 2-4 people. Its beautiful though a bit dark and anonymous. The desert of mango and coconut was a bit disappointing and not up to the same standard compared to the rest. Otherwise amazing experience, we will come back.

We visited Alpenroyal Gourmet Restaurant this week and picked the 6 course menu. We were recommended a wonderful choice of wine, which went perfect with the quite intense food selection. Ordering a 6 course menu, doesn’t mean you will get 6 plates, in fact we counted 10 dishes with all the chef compliments and pre-dessert course. We have enjoyed everything and captured photos of all the amazing dishes. Definitely worth the experience! Thank you Gourmet Restaurant and Mario Porchelli. ❤️👏🙏

The service is nice and friendly, the setup is high-end but unfortunately the food is not as we expected. The assortment of the dishes, the tastes were average, nothing special. We had the 6 course meniu and a special mention about lobster, the “gem” of the evening who was chewy. We had a very good selection of bread and butter and this was what saved the dinner. Other strange thing: we all had to choose the same menu, even if one of us was a vegetarian

Amazing atmosphere and dishes, each of them was wisely thought and the wine pairing was a perfect match! Looking forward to try it again!

Terrible. Our worst meal. Very pretentious. Very expensive. Ridiculous menu. Tasteless. We wanted to leave, we were threatened with a cancellation charge, and compromised on some simple dishes at an exorbitant price from the other restaurant in the hotel.

Excellent! Very impressive cuisine with extraordinary equilibrium. Chef Porcelli is not showing off his true ability but demonstrate his skill with the best ingredients. I will come back.
