Alpeta Agritourism & Winery - Roshnik

I went there for lunch based on recommendations. It was a total hit. The food was wonderful, the best so far. Be aware there is no menu, but they accommodate dietary restrictions. Veggies and fruit were fresh and well prepared, the meat was great too. Portions were huge and the price reasonable. The people were nice and attentive to our needs. The place is great to do some easy hiking before lunch, with a couple of great options departing from the restaurant. After lunch, you can swim in the lake close by, where kids enjoy kayaking and paddle surfing. Overall, a great way to spend a summer day.

Received quick and excellent service. Came for a tasting ended up having lunch with goat as well. The view was spectacular. I’ve been to 50+ vineyards and this is the only one that created a ceiling of grape. Gorgeous lake on the property as well. The only con, there were a lot of bees bothering us and eating our goat.

Every dish was a celebration of traditional Albanian cuisine with a modern touch. Made with fresh, local ingredients and full of flavor — without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. 🍷 The wine tour was another highlight of our stay. A relaxing walk through the vineyards, paired with insightful explanations and tastings of delicious, high-quality local wines. 🌞 Every moment spent here was relaxing and filled with joy. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for peace, authenticity, and a true taste of Albania in a stunning natural setting.

Went to the wine tour as a solo traveller. Loved the wine tour - setting was very nice and all, compared to the amount of winery experiences I have been around the world. Wine is great quality and totally worthy of the price. Service however was debatable. I was sat at the restaurant around 9pm. I was completely ignored despite the fact that I stood up and flagged 2 servers. After getting the reassurances that I would be served, I waited about 15 more minutes. In sight, there were 4 servers on the floor but all failed to acknowledge that i even existed. At the end, the staff gave a bottle of raki as gift to compensate their mistake which was a very nice gesture. Food quality - exceptional. The 1-person platter was absolutely outstanding.

We had a beautiful stay att Alpeta. The room with mountainview is amazing! It’s clean, spacious, and truly wonderful. The dinner we had was also amazing. It was an arranged dinner with a little bit of everything, as a second course you could chose between chicken/goat. The service was nice throughout the evening. The breakfast was okey, we got service from a guy who didn’t understand English that well. I would have liked to have an explanation of the breakfast, what was included and what we would like. Overall a beautiful stay! If you travel with children (as we did) we missed something for them. A small pool/jacuzzi or a playground. Then it would have been amazing and we would have stayed more than one night!

Words cannot describe how amazing this place is. Firstly the location is stunning, the premises the hotel sits in is incredible. The walk to the lake and swimming in it is special, the food was out of this World and everyone who works here are brilliant. We have stayed all over the World and this is now top of our list, it made us want to come back to Albania ASAP! I took some drone shots of the property and location as well so you can see what I mean about all of this. We are vegetarian, the options were amazing, the flavours all fresh and from local sources, you can tell straight away even if you did not know this. The stray dogs roaming around are brilliant also, all friendly and clearly the staff help them when they can, there is a resident dog also which is the boss for sure! We do not drink, so perhaps a winery in peoples minds is not the first choice, but actually it was much appreciated by us because of the insane amount of grape vines and olive trees within the area. The rooms are beautiful, amazing views of the mountains or the land, it does not matter which, it is all incredible. What was even more cool was the first thing we saw when opening the window was a baby owl sitting on the barn roof looking at us as if to say hello, before it flew away, I managed to get a shot with my camera just before it did. Amazing. We stayed one night, I wish it was more, but it stays in our minds forever and we hope we can come back

What a beautiful experience! I loved being in the nature, trying their amazing wines (the red deserves a special mention!), enjoying their delicious breakfast on the terrace... The small lake at walking distance provides a pleasant escape from the heat. The road to Berat is approximately 30 minutes, a narrow road but totally doable. The room was a good size and very clean, the bed was not the best for me, but that can be personal. If I can suggest one improvement: please add another softer light in the room (right now in our room there was only one big very bright lamp). To conclude: i really recommend spending at least one night at beautiful Alpeta during your trip in Albania 😊

Absolutely amazing experience at Alpeta Winery. I don’t usually go for this type of food, but it completely blew me away—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish was delicious, and the wine and raki were just as impressive. The hosts made the evening even more special—warm, fun, and incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend!
