13 Pizza Farms to Explore in Southern Minnesota and Wisconsin

"Alpha and Omega Farm in Princeton, Minnesota hosts pizza nights most Thursday and Saturday nights (check the calendar for the most up-to-date information). The menu changes often, but expect pizzas like the “Millie the Meatlover” or the mysteriously named “Fainting Goat” (the farm also hosts goat yoga on summer Sundays). Walk-in orders are available, but it’s best to order ahead of time to reserve your pizza; gluten-free crusts are available upon request. Picnic tables are available, but bring a blanket to be safe." - Eater Staff

We were there attending a family wedding. The venue was fantastic. Beautiful scenery, cute animals, and the pizza was delicious - straight from the brick oven with gluten-free options available.

The pizza was delicious for those that I ate. Some were a little out of my comfort zone or items I don't eat. However, for the pizza I did eat, it was so good! The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful! A variety of places to sit and mingle, beautiful Cafe lights, goats and an old truck bed turned into a small stage! Everything was wonderful!

Attended a Goat Yoga and Pizza event with my girlfriends and we had a wonderful time! The atmosphere was relaxed and happy. The yoga instructor was friendly and warm. The goats were ADORABLE! The babies were super cute but Darwin stole my heart. The best part was the pizza afterward. There was a selection of unique wood-fired pizzas and a special rhubarb dessert pizza that was delectable. I look forward to attending Pizza Night and live music evening. Just $24 for a wood-fire pizza? A fun and affordable date night!

We had our first visit here while visiting family in Minnesota. The pizzas were fantastic. We loved the idea of using ingredients which come from the farm, which means the types of pizzas served change depending on the crops. The staff was pleasant and helpful, providing recommendations when requested. The atmosphere was fun. We enjoyed the live music l, and our kids enjoyed being able to see some of the animals, and play a few games, such as shooting hoops at the converted wagon.

We got married here on a hot June day and it was the most perfect venue. Our guests said the pizza was 10/10 and it was the cutest fancy picnic vibe ever! I highly recommend this place to anyone getting married or even attending their pizza nights! The owners, Kim and Brad, treat you like family and are so amazing.

This is our second pizza farm of the season - love the scene here! The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Shaded areas to sit, table & chairs available (however, be sure to bring your own, since these fill up quickly), and things to do while waiting for food order: goats to visit/feed, cornhole/bags, hoops game, listen to live music. The owner greeted and visited with us while we waited. We also had a nice time talking with the family sitting near us. The pizza: nice variety of options! Pay for your crust in advance - this essentially secures your order, since they can get quite busy and may not have enough crusts for walk-up orders. Keep in mind that what you preorder is what you get (we thought we could order more than our one crust once we got there, but they were sold out, so we just had the one pizza). The size is enough for two people. We had the Greek and it was amazing, aside from the fact that the crust was burnt. Noticed many of the pizzas looked a little overdone - the downfall of wood fired pizza, it’s hard to get it “just right”. Considerations: 1. Bug spray! The mosquitoes were bad, especially as the sun started to set. 2. Bring your own garbage bag, as this place (like other pizza farms) expects patrons to leave no trace. 3. Pizza orders took a very long time - order or bring your own appetizers so you don’t get hangry. 4. BYOB We highly recommend this beautiful family owned business!

I love everything about this farm! Tons of people but not packed. Pizzas are worth the wait, the crust is some of the best I've had. Preorder your crust online cause there are only a limited number available for walk up. The Fun guy pizza 👍👍 Minnesota margarita 👍👍👍 slight edge cause corn on a pizza is amazing! Take a quick walk around the farm while you wait for pizza, plenty of seating, live music 🎶 I love this place!

Yelp
This place is amazing! The owners are the nicest people. The food is delicious! Be sure to go online and reserve your pizza crust ahead of time. They have live music, goats and a cocktail bar. They do a Goat Yoga on the weekends. You can rent one of there "patio silos " to dine in. They have another building called Summerhuis that you can rent to stay in or use for corporate functions, weddings etc...Love this place.

Yelp
This place is great, and I expect it will get better and better. Staff are charming and sweet. The pizzas are phenomenal, with the freshest ingredients on a crust that's toasted and chewy and pillowy soft all at the same time. There are also apps, sandwiches, and sodas for sale. Plus a cocktail stand with the most delicious drinks. My kids loved feeding the baby goats (bring quarters to buy a palmful of feed) and shooting hoops in the basketball funnel thingamajig. I hope to make a trip back next summer!

Yelp
Celebration with getting to know my local farmer(s). I just found out some of my friends can live a whole year without ever setting foot into a grocery store. I cannot commit to that but I can say local foods raised & grown right taste & feel better, and I can feel my dopamine levels rising already knowing my neighborhoods better. Walker Farms buy from Alpha Omega Farms with their lamb, beef, pork, ... & coming here and celebrating recipes from local family business is giving back to more local farmers at least fifty percent of their profits. Eating here grows the strength of Princeton & surrounding farms and Minnesota.

Yelp
Thursdays are wood fired pizza nights! We loved our entire pizza farm experience here-including a couple of rain drops! The venue is awesome-a farm with animals, beautiful trees and live music! Very inviting and good event for ALL of us (not just the kiddos)...and we loved talking with the farmer! We went with friends that remembered to bring extra chairs, plates, garbage bags, drinks other than soda pop, and a tablecloth. They also had clued us into pre-ordering our pizza crust online (in case they run out). We all tried (and loved) the Millie the Meat Lover pizza topping with sausage, pepperoni & Canadian bacon. We also did a couple of appetizers: the oven roasted mild Shisito peppers and cheese squares. Both were awesome!

Yelp
Good pizza, and very family friendly. Fun watching the kids of.all sizes with their families, some are multi generation. Various groups and couples. The music is good and the grass makes a good dance floor. And the goats are entertaining as well. Many regulars and some people have traveled an hour or more to enjoy the food; and the old fashioned Sunday in the park atmosphere.

Yelp
Alpha and Omega is an amazing hidden gem just outside of Princeton. We went with a group of friends on a beautiful summer night. When we arrived we parked in a hay field. We walked up to this amazing backyard of a farm. There were a variety people seated at picnic tables, lawn chairs, in a corn crib with cool lighting. There was live music and whoever was the female singer she was amazing! The only thing they serve is pizza and the pizza is pretty damn good. The pizza crust is pretty epic. They have a variety of pizzas to choose from. We ordered about ten pizzas. The group favorite was one with goat cheese and blueberries. The least favorite was the dessert pizza. All the others we ordered were very good. It's BYOB so we packed several bottles of wine and some beers. This is a fantastic place for families and kids. They have all sorts of animals and plenty of room for kids to roam and move around. We will definitely be heading back!
