This place is absolutely fantastic! Hands down, the best cheese curds I’ve ever had—and that’s saying something coming from a Minnesotan. The maple Brussels sprouts were also incredible—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Chris was our server and went above and beyond to take care of us. Great food, great drinks, and top-notch service. Highly recommend!

Google
Please stop by this amazing spot, it's owned and operated by a mom and pop, it veteran owned that supports veterans and service men and women. I know that because we actually met the owner. Super wonderful and kind man he came over to introduce himself, and he shook our hand and gave us a dessert on on house just for stopping by. Please try the giant powder sugar donuts! Now seriously, the food... everything. i mean, everything was top shelf good. We asked our super sweet server Taylor, what the best appetizer was and I tell how good the glazed, Brussels sprouts were, incredible isn't even the word! Maple bacon glaze with bacon and feta.... We all bet licked the plate! Get the scoops! If you like potatoes but want something lighter than a potato wedge these are so light and perfectly crunchy. i want to come back just for these! I need these as nachos! The spicy queso twise to the Cheesesteak was exactly what i wanted! And the burger was cooked, perfect with the toppings stacked mile high! The sweet and caring staff and owners. I absolutely loved the care we got today. It the small owned places like this that give you that part of the family feeling. You can't get that anywhere anymore. That will have me coming back again and again. Thank you again for this experience!

Google
This place is less than mediocre. The host was odd and kept staring at me like she thought I might run out on my bill or something. I came here on my lunch break and it looked closed. When I walked in, there were not many people so I thought it would be fairly quick, I was wrong. I sat at the bar and got a beer while I was there and it was so flat I didn’t drink it. I finally get my burger and the bacon was not cooked, the burger had no pink, and it was fairly small for the price. No need to return. Edit: love the smart ass reply. So here’s a tip, it’s pretty sad when Taco Bell can get a 5 star review over you. Sounds like you have more improving to do. Glad to see you pick the fast food chain out of all the places I reviewed and that triggered you. And as for the hostess, I didn’t want to say it but since you want to be real, let’s be real. She was RACIST, cause why else is she going to watch me like I’m going to run out on my bill.

Went in tonight with my son, was sat right away at a booth. We sat and waited for our waiter for over 10 minutes, maybe 15. Nobody ever came to greet us, offer us water, nothing. Multiple waiters were passing us and interacting with other tables, but not us. The place was not overly busy. We decided our business wasn’t wanted, we went to the front to tell the hostess. We waited a minute and nobody was there for us to tell, so we just left. A shame, the place looked nice.

Google
Hey Brenda, Ron, Chris, Jacq, and Shane! You all are so friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing! (I highly recommend the thunderbird chicken with Memphis BBQ if you’re ever there.) Guess what? I once suggested boneless wings, and a few months later, they made it to the menu! The staff is incredible, and the people are just great. It’s a fantastic bar. So, next time you’re in the mood for some sports, food, and great company, head down to Alpha Charlie’s. It’s a blast!

Google
Good neighborhood bar and I appreciate the service. Food is pretty good and priced on par with other bars in the area. The selection of beer and food choices is normal. The prices are higher than I would expect, so I won't be coming here as often as I would like. I wish it were just a bit more affordable since they are very nice, veteran owned, and close to home.

Google
Great place for a bite, drink, and Karoeke. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is really friendly. They have a great menu and a great bar area. A must if in Colorado.

Google
First tried this place a few months ago for a lunch meeting. Service was quick, there was plenty of parking, and the food was delicious. I had the burger, and I thought it was good. We split an order of onion rings which was also delicious. I highly recommend patronizing a "local" place for once - even if the prices are slightly higher. Seasonal outdoor patio seating and plenty of room inside.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times since it's close to CGC. It's not terrible don't get me wrong but it's lack luster and the portion to price ratio makes it seem like being a patron isn't well worth it. I ordered 2 Guinness beers and both of them came as pictured.... Come on... Yeah I get that I should've said something but it was one waitress for the entire joint. And I know it could've been done better bc the other less frothy beers were poured correctly. Another minute of care wouldn't settled the foam... Tip starting at 22% is another annoying tad.

Yelp
Food was great but way overpriced. Service is terrible. Deal breaker . Second attempt. Sadly won't be back.

Yelp
Have been here a few times before when it was named Maggie Malones. Same feel, same quality, meh. They do have reasonable priced happy hour cocktails. I opted for the house margarita. It was fine. It tasted more like the frozen-concentrate Minute Maid limeade. Not sure it had any tequila in it, but I guess that's what you get for a $5 drink. Server was nice, friendly, and attentive and the bar area was very clean, which is always appreciated.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick drink. Happy Hour runs from 2-6pm M-F. $2 off single wells & house wine, $2 off select pints, and house margaritas and mules ranging from $5-$7. We sat at the bar and were taken care of quickly. Our bartender checked in on us frequently. The house white was a pinot grigio at $5 for a small pour. It is a typical sports bar with lots of TVs and other decor.

Yelp
This place was great. Super good food and comfortable environment. I didn't like the high chair tables but it's a great place to dine. Our waitress was quick with our orders and very nice. All of the food came out great. My kids really enjoyed their food and we did too. 100% coming back. I definitely recommend others coming here.

Yelp
Delicious and dare I say, elevated, bar food but the service really needs some attention. We have been here twice now, both times at the bar, and service started off great then fell flat as the evening went on both nights. I don't know if the bar staff is getting overloaded with drinks and waiting on patrons at the bar or if the kitchen has been backed up but it seems like there's something lacking or communication. They have a hefty beer selection, draft and bottled along with full bar. Menu is standard bar fare and I'm here for it! If Im going to a place like this, I want something to eat while watching a game and that's it (that's been why we came here both times). Buffalo chicken sliders, Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, Spinach Dip, Mac and Cheese and Fried Pickles have all been awesome. Even the peach cobbler dessert was great but unfortunately I think the bartender forgot about it or the kitchen was REALLY backed up, 20 mins after we ordered we finally got to enjoy it. I want to like this place and say more positive things as the food really does make this place shine but if I do keep coming back, I am going in with low expectations from the staff.

Yelp
Phenomenal experience with friendly staff, fun atmosphere and delicious food! Just came for appetizers and drinks; got the cheese curds and the camouflage dip- they were to die for. The weekend buy one get one half off drink deal was totally worth it! Our waitress Jacqueline was incredibly personable, attentive, and service was fast and reliable. This place has an outdoor patio with shade and is also dog friendly which is awesome! I will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Went here for Round 1 - Game 4 of the NHL Playoffs for the Avalanche versus Jets. First thing I noticed was all the TVs and they had the game on so we could sit anywhere and have an awesome view. Someone was walking around handing out raffle tickets for Avs fans wearing gear so that was fun. Been checking on social media for the winning raffle ticket but forget when they were going to announce it. Ordered a plate of Little Charlies (sliders/fries) and a bowl of green chili. The green chili came out lukewarm which was a disappointing cause the flavor was there. At the end of the bowl was a spice bomb that hit you hard. The sliders were decent and the fries really stole the show. Service needs to improve. Our waiter walked by us numerous times when both our drinks were empty and he just decided to chat with his buddies or bus tables. *Shrug*. I would still return though. The atmosphere, drink selection and food were great. If our waitstaff chatted with us a bit we would've felt welcomed. Instead we were rushed at the beginning and then completely ignored by the end of the game. Regardless I'd return but if we got the same person I would definitely ask for someone else.

Yelp
Great Broncos bar! Had a great time there today! Let's get more Broncos fans here to support and cheer on our Broncos!!
google avatar

Ryan Y.

Yelp
Man oh man I wanted to like this place! It was Sunday when the Nuggets were playing, so you can expect that a ton of people would be out watching the game. They do not have enough people working. Straight up. The waitresses were completely overwhelmed (they did great). There were not enough bartenders and we waited a long time just to get water. We each got a drink and some chili and didn't order anything else because it was 30 minutes later that someone even checked on us. Whoever runs this place needs to be replaced or this restaurant is doomed.
google avatar

Kristy S.

Yelp
Stopped by for a drink and to catch the bball game. Several open tables and "open seating" at the bar. We waited, preferring a booth; however when someone finally stopped to talk to us, we were told there was a 20 minute wait because they were "at capacity." Not going back. Either poorly run or just terrible service.
google avatar

Stephen D.

Yelp
First time trying this establishment and left very happy. We got the fried pickles and an Italian sausage and pineapple pizza. Everything was delicious and cooked wonderfully. It wasn't too crowded but I'm thinking it would and should be especially on weekends or game day. If I'm in the area again this will be on my mind.

Yelp
Love having a spot to watch all the England soccer games here in Denver. We watched all the games here throughout the last World Cup and the most recent Euros and just love this place. Service is always perfect and their food is great elevated bar food. Nothing is over the top expensive but the quality of drinks are great and the beers are always cold and crisp. Thanks for being a locals favorite spot to enjoy!!
google avatar

Yelp
Great service and food. The staff is attentive and will take care of you. The philly cheese steak is amazing. Great assortment of whiskey also.
google avatar

Lee F.

Yelp
Alpha hosted a watch party for my daughter's soccer team for the us womens gold medal game. The food was amazing (have to get the Colorado Benedict), the Bloody Mary was good and the waitress did a phenomenal job for such a large group. Orders were taken fast, drinks and refills fast and food fast. They nailed it. I wish we lived closer because I would definitely go to catch a game because of the great tv and bar layout for a sports bar.
google avatar

S S.

Yelp
Very cool sports bar type atmosphere. Lots of tvs and sports memorabilia. Owner Ronald House sat and chatted with us for a bit. Super nice guy. Our waiter, Chad, recommended the Cubano, and I have to say - it was the best I've ever had. Extremely flavorful and juicy. My friend loved the tacos, and the Maple cheesecake was excellent. Highly recommend!

Robert W.

Yelp
I don't know what happened to the quality of food here. I use to love this place and it's been awhile since I've been here. The food was worse than fast food. My son had a Colorado Benedict, it was cooked to a hard boil and the house potatoes was a frozen hash brown that you get at Mickey da. My bacon cheeseburger was clearly a frozen patty and definitely not the 1/2 lb it advertised and didnt have any bacon. The waffle fries had no flavor, similar to what you get with bagged frozen fries that sat in freezer too long. All this for approx. $20 a meal.
google avatar

Robert J.

Yelp
We held our FF draft here, they had a back part of the bar that was perfect for all the team owners. They helped us set up and the service throughout was wonderful. The food was great and all the owners were very happy with the staff and had a great time. We will come back and want to send out a big thanks, we have had other restaurants completely ruling our draft, but not here! Thanks so much!

Server M.

Yelp
Let's just say this place isn't the greatest with decent service. The food portion sizes have decreased, YET how many price increases has this place had? Oh and the manager with the glasses, she definitely has a few screws loose upstairs. Glad SportsBook is open again. This was my last chance with them. Epic Fail. New staff every other time, but your common denominators are the same. Fire the damn mgrs because its obvious she has NO clue what she is doing. How sad.

Jim G.

Yelp
Food was ok but at a high price. Service was lacking. I needed to ask several times to get things The TV was so loud I couldn't hear the person across the table.
google avatar

Catacomb J.

Yelp
Very good food. Excellent fish and chips. The margaritas were tiny but tasty. Real hamburger, not that frozen patty stuff. Cooked to my taste on a nice bun.
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
I came in to watch the hockey game. Took a seat at the bar and was immediately welcomed! The bar tender let me try 3 beers so I could figure out the best one! Even asking what was good on the menu he was honest as to what was good and what was better! I got the cheesesteak and Mac and cheese, they had a nice little kick to them and sooo delicious! I will definitely be back, I hear Tuesday is trivia night!!!
google avatar

Kahla B.

Yelp
Sat at the bar. Service was ok, but not as attentive as you would expect, especially since the dining room was empty. To be fair, this was mid-afternoon so I wouldn't expect it to be very busy. Having said that, like I said above, I thought the bar service could have been better. There did seem to be some regulars there. Fed Food was mediocre. Will have to give them another try. This may have just been an off day.
google avatar

Theresa R.

Yelp
Service is really lacking here lately. We go to watch games and the service is always so slow. The staff is stretched thin. The food is good, but when you order extra sauce or a speciality side it should come at the time of service not later. Takes a long time to attract your server as they are often working both ends of the restaurant. I really wish they'd step it up! We want them to succeed.
google avatar

Jon L.

Yelp
I really like this place. Some of the best nachos ever, reasonable prices, great service (thanks Rylee!), friendly staff, nice beer options, cool vibe, not too loud (or too quiet). Check it out at happy hour! Excellent hangout! Veteran owned is a big plus- give 'em some business!

Sharon R.

Yelp
Exceeded our expectations. Leighla is an exceptional hosttes, she greeted us with a smile. The restaurant was extremely busy. When we were shown to our table Leighla set our expectation by telling us that it may be a couple of minutes for our waitress to get to us because of how busy it was and the proceeded to bring us water. She has to be one of the hardest workers, she was cleaning off tables to ensure customers coming in the door had a place to sit. The food and beverage were good too.
google avatar

Betsy B.

Yelp
The food here is INCREDIBLE! The burgers and fries were cooked to perfection. I got the bison burger. It was a bit messy, but it was worth the mess. The service here was fast and reliable, making sure to continually check in. And as an Okie, one of my favorite things to judge is a restaurant's ranch. This place has the ranch I love most. I asked for an abundance of ranch, and they brought me a huge dish of ranch-- talk about a dream come true! It was seriously so good, and the food will keep me coming back! We also got the camouflage dip and it was the most perfect cheesy artichoke moment I've had in a while.
google avatar

Doug P.

Yelp
Service top notch Food was amazing Atmosphere was nothing special Employees best in town Never heard of the place, but was recommended by a client. Not sure of the actual origins, but I was told it was started by some ex-military veterans, who then hired veterans to work. Thus the name. All I do know is, we went for lunch and from the minute we walked in the door for lunch we were greeted with smiles and hellos. They constantly checked in on us to make sure everything was good or if we needed refills. When it came to the menu our server made suggestions based on our initial thoughts and she was right. We had wings (1lb), Brussels sprouts, Cubana, chickenbreast covered parmesissan cheese, and the smoking Gobbler (Turkey sandwich). Most of us got side sales but the chicken came with mashed potatoes All of us cleaned our plates. Highly recommended for all of the reasons listed above. Support our veteran!
google avatar

Bill R.

Yelp
Given how hard it is to find good help these days, I'm willing to give a pass on our poor service on this visit. Our server was actually very good, but clearly task saturated due to staffing shortages. On to other important things--food! It's excellent. The menu has something for just about everyone. Salads, burgers, sandwiches, soups, Mexican fare, asian skewers, and I think there was even a gumbo on there as well. Bacon corn chowder was sinfully good. The quesadilla burger was today's special and was outstanding. The fries that accompanied it almost stole the show, though. We also had some Steak and shrimp street tacos that were perfect for a lunch portion. All the food was fresh and competently prepared and professionally presented. Will definitely return next time I travel to the area.
google avatar

Cindy C.

Yelp
We stopped in after we learned they took over the Irish restaurant that was here. There is nothing bad or great about this place. It's more of a middle of the road with American fair. The burgers are decent and the staff was friendly.
google avatar

Nick D.

Yelp
GREAT FOOD AND AMAZING STAFF. I love Jac and Brittany, Spencer, Melissa, Riley, Taylor, Mason and all the other staff I didn't mention! They always take care of us. Also the Tuesday night Trivia Hosed by Games and Trivia Entertainment is always THE BEST! If you haven't been here yet, get there on the next Tuesday you can and i guarantee you wont be disappointed!

J J.

Yelp
It was an attractive atmosphere, and the sandwiches described on the menu sounded fabulous _ but were disappointing in reality, not bad, just ok, didn't live up to the description. Super small portions. And Expensive! $19 for a tiny sandwich, $3.00 extra for onion rings. $11 for a 16 oz. draft?! (you can get a hazy IPA at Lazy Dog for $6.00, happy hour) The bartender was OK, mostly efficient, we sat at the bar, but she wasn't very friendly. We did notice she had a smile and brief chat with folks who obviously regulars. If we were made to feel more welcome and we had more money to burn, I'd give it a four star.
google avatar

Abby B.

Yelp
Great food, excellent service, veteran owned. They give a great credit for your birthday. Tons of beers on tap, happy hour from 2-6. The grenades (stuffed jalapeños) are to die for! They are hot (not like the sissy ones you find at most restaurants.) Live music on certain nights. Just go!

Kristie K.

Yelp
Everything was good and the atmosphere was cool. But $20 fir a burger is way overpriced.
google avatar

Reigh B.

Yelp
Service is way too slow and the over-priced menu is so/so. You may love it one visit and be extremely disappointed the next.
google avatar

Karma H.

Yelp
Fine little pub. Just do not get the tomato soup. It's very thick and not smooth. Hardly edible. Be warned. I've ordered twice now thinking it was a one time maybe overcooked...all I can say is stick to the regular pub items
google avatar

Christina V.

Yelp
What a badass joint! Family owned and operated, supports veterans, along with great food choices! Since I'm being good conscious right now I opted for green chili and brussel sprouts and while that probably sounds like a "What'" combo it actually paired well. The sprouts were sweet and tangy with a salty finish from the bacon. Then the chili added a nice heat finish in the end plus lots of protein! The restrooms were clean which as I've mentioned in other posts is big for me to ensure a clean kitchen. Service was top notch and they really go above and beyond to ensure covid precautions which gives you that sense of peace. All in all, great place with good food! Would love to come back for an adult beverage and maybe on one of my cheat days.
google avatar

Christa N.

Yelp
Other than being a wee bit slow to get our food order (drinks came fast, though!), excellent food and music and good service overall. My son and I both had different types burgers and we both loved them! See photos for more info... :)

Yelp
This is a good place to hang out and have a few drinks during happy hour. Prices were outrageous, for the most part. Staff was friendly, but not nearly as attentive as they could have been. The food was decent, but definitely cost about 2-10x more than what makes sense. Seriously, I can go to any Mexican restaurant and get free chips and salsa. Here, during happy hour from the happy hour menu, you'll end up paying like $10 for a handful of chips and 3 kinds of salsa. I paid $20 for charcuterie and it was a few crackers, a few slices of meat, a few cheeses, and a few garnishes. I could compose all of that for about $2. I understand that restaurants need to be a profitable business, but the food pricing is just absurd. I'd come back here for pints of beer strictly during happy hour. Unless you like paying $12 after tax and tip for 1 pint of Guinness, you definitely want to come during happy hour where it's more like $7 or $8. Still pricey, but not outrageously unreasonable. The interior is spacious, nice, and clean. There were plenty of TVs showing popular sport events. And the bar setup is pretty good with a wide selection of well and middle grade spirits. I remember when this place used to be packed on St Patty's day. Maybe it hasn't been long enough since covid, maybe people don't like the prices, who knows, but It was not very crowded at all on this St Patrick's day.

Carol S.

Yelp
To be clear, this is 4 stars when compared to other bar food restaurants. The service was fantastic. Our server was super attentive and lovely. The food was good. We split the potato scoops with green chili, which was creative and yummy. I would have liked them to be a bit more crispy. My burger was delish, but not remotely rare as I ordered it. No pink at all. I should have sent it back but I was hungry.
google avatar

Peter V.

Yelp
Great food. The churros are to die for. Green chili potato scoops are awesome. Wonderful service, they actually accommodated us when we walked in for a late night desert.
google avatar

Deja-Rae W.

Yelp
I want to start by saying I'm not from Colorado, my family and I drove up to visit. This burger, the bison burger, is probably the best burger I've had in my life. And the potato scoops are genius. We also had wings, and they were delicious. I loved the atmosphere, it was fun. My server, Bill, was fantastic. He was attentive but didn't hover, he made amazing recommendations and didn't steer us in the wrong direction. Everything was decently priced, and I want to go back immediately for another burger.
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
I don't like giving bad reviews. I believe everybody deserves a second, and sometimes even third chance. That being said, my last few visits to this place have been underwhelming, and that is being extremely polite. Stopped in there with a friend for lunch today because it was convenient between where both of us live. Service was hit and miss with one server being very attentive, but the other one, even with a half empty restaurant, couldn't keep track or stay on task. It happens, I know. My friend, and I ordered some food, and it came out and tasted great, except that there was almost no sauce on our wings, even though we ordered it buffalo style. Not a big deal except that this is not the first or even the second time this is happened but we have established a pattern. Prices are incredibly high in my opinion, $18-$20 for a sandwich or a burger at a pub seems out of control. I wish them nothing but the best of luck but unfortunately I will not be going there again.

James T.

Yelp
food was great but seriously slow service waited 20 min with are waitress talking to friends at the bar finally went up and asked to run my CC no consideration for my time
google avatar

Lauren K.

Yelp
Pretty basic tavern food, definitely not a gastropub. Our server was awkward and unable to multitask. The scenery was soulless even by dive bar standards.
google avatar

Angelica B.

Yelp
First time at this place. We originally came for their happy hour but come to find out they don't do happy hour anymore, so that's a but disappointing. Either way, we stayed anyway. I ordered a margarita and it was not my favorite so my next drink I had some sour beer and that was super yummy. I ordered their Grilled Cheese BLT! Omg that was yummy. My friend ordered the steak with their chimichurri sauce and I was obsessed with that sauce. Even though everything was delicious, the lack of happy hour probably won't make this place a frequent one. But definitely try their food
google avatar

Miya G.

Yelp
Wish we would have found this place sooner. 12/10 food, service and all the above was fantastic. We came in on a Sunday for brunch and bills game. Andres was our server and he was fantastic. He was friendly and helpful and was great at checking in and recommendations. We will definitely be back for dinner and many for breakfasts! And we love a hood veteran owned business as a military family!
google avatar

RB S.

Yelp
Good food, good service and a up tesports bar atmosphere. Nice owner and accommodating staff. Thumbs up!

Ashley F.

Yelp
Really glad I stumbled upon this little spot! They have a low key chill environment and many TVs to watch sports on. The few times I have been there they haven't been crazy busy either- even during football games. Their food is good too! I had wings and the brussel sprouts for an appetizer. The brussel sprouts were a tad bit over cooked, but great taste and overall good. Will most definitely be back and want to check out their brunch.
