My buddy recommended coming here and giving it a try so my wife and I did just that. When you walk in it can be a bit confusing at first but grab a number and wait till it is called. If one wants to dine in still grab a number because you have to place your order at the front. Once you place your order, they will give you a number to place on your table. We ordered cheese sticks, cheese pizza and a Stromboli (forgot to take a picture of it). The pizza wasn’t that bad, it is a bit soggy near the tip and middle but the near the crust and the actual crust was amazing. I ordered the cheese sticks extra crispy because my buddy told me when he orders them, at times the cheese is cold which ordering them extra crispy was the right option. We also ordered some deserts which they are not overly sweet and tasted pretty good. The crowds come and go which a lot of people just picked up their orders or placed them to go. Also, they don’t have a fountain drinks so be ready to pay an over priced soda. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and do recommend coming in and trying their food.

Google
Alpine Bakery did a phenomenal job with our wedding cheesecakes! We did not want traditional wedding cake for our reception and Alpine’s cheesecakes are so delicious – the absolute best! They were very responsive and helpful with all of my questions throughout the planning and ordering process. They beautifully arranged my wedding flowers on the main cake and provided to-go boxes for guests to take home leftovers. I’d highly recommend them for any special occasion. We can’t wait to order more cheesecakes in the future to celebrate our anniversaries!

Google
The cakes and truffles from Alpine Bakery are top notch as always. I ordered my groom's cakes from here in 2008 and the taste is just as amazing as back then so they're keeping the quality up. We've also used them for desserts got larger parties and the food always goes over well. The strawberry Swiss roll is amazing and I can't recommend it enough. The noise level was overwhelming to me but I was there the evening before Mother's Day so it was a lot busier than normal according to the employee that helped me. Once I got there I saw they do phone and online orders so if you already know what you want I recommend that.

Google
First time. I had a craving for strawberry cream cheese cup cake. Which they didn’t have anything of that sort beside strawberry mousse cupcake with chocolate drizzle. The Cheese cake was about $12 very fresh. Nice portion. When I entered into the shop the ppl that worked there were very friendly and helpful once I told them that it was my first time. They also have a wide variety of food as well.

Google
We Order from here all the time and usually is great. We ordered a pepperoni cheese pizza. Once we started to eat our pizza we noticed it tastes like fish. We pulled the cheese back and found fish. We didn’t order fish. My girlfriend is also allergic to fish. Won’t ever order pizza from Alpine again. Called and complained we received a $20 gift card :(

Google
Great customer service. The ladies behind the counter were nice and patient explaining the different pastries. Can't wait to come back to try the pizza and sandwiches

Google
This place is off the chain! About 5–10 years ago, my dad used to pick up sweets from the Alpine bakery on his way home from work—Neapolitan cookies, cheesecake balls, etc., and we always loved them. Now, as an adult living in Roswell, I decided to try it again. We got a pepperoni and Italian sausage pizza along with a few different desserts. Everything was absolutely delicious. I’m a huge cheesecake critic, and their Oreo cheesecake bar is to die for. This place is a solid 10/10—go visit them!

I hadn’t been here in a long while, but absolutely amazing. I stopped in on a personal visit I’m never disappointed, atmosphere is soo amazing, employees are sweet as their treats. Thank you for being such great people.

Yelp
Love their pizza and their cakes and cookies. I don't know how they manage to bake all the beautiful varieties of cookies and cakes, plus pies! We love the chocolate cake...honestly everything we have ever tried is so good. Family friendly and well worth a stop. Guaranteed to offer some sweet treat you will love!

Yelp
I guess I was used the place being a bakery and also a trattoria. It seems the service was not really there. You kind of had to keep going up to ask for things. The food while it was edible, I just missed the italian flavors. For the prices to stay the same like when they were a trattoria is wild, because it was giving mall food court food. Actually I probably would've preferred eating at a mall food court. The pizza was undercooked, and very thin. The crust was actually the best part. Sbarro at the mall makes a better pizza! We don't even like Sbarro. The Rueben was very pickly in taste, like I get theres sauerkraut, but the bread tasted like pickles too. The meatballs and fried ravioli were flavorless. The marinara sauce didn't help, marinara sauce needed more italian seasoning. It straight up tastes like crushed tomatoes with sprinkles of " parmesan" The people who work there obviously don't know what's in the food because I had to ask three different people if the meatballs had pork in it. There was pork in it. Sbarro also has better meatballs We ordered 4 coffees. 1 hot latte, 2 Iced latte and 1 frappe all were supposed to be in 12oz. I felt like they put it in 8oz glasses alcohol serving glasses. Not at all worth it. "12" oz iced latte cups. With Ice we basically got a shot of coffee and a shot of milk, and quarter cup of ice. The warm latte was one of those double lined coffee cups, so it looked big but it also wasn't really. I know this place isn't known for coffee, but my group felt scammed. Literally scammed, Starbucks gives us more coffee in their TALL and its also 12oz! No, we did not complain to our servers because it's not their fault, the restaurant is skimping on glassware. This review is not based solely on my opinions, but the group as a whole. Have you ever been excited about eating the last slice of pizza, only for someone else to eat it before you? Well nobody wanted the last slice of pizza here. That's how disappointed we were. We spent around $90 on food and desserts, and honestly for the price point the quality and taste was not worth it. Luckily the desserts were still good, PRICEY, but good, so if I HAD to come back, I will be taking desserts to go. If our meal wasn't so disappointing, I think we would've been more willing to order even more desserts. The desserts looked absolutely amazing. I don't want to take away from the fact that this place is also a bakery. Cheesecakes have always been my favorite! My friend- highly recommends getting desserts that have an actual price on them and don't get the ones that are weighed. We don't know if their scales are correct because clearly their coffee cups are not.

Yelp
This place had a HUGE baked goods sections. I got 5 (giant) cupcakes so we could try different flavors. White chocolate raspberry - it was good but sweeter than the rest German chocolate - everyone's least favorite, a little dry Carrot cake - this flavor is one of my favorite, I'm craving for it already Strawberry shortcake - didn't try, was told by a strawberry lover that is was really good Red velvet - my guilty pleasure, I could not stop eating this one What really surprised me was that all the cupcakes were surprisingly not as sweet as I thought it would be. It's perfectly sweetened.

Yelp
This is one of the cutest places to visit for lunch or a coffee date. The desserts are endless and so good. The calzones here are huge and good-filled end to end. I had a great friend date here, and we stayed for a while in the comfy chairs chatting. The service is wonderful as well.

Yelp
If you aren't familiar with the way they take orders, it can be confusing. When you arrive, you're asked to take a number, and when your number is called, they take your order at the counter. Restaurant had a huge selection of desserts that would take weeks or months to enjoy. Their sandwich and fries were good, but my favorite was the carrot cake. I enjoyed the German Chocolate Cake, but it wasn't what i was expecting. They have fudge around it. Restaurant had plenty of seating.

Yelp
**SUPERB pastries** Met up with friends at this cute little spot for a small bite to eat. To say that they have a few sweets to please any palate would be a major under statement. The counter staff is very friendly and most helpful when it comes to those of us who cannot decide what we would like to order. They also have a few lunch items as well - pizza, slices, calzones, small salads. I ordered a couple of slices of pizza and my friends ordered sandwiches. I do have to say I was disappointed with the pizza, as the toppings were not melted onto the pizza very well and would fall off during the course of eating. But overall this is a very neat little spot.

Yelp
Came here for lunch after a coworker raved about it. It's pretty overwhelming at first bc you walk in to cases on cases of gorgeous, decadent desserts! It took me a while just to look at everything, and even longer to decide. I finally decided on a chocolate raspberry cake wedge, which was gigantic! It's easily enough for 4 people to share, esp bc it was extremely rich. The caprese was as tasty as it was beautiful. A fresh salad was the perfect entree for the desserts. I could only have a couple bites of the cake and prob got through half the slice in the next couple days. Def made note of a few other desserts for my next visit.

Yelp
An elaborate variety of excellent pastries, cakes, etc. The variety of cheesecake desserts are really good. Service is excellent. Staff extremely polite and helpful.

Yelp
Wow. Gentleman running the pre Thanksgiving pickups (wearing mask and hat) was rude and condescending. He was very unclear and aggressive with people that were taking numbers as they waited in line to spend money. If you didn't understand the "ticket process" process, he quickly reprimanded you. Meanwhile, no one got it right. Not a great way to get in the festive holiday mood. Perhaps a trained and experienced customer service person (or just someone friendly) should be out front?

Yelp
Great dessert options. Good Italian food options. Love the meatball sub. Good location in Crabapple area.

Yelp
Case after case of sweet treats - pies, cakes, cookies, cupcakes, bars, etc. We come here for birthday cakes and anytime someone asks me to bring a dessert for a gathering at their home. We've never been disappointed. My kids don't like the cupcakes as much as they do the actual whole cakes. They say the cupcakes don't taste the same. You can also stop in for wine and lunch. There is seating inside and a covered patio, too, but I've never seen the patio in use. There is a sign stating that a new patio is coming soon. The meatball parmesan sub is enormous. My teenage son said it was large enough to share. They also serve pizzas, salads, smoothies, lattes and coffee. If you're in downtown Crabapple, and have a sweet tooth or just want to grab a bite, Alpine is a decent spot.

Yelp
The bakery items are delightful! Purchased multiple pies for Thanksgiving (delicious). Came back and purchased some other items for a Christmas party and then again, purchased other items for a game night event, w friends, months later. Yummy stuff. Impress others, by bringing dessert to your next event.

Yelp
This is kind of funny. Alpine bakery is located in the same shopping plaza as my dentist. So I stop by Alpine bakery every time I go to the dentist, which is about every 6 months. It's not really good for my teeth but the desserts are out of this world! My favorite dessert is the decadent flourless chocolate cake. It is very dense and if chocolate is your thing then this is right up your alley. I get a slice of cake which takes me about 3 days to finish. It's wonderful! My family tends to go for the cupcakes or the tarts. Honestly everything is good. This place is amazing. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This is a pretty cool spot and it functions almost like a deli. You pull a number and when your number gets called they help you at the counter. There's definitely a certain novelty to coming here, and there's just an incredible amount of products offered. The people working here are very nice, but I wasn't all that impressed with the food we got. I think they may be better at baked goods because the Oreo cheesecake bar was really good. However, their entree items were okay at best. They looked good but the taste was honestly lacking. I would probably just come back here for dessert and coffee only.

Yelp
I ordered a birthday cake for my father in law and it was absolutely delicious! Mind you, I don't care for sweets and loved it!!!! #Million dollar Cake A friend had highly recommended this place while being out of town. She said people drive from all over the state just to eat a slice of their delicious cakes! She was right!!! I will absolutely be back soon! Definitely a slice of heaven! Call to order ahead it does get packed!!

Yelp
The closest I've found to true NY style pizza in the metro ATL area. Their carrot cake is the best I've ever had - anywhere.

Barbara W.

Yelp
Not just a bakery.... Celebrated St Patrick's day there. Yum. Got biscotti. Lemon meringue cake & apple strudel. Lemon cake was my favorite.
google avatar

Amina C.

Yelp
The best coconut cake I've ever had! So moist and pleasant. I can't wait to return to try other menu items!

Barbara K.

Yelp
I think this place is average at best - for lunch as well as for baked goods. I have seen several reviews speaking about how good the cheesecakes and baked goodies are but I found them lacking in flavor and taste. The place is huge and clean which I appreciated but as far as baked goods go, I have had much better for less $$ elsewhere.
google avatar

Toral S.

Yelp
Food is fine! Ambiance is friendly and casual Service while friendly... it's really really slow. You see lot of people behind the counter so they have enough staff but I had to wait over 30 minutes to get a slice of cake! I thought of just leaving multiple times
google avatar

Christian E.

Yelp
Dessert OVERLOAD!! So many fantastic options my wallet and waistline cringe when I walk in here. Great prices for the sizes you get compared to other bakeries. All the crust on the pie bars is thick, so they don't crumble and can be picked up easily. The blueberry crumble bar was HUGE! The peanut butter pie bar and truffles were terrific. The only thing that was just ok was the German chocolate cupcake. It was a little fudge/brownie tasting with not enough coconut. Overall, everything was delicious and big enough to split.
google avatar

Kim C.

Yelp
Not only do they have the BEST cakes and other delicious treats, this place also rocks the pizza game! You order at the counter and they deliver it to your table. We ordered salads as well that were perfect. We came at the off hour so we didn't have a hard time getting a table nor did we wait long. Portions were huge, the pizzas had a good amount of cheese (which I love!) and everything was very reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back for lunch!

Joann N.

Yelp
Oh my! This will be a new favorite when coming into town for business!! A friend told us about this bakery and we were NOT disappointed! The selections, of course, are endless! My husband had the meatball Parmesan sandwich. The flavor was excellent but the meatballs were a little dry. The fries were SO good - tasted like they had a little Parmesan on them as well. I ordered their Chocolate cheesecake - couldn't eat it all, of course and brought it home. We also had some coconut macaroons fantastic! The staff were very friendly and the ambience was great! Definitely recommend this bakery!

Yelp
Alpine Bakery is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly baked goods fills the air, enticing you to indulge in their delectable offerings. The bakery boasts a wide variety of treats, from artisanal bread and pastries to custom cakes and desserts, all made with the finest ingredients and crafted with care. Each bite is a delight, bursting with flavor and expertly crafted. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent customer service with a smile. Whether you're stopping by for a quick treat or ordering a custom cake for a special occasion, Alpine Bakery is sure to exceed your expectations. A must-visit for any dessert lover!

Yelp
Not organic Ingredients. I couldn't find any information on where they source their ingredients. I found their factory on Google maps so remember this when you think "bakery". Lol

Yelp
A local gem! Great pizza and desserts with speedy service. Treat yourself or friends and family.

Yelp
We've lived in the area for years, but today was actually my first visit to the Alpine Bakery in Alpharetta. While looking at the displays of the cakes and cookies, I was tempted to try one of everything. Nevertheless, I decided to try the snickerdoodle and lemon cookies. The cookies actually tasted much better than I had imagined. They tasted fresh and flavorful. They were soft and simply delicious. I also decided to try a slice of their pepperoni pizza. Being that this is a bakery, the pizza crust was pure perfection. This was probably the best New York style slice of pizza I've ever had. The dough, sauce, cheese and pepperoni all complimented each other very well. The only reason I've not giving them is a 5 star review is due to the somewhat confusing ordering process. When I entered the restaurant, there was a deli style ticket dispenser. I took a number and then waited around 10 minutes for my number to be called. The confusion came from all of the different lines where some people were picking up orders and the rest of us weren't exactly sure who was going to help us and when. Based upon the taste and quality of the food, I'll definitely be back. This may even become my goto place for an occasional sweet or slice of pizza.

Yelp
On Dec. 6 my daughter and I went to Alpine to have dessert after we had lunch elsewhere. We walked into alpine happy to consumption something sweet. Once we had walked in, there were only 2 other people being helped a lot of other employees standing around and not offering to attend to us. At this point another man had walked in after us. . A man wearing a bandana over his face said have you ladies been helped I said, "No". Then he asked "do have a #" I said "No". Then he ask the man that had walked in after us do you have a #. The man said yes and he proceeded to help him. The man with the bandana could have told me the process of the restaurant and not just move on to the next customer. So we stood there waiting because I was in shock . So I looked around and saw where I pull a #. We pulled a # and still no one wanted to help us. Another guy finally asked have you ladies been helped. I said No apparently you have to have a F@&$ number to be helped here. The man in the bandana said that we're not going to be help you. I was fuming at this point. That man with the bandana has no respect for people. My daughter and I walked out and we will never support this business again. If Alpine has a process of how they attend to customers make it clear or have someone at the door guiding customers to grab a #. I was in such shock because we have been going there for the past 13years. All I have to say is that man with the bandana is going to drive Alpine to ground treating people the way he does.

Kavan P.

Yelp
Their Cakes are very very good. Service of staff is pretty good. My Go to place for dessert.

Yelp
Alpine Bakery - I'll never dessert you! I am so very sorry I have tried this gem; well my waist is. Alpine offers an overwhelming amount of desserts (which have all been delicious)! They also sell pizza, salads, and some sandwiches, but I have yet to venture past the dessert cases. Ordering can sometimes take a while depending on the crowd. Pinky promise it is worth the wait, though! So far, we have tried the following: Fresh Fruit Cheesecake Bar ($9.95) Red Velvet Cupcake ($5.95) Turtle Cheesecake Cupcake ($5.95) Various Cheesecake Truffles ($14.95/lb) Chocolate Suicide Cake Slice ($8.95) Black & White Cookie ($3.95) Key Lime Pie Bar ($6.50) Oreo Cheesecake Bar ($10.95) The desserts are so amazing! All of them. The cheesecakes are probably some of our favorites and the chocolate suicide cake is perfect. I love fudge cake and the combination of the thick fudge with the moist cake is to die for. The cheesecake truffles are actual balls of cheesecake dipped in chocolate! Yes please. I love to make a cheesecake sandwich with the turtle cheesecake cupcake. Rip the bottom piece of the cake off and put it on top of the cheesecake and there you have it! I love that the "frosting" is cheesecake - so yummy. I finally tried the black & white cookie and I'm sorry I waited this long. It has the perfect texture and is HUGE, not to mention delicious. The one thing we were not super impressed with was the red velvet cupcake. The cake part absolutely disintegrated into crumbs when we bit it. The flavor was good, but the consistency was off. Perhaps it was a bad batch or an older cupcake because honestly everything we have had here has been excellent. We will keep coming back again and again. Much more often than we should for the next little while but I'll blame the pregnancy hormones! Keep on being dreamy, Alpine Bakery. I'll see you soon!

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Great selection of cakes and pastries. They also offer lunch items like pizza and salads. We tries a couple of pastries and a cappuccino! As always, based on the name I get too excited thinking I will find European (Italian) flavors. Nope, but still a nice concept and a good product.
google avatar

William M.

Yelp
I pre ordered key lime pie and pumpkin pie take out. Got there to pick them up the day before Thanksgiving. Long line waiting but moved pretty quit. Decided to see if I could add a pecan pie not previously ordered. No problem. Very helpful staff . The pies were delicious-a big hit with my family of six.
google avatar

Margie B.

Yelp
Bakery is excellent. Pizza is excellent. A little disappointed that they came back from Covid and did away with the restaurant, but there is an "eat in" area if you want to eat your pizza or pastries there after you buy them at the counter.

Janet A.

Yelp
After enjoying Alpine bakery cakes for many years, my niece did not hesitate to order her wedding cake from their Custom Studio. Not only was it beautiful, it was no surprise the cake itself was a big hit -raved about by all. Simply the BEST! Thank you! Janet Algers
google avatar

Rachel N.

Yelp
Order at the counter, cozy place. The pizza is great! They serve beer and wine. Great selection of deserts.

Pedro R.

Yelp
It's ok nothing exceptional. I expected a bakery but the place smells like pizza a shop. The service is slow. I went in to purchase two cupcakes from the display and after taking a number I waited 10 minutes with just two people in front of me who were also getting 1 or 2 simple items from the display. It not like they need to make these things on the spot. I think the staff prioritize online orders and ignores customers that come into the business.
google avatar

Nicholas T.

Yelp
This place cant get customer service right. The bakery counter is awful, with great products, but no counter help. I arrived with 9 people in line and took my number as I walked in. I was there 10 minutes, and not 1 number was taken. There was one server, and he disappeared, while the other server spent the 10 minutes with a customer buying a cake.
google avatar

John P.

Yelp
The menu posted online is not up to date. The menu changed when they renovated and it's no longer full service. The desserts are the best though and I still come here for those

Bridget P.

Yelp
Very pleased with this carrot cake ! Bought it for my husbands birthday and guests loved it.
google avatar

Brendon K.

Yelp
I love the baked goods, pizzas, and sandwiches here, but the counter service is slow to the point of parody. I swear I thought I was being pranked in there the last time I was standing in line. I think they're all trying to be celebrity chefs, so customer service seems beneath their training.
google avatar

Wissal E.

Yelp
This place's name is synonymous for great pastry that takes right to Ferrara's in Little Italy, NYC. The strawberry shortcake never disappoints. The cheesecake truffles and the Pignoli cookies (to name a few), are delicious! This has been my family's go to place when we don't have time to bake or for any impromptu event we plan or need to go to. The best pastry shop in town, hands down!!
google avatar

Diego B.

Yelp
While the desserts are absolutely good, they have pizza that is absolutely amazing! I try to go by every once in a while and order a well done cheese pizza, around $18, and a slice of the 'million dollar cake,' around $8. Well worth a visit and for sure worth the money!
google avatar

Dave K.

Yelp
Carson provided me with excellent customer service and I can't thank him enough. This place should be everyone's go-to for all your cake/pie/awesome pizza needs.
google avatar

Yelp
I was so excited to find this place! There was a line and lots of people sitting to eat and I love dessert! Interior was cute and clean, they have tons of options, and the line was moderately efficient. I thought I found my new favorite place but then I tried a bite from each of the items I got (German chocolate cupcake, carrot cake cupcake, chocolate cheesecake, and almond chocolate cannoli). I was so disappointed they all tasted blah. Not if them were flavorful or decadent. If I closed my eyes I could only tell you about texture not flavor.
google avatar

Kash D.

Yelp
Oh yes ma'am this is some nyc pizza.. lol!! I love the burrata caprese salad as well. I buy two pies everything I go and freeze one because it's a distance from me. But nonetheless it reminds me of home
google avatar

Yelp
This place is incredible! I recently ordered a large cake and cupcakes for a holiday party and let me say it's some of the best cake I've had. The chocolate mousse is so light and delicious and the carrot cake is so good. I will 100% be using them for any future cake needs or wants.

Yelp
A neighbor gave us a box of Italian cookies from Alpine Bakery right before Christmas. The cookies were amazingly delicious - reminded me of the NY / NJ / CT bakeries that my family used to frequent. We found ourselves driving around nearby and decided to go for lunch at Alpine. The bakery has a great variety of cookies and pastries in display. Quite attractive display actually. Our trip for lunch included a couple of salads and an Italian sub. The entrees were quite delicious but what sets Alpine Bakery apart is its baked goods. The variety of amaretti cookies is worth the trip alone. Moist, almond flavored nuggets perfect for the Christmas Holidays (and every other day of the year). One in my party objected to the overly strong almond flavor in the cookies but for me, the distinctive almond flavor is what I remember from the Italian bakeries of my youth. It also goes very well with an espresso! To me, these are the perfect Italian cookies!

Yelp
Went to go visit a friend and saw this on the way. I've always wanted to visit a place like this where everyone can pick their own dessert so I knew we needed to stop by. It was a very cute place with lots of seating. We just got dessert to go so we got a number and then was called on immediately. We selected a sugar cookie and a slice of the Oreo cake. Both were delicious!! The sugar cookie was perfectly soft but firm and the Oreo cookie was delicious, even days after. I highly recommend this place if you want a sweet treat and want many options to choose from. If only we lived earlier..I would love to come here more often!

Nushie N.

Yelp
The cakes and cookies never disappoint. I've been countless times and I'm just getting around to reviewing it.

Yelp
This is the real life Willy Wonka's Factory - for all those dessert fiends out there, this should be high up on the list to try! On your first visit you'll likely be blown away for several minutes and completely immobilized by the sheer number of cakes, cookies, cheesecakes, chocolates and more to choose from. My family has frequented the bakery over the years, and we decided to skip the homemade desserts for the holidays and instead indulge in some of Alpine Bakery's sweet treats. Needless to say they were even busier than usual around the holidays, but they have a pretty efficient system where you take a number upon entry and are then able to browse the display cases until your number is called. This system seems to allow people the time and space to choose what they want, so that when their number is called they are ready to order. There really is something for everyone here. My husband is notorious for not caring for sweets - Alpine's New York Truffle Cheesecake balls have changed that. Whether you have a birthday, holiday, special occasion or just a need for something scrumptious - this bakery has everything you could possibly want to choose from and we have never been disappointed with any of our selections. My only knock against it is the price - it is pricey, but you get what you pay for!
