"Situated at an altitude of 2 000m in the Plan de Corones ski area, this restaurant is accessed via the cable-car from Riscone and then, in winter, by walking (or skiing) for around 150m through the snow. This impressive project by famous chef Norbert Niederkofler showcases his “Cook the Mountain” philosophy, where a modern approach and Alpine traditions combine to create perfect dishes full of flavour, all inspired by the seasons with a focus on using the whole ingredient with no food waste. "I had lunch next door at Alpinn restaurant, a glass box spectacularly cantilevered over the edge of the crest, with wraparound views over the Puster Valley to the heights of the Zillertal Alps. The design was breathtaking and as local as the ingredients, the risotto was divine, and room gave the sensation of being airborne, like the paragliders sailing past the window."
