Detroit Media’s Favorite Restaurant Meals of 2023 | Eater Detroit

"A fall dinner featured a beef tagliata that was the best steak dish I had all year: six ounces of flank steak glazed with vincotto delivered that sweet-savory-umami flavor I crave, and the smoked salmon rosti was so good my partner and I ordered seconds after fighting over the last bite." - Serena Maria Daniels

10 incredible natural phenomena to experience at least once in your life - SilverKris

"High-altitude mountain glaciers in this range behave like immense rivers of ice, sculpting crevasses, canyons, and dramatic landforms; visitors can experience these icy behemoths from helicopters, cruise-like excursions in some places, or up-close glacier-trekking tours for unforgettable encounters with glacial landscapes." - SAUL LIPCHIK

Nice view i guess, it isn't wheelchair accessible tho and the sky looks a bit fake. Also, it's a bit to hilly it would be nicer if it's not so steep. The staff is friendly tho!

Nobody speaks portuguese and they wear too many layers of clothes. weird people. Useless to go uphill and too exhausting, but the view was nice. Good for vacations, but not for living there!

Europe's most extensive mountain system, formed by the collision of the African and Eurasian tectonic plates. The range exhibits classic glacial features; U-shaped valleys, cirques, and moraines - from repeated Pleistocene glaciations. Its vertical zonation of climate and ecology has profoundly influenced human settlement and transalpine trade for millennia.

It was with joy that I first beheld the Julian Alps, nestled within the Slovenian landscape. The influence that (dare I call it) simple rock can have on the senses, the climate and the resultant habitat, can teach us so much. This is a beautiful wonder of nature, that reminds us of the need for humility and a sense of balanced perspective in life.

Amazing landscapes, beautiful mountain chain… definitely worth visiting any part. I recommend: Swiss, Austria and Italy

Indescribable beauty! And we were at the beginning of winter. When there is still little snow. Imagine how beautiful it is in winter!

I was hoping so much my flight from Amsterdam to Florence would pass so close to the Alps. Like a chump I did not book a window seat but I was so lucky to receive one. For an hour I was treated to the most dazzling view. I got to detach from everything and watch stunning mountains and beautiful valley pass by. I could see the gorgerous rivers and snowy moutain tops and all the scenic mountain towns and villages. A great I'll remember always.
