Al's #1 Italian Beef

I had the beef sandwich, and it was delicious! The beef was savory and tender, and it was full of flavor. The fries were equally as good. When we went, it was on a Wednesday afternoon. It wasn’t busy at all, and they served us our food within 5 minutes after ordering. Would recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Recently my family and I took a train to Chicago to see a Cubs game at Wrigley. After the game we stopped by Al's for Italian Beef and other items for the children. The service was amazing! Food was amazing! I highly recommend the Italian beef and fries and this establishment!

Decided to try some beef after a Cubs win. Split the jumbo between three of us. Got it dry with hot giardiniera. Beef was already wet enough but had good taste. Bread stayed in tact with the sheer amount of meat which was nice. While this was good, I don’t ever see myself craving one just based on my preferences, however, I do see why people rave about Italian beef sandwiches.

We got our food incredibly fast, and man was it fantastic comfort food! The beef sandwich was juicy, spicy, and my wife had the Chicago dog, which she loved! And the chili cheese fries were on point! Great food at a great price 👌

The Italian Beef sandwich was incredible. Good family friendly atmosphere. Staff was very helpful. Will certainly be back!

Sandwich was pretty good, nice spicy kick but nothing too special. Was expecting more flavor tbh

I ordered the Beefy Fries and honestly they are so good they should rename them "Windy City Nachos" (*pictured with no giardiniera and added kalamata olives at home because I can't eat spicy food)

First time to this location. Food was good. Mildly different from the original Taylor street location. But I live out of state now, on my way back home, AND Taylor street was closed for the holiday.
