This is one of the places you brag visiting to your friends about. A truly charming restaurant that makes you feel like you are in a comfy and warm living room in some cozy alpine hut. That it's just off the main road in a smaller street helps with that image. Also the entrance is very charming because it enforces the alpine hut feeling even more. The food was wonderful. Swiss cuisine with a modern touch. For my personal taste a little on the higher end with the salt but still okay - I usually do not use too much salt so for most people it will be fine. Great selection of wines both local and foreign. What I liked a lot about the wine menu is that it included a recommendation to the dishes on the menu. So for someone who is new to wine that is a great help. Prices for both wine and food were very adequate and not too high considering the quality that you get. Wait staff is very friendly and you might even catch a few words in the local language romontsch sursilvan.

The best restaurant you can find in Disentis. Excellent cuisine paired with very attentive but non-intrusive service. Highly recommended for lunch and / or dinner.

Great place for a perfect swiss-style dining experience! Everything we tried was very good. Try the Maluns (“Maluns nit Apfelmus und Bergkäse”) for something really special.

Delicious fresh dishes from the Grisons. The restaurant has a traditional rustic interior and is very cozy.

As always, delicious meals, authentic local atmosphere. Can't wait to return!

Exceptional setting, cuisine and staff if you want to have a true local experience.

We didn’t feel welcome at all and we were served briefly with the quick/short menu at 2pm. I was expecting a bit more from a restaurant during winter high season. I was rudely interrupted when asking about the available drinks. Might look good but from the outside, and it is definitely not worth it.

Hard to share the negative ratings... We had a great lunch, the food was lovely and so was the service. Lunch only though...
