Althea’s Hideaway Lounge, Nightclub & Rooftop

Evenings on a New York rooftop always carry a special energy. This is where parties, art exhibitions and all kinds of events turn every night into a story. For me this rooftop is my favorite spot in the city. The atmosphere is friendly, the service is top notch and people are open and easy to connect with. But most importantly this is where you’ll find the best hookah in New York. And not just anywhere but outdoors right in the heart of Manhattan. Where else in the center of New York can you enjoy such a combination? Hookah lovers welcome. Everything here is made for those who choose only the best. I recommend booking your table in advance since the demand is high and it’s no surprise because you won’t find an atmosphere like this anywhere else.

I found this location during fashion week. They were hosting after parties. The location is beautiful and discreetly upstairs once you get there it has a nice floral ambience. The DJ was amazing. Customer service was spot on. I got a hookah and a couple of drinks with my friends. Definitely would come back again and recommend to others. Right across from the water, gorgeous. If you’re looking for a place to be check out the events they throw. I came for the house music🫶🏼🥰

I had a fantastic experience at Althea’s rooftop! The atmosphere was vibrant and perfect for a night out. The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were top-notch. Such an incredible and cozy rooftop. Went there with my wife for a European DJ last weekend. The music was at perfect volume where we were able to speak without yelling. The drinks were perfect and plenty. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I think the place does private events which I am thinking of doing my birthday there. Overall, I highly recommend Althea’s.

Recently was at the Althea for the July 4th celebration and I was very happy that I made this choice. The atmosphere was amazing! Very celebratory and with the great music. Hookah deserves separate shout out, very high quality and probably the best I had in years! Service, food, everything was outstanding. As a huge bonus the view of the fireworks. Will definitely book a table here if next year will be again on the Hudson side.
