Altira Macau

Stayed at Altira Macau on my birthday and had a fantastic experience. The room was well prepared, and check-in was smooth. Special thanks to the front desk and concierge team for helping receive my birthday cake and for storing a case of wine that arrived ahead of time, which made the celebration hassle-free. Dining at Aurora was memorable — the staff were attentive and the food was top-notch. The rib eye and lobster bisque were absolutely superb. However, my only disappointment was being seated next to a family with a small child who was crying loudly throughout the meal. For a restaurant aiming for a fine dining atmosphere, this affected the experience somewhat. As always, the hotel’s service quality was excellent. The telephone operator was consistently polite and addressed me by name, and every staff member provided sincere and heartfelt service. I would gladly stay again. Overall, Altira Macau maintains a high standard of hospitality, and I highly recommend it for special occasions.

My stay was incredibly pleasant. The room was spacious and featured amazing glass windows that offered beautiful scenery. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to several tourist spots; however, be sure to check that the schedule at the pick-up point matches what is shown at the hotel. If there is a discrepancy, please use the schedule at the pick-up point as your guide. The swimming pool is currently closed, but the large round bathtub is a nice alternative. The room's design is similar to a suite, offering a comfortable experience for all hotel guests. Due to the holiday season, I found the prices to be higher than I expected. Overall, I have no complaints. Just keep up the good work!

The room is spacious, neat and clean. We love the bathtub especially our kids since there is also a tv where you can watch while relaxing. We were provided with a cake for the kids and the kids love it. We were also provided with kids toiletries and bathrobes which is not common to other hotels. The pool is warm and the view is picture perfect. The amenities also include dry sauna, steam sauna and a jacuzzi which I think is a plus especially to those who are tired and just want to relax away from a busy life. Overall, this is a hotel worth your money!

We had a wonderful experience at Altira Macau, even before we arrived! Due to a missed flight, we had to delay our arrival until late evening. Despite the change, the hotel team was incredibly understanding and held our room without any issues. ||A special thank you to Patrick from the Contact Centre, who kindly offered to arrange a transfer for us when he learned of our situation. Although we ultimately decided to make our own way to the hotel, his thoughtful gesture and readiness to help truly impressed us.||The warmth and professionalism shown by the team made us feel well taken care of, and we’re grateful for the smooth check-in after a long day of travel. Highly recommend Altira Macau for anyone looking for both comfort and outstanding service.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Macau. The room was incredibly spacious and beautifully maintained, and every room comes with a stunning sea view, which made the experience even more relaxing. The service was excellent—staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, and we truly enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Macau.

Second stay here and it was just as good as the first time. Great customer service. Ying restaurant for Dim Sum was great. Large room. Quick access to bus stops. It is in a safe area, but gave it 4 stars for location because it isn't in the "prime" area. The upside for the location is you have incredible views overlooking the bay.

Really fantastic hotel. Great facility with good gym and pool. Room is sizable, clean and tidy. Bathtub and shower are well equipped. Totally worth the price! Would like to rebook for CNY but they are already fulled! Also, warm hospitality, great staff and team.

The hotel was very clean overall and featured an indoor swimming pool, Steam room and GIM rooms. The staff were professional and always smiling. My room had an excellent view and was very sunny. There were many dining options nearby. However, the most disappointing thing was that there was no direct shuttle bus from the ferry terminal or the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge station to the hotel. You had to transfer at an interchange, which greatly reduced my willingness to stay. If the shuttle bus issue could be resolved, this hotel would be perfect.
