Alto Tostado - Review - Coral Gables - Miami - The Infatuation

"Drinking coffee at Alto Tostado is very personalized. The only choice you don’t have at this Coral Gables coffee shop is where those beans are coming from: Bolivia. Everything else is up to you. Espresso, drip, cold brew, and pour-overs are all options. If you go the pour-over route, you can pick which single-origin beans you prefer (we like the Geisha beans) and then choose from hand-pours, automated pours, or Chemex. These brews take time, so it’s not a fast-paced spot. Luckily, that gives you plenty of time to have a salteña. Think of these as Bolivia’s version of an empanada—except it’s a little sweeter and filled with a hearty beef or chicken soup that you sip from one end. The salteñas alone are worth a visit." - Virginia Otazo

Alto Tostado Coffee Roasters - Review - Coral Gables - Miami - The Infatuation

"This Bolivian coffee spot has landed in Coral Gables. They offer a few coffee options and let you pick which beans you want for your pour-over. They also carry salteñas from Ubis Bakery." - Mariana Trabanino

Google
Great experience, phenomenal specialty coffee (hard to find in Miami). We were out trick or treating on Miracle Mile when dada NEEDED a coffee and we stumbled upon this place. Had a nicely dialed espresso and the owners even took time ask me my thoughts and tell me about the Bolivian origins. My measure of a good shop is retail bags <1 week old on shelves. The ones here were roasted ONLY 3 days ago! Extremely fresh. Will certainly be back!

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended for anyone who truly appreciates quality coffee.

I’ve tried Alto Tostado Coffee Roasters today, The first Bolivian specialty coffee in Miami. I loved it! Fresh coffee, cozy atmosphere, and excellent service. They are located right on the miracle mile in Coral Gables. Definitely worth a visit!

If you want the total coffee experience, look no further. Alto Tostado is as good as coffee gets. Lester spent the time to talk us through all of the different bean options for a pour-over and he helped us decide which bean and brewing method would suit each person's palate. He then provided us some grounds to smell to ensure we liked the flavor profile. The coffee itself was divine. The coffee was some of the best I've ever tasted. This is the kind of rich, complex coffee you can slowly sip for an hour just to savor the flavors. You're not going to find a better coffee in town. Lester really takes care of his customers and went above and beyond to make this not just a cup of coffee but an entire experience. You will not be disappointed.

It’s so hard to find good coffee at a good price in Miami but Alto Tostado truly delivers. The coffee is very rich and full of flavor, and you can tell they really care about the quality of their beans. The fact that it’s Bolivian coffee makes it even more special. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Definitely our new favorite spot for a great cup of coffee in the gables

First Bolivian coffee in Miami (and definitely the tastiest). Nice to have a new taste in the area!! I've been to the location in Santa Cruz, Bolivia and I am so happy they've finally opened a location in Miami. Highly recommend trying it!!
