These pictures are from our two visits here. Each time, we have not been disappointed . Great service, delicious food, beautiful spacious atmosphere, and if you're lucky, you'll find some live music like we did during spring break! A little bit loud in the big ballroom area, but we were lucky the performer was very enjoyable! We're definitely looking forward to returning for another feast soon! 🍻🔥👍

YUM! Tasty traditional German food plus healthy options. Tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Our food came out SUPER quick even though it was a super busy day. Great spot to relax and I bet the patio looks super cool at night w all the hanging lights ⭐️

When we booked our trip to Fredericksburg, Altstadt Brewery was a "must see.” It is about a 12 minute drive from the downtown area, but it is worth the drive just to see the structure alone! It's not every day that one comes across a Bavarian castle in the Texas countryside. The property is stunning and so clean. They offer "taproom exclusive" beers and have a nice selection of unique souvenirs. Their beers are also only $3 a pint during happy hour! We decided to eat there as well. The food was great with some unique offerings. Our server was friendly and informative. There was a little bit of a delay at times, but that could have been to the sheer size of the property. Be sure to check out the gorgeous back patio with stunning views of Hill Country.

Google
Fantastic brewery in Fredericksburg! We got a few drinks, had some food, and toured around. Make sure to go downstairs and walk all around the property. It’s huge with a fascinating history. I can only imagine what it’s like in the spring with all the garden blooming! Go for the architecture and experience at least!

We were greeted by Craig who provided an into to the facility and started our experience with a smile. We went to the bar and with John's direction We ate and drank and throughly enjoyed our visit. We will definitely be back!

Anytime we are in Fredericksburg we always stop here. Great beers, merchandise and food. Pretzel and beer cheese sauce is great. Never can go wrong with any of the items on the menu. Always good.

Google
Really fantastic hill country beer hall. Relaxing atmosphere. We went on a beautiful spring day. Lots of wildflowers were out. We got a few flights of beer to try them all out as well as a pretzel and flammkuchen. It’s a bit off from authentic German food but it still hit the spot quite well. We cannot wait to come back.

Google
We had a super time hanging out downstairs in their “speakeasy” lounge area. Fun live music, great service provided by Ericka with food and libations. We enjoyed the pretzel and fries as an appetizer, the pretzel was served with both mustard and a queso sauce, yummy! The seating is set up to facilitate conversation, we had a lovely chat with two friends from another part of the state, such fun. Comfortable chairs, a clean well stocked bathroom and lots of swag and beer to buy on the way out. Do skip the online ordering and go to the bartender, thanks again Ericka for your pleasant service!

Yelp
We came here on a whim. First time and it went really well. We sampled several items. We had the pretzel, Bavarian sausage plate, kids cheese burger, house chips and something else with meat and cheese. Beware of the mustard. A dab goes a long way. The server was polite and attentive even though he was very busy and even making drinks. The ambiance was kind of like an upscale lodge. They do brewery tours which we may book next time.

Yelp
Incredible service and entrees. Be sure to order the chicken schnitzel. It's the best food I've had in a long time. The building is really interesting. I'd recommend spending time in the beer hall or on the patio. The pretzel was a delicious appetizer, although I preferred the ones from Fredericksburg Brewing. There's also a pulled pork bruschetta type appetizer, which I wasn't crazy about, but the entree and service kept the fifth star.

Yelp
The place is beautiful The food was great The service was wonderful We are out of town from Dallas and wanted to try something different. I had the chicken sandwich and it was amazing - I was sad when I ate the last bite! My wife had the schnitzel and she couldn't finish it cause it was a good portion but she loved every bite! This place is beautiful and all the servers were respectful and attentive. Thank you for serving my wife and myself

Yelp
Came here on a girls weekend trip. Food and drinks were good, but you really come for the sights. Just look at the pictures I took! I was full on how the mood and the light decorated the fantastical German castle experience.

Yelp
We we spent the weekend in Fredericksburg to celebrate a friends birthday. There was 12 of us. We had made a dinner reservation for 7:45pm, however how the day at wineries turned out we got to Altstadt at 6:45pm and hostess was gracious and helpful to get us seated early. Menu has various options, everyone enjoyed their food. Beer flight great! Service was really good for a large party and easy to split up check.

Yelp
Alstdat Brewery totally hit the spot! I went with some friends and we had such a great time. I ordered the flammkuchen for my meal and it was delicious, crispy, flavorful, just the right amount of toppings. My husband got the Bavarian sausage plate and he loved it; so full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere there is really chill and beautiful, cozy seating, and perfect for catching up with friends. Plus, our server was amazing! super attentive and friendly without being over the top. Made the whole experience even better. If you're looking for a spot to relax, eat great food, and enjoy some quality time with friends, Alstdat Brewery is where you want to be. We're definitely coming back soon!

Yelp
The vibes felt off here but it was the patrons not the place itself (it's full of old people who would just stare at a bunch of younger people drinking) but the beer was good and the bartender was kind. The bathrooms are also super beautiful, we didn't eat anything here, we just drank one and left.

Yelp
I always enjoy stopping in to Altstadt Brewery when I'm in Fredericksburg. Their food and appetizers are amazing and their beer and drink options are just as good. I especially love their sangria and the jumbo pretzel with beer mustard. The building itself is palatial with an old world design and so many spacious seating options that make for a great time. They have a huge dining hall and outdoor patio area. I enjoy sitting in the bar area especially for happy hour but their restaurant for a larger meal option is also warm and inviting. The ambiance and the food make it a great addition to the winery stops in Fredericksburg.

Yelp
I cannot say enough great things about this place. The service was top notch as our waitress was on point with the menu. Nice open area with spacious settings in which you can enjoy great food with your friends and family. From the pork belly bites to the main course and through the dessert, the flavors were tremendous. Our guest enjoyed what they ordered as well but I didn't get photos. They did let me sample the sea bass Oscar which had such an amazing sauce that really made it all come together. We settled on the Black Forest cheesecake because not everyone liked apples in their dessert but I assure you I will be getting APFELSTRUDEL TATIN on my next visit.

Yelp
CORRECTION TO MY RECENT REVIEW. When our server handed the menu to us, it appeare as though it were a ONE PAGE ONLY MENU. It's a really thick menu.............and so kinda deceptive. That was several days ago. We went again, TODAY................and the server we had actually opened up the entire menu, so we were privileged enough to know there were SEVERAL PAGES......and SEVERAL AMAZING lunch menu choices, as well................even a "Special of the Day". The special was Fish & Chips (deliciously prepared) + the beer onion soup .......which is incredibly yummy. So glad we learned something new, today....................about how large the week day lunch menu actually is. Apology for the earlier review and comment, about a "sparce menu". I was wrong. Love ALSTADT Brewery. You will, too! Gary J.

Yelp
This is the perfect place if you're wanting upscale casual with the perfect touch of rustic. We had Chris as our server for our bachelor/bachelorette trip and he was nothing short of amazing. He offered us suggestions when we were unsure of our cravings and was so kind and sweet. I have been out a lot in FBG and never experienced a server so excited to help us kick off our night! We will absolutely be coming back as the food was fabulous and the drinks were delicious! You MUST TRY the steak frites and charcuterie board with Chris' suggestion of extra bread on the side!!!

Chris R.

Yelp
Amazing building in the hill country. Good selection of beers. I only had the pretzel so I can't comment on the other food. The pretzel was not like a classic German/Bavarian pretzel. It tasted more like sweet white bread. One issue I have is that the flight of beer comes in 4 small (5 oz) plastic cups and costs $12 for 20 oz of beer while 1 Liter (33.8 oz) coats $11. Not exactly a deal since it's basically a sample that should entice you to buy a bigger beer after. $6 Pint / $11 Liter / $12 Flight / $20 Pitcher

Yelp
Been here a few times. Just visited again this past weekend on July 4th. Good German food options. I had the Chicken Schnitzel. The peach bruschetta was really light and fresh! A nice simple appetizer to share with a larger group. Peach Radler Beer was very good also. Can't go wrong with the big pretzel either!
google avatar

Yelp
I thought the beer, food, and atmosphere were all good. Our waitress was kind. I did the flagship flight of beer and liked them all. The pork belly bites weren't anything special, I wouldn't order them again. The jagerschnitzel was delicious with the mushroom cream sauce. The dessert was enough to share 4 ways. Really cool bar area downstairs and the outside garden is serene. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

Yelp
Honestly was a good experience. It's a tourist spot - so go in being patient and you'll have a good time as it will be busy. We went for a late lunch, put our name down for a table, and then grabbed a flight of beers from the lobby bar. The flight was tasty and decent priced. The food itself was savage! The jagersnitzel was soooo good with the sauce and mushrooms. Mashed potato underneath was well seasoned and delicious. The sausage on a stick was also very good. Totally worth a visit for some variety from the vineyards!

Yelp
If you are visiting Fredericksburg its probably worth the short drive to the outskirts of town to check out Altstadt Brewery. The good: Great building and property, has lots of inside and outside space, good parking, and an awesome German style building. Great selection of merchandise. large menu and beer selection. Family friendly and good for large groups. The not so good: service is always just ok. food is not cheap and for the most part is just average. Your best bet is ordering the large boards so there is a selection of things. I just find that in general the food is closer to festival quality and not restaurant quality. They close early most nights 8 or 9pm, not a late night spot. Beers are fine, There are a few I like and a few that I would not order again. Comment on the food. In general the German food in Fredericksburg is mid at best. I would say that Altstadt is the best I have had there and if you are really wanting German food go here for it and not the overcrowded overpriced places in town. In general I like Altstadt even with its flaws its still worth a visit if you are in that part of Texas.

Yelp
We visited on two separate days with 2 very different experiences. First was at night and we were on the pub side of the complex, but in the back outside. Ordered on my phone through the online system and paid. Food came out in a decent time and drinks were ready quite quick. I just didn't realize that I had to go inside to pick it up at the bar by myself. Not much service on the pub side, so tip as you see fit. Charcuterie board and pretzel are mediocre at best. Beer was tasty but nothing to write home about. The second visit me made was for lunch the next day. We were seated outside since we had a lil pup with us. Nice, spacious covered seating with s relaxing view. On this part of the complex, the food really shines. I HIGHLY recommend the Jägerschnitzel and Das Reuben Sandwich. Both were fantastic! I'd definitely visit again for those two dishes. All together 3/5 for pub side and 4/5 for restaurant dining side.

Yelp
I've added menu photos as there are some new additions. We started out with Fred's peach salad and it was full of wonderful fresh peaches. The small salad was actually large enough to share. The Bavarian sausage plate also had generous portions and all the plates we ordered were large enough to share or take home leftovers. The sauerkraut was very fresh and much better than what you can get out of a jar. The mustard sauce was tart and complemented the fresh sausages beautifully. The beef bourguignon had a wonderful crust from the braising and wonderfully flavorful and tender inside. The vegetables were perfectly cooked. Highly recommended! The roast beef dip was delicious and consisted of 2 six inch baguettes which could easily feed 2 people. We ended with the lemon curd tart with white peach meringue that was not only lovely to look at but delicious to enjoy! The ambiance was amazing and reservations are recommended.

Yelp
We were so excited to finally visit Alstadt since we've hit almost every major brewery in Texas except this one. Walking up to the entrance from the parking lot at sunset made for a wonderful view. The line at the main bar was out the door. Good sign, right?! Wrong! The guy at the front desk told us it's the only bar serving drinks. There was another bar but that was for the restaurant and runners. How does a place this massive only have one bar for patrons to order from directly without using QR codes? Since the line was so long, we figured we would walk around and see if there was another bar or seating area. It was so pretty at first glance but the place was so dirty. None of the outside tables had been cleared off. We saw piled up dirty dishes on some outside stairs and walkways. We lucked out and grabbed two open seats at the restaurant bar (that only serves the four bar seats since they mostly make drinks for the runners). After a flight of Taproom Exclusive beer, we ordered food (Chicken Schnitzel and Bavarian Sausage plate). The staff told us the kitchen was backed up and food would take 45 mins or so I appreciated the heads up but lots of people seemed displeased. I heard so many complaints about service and wait times around us. The food was just okay. It certainly wasn't a true schnitzel and I thought there would be 3 different types of sausage on the plate but I got 4 of one style and two of another. Again, it was just okay. Even though I find the beer in stores to be mediocre, I thought the taproom would have something amazing. Everything was "just okay" except for the cleanliness. It was so dirty everywhere. While I'm glad we visited, we won't go back. They need to train staff to be more friendly and clean up the space. They really deserve a 2.5 overall.

Yelp
My friends and I decided to throw a brewery into the mix as we made our way down 290 in a party bus in what was supposed to be a winery weekend. Driving past it on the way to our first stop, we all agreed this place needed to happen on our way back into town. First off, this place is absolutely beautiful to look at. They make German style beer in this German inspired building. They got lots to do here and you can easily spend some time here and not get bored. They have brewery tours, a taproom, a restaurant, a beautiful biergarten with scenic views of the hill country, a grand hall for live music and private events, a tractor museum, and my personal favorite...the Rathskellar. What's the Rathskellar you ask? Head down the beautiful spiral staircase right when you walk in down to the basement and enter into this beautiful, plush lounge area. They have a bar down there with lots of cozy, red leather couches and chairs. They have TVs down there to watch sports. That's my kind of vibe when I want to enjoy beer and sports. We were on a mission to try as many spots as possible, so I was going to make my one drink count. I went with the 290 Jitters Pecan Coffee Stout. It was a nice change from the wine we were drinking all day. The pecan and coffee notes were definitely there and was an excellent sipping beer. From what I heard, everyone enjoyed what they had here. We ended up spending a good amount of time here and it was well worth it. I would love to come back and try the German food as well as their other beer offerings. I am definitely a fan of Altstadt and will be back!

Yelp
We came back based on our last experience... Alstadt did not disappoint! I had a great peach beer only 3 bucks for happy hour! The jagerschnitzel with mashed potatoes was so yummy... the sausage plate with sauerkraut and the yummy mustard sauce was so good! Service was great, Mr. Bob(?) even came by to have a nice chat, and he wasn't even our server. This time we sat in the dining room vs the beer hall and we still loved the ambiance. Love this place and is a must stop for us in FBG!

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place since a girls trip a couple years ago. Husband and I went this past week. Food: The pretzel . I was so excited for the pretzel. SHAPED like a pretzel - 10/10. SALTED like a pretzel - 10/10. Buttery glaze like a pretzel - 10/10. Taste like a pretzel - 1/10. Not dense, not pretzel consistency. More like a dinner roll, shaped like a pretzel. Soft, pillow-y. Not at all what I was expecting. Not like any other pretzel I've ever had. HUGE disappointment. The cheese sauce and horseradish mustard were good though - though weird on the pretzel shaped dinner roll. Chicken Schnitzel was good, but definitely missing something, flavor wise. The Ribeye was cooked to order, but husband wasn't fond of the seasoning used on the steak, or the sweet seasoning on the fries. Service - the service was just plain awful. We were there around 3 in the afternoon. 4 tables with people at them. Multiple waitstaff walking around. Our food was dropped off and our waitress never returned to check in on us. Water glasses were empty. All the way empty. Never refilled our glasses. Didn't even ask. I had to ask for a refill when she dropped off the check, so I could choke down my last few pieces of my chicken. So we had our check. We waited. And waited. And waited. And waited some more. After ALMOST 30 MINUTES, we were done waiting and ready to go. So I walked up to the front and asked a random person to please run our tab. I commented that we must have been forgotten. No apologies, she went behind the bar to run our tab. I tipped way more than I should have, based on the service we received. $100 meal - 0/10. It's on our DNR (do not return) list.

Yelp
This place is awesome! The beer, the food, the service, the venue, etc. all of it is 10/10! Myself and 3 others visited this place on a Sunday afternoon and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There was also someone playing live music inside the venue which was also playing over the speakers outside which was a nice touch. I'd definitely recommend a stop at this place on your trip to fredricksburg!
google avatar

Mike R.

Yelp
While this place is on the list of dog friendly places to visit in Fredericksburg, once you get here you find out that's not actually true. If this is the case, they should be taken off the list, because they're not worth stopping by with the dog. Edit: the answer to my review is a carbon copy cut and paste. I'm not sure how they can "make things right" other than making sure they're removed from the pet friendly list.
google avatar

Tom L.

Yelp
Overall this place was great, the food was excellent and the atmosphere / decor inside reminds you of stepping back into the late 19th century. The service was good overall. If you get sick of the winery's head here... you won't regret it!

Yelp
Having traveled from Ohio and having visited a number of breweries around the country. I was excited to try the Altstadt brewery and super excited as I looked at the beer list to do a flight to be able to taste a number of the ones that interested me however much to my surprise I found the flights were dictated and the pairings were not beers I would have put together so I ended up ordering one of the three choices and found only one beer that I would have maybe drank later it's too bad that they don't allow you the flexibility to choose beers that you'd like to taste I think that's a failure I think they should looked at that thank you.

Laurel S.

Yelp
We popped in here for a late afternoon lunch/early dinner on a Sunday. It wasn't terribly busy because of the timing and our waitress was sweet but I think she was overworked because we didn't see much of her. The place is HUGE and really cute. The food was so good. 3 people ordered the chicken schnitzel and all loved it. My daughter and I shared the fish and chips and a flatbread and both were yummy but honestly we didn't need both so we ended up taking most of the flatbread home. The one disappointing thing was the pretzel. It looked amazing and this is a German restaurant so we had high hopes but oddly it isn't actually a pretzel, just a very light fluffy bread in the shape of a pretzel.

Yelp
Delicious food, great and quick service, nice vibe. Architectural style neat as well.
google avatar

Lauren ..

Yelp
Despite it not being very busy, it took a little while for us to get seated and to get our drinks and food. However, our waitress was very sweet and accommodating! I never drink beer but I really enjoy the peach one, it's very light and slightly sweet. I had the chicken schnitzel and it was so crispy and delicious, the potatoes were so buttery and lemony. The jägerschnitzel was also very tasty, but I prefer chicken over beef. Our appetizer (flammkuchen) was good, but I'd probably get a different one next time as this one was mostly just bread and cheese.

Yelp
Great food and beer ! Live music in the main hall where you can sit outside on the patio
google avatar

Angel M.

Yelp
We've always enjoyed the food and the ambiance at Altstadt but the service has changed for the worst. The use of the forced digital ordering really made the service impersonal. There was no one to tell us about the specials or other pertinent details on what's included with certain menu items. Luckily I saw someone get the soup special before I ordered an additional pretzel. It took a bit for us to get our initial order completed and then they still brought out our appetizer with our main meal. Oh and we are technology savvy but it doesn't need to be everywhere!!
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere! Cool German style castle brewery! Lots of different rooms to hang out in, we enjoyed music (live band) in the beerhall! They also had great views on their back patio! Staff was all friendly, and attentive. We ordered a beer flight and a Frozen limoncelo! The limoncelo was delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
If you are a fan of their beer, or good German ambience, you must visit here! Outside dining is nice, the but restaurant is superb! I love the food and decorations. One of my faves in this area!
google avatar

Yelp
All the food is simply amazing. Gastropub originality! We sampled the French onion soup, peach salad, crab cakes, beef & Brie, as well as the pimento cheese. All above expectations. Would definitely go again!

Yelp
Ordered a handful of things off the menu and all were good. We sat in the grand hall where you order from QR code and the process was easy and service was prompt.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped by Altstadt Brewery when we were in the area earlier this month after seeing it when we were driving from Austin to Fredericksburg. The building is a stunner, and we both wanted to stop and try some of their beers. Unfortunately, our experience left a lot to be desired. Maybe we should try again at a different season? First of all, the building looks huge and old from the outside. It's not as old as it looks (it's only a few years old), and the space was laid out so strangely that it felt much smaller than it looked, as well. When we walked in, we were greeted by two staff members (very friendly). When we said we were just here to try some beers, they pointed behind them toward the tap room. The tap room was tiny (so much smaller than I would have guessed from the size of the building from the outside)! There were lots of small tables (mostly hightops), but none of the large wooden tables I was expecting for a German-inspired beer hall. And the bar was tiny, too! Small in size and with only two bartenders working. You can order by QR code on the table, which made it impersonal in my opinion (but they do text you when your order is up so you can walk to the bar to get it). And this tiny space was so packed that we had to stalk people getting up to get a table, which meant we got a very dirty table (which was never cleared while we sat there; in fact, I never saw anyone busing tables at all). We gave it a try anyway and had a flight with several of their beers. They were fine to good (nothing made up for experience we were having otherwise). There are apparently other spaces in the brewery (there had to be - the building is so large from the outside), but our experience in the taproom wasn't one I'd want to repeat. There's a restaurant (I believe that was to the right when we came in), and I know that there's a large biergarten in the back. It was drizzling and gray and quite cold, since our visit was in January, so we couldn't enjoy the outdoors, which may have been why the taproom was such a mess and so crowded. (I hope there's another bar when the outside is open though, because the tiny bar and two bartenders could barely keep up with the taproom orders). Overall, I can't say that I enjoyed my first experience at Altstadt. I appreciate that they're making local beer in German styles since it's just on the outskirts of Fredericksburg, and maybe if I came back in summer when the biergarten is open, I'd have a different experience. But based on our winter visit, I can't recommend that anyone go out of their way to visit.

Janel S.

Yelp
We came for the food and band, but it was a bit loud in the hall with the acoustic drums so we ventured outside to the covered patio because the weather was perfect. Plus, the a/c was a little cool for my preferences. I had the peach sangria and he had a light beer. Both were tasty. Our server was fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. Since we came on Sunday during brunch I had to order the brioche French toast despite the sugar content. My order was surprisingly appropriately sized with three pieces of French toast on a small platter. He ordered the Ruben and is currently trying to make a dent the second half since we can't take it with us. BEWARE: This sandwich is meant for two people with plenty of homemade chips to share. The chips are the thinnest kettle chips with the right amount of seasoning. It was hard to stop eating them. We'll be back for sure.

Yelp
Upscale Brewery with tours and a restaurant. I had the Rueben which was fabulous. The service is Top Drawer and our order came quickly. This is great place to stop for lunch. Styled with German architecture, Altstadt Brewery is a definite tourist treat. Able to handle large parties or Group Tours, lots of Merch, live music, there's something for the whole family. As always, eat and enjoy in Good Health.
google avatar

Carrie M.

Yelp
This brewery looks like a mansion from the outside, and we sat in the grand hall where they were really trying to replicate Hofbräuhaus vibes. Their prices were shockingly expensive for what the items were, and they had a small selection. Expect to spend at least $20-30 on an entree. The salads with chicken were $18, and my friends said they weren't very good. I settled on the Altstadt burger, which just tasted like a regular burger. The fries were good. I tried some of my friends' beers, and they seemed solid. Service was okay. There is self-serve water from a jug, and the water tasted so heavily of chemicals.

Yelp
Wednesday. March 22, 2023. Afternoon. My wife and I had purchased some six packs of Altstadt beer at the Walmart. This was on the way to our Airbnb in San Antonio. We bought the Kolsch, Pilsner, Hefeweizen and Amber. All these beers were true to style and tasted like crisp German beer. Superior beer. My favorite, by far, was the super light Kolsch. My wife enjoyed the Amber best. We liked these beers so much, that we convinced the rest of the family to visit the brewery in nearby Fredericksburg. Note: the brewery is closed Monday and Tuesday. Unfortunately, we came on the wrong day for the free brewhouse tour. They were on Thursday and Friday, at 4 pm. They are limited to only 20 guests and are first come, first served. We toured the massive Great Hall instead, which sat empty. They have a bar inside and lovely paintings on the walls. They also have a stage for music. The Grand Hall has live music on Saturdays and Sundays. I would highly recommend visiting here on a Wednesday or Thursday, between 3 and 6 pm for happy hour. Happy hour features $3 draft pints, $5 house wine and $7 appetizers and growler fills. We ordered a custom flight of four beers for $12. This included Thiolized Kolsch 4.8%, Quinlan's Irish Red 4.7%, German Session IPA 5%, and Lager 4.8%. I much preferred their regular Kolsch, the Lager tasted out of this world good, and the Irish Red turned out to be my favorite of the flight. So, I ordered a pint for $6. This was the best beer we've had at any brewery outside of New Mexico. We didn't order any food here since we visited between lunch and dinner. We visited the nearby free tractor museum, with a bunch of vintage, restored tractors. They sell cigars, wine, beer, pretzels, and t-shirts. I did end up buying a t-shirt in the gift shop of the brewery where they have a larger selection. Probably the best day to visit this brewery would be Thursday. That way you could enjoy the happy hour prices and get a free tour of the brewhouse. I really wish they had these beers available in New Mexico but alas they do not. Luckily, I bought a couple of sixers at the brewery to enjoy at home.

Yelp
Walked in for the restaurant on a Saturday for lunch. Told it would be about 15 minutes. Looking around we could see about 4 tables still needing to be bussed, but it wasn't busy. One guy bussing and he was very slow at it. He'd take a few things off one and then another and then go back to the first and grab more things. It just seemed rather inefficient. Food wise we got the pretzel because it was huge. Unfortunately it wasn't really a pretzel but fancy dough. Seriously just tasted like a roll not the actual pretzel taste. The Rueben was on point though. Lots of corned beef and a good balance of sauerkraut and sauce. Our server was not attentive. Overall NOT impressed. I suppose if you're a big beer drinker, the variety and flights are good, but nothing convinced me to go back again.

Yelp
Food amazing! Great service! Really good beer! We had the Reuben sandwich, fish and chips, and the sausage plate. We did 2 flights of the beer. We loved everything! The only comment we have is about the fish. It was a bit bready for our liking but that's a personal preference. Really nice sitting on the porch on a beautiful spring day.

Yelp
Overall nice lunch experience while visiting the Hill Country. Stopped in with friends for a late lunch after visiting LBJ Ranch. Food: generous lunch portions, quality meal. The Reuben with beer soup provided a hearty and tasty lunch. The portions are large enough to share. Beer: Quality beer Ambiance: very Germanic, vaguely reminiscent of a beer hall with Service: Spotty service, our waiter disappeared for a while

Yelp
Atmosphere and grounds are nice. Great beer and friendly service. The pretzel was yummy and the frozen lemoncello hit the spot.

Yelp
Such a fun atmosphere!!! Super delightful and attentive staff. We came here on a whim last minute on a Saturday during a chilly day and were able to comfortably find seating in the downstairs bar while waiting for a table in the restaurant. There was soft live music and it was a super lively space. I could've stayed down there for hours. The massive beers are a must - so fun and refreshing. I was honeslty very surprised with the food in the restaurant. We ordered the Chicken Schnitzel (to die for - we were scrapping the plate) and shared the large Charcuterie Board. Everything was extremely fresh and didn't taste too heavy for German. I will 100% be back and excited to bring members from out of town. I hope to go on a tour next time! This is a huge operation and definitely not a hole in the wall spot.
