I was honored to be invited to this club for a private event. The staff was amazing, so amazing that you never had to ask twice about where to go and they were always available. The highlight was the open air cigar lounge where an artisan was rolling cigars where you could grab one and enjoy it on the outside deck. While it was a chilly January night, the heaters worked well to keep you warm. Food was good, we only had one choice which was Tacos they were tasteful and filling. Overall a great experience, however this is a private club and not open to the public. I would definitely consider it for a private event.

Wow! I went on a Thursday night, which was slow and great for non-members. The staff (ZOE) was fantastic, and the drinks were great. Very relaxed atmosphere and met.so cool people. Soon, they'll have a bar on the first level. Bring your own cigars. It's definitely worth a visit.

If you come here highly recommend the bartender Alex who was a gem, the rooftop views with an espresso martini and hamachi agua chile appetizer. Kale salad was also excellent.

Last night was a good experience. The cocktails were great and the food was good. I ordered the wedge salad with the billionaire bacon to start, then the scallops for the entree.

Sexy, swanky and sophisticated ...this is private upscale man cave! Adorned with smoking jackets and neck ties. As soon as I got off the elevator I was greeted by a gentlemen that checked me in. You have to be invited by a member to enter. There's a main bar surrounded by cozy couches in an intimate setting. I immediately had my favorite glass of Pinot and billionaire bacon. Thick chunks of bacon cooked to perfection. To die for! I followed up with the cheese connoisseur for a lovely plate of figs, salami and assorted cheeses. They also serve dinner after 6pm. I took a quick tour of the designer rooms they had for parties or meetings. Each one had a different theme. My two favorite, the velvet room and the wine cellar. Both excellent for a celebration! I didn't feel a creepy or pretentious vibe once so ever. Everyone was down to earth and friendly. There seemed to be quite of few business meetings happening. Their memberships are reasonable and for people out of the area that visit on occasion it's even better. I left saying, "why don't we have this for women!" Hmmm... Take a tour!

Great private club with awesome top floor event space and view of downtown. Fun cigar room, large outdoor patio and a few "secret" rooms to explore also. Highly recommend for private events!

I was invited to the Snark Attack - Money is Funny / GenAI Tech Pitch Roast Comedy Show at Amador Club (formerly Wingtip) and I was impressed with the Amador club's friendly staff and warm atmosphere. From the moment we stepped into the club, the energy was palpable. The ambiance of Amador Club enhanced the overall experience, making it an ideal venue for such an event. Some of the personal menu highlights were shrimp Po Boy sliders deviled eggs and waffle fries. A unique offerings for men specifically would be the cigar pairing with Karl or Westward whiskey tasting. For this particular event, tech founders presented their pitches, but instead of the usual applause, they were met with witty roasts from a panel of stand-up comedians, venture capitalists, and advisors. This comedic element not only lightened the mood but also provided valuable feedback in a format that is both humorous and constructive. The event itself has garnered attention, being featured in notable publications like Forbes and the Washington Post, which speaks volumes about its impact on the tech community. The buzz surrounding "Snark Attack" is well-deserved, as it both entertains and fosters a sense of camaraderie among tech enthusiasts.

One of the most unique member's only club in the heart of San Francisco. They have a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the Transamerica building. The team is very welcoming and friendly. We attended Summer Bond recently and it was a hit. Food and cocktails top notch

Clarified Milk punch review Drake was very gracious at wingtips. Bar and social club are beautiful. Just got a smws membership and tried their stock. But onto the milk punch! Silent jealousy: akashi white oak whisky, matcha, rose petal, orange blossom, lemon Smooth and delicious. Great offering to the milk punch scene. Here ya go Drake! I didn't leave you out! Had an amazing time here! Held a group dinner and everyone loved the atmosphere. The views of the city was great and it was very private as well. I wanted to give a shoutout to James for being amazing in serving and accommodating our needs. Definitely coming back! Only docking a star cause our drinks took a little longer and there were only four people at the bar.

This amazing private club is located on Montgomery Street across the street from the Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco. This is a social club, not a "men's club," and since the beginning has welcomed women, who represent a significant percentage of the lively, engaged, friendly, stylish, and highly diverse membership. Wingtip is not an old-school, exclusive, stuffy place, but an approachable, accessible, warm and welcoming place. I have been a member for many years and love the beautiful and spacious main floor bar, whisky corner seating area, restaurant, parlor rooms, upstairs bar and outdoor deck, wine cave, and the continuously changing calendar of really enjoyable small and large, casual and formal events. What makes this place so special though are the people. The Wingtip team includes the best chefs and mixologists in the city, incredible staff and wonderful members. There is a positive energy that permeates Wingtip, and makes it the perfect place to relax with friends and enjoy great conversation, great food, great drinks and great times.

Ready for dinner during our first visit to the legendary Wingtip Club. Warmly greeted by Sunie - she is a wonderful, front-of-the-house, representative. Upon moving to the lounge, we were immediately served by our attentive bartender. It was Friday around 5:00, and the crowd was lively, but not out-of-hand. At 6:00 we adjourned to our table for dinner. Chris was our server, and he did not disappoint. We started with the billionaire bacon - lemme hear you say, "pork belly in the house!" Next we shared a burger and clam chowder. The chowder had a different, very good, taste. The burger was on point. We also ordered the catch of the day - and took that home for tonight's dinner. Overall a wonderful time. One opportunity for improvement - we need to tighten-up on our dress code. So many bad things happen when we allow the great unwashed to enter. We had the bad luck of sitting on the rooftop near the boys in the attached picture while they behaved like middle-schoolers who just learned of the "f" word. Boo.

One of my friends recently became a Wingtip member and invited a couple of us to be his guests on Thursday, January 12th around 6pm. The club encompasses two floors with check in and entry on the 10th floor. I believe he made a reservation as he wanted to guarantee a table for our party of 3 in the main lounge. The space itself is beautiful. Dark wood, comfy couches and chairs. The main bar is a pretty good size and the lounge itself is lined with shelves and bottles of liquor. They have a huge selection of everything type of alcohol you can think of. Especially whiskey. Being a whiskey girl, I really only explored that section of the menu. Service is excellent! I was a little overwhelmed by the extensive selection, so our server suggested I try the Springbank 18 Year. Menus are presented on a tablet for easy viewing. They also serve food, but we didn't try any. The main bar and lounge is only one section of the club. They also have a Game Room, Wine Cave, Roof Deck, Private Parlor Rooms, etc. On a nice day, it'd be great to sit outside and enjoy some drinks and snacks. I believe there are three different levels of membership depending on how often you plan on frequenting the club. From my understanding, all memberships come with a 10% discount at their store downstairs. Everything in the club is cashless, so all orders end up going on your member number. They have private events every now and then which sound like a lot of fun. Great place to just get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. And their whiskey selection? I'm in awe!

I'm lucky enough to have a good friend who's a member, so I haven't had to join yet haha I love this place. every one of the staff is amazing. the bartenders really know their stuff and love to make suggestions. the wine and whisky (actually, all spirits) selection is fantastic. food is great too there always seems to be some kind of special event. last week there was an Irish Whisky tasting for St. Paddy's day which was over-the-top good. I've been there for bourbon, cognac and cheese tastings too there are indoor cigar-smoking rooms too, which is great, especially in SF and private cigar lockers (no smoking in the other common areas like bar and dining rooms) there are larger rooms available for events and private dining and an outdoor patio (cigar-friendly) I guess eventually I will join, but for now, really enjoying my friend's membership!!!

I love Wingtip! I was not a member but my friend was and I got to a few times. The clothing store on the ground floor is great and I love the tailor in the basement...check out the safe. The best part is the club upstairs. Very classy...has an old school feel to it. The food and drinks are great. The bartenders are very engaging. Great selection of beer. I love the little touches like the suit cloth leftovers as the coasters.

Service was slow and food was ok. Drinks took over thirty minutes. Thirty minutes only because it was called to their attention.

My review is for the bar upstairs. The space is so masculine and sleek. Very friendly employees guiding you through the area upstairs. Aaron the Sommelier was not only of course knowledgeable but has a very funny enchanting personality. James the bartender whipped up a chocolate martini special for me and it was delicious!! Chill space great ambiance and great employees.

Just a superlative experience. My wingmen and I were treated to experience the club on the 10th and 11th floors of this iconic building. Very unassuming and un-stuffy environment where we could relax, find a secluded corner to enjoy conversation and drinks, then escape to the billiards table or cigar lounge without a care in the world. Obvious attention to detail with the decor and the place has an established yet modern atmosphere with expected and unexpected refinements. Service was unobtrusive and polished, making us non-members feel fully vested if only for a few hours. I can't speak to the cuisine but Pam at the front desk holds court and Peter behind the bar creating exceptional cocktails. It's not often that my watch leaves my wrist but today, the time seemed to go slowly and that's just fine by me.

The first time I was in the building, it was for a meeting at one of the offices upstairs. I thought it seemed a bit of an odd place for a dude's clothing store. It is now a few years later. I no longer think it's odd. It's where man-happiness lives. Cigars, smoking jackets, delicious man-drinks, sabering champagne bottles, and a super chill environment that leaves a man in such a happy state that he says all sorts of wonderfully romantic things to his lady, thus making her swoon. If this is what man-happiness is, I am all for it.

Amazing old style club feel with superb bar stocked with the finest alcohol. Very engaged and welcoming proprietor (Ami). Great Sommelier (Aaron) and strong wine list. Pretty good food, ours served in an private room for a small business dinner. Probably the best place to have a cigar in San Francisco.

Just ordered the Smash burger and Billionaire's Bacon off of Caviar and it was PHENOMENAL. 10/10 SLAMMIN.

This is a private social club where membership is needed to grant access or you have to know a member to get in. I didn't even know this place existed. It has beautiful views of the Transamerica Building. Great food and variety of drink. We tried the buccatini, brussel sprouts and burrata with honey and everything was amazing. And the whiskey (can't go back to Jameson!). Service is impeccable. Excellent and personable staff. This place would be great for wining and dining clients. The space is gorgeous. An upscale gentleman's refuge in the financial district with pool tables, golf simulator, poker tables, board room, dining hall, 360 bar, and complete with ready to loan designer watches, pocket squares and ties. Amazing.

The. COOLEST. Place. In. SF. Just had a very extensive tour by Phil - amazing guy, attentive, patient, answered all of our questions, took his time with us, and we are completely sprung on this place. Ami the owner is a genius for putting this place together. His taste in design, modern luxuries, and service make this place by far the coolest club I've ever been too. Literally it's a playground for grown gentleman! Also, the store on the first floor is great - very reasonable prices and a fantastic one-stop shop for any gentleman. A true SF Gem! I'd love to go into details about this place, but it would be a disservice because words cannot explain the coolness of experiencing this place first hand.

What an awesome place to have hosted our holiday party event!!! Wingtip is located at one of SF's historical landmarks off of Montgomery Street on the 10th and 11th floors. As it used to be a banking center, many of the offices have been transformed with their own theme to lounge around, play games, drink, and smoke cigars. They offer some of the finest whiskey and scotch spirits, along their cigar collection, which you can smoke indoor or outdoor using a complimentary robe to protect your clothes. The club is very large with more than one dozen separate rooms to choose to hang out in. Now for the food - as we were hosting a private party, we were able to select our menu with the lamb, salmon, fried chicken and their sides and salads. All of the food was phenomenal, everyone seemed pleased with the cuisine. The cheese platters were excellent and we had our own private bar. This was definitely an experience of a lifetime. Btw, this place is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC for private events. There are several different rooms to choose from varying on your guest count, so definitely something to look into. The club itself is private and is only open to exclusive members.

This is a review of Catherine in the men's clothing shop, who helped me with a suit. I don't really enjoy shopping, particularly for clothes. However, I do think a good suit is a pretty important investment. I was playing an important part in a good friend's wedding and I knew I wanted to show up looking my best. So I did some asking around and some comparison shopping and I ended up at Wingtip. I'm very happy that I did. Walking in, all I knew was that I wanted something that went with a pair of nice shoes I already owned, that I needed it in a relatively short period of time, and my budget. Nothing else. Catherine was there to guide me through the whole process. She had helpful opinions on what she thought would look good on me. I never felt rushed or pressured. She was always patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. When I returned for my second appointment to try the suit on she had several options for tie/socks/etc prepared to make those choices very easy. And ultimately she made sure that I looked my best. I think nearly every single person I spoke with at the wedding complimented me on that suit.

Ohmygosh - what an incredible venue! If I still lived in San Francisco I would join up on Day 1! Great service and ambiance and the candied bacon appetizer is to die for.

Ehhh. The store is nice, but the club? Not so cool. Actually, let me stop myself...I LOVE the old-San Francisco vibe of the entire WingTip space, both the downstairs store and the upstairs privado club. And who wouldn't? Housed in an old Italian bank, the setting is beautifully vintage. The merchandise inside the store? On point. Classy, vintage (and new) classics, from clothing to lifestyle pieces. What I really don't care for is the private club. I will admit that the space is actually much more old-time beautiful than The Battery. Very masculine, very "gentleman's club", and a little more sophisticated-chic. And those views? Stunning! If I had to go with design, I'd be at Wingtip all day, every day. But there's just no cache to this place. Honestly, you feel like you're in a spot that just isn't cool, and dare I say, corny. Not to mention that some of those private "conference" rooms seem a little suspect, like they could be used for some other extracurricular activities, if you know what I mean. My experience with the membership people (won't name names, but two men) felt very used-car-salesman-ish. The "we-think-we're-classy-but-we're-actually-kinda-trasy" vibe doesn't fool me. It's like they're stuck in the Wingtip bubble thinking that this is the place to be, when in fact, um...I hate to say it, but all the cool people probably want to be at The Battery. Net-net, I wouldn't even think of purchasing a membership to this place. Just seems a little too corn-ball and needs some cache.

I was in here this afternoon and received ZERO service, even after browsing for 10 minutes. Just because I walk in a jacket, jeans and a tshirt doesn't mean I can't afford the $500 messenger bag I was looking at. Too bad that the staff totally ignored me like I was homeless (I hate to sound like a DB but the total dollar amount of my clothes + shades that I was wearing = $900). I was really looking forward to buying some items since I heard good things about this place, but now they get NONE OF MY MONEY. What a disgraceful operation. FAIL!!! BTW--It takes a lot to get a 1 star from me, so this place is certainly worthy of that pathetic designation. Congrats Wingtip!

Firstly, I'm just reviewing their storefront as this Yelp listing is for a 'Department Store', not a club or restaurant. The location of the store is beautiful. The old bank, the barber in the vault - it's all lovely and definitely worth peeking inside. The products are interesting and there's quite a variety (fishing gear to whiskey to clothing to shaving supplies to cigars). All that being said, the place is a slight disaster - all the products are strewn about the otherwise beautiful space, with seemingly little attempt at organization. The absolute worst part about it all is their customer service. I have walked into the space several times, staring blankly at their doorman? cashiers? and they would NOT EVEN MAKE EYE CONTACT with me. I literally stood there for several minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge my presence. I'd considered getting some whiskey for myself (yes, I'm a woman, but I don't have everything), or some fishing gear or a wallet for my male relatives/friends. Alas, now that I know they don't want my business, I won't be going back except to check out the pretty, pretty space. "For the man who has everything..." except common courtesy. "Solutions for the modern..." asshole. "We welcome the 1, 30X, 41..." to be ignored when entering our store.

Store + Private Social Club Professional Atmosphere With your membership you get a monthly store credit, which accrues over time. Essentially, your membership is prepayment for merchandise. Love this model. A friend of mine has been working here for a while and gave me a tour of the facility. The details of the space are beautiful, love each theme in every room. Chess boards, meeting rooms, private event spaces, and quality cocktails + snacks at the bar. Will definitely be back again when I am in town. Very different than the other social club (which seems to be more tech oriented) down the street. Met a couple of nice people when I was here who were friendly but not intrusive. If you're looking for a "meet" market, you may want to try a different spot. I loved it here! I was looking forward to shopping here on my recent visit to San Francisco. I arrived just before opening hours and when no one unlocked the door I peeked inside, and a rather disinterested looking employee finally got around to opening up. No good morning, welcome to Wingtips, or can I help you. He went back to his counter and buried his nose in some paperwork. I spent 10 minutes browsing and NO ONE asked if I needed help. I left, found other clothiers in the area and spent about $3,000. I won't be returning to Wingtips on my next trip to San Francisco, but I doubt they'll still be in business.

Was so glad to hear we could still order from WingTip during the Shelter. Ordered the Smash burger for delivery - service was quick and food was warm and yummy when it got to me. Thank you WingTip!

if you are searching for a high class Barber (not a "stylist") you need to stop in and meet Joe Roberts. The Wingtip team wisely stole Joe from the Art of Shaving team and set him up right in the store. Joe knows his stuff - hands down. He specializes in straight razor shaves, professional cuts and of course, supreme customer service. Call the store and get on his calendar. You will become a regular - I am certain.

This is a social club done right. The environment is welcoming and comfortable. The team (Ami, Brad, et al) are professionals and genuinely interested in getting to know (and introducing) the members. While it is members only, the club doesn't retain any of the stuffiness of other organizations. Maybe in 100 years it will but, for now, it's blissfully devoid of d-baggery. The fingerprint scanner at the front door is a particularly nice touch.

Great place to be. If you are looking for buying cigars or anything from the shops downstairs. Ask for Rodrick, he was super knowledgeable and easy to work with. Great selection in whiskey as well. Highly recommended.

A regular looking shop on the ground level and an exclusive private club on the 9th level! Lucky me! My friend is a member here and I get to go every so often. Wide selection of whiskeys A separate cigar room 2 levels so that there's enough room for everyone They also host special events such as "Learn about Scotch" which I attended and absolutely loved. Eaten here a couple of times, not a big fan but I don't go here for the food anyway :)

Very cool store. Lots to see, I may go back to look some more. I bought a jacket, it is a pricey store with many unique items ranging from clothes, cigars, cigar cutters, bar set up. If you are out and about walking then stop in and look around it is worth the time.

Wow, this place is so fun to visit (I'm glad they don't charge admission). If you like Mad Men, you will love this place -- it's like falling into Don Draper's wardrobe department. The setting is a beautiful 1920's bank with the amazingly intricate vault intact, and stock certificates and money-equipment from the pre-Depression era prominently on display as you peruse fine clothing from $1,200 silk bathrobes to corkscrews and shoehorns made from the wood of major league baseball bats used in famous games throughout history. In every room of the bank sits a different department loaded with well-dressed handsome employees who jump out and try to start measuring you despite your protests. You'll have fun walking around this living breathing J. Peterman Catalogue. You can even play chess with oversized chess pieces in the shape of famous SF landmarks (the TransAmerica Tower as Queen, etc.) all carved out of wood, and most probably from a famous baseball game's bat.

I am a member at the Battery and the Olympic Club. Not a member here, but honestly, I am going to quit the Battery and join this place because the Battery is so, so techie and horrible in every way. Yeah, Wingtip is not "exclusive" at all, and the tie in with the commercial shop is kind of cheesy. I was totally skeptical when I first went with a friend. But let's be honest, if you're viewing this club as a way to gain social status you are sorely misguided and are too basic to really know what's up anyway. That said, for a misanthrope like me, it's great. It is a very cool space on top of a building downtown that has: 1) a non-crowded bar. 2) a cigar room. 3) a ROOF DECK. 4) a restaurant and whatnot. 5) an indoor golf driving tee. that is awesome. Call me old school, but I like a place where you can just hang and relax rather than constantly be scanning the place for who's who, surrounded by techie try-hards. And when you work downtown, the O club is just too far away. This is a great place downtown to have a drink in peace and quiet, and literally nobody will talk about their crappy startups.

I love this place. High quality products and xcellent service, but not pushy. This is not a chain men's store where a salesperson is going to pounce on you when you walk in. And when you do want service, they take as much time as you want, no matter what you want to spend. I have been to Wingtip three times and I will be back. Bruce is the best.

Cool spot. You get in through the mens clothing store on ground floor. Classy stuff for guys looking for quality good. No clue on prices there because I was there for a after work cocktail. Long day required a cool alcoholic beverage to make the stress go away, not shopping. Take the elevator to the 10th where there is a hostess making sure you are on a guest list or a member, at least I think she does that. I don't know that anyone can walk into this place without it. There are some mixologist there preparing some fancy beverages with a story behind it. "This drink was popular in 1950's with the Polish immigrants yada yada yada" Drinks were tasty but not any better than other places I've been such as Rye. I ordered my go-to extra Dirty Martini as a fall back when I got tired of the over flavored fancy ones. I was disappointed with the size of the glass. It came in some rinky-dink size martini glass and with some pea sized olives. I hate when I don't get the big ones (thats what she said!) Dirty Martini was just ok. Service was good, and no complaints there. Definitely worth a try.

Private club is cool. Felt very boys club to me, as a woman visiting with a member. But they had a great cheese selection that I enjoyed! LOVED IT.

I would give it a zero, but it is impossible. Their customer service is some of the worst we have seen in our lives (that is, it is next to impossible to get anyone at the store to help us). Friend has a membership here and was considering joining but opted not to - one of the more expensive club memberships in the city for a space and concept that seems a bit outdated. Member events are a rotation of the same concepts and menus, and even though a ticket purchase is required, third party sponsors are usually present pushing products.

Private club. Probably not the one for me. Not particularly impressive - view isn't very good, alcohol collection was underwhelming, and food was average. Friendly staff, though.

I have to agree this is not all that. I was in there early morning Saturday and the three standing at the counter doodling with their phones wasn't interested in helping me with a shirt and a belt. So I left and went back to Saks men's. You lost! I like to shop at least say hi.

The way brad has chosen to handle the issues I have addressed previously; is above and beyond what I was hoping for. I'm excited to give this place a second shot and maybe become a member. This place really intrigues me, I'm looking forward to returning in the future. Thank you

The most amazing men's store on planet earth! Once you have a few bucks and you stop looking at price tags... hop on your net jet and spend an hour! Make sure you bring help to carry out your unique finds!
