Miami’s New Restaurant Openings

"Amand is from the same team behind Ikigai, but in no way similar. Aside from the fact that it’s also located in Brickell Key, it’s a healthstaurant making açai bowls, sandwiches, and Pura Vida-adjacent smoothies." - mariana trabanino

wow… what a gem! First of all — the staff is unbelievably kind. The kind of energy that instantly puts you at ease and makes you want to stay longer. Their smoothies and fresh juices and coffees, matcha are amazing — super flavorful and refreshing. The drink menu alone is reason to come back. And whether you’re stopping in for breakfast or lunch, the menu has a great variety — thoughtful and tasty. The space itself is beautiful — classy, elegant, and totally aesthetically pleasing. Whether you’re meeting a friend or sitting down to get some work done, it’s the perfect spot. Bright, calm, and thoughtfully designed like a modern bistro, but still cozy and welcoming.

I stopped by Amand in Brickell Key for a quick work session and had an iced latte and it was really good! I didn’t try the food this time, but the menu looked super broad and interesting. The space itself is beautiful. I’ll definitely be coming back to try their food soon!

After my friend and I finished our delightful time at Amand, we both left thinking the same thing…”this is one of the best cafes we’ve ever been to!” Starting with the very lovely customer service from the minute we entered to the delectable, aesthetically plated food and hands down one of the top iced matcha lattes we’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking at a café, my friend and I truly couldn’t have had a better experience! We always love trying cafés around the city, and after just one time, Amand instantly became a new favorite of ours! My friend especially found astonishing the selection of Mexican dishes they offer as she is a big lover of that cuisine! I, on the other hand, was completely enamored with the wide variety of pastries! So thankful for the time my friend and I shared surrounded by great ambience, kind employees, and wonderful food!

Best chilaquiles verdes ever! I love this restaurant and as a resident of Brickell Key it's been life-changing, feels like Europe. Just wish they were open for dinner.

AMAND is a beautiful new cafe in Brickell Key with an inviting atmosphere and fresh, tasty food. The first time I went to AMAND they were actually generously hosting a community event, offering pastries and fresh juices after a local “Wellness Walk Wednesday” event. We tried their pistachio and chocolate croissants, which were very tasty. We noticed on the menu that they had chilaquiles for breakfast so decided we’d need to come back and check it out since that’s one of our favorite breakfast dishes. The owner even suggested they have the best chilaquiles in Miami. We came back for breakfast on a weekend and it was a lovely atmosphere with a good, local crowd. Dale provided excellent service, answering any questions about the menu and making suggestions when I was undecided between two dishes. He even brought a coupon different hot sauces to try since I mentioned we liked spicy food. My husband and I both had a green juice, which was fresh and flavorful. I had the egg bagel, which was served warm but still with a crispy bagel and the portion was decent so I took half home. My husband had the chilaquiles with chicken and they were definitely worth coming for, so flavorful. Definitely recommend AMAND for a tasty brunch or fresh pick-me-up. Great addition in the neighborhood.

I frequently order from here and today my experience wasn’t pleasant. The ham & cheese croissant wasn’t a croissant, the bread was old and hard, the fideos secos were not as good as usual either. I’m disappointed of the customer service and the food.

Great cafe with some really nice options, had omelette on one visit, and pistachio Cronut, both delicious! On another visit had the French dip roast beef sandwich, also delicious!

I finally got to check out Amand today for my birthday. I’ll give it another shot next time because everyone was so friendly, but we got chilaquiles, enchiladas, two immunity shots, and two coffees to go. The food took 40 mins to come out, by which point the coffees we received were watery. And then I get home and my chilaquiles didn’t have any protein on them (I paid $5 extra for chicken). Hoping they had an off day but was sad to open my food and not have received what I paid for!
