someone please give the chef and team a Michelin star! Every dish we had was extremely unique and the perfect flavor combinations. We enjoyed how the chef builds your tasting menu with you and customizes based on your taste. The octopus and the scallops were probably some of the best bites I’ve ever had. My husband absolutely loved the truffle pasta. The tiramisu for dessert was a perfect ending to a great meal. Plus a few extra treats from the kitchen! I wish we had more time in Cagliari to go back and try the rest of the menu!

Dare I say it was one of the best meals I've ever had? I am not sure if it was a blessing or a curse that we had our first dinner in Cagliari here because we knew there was a slim chance we'd get a similar experience anywhere else in the city. We had the 7-course set menu with wine pairing. All the dishes were creative while being very balanced. The potato foam upstaged the octopus. Kiwi gazpacho was very unique, the gyoza sauce was amazing, and the fish was perfectly cooked. The service was great and contrary to some other reviews, we had no issues with the music. I'll definitely return to Cagliari just to dine at this restaurant.

Writing this review almost a year later, I can confidently say we’ve tried nearly all the fine dining restaurants around Cagliari. And Amano definitely ranks in my top three for returning, especially when hosting guests. The chef’s use of local ingredients paired with excellent wines truly stands out. My partner even ended up buying some wines from the wineries we discovered here. As a wine lover, his only minor disappointment was the absence of a dessert wine to accompany the dessert. Speaking of dessert, the tiramisu was one of my favorites ever, both delicious and beautifully presented. Every plate was thoughtfully arranged, and the service was kind throughout. The gentleman serving the wines could have shown a bit more passion for his role, but overall, it was a fantastic experience.

The first night was so good, that we returned for a second time in the week we were in Calgiari. The chef owner is a genius with flavors and presentation. Some of the very best food I have eaten was in many years. The best and it deserves a star and more.

They absolutely deserve a star. From service to food quality and presentation. We had the five course menu and the truffle pasta as well. Chef created our menu selection together with us so we had a choice in what we got. Take the truffle dish, you won‘t regret it. I have tried pasta and truffles at a lot of places, this has been the best I ever had.

This was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever been to. From the service to the food, there was nothing to fault. We did a 7 course tasting menu with matching wines and everything was perfect. The amount of time, effort and thought that goes into every dish is noticeable. The chef also assists you with putting together your tasting menu which is incredible to ensure everything is suited to your taste. Highly recommend.

Top notch experience! Creative use of local ingredients, such as green olive granita. Great balance of delicate flavours, umami and acidity. We tried 7 of the dishes, which were all delicious, and from the look of the other dishes, and reactions of the guests, they must have been equally as good. Relaxing atmosphere, and it seemed like the whole team enjoyed themselves throughout the service. Would definitely recommend!

Wow, what an amazing experience! This is certainly one of those restaurants that operates at an elite level. The sensory experience of the food and wine in the intimate surrounds was simply perfect and you know that level is only achieved through exceptionally hard work, dedication and experience. Highly recommend!
