We tried this restaurant around 4:30 not knowing exactly what to expect. We ordered the corn-based tasting menu and each of the 6 dishes were amazing. I was blown away by the quality of the meal. Our waiter's explanation of each dish showed his passion for food and the cultural values it represents. On top of a very special experience they surprised us at the end by letting us each pick the dish we enjoyed the most so that we could enjoy it again for free. I'd like to return and see what the other tasting menu is like!

After almost a week in Mexico City we came to Toluca for a day and this was the best meal of our trip! Lovely inviting space with kind and knowledgeable staff. Our server was able to speak English with us since my Spanish is no good. Chef Pablo Salas came out to greet us and was very kind. Highly recommend a stop here if you find yourself in Toluca! The mushroom tacos are a must try.

Was visiting from Tijuana. I made a reservation directly from their website for 5pm many day in advance. I received an email confirming my reservation. Then at the time of my reservation, they told me they wouldn't accommodate us because it was too close to closing time. They should not advertise or allow 5pm reservations if they cannot accommodate them. Not even a phone call beforehand to reschedule us or inform us. Absolutely terrible customer service. We were really excited to try this restaurant too.

We are from CDMX. We took the cablebus, an uber to the tren inturbano to Central Toluca and walked here. This place is so delicious. We had the breakfast menu with the unlimited mimosas. But we will come back for the dinner menu. Call ahead if you want the carnitas of duck as they are better fresher. Their homemade butter and blackberry jam is super delicious. They need to package that up and sell separately. Best service ever. Thank you for a great eating experience.

Excellent presentation, the service was excellent. All the wine pairings were right on. I highly recommend this chefs dinner. What a great experience for date night.

The best Mexican food of my life!!! Congrats Pablo Salas! I've never liked huazontles before, because of its strong soil-like flavor and consistency, but here in Amaranta, thanks to Pablo and he crew I could enjoyed this vegetable without any complaints, it was really extraordinary!!! I recommend you take the 'Tasting Menu' because it's an extraordinary selection of dishes perfectly combined. But if you prefer taste from the conventional Menu everything is delicious.

My amigo and senorita friend took me here for a dinner during my working trip。 a nice place with good atmosphere. I tried seafood and steak combo and fried cricket, cricket is finger tip size, a bit of salty but crispy taste. combo is great. Friends also ordered dessert which are all very good and sweet. They have valet parking in the front.

We had an exquisite tasting lunch here. The food is top quality and bursting with mouthwatering flavor! It's mexican food but several notches above everyday Mexican food in the best way possible. The service was excellent. The ambiance is relaxed and comfortable while still being just enough upscale. We drove over an hour to eat here and it was well worth it! A foodie must! Can't wait to come back.

Excellent service, great ambiance and el sabor rico! Suggest anything layered with their mole. While the optics are of upper scale, they never hesitated to invite us in wearing our street clothes. Pricing is very reasonable (this being relative as a visitor benefiting from a favorable exchange rate will find the cost desirable while a local may perceive it as expensive). Strongly suggested as a lunch/dinner venue while in Toluca.
