Amaya Coffee Will Open At Downtown’s Forthcoming Finn Hall - Eater Houston

"Amaya Coffee will join Finn Hall in Downtown, serving a menu similar to Catalina Coffee with beans roasted by Amaya Roasting Company. The menu includes freshly roasted coffees, lattes, seasonal coffees, pastries, and house-made syrups. A new menu item, affogato, featuring Fat Cat Creamery’s Amaya ice cream topped with espresso, will be offered. A great place for a proper European Espresso! Rich roast without the blowing acidity that Starbucks is known for. They also serve it properly with a palate cleansing sparkling water as a great accompaniment.

A small coffee shop in an interesting, downtown food court. The coffee there is exceptional, and the chai was good as well. Staff was very knowledgeable. It would be a good place to sit at, or to stop by, as well as enjoy the nearby food offering in the court. I'm very happy with the beans I purchased there, and have made great coffee from the roasters.

This coffee is better than Starbucks. Better taste. The menu is minimal, but I understand for a small coffee stand. The only con about this place is its a cashless establishment, I know some people only like to carry cash. They are literally located in a building where Chase bank is. Whomp

It's a great and delightful, the coffee premium with great service. There's a variety of sitting areas throughout Finn Hall or you can sit at Amaya Coffee bar area. Noted: it is located inside of Finn Hall accompanied by eight restaurants a fully supplied bar. Stop in and enjoy sports on of the many television screens.

Wonderful small coffee shop with lots of seating in the shared space. Small menu of coffee staples and pastry selection. Amaya is a great local roaster, excited to have this lovely addition to downtown.

After being spoiled with good espresso in New Zealand for two years, im picky about coffee but Amaya does a great job. They also have a nice selection of giant muffins and scones are in Finn hall with other eating options. I'd come back for sure!

Great spot for coffee in downtown Houston. Espressos drinks are solid, but Amaya doesn't beat out Prelude around the corner. Still absolutely worth a visit though.

OMG! That was the best caramel latte I've ever had in my 29 years of living. It had a smooth and creamy texture that wasn't overly sweet or bitter like the competitors. This place is definitely worth a visit!
