This place hereeeee 10/10 I do recommend…. Every time I come here which is often Ms Amaz herself eats down on all the flavors. Tell of my favorites is the white German chocolate cake and the summertime favorite THE SHERBET (and I don’t even like sherbet SO U KNOW IT EATSSSS DOWN) I love stopping by supporting!!!! Place was decorated sooo pretty! Staff seemed happy so excited to serve me and was very patient and friendly. Would recommend, this is the place to go to for your sweet craves.

As long as this bakery is open I will never UNBIG my back. I love the variety of flavors and novelty every month! Being served by Vivian (sic) with her warm, welcoming smile, and great personality is the sweetest thing in the shop!

So moist! Perfectly sized! They have sales all the time! The staff was friendly. Street parking only. Definitely would recommend! You can't just try one! Every flavor is a hit!

I had to write a review after tasting these grapes!! I had never heard of this place, but had an add-on promo for my Uber Eats order from them. So I placed an order, 30 minutes before closing might I add, and LOVED THEM!!! They seemed to had just been made, they were so fresh, the drizzles on both grapes were still soft and the flavor was gooood! Anyone that knows me knows I LOVE Taffy grapes so I will try just about any place that sells them… and these were honestly the best ones I’ve had thus far. Definitely coming back Friday! 😅

I like some of the cupcakes and cakes but the cupcakes that have the fake “cookie butter” and caramel doest’t taste good. The cookie butter sauce that’s being used taste gross and generic and is used as the same as the “caramel” drizzle. Cookie butter and caramel is NOT the same. I just wish they use REAL CARAMEL drizzle for the cupcakes that have caramel on them and not the fake cookie butter flavor. It tastes nasty. My caramel sundae cupcake shouldn’t taste the same as the cookie butter flavored cupcake. Just replace the cookie butter sauce with a better one and use real caramel drizzle.

Omg it’s been a long time since I visited a bakery and it was amazing (just like the name). When I say we said Oh My God after every bite, every bite. We spent about $40 but it was well worth it!

I swear instagram is going to have me trying everything in the world. AmazCakes popped up on my timeline one day and I said I got to go. Angelica's Bakery was the only place that I could get a good Yellow Cake with Chocolate Icing out of the places I had tried so far. So I said AmazCakes has one let me go ahead. I stopped by one day on my lunch and it wasn't to busy but parking can be a lot. When I walked in it was set up nicely and I was greeted. I was a little sad because I didn't see it in the display case. So I asked for and the lady handed it to me and I paid. I got a Yellow Cake with Chocolate Icing and when I tell you the portion size was huge but the cake was moist with the right amount of Chocolate. I even let my friend try it and she enjoyed it as well Pricing was okay for the size of sliced cake you get and the customer service was great. I have been back a few times. Also I signed up for their rewards program which they share their cake specials.

The caramel cake was so good, I came back the next day to get my granny a slice because she loves caramel cake. It might be the best that I've ever tasted, and it's very moist. I got the room temperature one. My kiddo loved the caramel cheesecake. We will be back and potentially try others. I just stumbled upon this place while furniture shopping. Glad I dropped in!

Was lucky enough to receive one of the orange dreamsicle cupcakes from AmazCakes from a coworker and the shop name is not a lie. That cupcake was amazing! Can't wait to try other items from this shop.

Not only does this bakery have the best tasting pastries but she has the most professional and curtesies staff. It's so refreshing to find good food and good customer in an area people would not expect to find good customer service. This is my place for dessert!

I usually give very good reading on goods I purchase from businesses but unfortunately I can't do that with this company. The cakes I ordered from here was not as appealing as some of the comments says. I ordered the turtle and strawberry crunch cheesecake. I both of the cakes it looked as is cream cheese was just placed in the middle, no bells, no whistles. The strawberry cakes tasted like it was made from a box and the cake for the turtle cheesecake seemed to be box made also. One thing I can say is the slices are nice sizes but they need to rethink the prices if the cakes aren't made from scratch. Honestly, I wouldn't have given a 1 star but I had to to make a post. I'm very disappointed by the cakes and will not be returning back here. I have my receipt so you know I really purchased from here. 0/10

Nothing amazing about the cupcakes. I was in the area so I decided to stop by. It took me several days to try the half dozen purchased. Here are my thoughts: - these cupcakes are dense and dry not light and moist - the frosting is also heavy and taste like pure sugar without much flavors - the strawberry crunch was not good - the banana pudding on the inside was gross and gooey - the salted caramel actually had a bit of moisture but the density of the entire cupcake makes it hard to eat - the carrot cake did not have cream cheese frosting as told to me in the store - the Oreo cupcake didn't have but a sliver of cheesecake on top and again lacked flavor outside the Oreo cookie on top which catches your attention After hearing all the reviews and seeing people in this shop spend their last dollars and dimes my conclusion is this place is just not worth it. I won't be in the area nor will I make the trip to try anything else they have to offer. This place is hot now but the lack of appeal on the inside reduces any potential charm this place could have. Once the buzz dies down this place won't last long and I hate to the bearer of bad news because the staff was nice and there wasn't a long wait guess I know why now - nothing amazing about it!

I showed the baker/owner the type of cake I wanted for my 50th birthday, which was a liquor cake she did it. She was amazing. I highly recommend them. My cake was a strawberry with strawberry filling. Highly recommend.

Decided to try since I was in the area. I got a variety of cupcakes(6). They were lacking flavor and they are the densest cupcakes I've ever had. The service was quick and friendly enough. It's always bothers me when counter help also expects a tip. The shop was decorated cute. Would be nice spot for small gathering as long as you bring your sweets from some place else.

I Uber eats 6 cupcakes and banana putting All the cupcakes were dry--which was disappointing the only one I did eat completely was the one that had caramel inside it --caramel was tasty and helped with the dryness of the cupcake. Too pricy for the quality --the banana pudding had no real bananas in it. The cupcakes took pretty but that is all. Social media hype is deceiving

Everytime I go here want to buy everything! Everything thing looks delicious! And it tastes even better than it looks... OMG!! The cake is moist and flavorful, they never disappoint :-)

The inside was beautiful and I know if someone was to throw an event there they would be pleased. I was assisted right away when I entered which was great. If I was rating this on customer service they would have five . We are here for the desserts though, the cookies I bought were amazing. They were moist, tender when bitten, and they dissolved in the mouth with ease. They are huge in size which is good because this place is not cheap. As a cake decorator who does sales on the side, I understand. I could do without the icing drizzle on top though. It makes the cookie too sweet to finish a whole one in a day. The cake I had though was not the best flavor wise. Because it's because it was sitting on the shelves but the cheesecake in the center had a gritty texture and was not silky smooth like a normal homemade cheesecake should be. Plus the cake was too overpowering with banana extract that took over the moistness of the cake. Also the frosting was too sweet and had a weird texture to be called any kind of icing. I may not like buttercream but if the texture and taste is there I will not be biased when rating desserts. Check my other review and all other buttercream items I had; that was buttercream. I don't know what kind of sweet attack that was on the cake. Usually when I do a banana pudding cake I keep it all in the whip cream and mousse family, no vanilla icing will ever touch it. All in all the place was amazing and I will definitely return for more cookies in the future.

I loved everything I bought from there, The cake was so moist and the flavor wow. It's especially the sherbet it taste just like it. Don't get me started with the banana pudding cake fire. Definitely will go back even though it is an hour away from me it was worth it.

I purchased 3 cake slices, and most were delicious. I purchased the Shebert Cake (delicious), the Banana Cheesecake Cake (absolutely delicious ), and the Carmel Red Velvet Cake (a bit dry). The slices are $7.50 a piece, a bit on the expensive side for a slice, but overall I wouldn't make a special trip for the cakes. The service was friendly.

Stopped here after grabbing lunch. I warned my partner not to get refrigerated dessert from the bbq place we stopped at but he didnt listen. We get to Amazcakes and his eyes were wide open. I was sad they didn't have the Taffy Apple Cupcake and Strawberry Lemonade cake so we ended up getting the strawberry banana pudding cupcake, the strawberry crunch cupcake and the caramel cake. Baybeeeeee smiley happy face for the both of us. Will definitely be back. ~Iesha, don't forget to put the sticker logo on the containers for better promo.

Prices are way to high but I can say that this was the best cake I've ever tasted in my life. The flavor was actually amazing. The icing was very delicious and the cake was more of a homemade flavor. Trust me you won't be disappointed. This was the most expensive cake I've ever purchased for a small birthday gathering but it was worth it because it tasted so good. Place was not to crowded and the service was very great.

This is a cute little spot in an otherwise dreary, somewhat blighted area. The cakes are lovely, and there is quite a variety. The owner has been plying her craft for quite a while and I'm happy that she seems to be succeeding at doing what she loves. I am, however, a bit of a purist and pastry/dessert snob. I read the ingredient list displayed on each clamshell container and none listed butter as an ingredient, but I bought several items anyway. While I made/had a few cakes that were made with vegetable oil and turned out well, I am not a fan. Cakes need butter! lol All in all, this definitely seems to be a spot to check out if you need a birthday, shower, or other personalized cake. If you aren't a butter-belongs-in-baked-goods kind of person, you'll likely enjoy the variety of goodies offered.

Stopped in for cupcakes yesterday and we had the red velvet and the Oreo flavors. Cake was moist, frosting was full of flavor but not too sugary, and you get two for $4 (first-time Yelp check-in nets you $1 off). This is mainly a cakes-to-order shop with some other stuff available at certain times of day. Good times!

They nailed it once again for my baby's fifth birthday. Thanks so much again. One thing I will say is the icing had a foul after taste this time.. maybe that was the food coloring?

Ordered once before so I thought I'd give another go at this place. It's more like Baby Cakes than AmazCakes for me.

In an area that's slowly becoming upscale condos as far as the eye can see, this little shop feels like a neighborhood joint, which is always a big plus in my book. Our six-pack of cupcakes was amazing, and when I returned for coffee the next morning, I was pleased to see they also had breakfast sandwiches, which were simple but on-point. The staff was friendly and charming. Thumbs up from me.

I found out about this place through a groupon I recently bought, and I was excited to check it out. You never know when you'll need a birthday/other type of cake and the reviews on google and facebook were all high. Cakes are their specialty; when I got there today a lady was buying her daughter's 16th birthday cake and it was beautiful. My needs were more simple: a couple of slices of cake for me and some cupcakes for my nieces. So far I've tasted the banana pudding cupcake, a snickers cupcake, and a cookie crusted chocolate cupcake. The snickers cupcake was excellent, very moist and delicious. I thought the other two were very good too, though not as good as the chocolate one. I have high hopes for the rest of my treats and I definitely plan to come back.

This is a real gem. The service was excellent and once I got home and bit into the cupcake, my taste buds thanked me. Perfection. Also, my grandson found their cake pops and he said they were delicious, (he is four). It was just enough to satisfy him until we made it home. Staff was very friendly. Just a wonderful experience!!!

I ordered delivery using the Uber eats app and the bakery called to tell me two of the items weren't available. I asked for a refund for those two items and the woman said I would need to call Uber and handle that, which I've never had to do before in all my experiences using delivery apps. The businesses should be handling that with the delivery apps, not the customer. I called Uber and was on the phone for 15 minutes, only to be told that I would need to call back. I ended up just cancelling the entire order because it was WAY too much work for 4 freaking cupcakes. I'm sure they're good but they really need to figure out their delivery because this was way too much stress to put on a customer, and a bad first impression. I just ended up ordering cupcakes elsewhere.

The owner is friendly and I welcome them to our neighborhood!! Neighbors got cupcakes there and they were extremely fresh still two days later. Rich and delicious. I will be heading there for the next event where I need sweets!!

So...My daughter ordered her baby shower cake from here. She went in, ordered & paid half down on it ($180)TWO weeks prior to the day of the event. We stopped by A WEEK before the event to purchase A slice of the different varieties of the cakes so we can get a feel of what the cake was going to taste like. IT WAS GOOD & we double checked to make sure the cake design was correct. Ok...everything went well & we were looking forward to picking up the cake on the day of the event (March 24th) Here's where everything went down hill.... went in, the cake was gold and cream instead of the royal blue, gold and white that we ordered. It was an hr before the party. Upon is telling the cashier that it's not what we ordered she was apologetic & asked if I wanted to talk to the owner of course I said ABSOLUTELY so she called her on the phone & after I told her she said well, it's still the cake do you want us to put some blue stuff on it? I said I want it to be the way it's suppose to be... one of the girls in the back said they could put a blue edible blanket on top & she did & it looked like it was thrown on there for the hell of it!! I asked the owner how was she going to compensate us for this inconvience. She said I can give you 10 OR 15 dollars off. How in the hell do you offer a discount with an "OR"? I told her at the least you can take off $50 and you can try to put more blue on it. She said she couldn't do that because we're still getting the cake. However you don't offer refunds??? There is NOOOOOO way a $360 cake should have made with the colors y'all wanted to make it and just forget about what the order clearly said and you have that attitude like "oh well". The owner's attitude was unprofessional and non-chalant and the cake looked it was done by the little girls that were in the back. The cashier (which I found out was the owner's Mom) Was very nice and understandable but she only took off $20 instead and offered other items in the store but hell we didnt want them because it was not the color we wanted and at that point we had a bad taste in our mouths with how it all went down and caused my pregnant daughter to be stressed out. Then...the cake was a big heavy clump of sugar. Only thing was good was the strawberry filling. I was mostly disappointed in how the error that they made was handled. I will NEVER support this Black owned business or ANY color business that gives this type of service.

Found this place through Uber Eats and when I tell you this is a MUST TRY!!!! You have to give this place a visit. I had a craving for sweets "munchies" :). I ordered the Banana Pudding Cupcakes (2), Strawberry shortcake cheesecake,Peach cobbler, and the sweet potatoe pie. I was blown away. My fav out of them all was the Strawberry Shortcake Cheesecake. The price range of their deserts was very reasonable and I was surprised at the portion sizes of the cake slices. I was expecting them to be skimpy but that was not the case. A thick, decadent slice of heaven. I've gone to similar bakeries and the prices were ridiculously expensive and very small in size. Not to mention it's a woman owned black business. After taking a look at her site according to her bio she isn't professionally trained but self taught baker who started at Mariano's and turned it into a business. I'm all for entrepreneurship and supporting black owned business. I even gave them a shoutout via social media and they were quick to acknowledge my patronizing their business and thanked me and even asked if I'd enjoyed it. To sum it up in one word it's simply, AMAZCAKES!!!!

This cake was beautiful. but don't judge a book. the cake was hard and dry. It was totally inedible. I hope this was just a fluke but i'll never know. I gave 1 star because the cake was so pretty.

Awesome price for awesome cupcakes. Best cream cheese icing in town, I'm pretty sure! Try the key lime cupcake. It blew my mind.

Hit and miss, but ultimately, not ready for prime time. I ordered six (6) cupcakes (Peach Cobbler, Reese's, Snickers, Vanilla Birthday, Vanilla with Caramel Drizzle, and Vanilla Caramel) and one (1) slice of Strawberry Crunch with Cheesecake. The only edible cupcakes were chocolate based (Reese's and Snickers) and were quite delicious and moist. The peach cobbler was semi edible but still dense, not completely cooked, and somewhat dry. The vanilla based cupcakes were so dry and hard, they crumbled like sand; they were also tasteless. The Strawberry Crunch with Cheesecake had a nice flavor profile, however, I wasn't able to fully enjoy the cake because it was hard and also had texture problems. It's quite unfortunate, I had high hopes and expectations, however, my expectations were not met and ultimately, this bakery is not ready for prime time. The basics have to be mastered, especially baking a vanilla cupcake, before a bakery can be considered legitimate. Save your time and treasure and avoid this place, unless you're going for chocolate based cupcakes.
