Amaze Ramen has serious potential to become a neighborhood staple in Palms! Earlier this evening, my partner and I dined in and we had a fantastic time!
You order via a kiosk and seat yourself, reminiscent of other ramen shops in Japan. The entire restaurant felt nostalgic with small details placed throughout. It was so charming! We got the opportunity to chat with the ramen chef, Arthur, who was kind and passionate about his craft. Honestly, he added to the overall experience and made us instant fans. You could tell he really cared about getting it right, which was evident in the time and effort he took in preparing our dishes.
I got the Creamy Garlic Ramen, which had some delicious and rich broth! I absolutely recommend adding spice, if you can handle it, to give the bowl an extra kick! I actually wish I had asked for more! Each bite was more savory than the next, and before I knew it, I was already picking up my bowl to slurp the rest of the broth! They weren't kidding when they said it was creamy! Additionally, they gave a generous amount of toppings - more so than your usual ramen shop. They didn't skimp out - that's for sure! The bowl arrived piping hot, right from the kitchen to our table. The presentation was picture-perfect.
However, the noodles didn't quite hit the mark for me. While not bad, their texture didn't pair well with the broth, in my opinion. I'd love to see additional noodle selection options in the future.
While there's room for refinement, particularly with the noodles, the quality of the broth and toppings, along with the chef's evident passion, make this a promising addition to Palms' dining scene. The staff also asks for feedback too, which I really loved! They are really invested in perfecting their menu, which I love and appreciated. I'm excited to see how you all evolve over the next few months!
We'll be rooting for you, Amaze Ramen!
