Iceland Named The World’s Best Country To Move To In 2025

Joining tours through this company is presented as one of the main ways to use Reykjavik as a base for exploring the majesty of Iceland’s landscape, offering access to jaw-droppingly beautiful regions like the Snaefellsnes Peninsula and the iconic Golden Circle route with its waterfalls, geysers and geothermal springs. - Liv Kelly

My family enjoyed snowmobiling at the glacier. The view is amazing and the experience was one of a kind. They give you all the gear you need for the cold weather, which was nice. It is super cold at the top of the mountain, so hand and feet warmers are handy, if you could get some in advance!

Did 2 days of tours with amazing tours. The first day I did the snowmobile and golden circle tour. I want to start by saying Bart the super Jeep driver was super fun! Snow mobiles ended up being cancelled due to inclimate weather, but I’d still recommend the trip. We saw 3 main attractions through the golden circle including: tectonic plate valley, geysers, and a waterfall. To make up for the lack of snowmobiling, Bart took us to a dairy farm for icecream. We still have yet to receive a partial refund as promised despite 2 emails. The whole day was 8 hours. The second day we did the ice cave tour on a glacier. This tour was 3 hours in vik. Transportation from Reykjavik to vik was not given, unlike the golden circle tour providing pickup and drop off from the city. Despite this, the tour was absolutely wonderful. Pictures included.

My friend and I were looking forward to this tour the most for our girls trip to Iceland and we were not disappointed! This was one of the best tours I've done while traveling abroad and such a great value. Close out of any other tabs you have open for snowmobiling, this is it! Not rushed, fun ride up to the glacier where you change, and get on your snowmobile. After the first leg of snowmobiling, your guide will take you to a newly discovered ice cave...its truly beautiful! After that, you'll snowmobile back. Our tour was filled with laughs, jokes, and informative facts about the glacier, ice cave, etc. Please don't pass this one up!

We had a good time on the snowmobile tour. The booking experience was kind of annoying since we booked through a different website that did not make it clear that they were not the tour operator. So all the reviews and research we did were for a different tour company. Either way amazing tours was on the ticket and we drove our own way to the base camp. Staff were friendly and helpful getting us geared up. Once we got going in the super jeep it quickly broke down on the F road and it took them almost an hour to get it moving again. I think they need to get newer or bigger off roading vehicles since the other tour company on the same glacier was driving massive buses instead of modified Mercedes vans. After getting moving again we made it to the glacier and had a fun hour snowmobiling. They were tough to handle in the wind and on the ice but they were full speed and we were given a lot of freedom as long as we followed the guide up front. We were a small group (6 people) but we saw a larger group of almost 12 people on the way back that seemed more limited by their group size. We had a short stop on the glacier to take some photos and the guide shared some facts however they were hard to hear. Some headsets for the group would be a nice touch since the guides all have radios to communicate. After the snowmobiling was finished and we board the super jeep we got stuck on the F road again due to the snow. The driver managed to get it moving again but it was another 5 minute delay on top of the hour on the way there. The guide did bring us to the waterfall on the way back which was a nice addition. Overall a cool experience but not as good as the ice cave tour we did earlier in our trip. They had bigger vehicles that didn’t break down or get stuck, more knowledgeable guides, and the tour was cheaper for the same amount of time.

Booked a snow scooter tour and we had an absolutely amazing time! It was the first time for all of us but no worries because the guides were all super funny and happy to help. All the equipment (suits, gloves, etc.) you need is perfectly arranged for you once you arrive, there are plenty of people there making sure you get everything you need. The tour itself is amazing and the views are gorgeous. Would 100% recommend trying this tour out!!

Our buggy tour with Margaret was amazing! We had a lovely ride and Margaret gave us some history notes and answered all of our Iceland questions. The buggy tour was a fun way to tour around for a bit. We are avid ATV riders and we were able to have a fun and exhilarating ride. We also got to see the geyser blow.
