Amazon Go

First visit to an amazon go and it actually works as advertised. Its a small store with few items, but I would say its more about the experience than anything. Few table to have a quick bite, amazon lockers to order stuff for pickup, it checks off every box for a small location. I tried playing around as much as I could and it still billed me spot on. So it works.

Make sure you download the Amazon Go app before you go. My biggest question was how it knows what you've bought, and it seems like sensors that look like WiFi modems above monitor your every move. It's a pretty cool idea. A lot of healthy food at some pretty good prices. They also have Amazon Basics electronics. If you get ANY bag you have to add it on the app, hopefully one day it'll automatically add.

Yes, a massively awesome idea and experience. Flawless in its functionality. In this beta phase, there are nowhere near enough items available to make it worth using for anything but a quick snack. Long way to go but very cool. Amazon One payment worked perfectly as well. Mind slightly boggled.

I really love this Amazon Go store! It's very close to my workplace, but what makes this store stand out in particular is the EXCELLENT customer service. Every time I come in, the staff are very friendly, courteous, and happy to explain the Amazon Go system to any newcomers. Keep it up, it makes shopping there more personable and pleasant. Another plus is the access to a microwave, condiments, and utensils for any food you pick up there. There is a limited amount of counter seating which I also appreciate.

Dangerous convenience store. The cashierless model makes it very easy to spend money.
