An in-store cafe offers beverages and light bites, with plenty of benches outdoors for frolicking, noshing, and chatting recipes. Stopped in on a Tuesday morning for breakfast and was absolutely floored at the amazing selection of fresh, local produce and goods they have. Such a lovely flower section as well! I could have stayed there all day and had all my meals there. We ended up getting a breakfast burrito which was recommended by the cafe staff and it did not disappoint! It was so delicious. We added bacon and cheese and would highly recommend. The side salad was also very fresh and tasty. We can’t wait to come back!

This place was just aight. It's very crowded but gets moving quickly. Whole lot of weirdos frequenting here. The food selection definitely looks fresh and healthy but beware, it's on the pricier side than your average grocery store. Cashier was nice. Boyfriend got some things, I just got us beverages and some gluten free vegan brownie I was curious to try. Used that brownie as a chaser if you know you know hehehe.

They have a lot of things to sell. About 10 percent of space is devoted to merchandising. Good luck finding parking. Goin to bbq the corn and got a big ol red ripe tommatoe for the burgers

Gets busy but well worth the wait. 30 acre farm serving freshest food and produce around. Perfect stop to load up on a picnic on the way to the beach. Family / Kid friendly

Google
Upscale market and farm utopia, with sprawling meadows and picnic tables and classes for kids and fresh blueberries and green juices and plums and more. Of course everything is expensive but that’s the Hamptons. Offers breakfast and lunch sandwiches, too. A ritzy outdoor supermarket where you could laze at the picnic tables for a while and people watch. 5 stars!!!

A true Gem in Amagansett! Super fresh produce and gorgeous flowers. Lovely accomodating staff. A farm of flowers in which to stroll too!

Healthy delicious Breakfast Bowl, green juice, good iced coffee, children running around and in classes, people watching, exploring the farm, beautiful flowers and local products.

I stopped at Amber Waves daily during our trip to East Hampton!!! What a beautiful place that really embodies the ethos of family centric dining and shopping. It’s a wholesome scene seeing the students in one corner, the employees working hard, the families around enjoying all the beauties that our earth has to offer. The food was excellent, the organic curry chicken wraps were a great on the go option, but also the breakfast burritos were equally as great. I bought a tote to wear around home in Miami. God Bless this place!

Yelp
Best farm stand! Glad we were able to make stop in Amagansett at Amber Waves from Montauk to NYC. What a gem - hard to miss since it's on the main road. Fresh fruits, veggies, and flowers, cute merchandise too. I'm all for this non-profit. Must stops when at the Hamptons.

Yelp
Fresh menu with interesting flavor combinations. Get it to go or eat at their outdoor picnic tables. Everything was fresh and made well, though it took a bit of time to come out.

Yelp
Great not-for-profit farm with fresh produce and tasty lunch offerings. Educational garden is open to the public, unique for the east end of Long Island. Friendly staff and interesting operation. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
A fantastic local farmers market in the heart of downtown Amagansett. It's become one of my favorite spots because not only is it local produce they also make salads, wraps, and sandwiches with that same produce. They have everything from juice to veggies and everything in between. All options all healthy, organic, and farm fresh! There is ample street parking right outside. They also have a ton of fresh local flowers for sale. Their staff is very helpful and attentive!

Yelp
Absolutely LOVED this farmers market! We decided to stop by on our way home from Montauk and had fun exploring. The indoor section has a lot of fresh food that you can take home or sit outside to eat. I took home a couple items, but I'm the most excited about the mini eggplants because I've never seen those before. You can also head to the flower field to pick your own flowers, or walk around to see the animals and produce that they're growing. They even have a workshop section in which they'll have different lessons throughout the week (pasta workshop, wine and cheese pairing, tomato sauce making class, etc). This place is so cute and I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Yelp
The best place I ate at in The Hamptons. I know it's more farm than restaurant but it's got more soul than most. As a California girl you know I have a produce obsession and quite honestly spoiled when it comes to selection of fresh and in season fruit and vegetables, so it's no surprise that I fell in love with the place.

Yelp
My daughter is going to be in their "summer school" and we get to relax. Plus the farmers maket. This place is beyond special.

Yelp
I love this place!! Great veggies and food selection there must go if your in Hamptons

Yelp
High-end farmers market and pick-your-own gardens, with a casual cafe of breakfast-ish options and a coffee bar. Great produce and cut flowers, lots of house made pickles, condiments and baked goods. The staff is pretty low energy. I went after Labor Day so it might just be the byproduct of having survived another summer of socially aggressive Manhattanites... whatever the reasons, the lines tend to be long and move slowly.

Yelp
Really cute little farm stand in Amagansett located on the highway. They have a variety of organic fruits, vegetables and plants here, along with home goods such as soaps and bath salts. There is an outdoor seating area they have with tables in the shade.

Yelp
I got the veggie tacos here! I think this is a cute place as it's a farm where you can explore the plants they grow and etc. They sell a-lot of organic and fresh looking produce as well. The tacos were good but definitely a small portion so get two things if you have a small appetite.

Yelp
Yummy and healthy take away food. Loved the vibe and the many offerings here! Great latte also ;)

Yelp
This is a charming place: a farm market, a café/restaurant, a grocery store, and a farm. We had a great breakfast and took a self-guided tour around the farm. The produce was beautiful, and they had a great selection of cheese and other goods.

Yelp
Such an amazing place. Food is fresh, healthy and delicious. Huge selection of gluten-free options and the entire kitchen is nut-free, a major relief for those with allergies. Don't miss the scones and the surf bowl!

Yelp
I came here on my first day in the Hamptons, and it was such a good first stop. The whole place is adorable. I wandered around the shop first, where they have a ton of really great looking produce and other products. I got an oat milk latte and Socca ($16). The Socca was a chickpea pancake with a medley of vegetables and a salad. The whole thing was delicious and it was so nice sitting outside of their farm. Everyone that works there was also really nice. I will definitely be back to try more of their menu and shop around their market.

Yelp
Amber Waves is everything you'd want for a day out in Amagansett. It IS expensive, but that's what you get out in the Hamptons. Their kitchen is closed Tuesday (of course we tried to go for breakfast on a Tuesday) but it was worth it to try and go again. Their brunch and lunch options are written out and seasonal, and they have a few vegan/gluten-free options. The pastries we tried were all great, and not too full of sugar. Shop for produce and bougie snacks... or have a meal, or do it all! There is a large field for picnicking and playing if you have the family with you. Parking is easy just along the street, and they have tables and benches for you to enjoy your meal at. They offer proper teas and coffees, and we also tried a delicious blueberry muffin. I thought their take on bun chay (Vietnamese cold noodle salad) was, well, just a summer American salad with vermicelli. But the socca hit it out of the park. This is a naturally gluten-free chickpea flatbread. They filled it with veggies and it was just the perfect texture and flavor. Savory, summery, warm, filling. I also had my final summer peach here, and it was so ripe and juicy that it might be enough to get me to the next peach season...

Yelp
Nice little market. Good selection of local produce, cheeses and provisions. Prices were very high it seemed. The place has friendly folks and some nice walkable grounds. Some of their stuff isn't easily marked with pricing so that was a bit annoying. Overall good spot if you want to pick up local goods for a meal.

Yelp
We stayed in Montauk for a few weeks this fall and made it a ritual to go to Amber once a week to pick up all our fresh fruits and veggies! Highly recommend! They have a great selection of locally sourced ingredients. Top of list is heirloom tomatoes - sooo juicy! Their homemade tomato sauce is also amazing - we used it on everything! Not pictured here, but GET THEIR HOMEMADE PIES! Generally you can't go bad with anything - we can't wait to go back! Don't go go montauk without stopping here!

Yelp
The farmers market is only a 5 min walk from the Amagansett LIRR train station. This would be a great place to relax as you wait for a ride. Grab a coffee and read 'The East Hampton Star.' Coffee, a scone, and a heirloom tomato sandwich cost $18. Expensive, but quality produce and food. Ask for the bathroom key at the counter.

Yelp
I work in Amagansett so I'm here 5 days a week. I decided to try the curry chicken and I'm hard pressed to find any chicken! Pricey and small for no chicken. Try the Grab and Go Bean & Cheese Torrtilla Wrap... Addicting!

Yelp
Great breakfast and lunch. Small bee problem with the hot cider but def worth a visit

Yelp
Awf, formerly the beloved amagansett farmers market "tries to hard"- and fails to deliver the highly curated experience it aspires to or what the afm did. The result is disappointingly insubstantial and inauthentic.
google avatar

Jamie S.

Yelp
The produce that I've tried from here has all been very fresh and flavorful. I have also tried their zucchini loaf which I thought was really good. The shop is also decorated cutely and is very well organized. However, this shop is way overly priced, even for the Hamptons. For example, a small block of feta cheese was selling for $9. Even though I did like their products, there are other shops out here with comparable products that are a better value.

Yelp
They have great food and it's my favorite place. The chocolate chip cookies are the best.
google avatar

Yelp
The absolute BEST blueberry muffin you'll ever have! Amber Waves has a fantastic little market with fresh vegetables and fruit and baked goods - which are all incredible. All of the cookies and muffins and bars are fantastic. Stay for coffee & pastry, or order a lunch special and sit outside in the summer.

Yelp
Beautiful CSA box and lovely garden to walk through during the season. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars as it is a but spendy.
google avatar

Dima V.

Yelp
This place is terrible!!! I was passing through and saw this nice looking store so I stopped and went in. Selection of items was interesting however but there were no prices on many items. I took a salad and a loaf of bread and was charged $21. To top it all off the staff is unfriendly. Im ok with unfriendly staff if Im paying $5 in total. Salad wasn't that fresh either but the mixture of veggies was great. Bread was at least 2 days old. Seagulls at Montauk point loved it though

Yelp
If you're looking for a place to get seasonal veggies and fruits, delicious breads or high-quality pantry items, stop by Amber Waves Farm Market! Friendly staff, cute ambience, and some of the best groceries in the Hamptons -- way better than the IGA down the road. A bit pricey, but worth every penny. The majority of the produce comes from the farm, which is right in back behind the market. I absolutely love their cherry tomatoes, fresh onions and baby lettuce mixes. You should also definitely stock up on blueberries, peaches and nectarines, all of which come from the East End of Long Island. In addition, they have a lovely spread of baked goods and prepared foods from Carissa's Breads, Harbor Market and Mary's Marvelous, featuring freshly-baked baguettes and croissants, sandwiches, muffins, and salads. Grab a bag of chips, a cold brew coffee and an ice cream sandwich, then enjoy a leisurely lunch outside. Don't forget to pick up some fresh mozzarella on your way out!

Yelp
Great Farm Store. Its now my second time. I love the vegan veggie Baguette sandwiches. Its the perfect outdoor space to visit and get farm fresh food in this time starved word, and also grab lunch and chill out side and take a break on picnic tables. Reminded me of a old apple orchard my dad would take us to back in the 80's in Massachusetts. 5 Star daytime fun..

Yelp
As a local to Amagansett for many a year, Amber Waves Farm serves as a platform for the highest quality produce in the East End as well as a lovely and welcoming environment to both locals and visitors. Their made-to-order menu options are ever changing and delicious. After talking with the chef, I learned about his commitment to using whatever is ready to come in from the field and into his kitchen. He's created some really special meals with this seasonality mind. Feel free to walk into the field, which is located directly behind the market. You will be able to see the produce that's in the store on the vine, immerse yourself in beautiful herbs and flowers, and get a kick from watching the chickens and ducks. (Every weekend they have "chores with a farmer", so bring your kids). Located right on 27/Montauk Highway, AWF serves as a perfect place for a sit down breakfast or lunch, pick up some groceries, or grab some snacks and treats for the beach.

Yelp
A bit of a store, a bit of a restaurant, but not much of either. The prices are not posted on the menu, but they are high. The food is ordinary at best. I had a so-called tarting, which was actually a veggy mush on bread. My companions had fish tacos, which they said were OK. It's located where Eli's used to be. That was a great place. This is not. Also, the bathroom is a porta-potty. I'm

Yelp
This is simply one of the best places in the Hamptons. The food that they grow is among the best I've had out here -- I'm a member of their CSA program and literally hoard the sweet potatoes at the end of the season -- the cafe is delicious and healthy, and the farmers take such care to include kids in both their merchandise and their education program, in order to help raise a new generation that's interested in how to take care of our land. If you join the CSA you also get to pick flowers and fruits and veggies in the field! Cant recommend highly enough!

Michael W.

Yelp
Very nice people, trying their best. But best is one stumble after another. They announced garden pizza night, brought in an impressive wood burning oven, and then promptly ran out of dough. Well meaning really never gets you too far. Alas.

Kenneth S.

Yelp
As a long time visitor to Amagansett and the east end, Amber Waves Farm Market is a welcome update to the long-standing Amagansett Farmer's Market. The newly christened market is bright, open, and friendly. It's a great place to shop for picnic items, dinner or healthy snacks for the beach. The Amber Waves team has put together a wonderful showcase for their organic fruit, vegetables, and herbs, and great platform to share their own bounty alongside wares from like minded local producers.

Ashkan K.

Yelp
Great products (in particular fruits and sweet corns) but unfriendly and unhelpful staff. One shouldn't hire young students who don't know anything about the products they are selling and who are too lazy to learn about them.
google avatar

Cinthia Z.

Yelp
Female cashier was extremely rude and annoying, yelling that the restrooms were for "costumers only" when she clearly saw that I had a handful of stuff that I had selected for purchase. She later made a sweet young gentlemen check us out because she didn't want to do it herself. Not enough variety.

Andy P.

Yelp
What a travesty for Amagansett. What used to be the most wonderful community meeting place has become a sorry excuse for a market. There are wonderful farm stands in the area. Why would anyone visit this place? The town didn't need this. It needs the old Amagansett Farmers Market back - a unique place at the crossroads of community and food.

Amg H.

Yelp
This market changed hands in 2017 and has improved dramatically. The choices of farm fresh produce, fresh baked goods and homemade meals is wonderful. You can eat at seats around the property or take home. There are lots of places on the farm behind the market to entertain kids, from collecting eggs to picking flowers and herbs.

Ginny L.

Yelp
Went here yesterday with a friend. The Amagansett Farmers Market has always been a happily anticipated stop on our way to Montauk, but I've not been this way in a couple of years. Well, let's just say the AFM, as I knew it at least...is no longer What an excuse for the once-wonderful place it used to be. The first major disappointment was the now scanty selection of items. The place is a fraction of the size it once was. I had been looking forward to what was once the most delicious almond croissant imaginable, but they had none. Next, some items for our trip...simple things like crackers and guac and milk...came to a small (almost ridiculous) fortune. I left there so, so very sad. The Market is gone now.
