I ordered the almond flavor for my wedding cake and it was amazing! The design was exactly what I wanted! I also ordered a cheesecake last minute for my husband and it was delicious! The guests are still talking about how good it was.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Ambrosia Bakery in Hot Springs, Arkansas! They created the wedding cake and cupcakes for my stepdaughter’s big day, and everything was absolutely fantastic. The cake was not only beautiful but also incredibly delicious—moist, flavorful, and perfectly decorated. The cupcakes were just as amazing and a huge hit with our guests. From start to finish, the team at Ambrosia was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and it showed. If you’re looking for a bakery that delivers both quality and exceptional service, look no further. Highly recommend!

Got my mom a last minute birthday cake. Went with strawberry and they even put some cherries in. Not only beautiful but DELICIOUS

Stopped in for Cookies and discovered there were so many more options. Location, Atmosphere and Prices are Great! Very laid back Atmosphere, quiet and cozy. I liked the big window with the bar table where you could look out towards downtown hot springs. The Army Tank is very cool! Overall cute place to grab a bite, a sweet, and have some chill time. Will definitely be back and recommending to all my friends and family.

Google
My blueberry danish was one of the best I’ve ever had. The vibe inside the restaurant is very relaxed and welcoming. The staff are friendly and attentive. Come here on a Saturday then hit the farmers market across the street.

Google
Bought a key lime pie. It tasted like it had been sitting there for days, icing was chewy and too sugary, the crust was under cooked and we could hardly taste the key lime. Super disappointing. The pie was thrown out not nearly worth the calories. Walmart pies taste better and that is not saying much. On the bright side, service was great.

I’ve been treated by Ambrosia since I can remember by family, friends, coworkers. But I have never gone there personally until recently and I even decided to have lunch it looked so good. So happy I did! BEST FLATBREAD HANDS DOWN- they had bbq chicken which looked tempting but the margherita was calling me and I’ve never had that flavor before. It was so good I got half of it to-go and drove it to someone I knew had to try it. I’d go back for that. Now if you enjoy sausage links, and unique ones at that, definitely try the sweet and spicy breakfast sandwich. It’s handcrafted with pineapple and on a homemade jalapeño bun- soooooo good, very filling! I loved the flavor profiles for each and so happy this place isn’t just for the sweet tooth’s out there because I am not really one. The atmosphere had a nice, open casual feel and the staff was super helpful and kind. You can tell there’s passion in this business. Will definitely be back.

Google
I went on a Saturday morning in July. The employees were polite, but their confusion and the manager’s rudeness created a terrible experience where I will never go again. After the staff’s mix-up with my coffee order, I waited over 20 minutes for my coffee (while other parties were served before me) only to be told they weren’t serving coffee that day. When I asked for a refund, the manager was openly rude to both the staff and myself. Other customers had problems that morning because it wasn’t clear if or how coffee was being served. If made-to-order coffee isn’t available, it should be clearly communicated to avoid wasting customers’ time. Please don’t charge customers for coffee you don’t have, and don’t be rude when a refund is requested. I haven’t tried their bakery services, but I would not recommend dining in or taking out pastries and coffee.

Yelp
I got a cake here for my mom. It was perfect! Strawberry cake with strawberry and cherry filling, Y'ALL. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Cute place right by Farmers Market, near the Transportation Station greenway. Absolutely beautiful AND delicious, fresh, perfectly made food. We shared a spinach and feta croissant which reminded us of Moms! (He's Greek) His Cinnamon roll was moist , filled with cinnamon and just right glazed, not overly sweet and drowning in it. My Peach Turnover which was the very best I've ever eaten. Fresh peaches wrapped in delicious dough, cooked to perfection and sprinkled with sliced almonds and I think, a little honey? We will be back tomorrow for a bag of treats to take home for our Easter celebration. Too many choices to make and there is a steady line of customers here, but they move through quickly

Yelp
Spinach feta turnovers and apple turnovers are amazing. The dough is crispy. The apple turnovers have nice flavor and not too sweet. Both are solid 5/5 stars. Pumpkin pie is diabetic alert. It's overwhelmingly sweet and I can barely taste any pumpkin. Stay away from this pie.

Yelp
Service was great. I got a loaf of whole grain bread and a few of their cookies. The bread is better than most of the grocery store choices and the cookies were mostly okay, with the exception of the chocolate chip cookie which looked like a rock and was as hard as one too.

Jessica N.

Yelp
Delicious! Had the Italian cream cake, so glad it was available since we were last minute walk ins

Tina N.

Yelp
We ordered the peach and blueberry danish. Peach was our favorite. Had a couple of bars and a macaroon and snickerdoodle cookie. Service was quick. Cute store.

Renee M.

Yelp
We needed a last minute cake and this bakery supplied the perfect item. The cake was delicious and beautiful.

Yelp
Wonderful, quaint family owned bakery near the start of Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail (by end of old RR tracks). A diamond in the rough, stumbled upon this by smelling the flavorful bakery scents in the air as we completed a morning walk on the Greenway Trail near downtown HS. Fresh baked goods with a simple menu for breakfast or lunch, this is worth a visit for dine-in or takeout. A 4-4.5 rating for outstanding baked treats, friendly quick service, and affordable cost UNDER $10pp. No fancy gourmet coffees offered, but freshly brewed is available. Stopped for a snack after a healthy walk, so ordered a super YUMMY breakfast pastry of Greens, Egg and Ham; served warm, a soufflé styled pastry is absolutely fantastic, nice combination of ingredients and light flaky crust!! I could eat this everyday! Also got to try a Chorizo and Goat cheese pastry. This was very good, but definitely heavier on tender, saltier chorizo meat versus Goat cheese flavor. Next time I'd like to try a Spinach Feta pastry, perhaps a bit lighter and healthier. But you won't go wrong on either. Finally, tried a cookie with Chocolate filling as dessert, great treat and not overly sweet. If you like fresh baked goods, visit Ambrosia Bakery. Enjoy!

Yelp
The absolute best chocolate macaroons I've ever had !! The blueberry danish was delicious as well!! O and I cannot forget the Italian white cake! I'm not sure there is anything I wouldn't recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
I'll start with the positives. Ambrosia served me me the best grilled cheese I've ever had. I didn't want it to end. From now on, I'm putting garlic in the ones I make at home. Also, who knew gruyere and cheddar would work so perfectly together?? On the flip side, the pastry bars we got were all crust - more of a crumble than a bar. This made the fruit ones a bit underwhelming, as there wasn't much fruit to speak of, but the Hello Dolly flavor was nice. Overall, though, I will come back next time I'm in Hot Springs, because their other offerings seems promising.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday after shopping the farmers market next door. Ordered the Congo bar and lemon bar. Neither was fresh. They were hard, dry and very crusty. The Congo bar broke into 15 crumbly pieces as soon as I tried to bite it. Both should have had a nice chew. They both tasted like they were two weeks old and had dried out in their refrigerator on those white trays wrapped in plastic. A super disappointment. I won't be back.

Yelp
Friendly, great atmosphere and wonderful treats. A neat place for a sandwich lunch. Chicken salad, egg salad

Yelp
I was in Hot Springs for a week and I was so glad that I found this bakery! It's not on the main drag but it had good yelp reviews so I thought I'd check it out... I am glad that I did! The prices are very reasonable and so I ended up going there quite a few times for lunch. My go-to was always the quiche which was served warmed and with fresh fruit. The fruit was always very fresh. The bagels and cream cheese were a good choice as well. Of course, I had to get some sweet baked goods right? I highly recommend the cheese danish (this was a repeat choice for me!). Their slices of cake are also wonderful. Very tasty frosted cut out cookies. There's a plethora of other choices that I would definitely sample but one can only choose so many baked goods within a week's time. :) Another great thing about this bakery is the dining area. There's a few tables to sit at and it was always very peaceful even with customers coming in and out of the bakery. Staff were very pleasant.

Yelp
Best Bakery in Central Arkansas. They have the best German chocolate cake and Cherry Pie around. A must stop in downtown Hot Springs.

Shay W.

Yelp
We just enjoyed a very delicious lunch at Ambrosia today. I ordered the tuna and my husband ordered the egg olive salad, both served on fresh warm breads. We topped off our lunch with 2 chocolate covered macaroons. They have tables behind the bakery, so we we able to enjoy our lunch outside on this beautiful day. The staff were so friendly. Love this place!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Just ok, I was hoping for bakery that made really good bakery items. I've been to bakeries that everything you taste is outstanding.

Scott N.

Yelp
Oohhh! The intoxicating of aromas before we even opened the door of this quaint yet plentiful little bakery that reeked of southern charm! Ambrosia is aptly named "the food of the gods!" We had stopped in for a late brunch, shared a couple of exciting breakfast turnovers, a delightful pastry called "green eggs and ham", and several scrumptious little sausage pinwheels. Yum! The cakes, cookies and abundant sweet treats were beautiful to behold--we had a difficult time choosing between them--and still can't decide whether the carrot cake, chocolate macaroons or the decadent Italian cake were our favorites! We were lucky enough to meet the owners before we left, needing to compliment them on the bakery, their offerings, and courteous, friendly staff. They are delightful, and should be ever so proud of their hard work! We were able to drop in for another quick visit, this time for the most delicious flatbread, brownies and cookies to go. Again, we were not disappointed, and would most definitely be regulars if we lived in the area! Hmmm...May be worth a move from Virginia .

Yelp
After living in the Hot Springs area for just about five years now I found this bakery! I was planning a birthday party and a friend said if I could pick up a cake for her. You can't just go into this bakery and just get two things. I met the owner she was absolutely delightful and very helpful. I will be back there carrot cake is amazing! I have been back two times to pick one up. Highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Regina G.

Yelp
I went in for their delicious crumb coffee cake and their Margherita flat bread. Both are so delicious. The ruhgala are delicious and they have an array of goodies. They do custom cakes as well. You pay a little more but the quality is worth it!! Staff is very friendly!! Love this place!
google avatar

Mattie L.

Yelp
Ambrosia Bakery did the cutest cookies for a bridal lunch! I called them the week of and they were so quick to respond. Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice, quick, quiet, and cozy atmosphere for a light lunch. Today I had the Egg Olive Sandwich on a warm Ambrosia baked roll. Delicious! Kettle Chips and a pickle on the side topped it off. The sandwich was divine and loaded. Order at the counter is a great marketing strategy because you get to see all their freshly baked cookies, pies, cakes, flatbreads, etc. Today for dessert I had the Orange Chocolate filled cookies which are excellent. Wonderful bakery for all your special wants and needs.
google avatar

Madeleine R.

Yelp
My family has used ambrosia for all of our cake/cookie/pastry needs over the last two years. It was a no brained for us to use them for my wedding. The petit fore's were moist and delicious, and their delivery prompt. The bakery was always responsive to email and phone. Memorable and delicious cakes!

Andrew H.

Yelp
The service is amazing and the workers are soooo friendly and nice. The food was amazing I would really recommend this place for some one on the go or here for vacation Five star service Five star food
google avatar

Mindi A.

Yelp
Parkedat the transportation depot to walk the Hot Springs Greenway and noticed this little bakery. It is fully stocked with all the sweet treats you could want! I had a hard time deciding on which one to grab for my walk! Ended up with a pumpkin roll. It was perfect! Nice and soft and filled with a sweet cream. Yum! They also have breads, bagels, and savory baked goods. Drinks is basic -- coffee, soda, and water.

Yelp
Wonderful small quiet bakery/restaurants. Baked goods are fabulous, sandwiches are equally as delicious with a little gourmet twist. Love coming here.

Valli M.

Yelp
A last minute cake order on December 30th. I was traveling for a very small wedding and just needed an 8" wedding cake. I called and was so happy I called this bakery. The cake was beautiful, the price was very reasonable (compared to Los Angeles prices) and the cake tasted great. This bakery will be my Arkansas Family's bakery from now on. Thank you so much for helping me out last minute.

Carol D.

Yelp
Raspberry bars, Dolly bars, salmon quiche were all delicious! Everything was fresh. Highly recommend this place!

L S.

Yelp
Cute bakery we discovered early this morning after going to the farmers market. We got the bacon twists, sausage pinwheels, and a pastry with egg/greens/cheese/ham. Everything was very tasty! They had beautiful cake and cookies, and based on our breakfast experience, I would venture to say they taste good as well. We may have to stop back before heading home!
google avatar

Corina F.

Yelp
They always have way to good goodies. Fresh baked goods from bread to challah to cookies and custom cakes if you like. They serve great brunchy type foods and the atmosphere is unique with exposed brick and beams. I always enjoy bagel and lox and they make it like I would so it has to be good.
google avatar

Lori P.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing to work with. Millie and the other workers listen to what I have in mind and run with it! They are the only people I trust my cakes to! They will not disappoint. And their Italian creme is one of the best! When you stop on try their cookies also!

Amy S.

Yelp
Amazing ,beautiful strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting. Decorations were elegant and beautiful for the birthday celebration. Can't wait to return and try more of the delicious looking desserts.

Bridgit I.

Yelp
Every year my dad buys me a red velvet cake with coconut for my birthday. Red velvet cake is light an silky. The cream cheese icing should be the same. However, It was not the case this year. The cake was heavy and not well mixed. The icing was ok. The whole cake looked an tasted like it came from Wal-Mart. Except that Wal-Mart at least mixes the cake batter properly.
google avatar

Skila R.

Yelp
So yummy! So super affordable. I don't know why it is listed with $$$$. It's a fantastic bakery, and the prices are just so fair. We had a cup of coffee (love that they brew Community coffee), had a cream cheese croissant and a slice of buttermilk pie for around $6. And it was all fresh and home made!

Rw F.

Yelp
I wanted to ask for one of everything and I wished I did after tasting the baked goods. The sandwiches and other lunch items are good too.
google avatar

Garrett S.

Yelp
Best bakery in Hot Springs. Sausage pinwheels for breakfast and a few cookies for your breakfast dessert. Great location and friendly staff in walking distance from downtown.

John N.

Yelp
Ambrosia baked us a wonderful cake for our 30th anniversary and delivered it to our home. It was wonderful. A dark chocolate layer cake with raspberry filling and buttercream icing. In this time of Covid It helped make our private celebration very special. Our thanks to all who made this happen!
google avatar

Melissa B.

Yelp
After a friend's wedding, I knew this is where I'd buy my wedding cake from! I knew I wanted white cake but they let you try all the flavors anyway! They have so many fillings you can choose from but they weren't included on the tasting tray. I asked about lemon and raspberry and they actually went and whipped them up to taste! They were out of this world! I chose a white cake with white icing and lemon filling. It was the most deliciously perfect cake of all time! They are closed on Sunday which worried me because I was fearful of picking up my cake on Saturday then being responsbile for it for an entire day. For a small fee, they delivered the cake even though they were closed! I can't wait to eat the top layer on our first anniversary!

Carol F.

Yelp
This place has everything! So many options including vegetarian options. All options are handmade in store. We bought extras and ate them all within hours. We recommend the spinach and feta croissant. If you are in Hot Springs, Ambrosia is a must!
google avatar

Sunny R.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Their Italian Creme Cake is delicious. They have a wide variety of all types of cookies and pastries. Their new location reminds me of a European bakery with plenty of parking and that "old town" charm. The nostalgic, nuance that includes the tantalizing aroma of hot cinnamon rolls, cookies, and freshly brewed coffee makes this a place that I enjoy visiting time after time.
google avatar

Melissa T.

Yelp
It was my husband's birthday and being from out of town, we headed to Ambrosia based on a recommendation from locals. We ordered a Variety of desserts including a German chocolate cupcake, chocolate milkshake cupcake, chocolate chip cheesecake cupcake, apricot and raspberry rugulahs (based on another Yelp review), snicker doodles, butterscotch pecan bar, and Italian cake. The Italian cake which is their specialty was absolutely delicious! Very moist with excellent frosting. We would absolutely order this again. The butterscotch pecan bar was also very good, not as sweet as I expected, but quite good. The rest we probably would not order again. The cookies and rugulah are too bready for our taste, and the cupcakes were just okay.
google avatar

Jeanne M.

Yelp
So glad Ambrosia moved downtown. It's now one of my regular stops. We are hooked on the chocolate dipped macaroons! Have been a customer for years and I would go out of my way for special occasions for the Italian creme cake. Now, with the covenient location for me, it's part of my grocery routine.

Julie F.

Yelp
Hands down the best cake we have ever eaten. The red velvet and Italian cream cake our my favorite!
google avatar

Randolph M.

Yelp
Wow... Cookies galore! A must try are the Rugelach cookies. They have both Apricot, and Raspberry Rugelachs, and both are delicious. I've never seen them before, but I'm hooked now. What's a Rugelach, you ask? It's a small twisted pastry with Jewish origins. And these guys make absolutely incredible ones. I bought a dozen, and ate one of each flavor. I turned my back, and Julie ate the other 10! Gonna have to go back and get more.
google avatar

Kate H.

Yelp
A Nightmare to work with! If you are wanting a custom cake, Do Not Go Here! We are from Mississippi and we're getting married in hot springs. All I knew about Ambrosia came from images of cakes on their website, which looked great. Then I tried actually planning out our wedding cakes with them. First after trying 3 times they were never available to schedule a meeting to discuss what we wanted. Then After deciding to just do it through email, they would not work with us to give us what we wanted. This bakery's motto "No Substitutions!". If you are wanting a cake that looks like anything but a plain cream colored cake, then you have no choice but to have a white cake with buttercream icing (yes like birthday cake, ew!). I later found out, after talking with people from Hot Springs, that Ambrosia actually has a strong reputation of being very difficult to work with. Would Not Recommend Them To Anyone!
google avatar

Randa C.

Yelp
This place makes the best Italian Cream cakes... we also pick up our Birthday cakes here too! Not a bite left!

Katie K.

Yelp
absolutely the best Italian wedding cake around. They are easy to work with. I ordered my daughters baby shower cake and showed a pic of what I wanted. It turned out beautiful. They even did a layer of strawberry with strawberry chunks. The next layer was a strawberry and white mix and another layer with just white cake. It was so moist and delicious. We also picked up some macaroons, lemon cookies, snicker doodles, and some raspberries minis type pastries. Everyone loved all of it.

Piper W.

Yelp
This bakery is fabulous!!!! The cakes are so light and moist. The buttercream frosting melts in your mouth. The italin wedding cake is heavenly. I am in love with the maccaroons, regular and chocolate dipped. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Specialty cupcakes, pastries, even Razorback sugar cookies for the game. We ordered Razorback cupcakes for the last game and they were a gone before half time. Everything is great at Ambrosia Bakery. You will be so glad you stopped in. Piper

Barbara B.

Yelp
Bought some items yesterday. The rugelahs did not have very much filling as rugelahs usually do. The pecan Danish we bought were very dry. I usually like everthing I eat, but I was disappointed with these items we purchased. I almost went back to get money back.
google avatar

Gigi L.

Yelp
I was looking to plan a baby shower and birthday party using this bakery. The front desk employees were very welcoming and nice. I had more questions about ingredients in cake so Sarah was called from the back to answer questions. She immediately said that she was busy working on wedding cakes and asked if I could come stand at the counter oppose to me sitting at a table near by (currently 8 months pregnant). After I persuaded her to come sit, every question and request was answered with an attitude or snappy comment to follow. She does not have any customer service skills at all, and (as a business owner),I was shocked at the lack of assistance she wanted to provide me while attempting to come spend $ like everyone else. Now that this rant is over, I simply drove to the next bakery were Kathy & Rick at Mueller's welcomed me & my $. I can't imagine how this place has any business, I will NEVER return.
