This Valencia Street Irish Pub Could Soon Be Demolished to Make Way for A New High Rise | Eater SF

"I noted that neighbors and locals are rallying around Ambrosia Bakery owner Keith Troung after the city fined him $4,460 for hiring someone to cut back a tree that he and other business owners said was dangerously blocking a stop sign. Businesses had previously asked the city to trim the tree, but a city inspector judged it was not urgent and “wasn’t completely covered,” Department of Public Works spokesperson Rachel Gordon said; the city also found the trees weren’t pruned correctly by the trimmer. A petition with 1,500 signatures is asking the city to overturn the fine." - Dianne de Guzman

Gluten free, dairy free, egg free!! This box of cookies were gifted to our family. Im gluten free, my daughter is allergic egg, Dairy and soy. I popped one of these in my mouth and was floored at how good they are! Highly recommend. Wish I took a pic before we ate on them.

Super friendly and everything taste so good! Drove all the way from Clearfield just to try it. I can’t believe something so yummy could be gluten free. From a celiac girly thank you!!! There is also some DF options available and they offered to pack them separately. 💕

Being gluten free can be so disappointing but this bakery makes it feel alright. Everything, and I mean everything, that I've tried here had been quality and delicious. This is the third time visiting and there is always new and creative options. Very happy to gave found this place and will recommend to other gf friends.

As someone with absolutely no food restrictions, this is a great place to get your treats and goodies from. My wife and I were introduced to Ambrosial by a friend and it was financially dangerous to live as close as we did because everything is so so good. We love it here and we love the employees who have always been so sweet to us. Unfortunately we moved and don't end up down there nearly as often anymore but they are amazing! Some favorites of ours are the brookie, French silk cookie, cheesecakes, and the cheddar wrapped Hotdog.

I've been eating gluten free for a decade and make a point of trying local gluten free bakeries and restaurants. These are truly some of the best treats I've tried! My gluten-eating family also enjoyed some cookies from here. I appreciate how nostalgic some of the selections are (oatmeal cream pies, and shout out to the the Christmas Tree Snack Cakes!). I was also pleasantly surprised at how affordable they are for the quality. I am so happy this place exists!

Ambrosial Bakery is a gluten free gold mine! It’s so nice to know I can get delicious bakery items that I know will be actually taste “normal”. Most gluten free desserts are not this way. Everyone who works there is incredibly kind and helpful. Please give them a try for any of your gluten free friends. My favorites are the sugar cookie, french silk cookie and the cinnamon rolls. You really can’t go wrong with anything you get, trust me.

It’s rare to find treats that cater to dietary needs without sacrificing flavor, but Ambrosial nails it. The baked goods are fresh, creative, and full of rich flavor. Whether you have food sensitivities or just love a good pastry, this place is worth a visit!

Walked in and instantly got hit with that warm, fresh-baked cookie smell. The guy working was super friendly. I couldn’t decide, so I asked for his favorite, and he nailed it. Great variety, great service, great cookies.
