This Valencia Street Irish Pub Could Soon Be Demolished to Make Way for A New High Rise | Eater SF

"I noted that neighbors and locals are rallying around Ambrosia Bakery owner Keith Troung after the city fined him $4,460 for hiring someone to cut back a tree that he and other business owners said was dangerously blocking a stop sign. Businesses had previously asked the city to trim the tree, but a city inspector judged it was not urgent and “wasn’t completely covered,” Department of Public Works spokesperson Rachel Gordon said; the city also found the trees weren’t pruned correctly by the trimmer. A petition with 1,500 signatures is asking the city to overturn the fine." - Dianne de Guzman

Being gluten free can be so disappointing but this bakery makes it feel alright. Everything, and I mean everything, that I've tried here had been quality and delicious. This is the third time visiting and there is always new and creative options. Very happy to gave found this place and will recommend to other gf friends.

As someone with absolutely no food restrictions, this is a great place to get your treats and goodies from. My wife and I were introduced to Ambrosial by a friend and it was financially dangerous to live as close as we did because everything is so so good. We love it here and we love the employees who have always been so sweet to us. Unfortunately we moved and don't end up down there nearly as often anymore but they are amazing! Some favorites of ours are the brookie, French silk cookie, cheesecakes, and the cheddar wrapped Hotdog.

Ambrosial Bakery is a gluten free gold mine! It’s so nice to know I can get delicious bakery items that I know will be actually taste “normal”. Most gluten free desserts are not this way. Everyone who works there is incredibly kind and helpful. Please give them a try for any of your gluten free friends. My favorites are the sugar cookie, french silk cookie and the cinnamon rolls. You really can’t go wrong with anything you get, trust me.

It’s rare to find treats that cater to dietary needs without sacrificing flavor, but Ambrosial nails it. The baked goods are fresh, creative, and full of rich flavor. Whether you have food sensitivities or just love a good pastry, this place is worth a visit!

Walked in and instantly got hit with that warm, fresh-baked cookie smell. The guy working was super friendly. I couldn’t decide, so I asked for his favorite, and he nailed it. Great variety, great service, great cookies.

I ate it so fast I didn't get a picture. LOVE a 100% GF bakery! My Celiac daughter was so happy. The strawberry cheesecake handpie was delicious. My daughter loved her caramel apple handpie. And the Eat Your Feelings Trifle was super sweet. Definitely share it.

So delicious! I got the oatmeal cream pie and French silk cookie, and both were unbelievably delicious! Even my husband who doesn't eat gluten free loved it! I didn't try these, but they had savory pastries, frozen take and bake options, and even sold their flour The bakery is super cute and has tons of character as a bonus

I've been wanting to come here for a LONG time, but I live almost 45 minutes away. I finally made it down last weekend! I got the GF/DF chocolate cookies (cookies and cream and French silk), and they were DELICIOUS. I also got the GF/DF take and bake cinnamon rolls, and they were DIVINE. Absolutely heavenly and savored every roll! I wish there was another location in the Salt Lake Valley, as I would come ALL the time! I am so grateful there are places like Ambrosial that provide amazing GF/DF treats for those of us who have had to go without for so long!
