I only go here for miscellaneous IMAX showings due to the convenience of location. The concession options are very standard, the customer service is so-so, but it’s decently clean. All of this could be overlooked if they provided a decent IMAX experience but the seats aren’t comfortable, the audio mix is always a bit loud, and worst of all they have an exit sign light you see through the screen.

Overall, find a different theater if you can. The staff was very friendly and professional. It seemed like a good atmosphere walking in. And that's all the good I have to say about the experience. The bathrooms were pretty gross with unknown liquid and toilet paper on the floor and pee on seats and still in the bowl. One stall door was missing a lock, and I just tried not to touch or step on anything I didn't have to. It was clear that they had not been attended to in a while. Moving to our actual theater, several seats appeared to be in rough shape, from torn fabric to just appearing broken. One of our seats was actually broken and we just shuffled into new ones that appeared available. There was also a pretty distracting scratch on our movie screen. You could tell there had been an attempt to repair it, but it was still clearly evident as the movie played. I wrote to AMC about the experience the next day and was refused a refund as the movie time had passed, but kindly offered two free tickets with the encouragement of next time to speak with a manager while I am on property, which is fair. On the free tickets though, I passed. No thank you. I will be avoiding this theater from now on.

Recently went to a later showing 11pm of Wicked for good 11/26/25 was excited to go and first of all the popcorn I was excited to get was the limited one for the movie…ya totally gone and they had none for a holiday weekend…that was disappointing, but I get it, it happens. Then after that get seated in the IMAX theater only for us to realize the screen has several rips and darkened tears in it and they literally we’re ruining the movie…my partner and me were going back tomorrow for Zootopia 2 and we’re informed it’s on the same screen so had to get a refund for that…they kept the 5 dollars for the convenience fee and only refunded my ticket price so kept almost 6 bucks and they gave me a couple of passes for not staying to watch Wicked for good because every time you can’t unsee the rips and the dark stains on peoples faces…seriously they know they have a screen that is damaged and are taking advantage of folks going to the mall movies this holiday, the company needs to close down the IMAX until they fix this but they seem to want money over offering a good viewing of these movies and don’t care if people see giant black stains on the screen. Skip and good the IMAX until they fix it!!! Reply to theater for reply to review: you are not sorry, you literally did nothing to fix this and have still sold tickets to the broken screen that should be shut. Corporations that don’t make fixes but offer empty words no longer deserve to just get away with a reply and no actions to back it up. Fix the issue

Google
It sucks because the ground-level employees are always nice and helpful, and the closing/assistant managers always seem nice too, but it's clearly got some Mister Krabs-level penny-pinching GMs or regional managers given the shoddy state. Clearly whoever the head honchos are have no pride whatsoever in the theater itself, since even the IMAX screen is noticeably scratched to hell and desperately needs repair - that is the FLAGSHIP auditorium at this location, and it has TWO giant scratches on it, noticeable from every seat in the house. Not to mention the dumb green exit sign that has always been visible through the screen, which is just as baffling as it's always been. Pretty unacceptable standard of experience, dictated from the very top. The hard-working entry level employees have no control over that (just like they have no control over being over-worked, under-paid, and under-staffed WOOPS).

Google
This has been my go to theater, but sadly I’m going to have to move on. The restrooms were so gross & you can clearly see the toilet water grime built up on the floor and stalls. Was there for the Wicked double feature and the theater had to be like 78 degrees. No joke that I actually felt like I couldn’t breath. Lastly, the food tasted spoiled & had to be tossed. They need to bring in a professional cleaning service & sanitize everything. I do like their coke remix machines & butter dispensers though.

Google
Great drinks, I usually go to the matinee to save a little money and it's less crowded. Friendly bartenders and counter help, good popcorn and a huge selection of Coca Cola Freestyle drinks. I have not tried much of the food but they have the usual theater fare. Also the Food Court is right upstairs in the mall.

Google
Great theater in the Barton Creek Mall. It's right next to the Cheesecake Factory which makes for an easy dinner and a movie. They also have a bar inside if you're looking for a cocktail after your meal. They've got a good number of theaters with IMAX and Dolby enhanced options. The non-imax theaters have their nice recliner chairs which makes for a more comfortable movie.

Google
Regal Theatre's are much better than AMC. As a person who worked in the service industry for a decade it’s clear this theatre is not being maintained. The soda machines haven't been cleaned in a long time and the popcorn was stale. The bathrooms are disgusting. One would assume a theatre located in a high traffic mall would be better maintained but it’s not. Also they shoved so many seats into the theatre that you can’t go to the bathroom without everyone putting down their leg rests. It’s incredibly clear AMC only cares about lining the pockets of executives rather than updating and maintaining their product. In short Regal may have smaller theatre’s but they are superior and provide a better viewing experience.

Yelp
I'm not sure why this theater has low reviews. I've been here several times in the past few months and have no complaints. The people working there have been friendly every time. The theater was clean. The recliners all worked and were comfy. It's nice to have a neighborhood theater. There's also a Cheesecake Factory next door in the mall if you want to grab a bite before or after. The mall also has a food court. The theater itself has a bar as well as the usual movie snacks. The bathrooms were fine. They aren't the cleanest but no complaints. They have all the new releases and even ran Demon Slayer for a while after other theaters stopped.

Yelp
I've been coming to this theater my whole life and honestly, it's not great but it's not bad - hence a solid 4/5 stars. It's pretty easy to buy tickets online and it's quick to go through/find your theater since it isn't big. I just saw a movie recently and noted they have the nice electric recliners which is good! Of course mine had a hole where my left elbow goes so it was a little annoying but otherwise the chairs are nice. The display is your standard theater; I think they have imax options too but I've never seen a movie in one of those. Overall this is a decent theater!

Yelp
We just got home after watching "Weapons" at the IMAX here, and felt like we had to make a couple of comments. We love the location, close to home, and near some good places for dinner. Plenty of parking, although the mall was extremely busy tonight and it was a bit of a hike, but not a big deal. This was our first time in this theater, since we usually go to Westgate or just watch movies at home. I wouldn't really call this an IMAX, but more of a slightly larger than normal movie screen. Normal width, maybe a bit taller, but laughable to call it that. As soon as you walk in the doors it's apparent that they don't spend much time cleaning. The railing's sticky, the ceiling tiles look like they've got water damage and it just smells like an abused old room. Just a funky vibe. Seats are really uncomfortable, it was brutal sitting through a 2 hour movie. Our biggest complaint would be the sub zero degree air blowing straight down on the seats from above. We froze our asses off. My wife brought a sweater just in case, and she still couldn't keep warm. Lots of people came in with blankets, so they must have known what to expect. Will amend this review for more complaints if we get sick. So much potential at this location, we're hoping management decides to wake up.

Yelp
Skip it for IMAX movies, the screen is half the size of others at just 45x25. It's the smallest "IMAX" screen in Texas. Found out too late that cinephiles call this "LieMAX". Stayed for the movie, but never again.
google avatar

Yelp
A little old and outdated but overall a good theater that played our movie. We didn't order any concessions so can't speak to that. It was a later movie so the employees weren't overly friendly and seemed to just be chilling with friends. Pretty empty and the big fluorescent overhead lights were left on in the theater so someone had to notify an employee to turn them off during previews.

Yelp
Hello everyone I am vision and pain sometimes the audio description work and sometime it doesn't so foreign it has been working pretty good most time it will start working and then it will cut out the all of y'all description for the blind and vision in pair need to be more updated. That might be helpful.

Yelp
Don't waste your time here. It's filthy, they have a bar but no one works there/. They will ask you to wait for their employees "breaks" to end before they serve you . This is a dying theatre trying to g to keep up with the new theatre experience. Don't waste your time.

Yelp
A few issues: - We watched Kiki's Delivery Service during Ghibli Week. While we got the tickets for the subtitled version, we got the dubbed. Which is totally a letdown, since that was the whole point of why we went. People in the theater were shocked. I let the staff know and they were like "really? okay." What kind of customer service was that? I don't need a refund or anything, just some accountability would be great. They made me so confused and actually questioned myself if I was in the wrong (wrong theater, wrong tickets)? but no, I double-checked. - Yes, it was dirty, and pretty stinky too. Make sure you bring your blankets y'all, pretty chilly in there after a while. No high expectations here.

Yelp
Saw Gladiator II on IMAX while in Austin for the Thanksgiving holiday. It was packed, of course. Lines were long, of course. The only reason I'm giving this business 4 out 5 stars is because of how filthy it was. The floors were completely littered with trash--in the main entrance area AND in the theater itself. Other than that, no other issues.

Yelp
This was the only theater showing Bob Trevino Likes This at a time I could make. This is not close to my house, but it was worth the drive. This AMC is attached to the mall so there's a giant parking lot that was pretty full. The theater itself is clean and spacious, and the staff is all really nice. They move quick too, there was a line, but the handled orders swiftly. This spot has one of those fancy fountain drink machines where you can mix it up and add flavors to your soft drink. Even better than that, is that this movie theater has Impossible Chicken Nuggets! You get to pick your sauce when you order. I went with the classic BBQ. They were so good! I would totally come back here just to eat those while watching a movie again. I will also admit that I finished them before the movie even started. The seats are comfy, the sound system works great, and the movie was clear. Also, go see Bob Trevino Likes This if you want an emotional roller coaster of a film.

Yelp
I have to admit there's a lot of good things I could say about this theater location. For one thing it sits literally just across the hall from the cheesecake factory in Barton Creek mall. Inside the theater they do actually have a bar. We decided to come and see a Led Zeppelin movie, which we enjoyed. The movie time was at 4 PM. However, you have to put up with 20 minutes worth of film reviews before they get to your movie. The biggest downside of coming here are their very uncomfortable sagging seats. Sitting for two hours in that uncomfortable position guarantees I'll never set foot in here again. And if you're a heavyset person, you're really not gonna like it. To be honest, I didn't check out every single theater in the place and try out all the seats, but I can't see any reason why the seats in our theater were any different than the others. Despite some positive attributes here, it's just not worth the discomfort. Some informative photos included.

Yelp
The bathrooms were in awful shape/Johns were not flushed/Some of the doors were without locks/Out of paper to wash hands

Yelp
We watched Interstellar in iMax for the 10th year anniversary of the movies release. This was our very first time at this theater. We bought our tickets online a few days before. The concession line was pretty long. We had a pleasant experience at this theater. The IMAX here isn't as nice as the Bullock Museum IMAX. This IMAX was slightly smaller but the surround sound was still pretty nice. Parking is plentiful. This theater is attached to the mall but it has its own entrance so you don't necessarily have to go through the mall to get to it.

Kennedy B.

Yelp
It's a fairly decent AMC with friendly employees but the sort of nasty-ass drink & butter areas and anti-consumer, anti-employee, flat-out insane business practices to begin with. But CONSTANTLY the mall hosting the theater is renting out the theater's parking lot to a ridiculous little cheapo circus, and they rent out most of the area in front of the theater, which then has overflow from circus equipment trucks and circus patrons, and when you combine that with mall traffic, it makes it impossible to get to a movie sometimes. I literally had to drive home just now because I couldn't find a spot until I got to the other side of the mall, and it would've meant a 20+ minute walk from my car (in the rain), to the mall, then through HALF the mall to get to the most infamously mediocre theater in all of Austin. I did like an hour of rain driving for no reason because of this stupid ass location. I'll stick to Alamo and Regal I guess, like the rest of Austin.

Yelp
Clean cinema hall with comfortable recliner seats and multiple popcorn flavors. Also has other snack options - pretzel bites, burgers, hot dogs, pickles..

Yelp
Meh... how much do you really expect from an AMC movie theater anyway, right? I'll start with the great things: Great service! Apparently there's a bar! And the Dolby sound? Amazing! We went to see Renaissance concert film and they seemed to be either understaffed or have very slow service. While we were waiting in the concession line, someone who was walking to their movie from the bar literally said "I hope you're not going to the bar because they're slow!" So, we heeded their advice and decided to forego drinks since we were already a little late. Once we got to the front of the line, the person at our register let us know there would be a 15 minute wait for our food. I must have looked pretty pitiful because he almost immediately offered to write down our theater and seat numbers to come bring it to us. That really saved the day. He went above and beyond. I really wish I could remember his name. He made our night! The highlight of our experience was the Dolby sound in the one Dolby theater that they have. It was BOOMING and so dynamic and rich. Truly, it felt like we were at the concert in person. We could feel the bass all around us! I highly recommend you specifically check out the place if you want to see something with Dolby sound. It's worth it!

Yelp
Overpriced, outdated, and not the quality you'd expect for an imax theater. We walked in and thought we were in the wrong place because it looked like a regular theater with a slightly bigger screen. It looks like it's still 2003 in there and the seats had rips in them. Went to see the newest Marvel movie and were disappointed immediately.
google avatar

Henry C.

Yelp
Torn seats, a sound system that sounds like a 1990s car stereo, stale popcorn, butter machine broken, and no pre-movie trivia or fun movie facts, just commercials. This place is far from a premier movie theater.

James N.

Yelp
Saw F1 last night - the movie theatre stinks so bad. like mold and old socks. the IMAX theatre is begging to be updated, the seats are absolutely terrible and absolutely no spacing. Very surprised AMC has a theater in this condition.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
I like the curved theater screen but the seats are SO uncomfortable. Throughout the entire movie I had to adjust every 5-10 minutes. It was hard to enjoy the movie because I couldn't find a comfortable position. I could tell the person behind me was having an issue too because their foot kept hitting the back of my chair every time they had to adjust. We didn't purchase any food or drinks so I can't review the snacks.
google avatar

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
I love it that they have reclining seats... the theater looked clean but 3D was a bit overpriced, though we happily paid for it because Avatar should only be watched in 3D. The restrooms were really dirty though and 2 of the 3 sinks didn't work so all 10 stalls (give or take) had to share one. I honestly wouldn't be in a hurry to go back.

Yelp
Your experience here will really depend on how frequently you find yourself at the movies. I have AMC A-List and find myself going a 2-3 times a month and find that this theater checks most of the boxes I'd look for, but really does nothing spectacular. If you're the type of person who only sees a small number of movies per year and looks to make that a special occasion, this theater probably isn't for you. In terms of food and overall experience this is the store brand whereas an Alamo or other similar option make for that special night out type of experience. I would dock my rating to 2 or 3 stars if I was grading this theater on that experience Of the 3 AMCs in Austin this theater has the widest array of releases and the most screens. While it does have "IMAX" it's not the true experience you would get at Bullock, so don't waste whatever the extra cost is. The audio/visual difference is so minimal vs their standard theater that I'd rather stick with the latter so I can at least get the reclining seats. This theater, along with the Tech Ridge AMC, have Dolby theaters that provide a more noticable improvement in quality over the standard option. I'll go for that when available since it's a free add on with A-List, but I don't personally think it's worth the extra couple of dollars. I've had some friends rave about the increase in quality, so your mileage my vary. I really like that this theater has a wider variety of showtimes compared to the other 2 AMCs, but the volume of earlier showtimes will vary throughout the year. There's one or two smaller theaters where the seat quality has noticably dipped, if you're going to the right upon entering it's more likely to be the case, but overall I've found that and the cleanliness to be up to par. Overall I think this is probably the best AMC experience you'll have in Austin if you're a volume shooter and live on the South side of the bridge. As someone who lives in North Central Austin I find myself at Tech Ridge more often and don't notice a huge difference in quality. However I do find myself here every so often since a lot of smaller releases only make it to Barton Creek

Yelp
This place is unbelievably dirty. Filthy bathroom that smelled like urine. It looked like a public bathroom at a truck stop in mid America. The counters were sticky and greasy. The soda fountain was for sure laden in bacteria. I only ordered a pickle bc it was so dirty at the snack bar but I WOULD NOT trust the popcorn or prepared food and for sure NOT THE ICE. They are no doubt NOT cleaning anything at this place. The trash cans are over flowing with trash. This place needa better management and to pay people a better wage so they care about the place. Plus, maybe you'll attract more than just a teen. Also, no one was cleaning obviously. I can't even think about how dirty the seats in the theatre are. This place is gross. They should be ashamed of themselves.
google avatar

Linnea F.

Yelp
I have never been to such a dirty theater. Trash left on the seats, trash on the floor, countertops for the Coke machines completely covered in spilled drinks, bathroom floor full of trash, lobby had visible crumbs and sticky substance on the floor. Aside from that, I did appreciate the reclining seats--very comfortable. Easy to book tickets online. But I won't be back.
google avatar

Julia A.

Yelp
Completely appalling. Dirty theater. Won't be back. I've never experienced anything like it. My friends and I had bought 9 tickets to come see a movie. The theatre was pitch black before the previews and as we made our way in the dark, up the stairs, to find our seats we were appalled to find them covered by popcorn, old Starbucks cups, and snot paper, all over our seats. No cleaning in between movies. As we reported this to the service desk, one kind employee rushed to make an attempt to clean up in the dark with a tiny flashlight as previews began, while we patiently had to wait on the sidelines until he was "done" and we got to sit down among the leftover trash. Customer service never took responsibility for this poor experience.

Katherine J.

Yelp
First time coming to this movie theater and had us wait over 30 min for food serving other people food that ordered after us. We had to tell them to put our food in, in order for them to even start it. Terrible customer service needs improvement.
google avatar

Ali R.

Yelp
We will not be returning. Dirty cinemas. Dirty bathrooms. Torn seats. Recliners not working. Incompetent staff.
google avatar

Holly O.

Yelp
This poor theatre is trashed. I'm disappointed because I'm a huge Bowie fan and this is the only theater the last 2 Bowie movies have played. They are understaffed and the staff that are there seem royally unhappy. The last several times I've been, there bar has been closed. The regular concessions are in need of restocking and there was popcorn literally all over the floor in the lobby. The theater itself does not seem likes it's being cleaned. I'm sorry to report this place is in bad shape.
google avatar

Polina W.

Yelp
I definitely understand the low rating for this cinema. I only came here because I was already in the neighborhood (very rare circumstance) and the movie and time fit my kids-free schedule of the day. The best thing here were the reclining seats - a must 36 weeks into your pregnancy during a 2 hour movie! We walked into a few minutes before previews were to start and it was obvious the place was not cleaned. The bathrooms were dirty the entire time we were there - and I was in them a lot. We bought our tickets ahead of time, so getting in was easy. This place definitely does not have any wow factor to it.
google avatar

Dani B.

Yelp
We came to the theater on Sunday to watch a movie. We bought the tickets online and I did like that they show you the discount you are receiving when purchasing but did not enjoy the fee that came with it. We got to the theater around 9A since we were there for a 9:45A movie. Working the ticket machine was hard to operate and I can't tell if I have reached that age where I don't necessarily understand technology. I did show the QR Code and that helped. They seemed out of almost everything except popcorn and drinks so that's what we had. I did ask if they had coffee and they do but they were also out. While walking to our theater there were bags of trash all over the place. I have never been in a theater like that. When we were seated waiting for the movie to begin I noticed the pleather was ripping on some of the seats and there was still some trash from the previous showing the night before. Everything playing before the movie was entirely too loud and it took them a minute to adjust it or I may have just blanked out and didn't notice. It has been a while since I have even been to this theater, the last time we were here was for Lego Batman and they was a delay due to no one showing up for showing and having to wait outside the theater for like 2hrs. But that was then and this is now.

Yelp
We visited AMC Barton Creek Square 14 yesterday, August 6, 2023 to watch Barbie. The moment we stepped towards the facility's entrance doors, we noticed how filthy the doors appeared. The glass has smudges of gunk and grime everywhere--on ALL the doors. We approached the concession stand to find the counter displays locked up and not accessible, the candy racks were 75% empty and items that were available were in disarray. We paid for drinks and large popcorns. As we tried to fill our cups, we found EVERY Coke machine grimy beyond belief. Sticky, smudges all over the screens. We hesitated to fill the cups because we wondered how filthy the interior dispensers could be if the exterior looked so disgusting. But, while holding a napkin, I navigated the screen and made a selection. Trying to collect lids and straws was even worse. The GRIME was thick and all over the lid station doors, on all 4 of the lid selections, and countertop. Dirt, spills, dropped popcorn, trash, fingerprints and grime EVERYWHERE. Additionally, the floor was so STICKY that our shoes made noise as we walked and even stuck to the carpet for a few steps as we left the rubber/linoleum floor. The entire floor area in front of the drinks stations and even the butter stations was disgustingly sticky and dirty. The stickiness was not due to one drink being spilled, but felt like the floors hadn't been washed in months, much like the glass entrance/exit doors. The women's restroom was absolutely horrendous. MANY (not just one or two) stalls didn't even have toilet paper. The floors were littered. The other 5 or 6 patrons there with me were having to rip paper towels from the ROLL SET ON THE COUNTER to use as toilet paper. The sinks were filthy and the amount of dirt and grime on the main door handle looked like a breeding ground for bacteria. As we walked out, the trash receptacles were OVERFLOWING with trash--a ridiculous amount of trash. Unless the biohazard in the bathroom and the slime, dirt, grubbiness and trash aren't resolved, we won't return. Instead, we'll drive 25-min to iPic at The Domain, pay more for tickets, knowing the facility is spotless, clean and managed by people who care about their customers, rather than returning to AMC.

Yelp
Well back in the theaters FINALLY and we decided to see Top Gun Maverick IMAX style. We had a gift card so that was a bonus. Who knew that two tickets to see a movie were going to be $35 but it was worth it to see this movie in IMAX and surround-sound. The young lady at the concession stand was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and the theater was clean as well. A little bit of a sticky floor under my seat but it's a movie theater right? Things get spilled all the time. Overall, I would go here again just for the convenience of running into Nordstroms after the movie. Go see Top Gun Maverick! If you loved the first TG you won't be disappointed in this sequel.

Yelp
This place is gross, it's in much need of Love attention and refurbishment. They don't have very good service because of low staff so don't expect to get a beverage at the bar and okay with standing in line to get any type of snack. everything in there smells like old wet rag. The seats online depicted are very deceiving so don't expect anything wonderful. The chairs need to be upgraded as well as most movie theaters have made guest comfort a priority. There are other movie theaters to go to so unless this is the last one that has the movie you need to see please find another location. We went to use the IMAX and it was ok, but the seats kill it. Needless to say I will not be going back.

Andrew R.

Yelp
After waiting an hour past the start time, our movie was cancelled. The refund line was 45 minutes long. I got to the front only to be told that because my ticket was purchased through Fandango, that the theater could not refund me. Fandango said that since the screening was cancelled after the start time, the refund had to come from the theater. The one person who was giving us updates did as much as he could with a thankless job. The management here is atrocious. At no point did anyone above a ticket taker make any announcements about the status of the screening. If this manager can't handle a movie theater, then I don't know what other prospects they have in life.
google avatar

Spencer B.

Yelp
I'd give any movie theater 4 stars if it can meet the bare minimum of: selling popcorn and showing the movie. AMC Barton Creek did neither. The popcorn machine was broken. We sat for over an hour past showtime, waiting for the movie to start and they finally told us the showing was canceled. The IMAX theater was filthy and smelled like a locker room. The line for ticket refunds was down the hallway, so we skipped it and went home. I will never go back to this theater again. The kid who had to handle the crowd was patient and professional. Everything else sucked.

Yelp
Temperature and volume were perfect. Recliners are comfortable and spacious. I got the large popcorn with two flavors of my choice: half caramel and half Oreos. Both were delicious but I'm an Oreo freak and was surprised at the amount of crushed Oreos in my bucket. Spectacular!

Yelp
Yeah, 2 stars seems about right - maybe 3. It's sad to see AMC come to this. The ladies bathroom was broken and flooding. The taps in the sink wasn't working. Outside our theater hall, there was popcorn on the floor everywhere. The recliner seats were comfortable but the AC was on too high.

Yelp
Last night I had the chance of going to a movie theatre to watch F9. This theatre was top notch before the pandemic in all areas they have not recovered that well. There was popcorn everywhere the seats were not clean. Granted I hadn't been there in a while I expected so much more and I'm not sure what happened. The movie experience was not like it used to be, I felt congested and the theatre was not crowded.

Yelp
Just got back from watching Avatar 2 in IMAX. The auditorium still has the old seats without the recliners. The men's bathroom neae auditorium 1 was out of soap before the movie started. I told the ticket bootj about the situation. After the movie which isn3 hours, there was still no soap. I understand that you guys are short staffed but come on. Lots of guys are leaving the bathroom without soap and that's a nasty sanitary violation. Plus, you had three hours. While it's true that you guys could have been confused for the other restroom but you've checked the other restrooms too? The only reason I am leaving 3 stars is that I am being lenient and had better experiences prior to this review. Please don't let us down.

Yelp
Ok this place sucks right?? Right. We know that. That's not news. Whatever. What I'm pissed abt is that they refused to hire me. Like what? Like don't tell me you are too good for me wtf? Like we all know you suck so like what's the worst that can happen? I suck too?? Fucking fire me then. Anyway, I was too good for amc theaters. They can EAT SHIT.

Yelp
This is the only theatre near us with IMAX option. I dread coming here since it's outdated and never really clean. The staff is nice, but with the recent IMAX experience I might not come back. The chairs are run down, and mine which I selected was broken (K10 in the IMAX one) to the point of the seat hanging down lower so I had to adjust every couple of minutes since I was sliding out of the chair. My back hurt for the two and a half hour movie. I really hope they do some upgrades for the seats soon. Their normal theaters the seats are pleather and often have rips in them. It's just not a great place to go anymore, why also only have one IMAX section?

Yelp
Went to see Avatar: The Way of Water in RealD 3D. Overall good movie, but bad experience. One of my friends developed a fairly strong headache from the 3D glasses provided from squeezing too hard on his temples, so he had to wear it at an off angle for the remainder of the movie...or so we thought. Part way through the movie, the 3D stopped functioning properly and when wearing the 3D glasses, the movie had severe screen blur and saturation patches, completely destroying any immersive experience that was to be experienced. This proceeded for about 10-15 minutes until the devised solution was "well, turn it into a normal movie." So we had to watch the remainder of the movie, while totally fine, without the 3D capabilities. No note from management or service members after the movie about the error or their solution. I would just recommend to either not watch a movie in 3D and honestly take your business elsewhere as this a uniquely terrible experience for myself and my friends who had planned this night for weeks in advance. Movies cost too much these days for this to be the end result of a night out.

Yelp
By far the dirtiest theater I've ever been to. My shoes were sticking to the ground. The girls working at the food station wouldn't even make eye contact when we were trying to get food they just stood there staring at the ground.

Yelp
Movies are well chosen. Chairs are comfortable but my daughter's chair didn't work. Carpets are dirty. Pop corn is delicious. That's why I will give it three stars.

Yelp
This used to be my go-to theatre but the experience has gone downhill in the past year or so. It always seems to be dirty -- from the restrooms to the lobby to several of the theaters. The experience at the concession stand is always a toss up because they are always out of things -- whether it's a lack of hot dogs, nachos, candy, popcorn, or anything else, there is no guarantee you'll get the full concession experience when you arrive. Staff aren't super welcoming or friendly either. Given how expensive a trip to the movies is now-a-days, proceed with caution or perhaps try another theatre.

Yelp
We purchased our tickets and concessions through the app. When we went to the concession stand to pick up our snacks, they weren't there. A lackluster employee inquired what we ordered, we gave them our order and said "Yeah, I can do that". The popcorn was not hot and not the good AMC popcorn you usually get. One of the soda machines did not have half of the options. The other soda machine dispensed hardly carbonated soda. Once in our seats, one of the chairs did not recline. The family and women's restrooms smelled of old urine. What happened? AMC used to be nice.

Yelp
First time back in a theater since February 2020, what a disappointment and how much I do not miss theaters. The reclining seats are weirdly narrow compared to nicer theaters, the recliners were broken, 5/10 on the top row of theater 4, so I couldn't even have my feet up :( I could live with this, but then the movie just shut off when there was half an hour left. They just forgot about us until we sent our friends to go ask someone to turn it back on. After the movie I used the single bathroom which had actual feces just on the floor. What a waste of money and time.

Yelp
The worst managed movie Theater I have ever been to in my entire life and I go to the movies every single week. I hardly ever post a bad review, but this has gone on for a year.... eight times out of 10 I had to talk to a manager or had to complain about something, I've never had to do that ever in the past, at any movie theater. It's 9:00 on a Saturday night and there is no one there to scan my tickets, the line was super long and slow for concession and only one person was working behind the counter. There was no popcorn, and the jalapeños weren't prepped in containers so had to wait.
