I appreciated being able to get tickets and order snacks ahead of time. Movie prices are a little high, especially with added convenience fees online. When we arrived, our selected seats were covered in popcorn and schmutz from previous movie goers, so that was less that pleasant. The theater sound was excellent. Seating good.

We visited Boston last week and watched the new Minecraft movie at the AMC Boston Common 19. The staff were amazing. We had multiple gift cards to use and we were having trouble with the kiosks. The worker, Joe, had the best sense of humor and he went above and beyond to help us. Our teens were being picky about seating at first until Joe mentioned two seats were "exotic and very popular." We got such a laugh because our teens immediately wanted those two seats. The facility was MASSIVE - we are from a small town with minimal movie theatres nearby and we have never been to such a big movie theater. The building itself was beautiful - there were tons of cool lights, quotes on the wall/ceiling and it gave such a vibe. We chose to try the dolby cinema and it did not disappoint. We kept looking over our shoulders because the movie sounds were coming from so many different speakers that at times it sounded like a character was talking right behind you. The seats were comfortable and they had a large variety of snacks and drinks to choose from. We had two almost 15 yo boys and 1 almost 9 yo boy. Our youngest's birthday was this past Friday, 4/18, and being able to see the Minecraft movie at such a cool place was so exciting for him. He keeps talking about it. We really enjoyed the experience and thank you so much to Joe and the female staff that assisted us!

It was overall a letdown. First, we were subject to nearly half an hour or ads. I find this unacceptable. Nearly 25 minutes. Screen 10 was not nice at all. The seats were old and making sounds. We had to move.

So I run successful businesses for a living and also consult. This is a perfect example of how not to run a business. I went on New Years eve. Huge Crowds and gigantic potential to serve plenty of overpriced popcorn and concessions to a captive audience wanting and waiting. A massive line of people lined up to buy over priced popcorn and drinks and only 3 people to serve. My calculation, It was at least an hour wait minimum. We gave up and decided to just skip the concessions. Then, Were craving some popcorn, so decided to try again a half hour later after the movie started. Still a huge line wrapping all the way into the theater area. Gave up. We decided to do one more try, I went back as the manager, announced, the concession stand is closed to a huge line waiting to buy! Obviously he has no skin in the finances of the place, or could care less. Just a little movie theater 101 since I have managed and operated theaters of the years. The main event in a movie theater is selling concessions. That is where the money is. For sure at least $20,000 was lost possibly a lot more. Most didn't even bother with a line that long. Just think about how much lost revenue could go to the neglected maintenance as mentioned in many of the other reviews? Not a wonder AMC and other theaters are in trouble, stock crashing and theaters closing.

I don’t even leave reviews normally but feel like I have to. We showed up at 6:30 for a 7:15 movie. We got our snacks and then were told to wait for a long time until they could start cleaning the theater. The current time is 7:23 and they just let everyone into the theater …..not sure what they were cleaning though. See photo And then I thought it could get better because we are all our popcorn while waiting forever so I went to get a free refill. Well the escalator apparently broke and all patrons had to take the elevator and the line was 150 people deep to get upstairs. The seats were also so uncomfortable. I’m not sure why I paid $100 for my family of 4 to come to this ….

Went for the strangers things season 5 finale and the limited staff were very overwhelmed. Most of the candy stock was completely picked through and many food options were out of stock. Your business is literally 2 things, playing movies and selling concessions. You cant be bad at 50% of your business model. To the staff's credit, all staff members i interacted with were very nic.Clearly management did not prepare staffing for this type of event. We spent over 25min in line waiting for concessions which is ridiculous.

I can’t understand why there are decent reviews here. This theater is revolting. It is so desperate for a renovation that it seems they are waiting till the last possible moment to fix the myriad things that are wrong. I wonder if this is a sign that AMC is on its way out. I really don’t know where to start: the septic smells, the grimy floors, the greasy seats, the peeling art on the walls. The building is so neglected. When I watch scary movies, I sometimes feel the theater is more horrifying. It is shameful that the people of Boston have to endure this. What is the holdup for fixing the floor and the seats? If movie theaters are going to survive, I urge everyone to support their local independent movie houses. At least there you won’t have to sit through 40 minutes of advertising and previews.

Second visit to this theatre. I love how large each theatre is, makes the viewing experience feel epic; as the screen is huge no matter where you sit. The theatre itself seems to be staffed by a skeleton crew. At least it seemed this way during my visit, just one person to check you in and one person at concessions. Lines moved quickly despite this. I have a list and saw two movies during my visit. The employee would not let me check in for both at the same time. Meaning I had to see my first movie, leave my snacks at the concession stand, and then hurry to take an elevator to the lobby to check in. The down escalator was not working and you had to either take the elevator or walk down the emergency stairs. I do really enjoy this theatre. It's grand in scale and very quiet.

It is a Nasty establishment....I live downtown Boston and when it first opened I would go all the time ...but my last time which was recently...the bathrooms were just filthy and the carpet was the same carpet that was installed when it first opened...It needs a total renovation...also i saw rodent which made it all the Worst!! Either get a new manager or get better employees who care about the theater..I have been to your other establishments and they are far Superior! Why???

An old school theater in Boston. Has fun nostalgic decor and all your wants and needs from a theater. Due to it being more original, there's no recliner seats just fyi...at least the specific theater I was in. They have concessions, popcorn was good! Would come back here for the vibes and when in the area.

AMC Boston Common 19 is one of the older movie theaters. It was one of my favorite locations to go to, growing up, because it was much bigger than all the ones that were closer by to me! Now, it looks a bit dated inside. Still ginormous inside though. The seats are older, and ruffed up for sure. You won't find recliner seats here, not that I have at least. I do enjoy going here to catch a movie when I'm in the city! Nowadays, I prefer just driving down to South Bay AMC instead because the parking situation in this area is horrendous, however, if I'm nearby & traveling via train, this is not a bad location to go to! Never experienced anything bad really. I'd say, the only actual downside is finding parking, unless it's Sunday, when parking is free in the city.

I just called to ask about a refund for a movie that was canceled and the associate was unhelpful (maybe his first day he seemed confused I was even asking about a movie) then said he would transfer me to a manager then hung up. I used a voucher to purchase my tickets and those were not refunded so employees should be knowledgable on resolving this issue or at least not hang up on people.

Very nice theater! Soda is very expensive which isn't surprising. My real complaint is that the seats are older and there isn't a lot of leg room. The gentleman behind me was tall and I could feel his knees in the back of my chair. Also, the seats don't recline.

Plush rocker seats= too cheap to upgrade to recliners Laser at AMC = smallest screen possible. Smallest size soda and popcorn = $20 The movies used to be fun. Edit during movie: it's been great listening to the movie next door while trying to watch a more quiet film in my theater

I was here today with my kids for a 4:15 show and the manager was extremely rude! He would not let me bring a small crate rolling cart upstairs in theater that had my bag in it! I asked if could just leave the cart but take my tote bag with me up and he said NO in a rude tone and said I'll issue you a refund! My kids were extremely sad and a whole bunch of other people went up with bags! I don't understand why we were targeted but his costumer service was horrible! Also, he didn't even give me my entire refund back! I believe his name was TJ. He needs to do bette!

It's nice to go to the movie theater and enjoy that collective experience! This theater is huge with many screens and has been around for a long time. We went to watch the new studio Ghibli movie Boy and the heron last weekend on MLK day Monday. Amazingly got lucky and found a free metered street parking at the nick of time! Walked across the Boston common and got to the theatre just in time before the movie start. Overall good experience.

Nice AMC movie theaters in Boston! Nice staff and they have there entire menu for food. The prices are the same as all the other AMC's theaters I have been too (pretty penny for popcorn and a soda). Still recommend if you love the movies. (:

The most convenient mainstream movie theater for me but man if you don't need to be on your toes to go there given the area

AMC Boston Common 19 is a huge theater. The first floor has Auditorium 1 and Auditorium 2. All the other auditoriums are upstairs. It was easy to reserve the tickets online. There are also kiosks once you walk into the theater to purchase tickets as well. The lobby is very spacious. I went on 12/10/2023 at 3:30pm to see Waitress: The Musical. For a short period of time, AMC theaters were bringing the Tony-nominated Broadway phenomenon to the big screen. My friends and I enjoyed and seen Waitress on Broadway so we definitely wanted to take advantage of this opportunity. The seats didn't recline like other AMC theaters, but the seats were in okay condition. At one point during the movie, someone pushed the emergency exit door on the left of the screen and the alarm didn't go off. A security guard came soon after to check out the emergency exit. I am not sure what was going on but the movie continued to play. The concessions were all upstairs. The bathrooms were clean. The sound was good and clear.

The theater was not clean at all. The seats are NASTY. There was little to no concession stand for theaters 1/2. Awful.

This is your typical movie theater in a big city. It was a rainy Sunday after a brunch at the Friendly Toast. We were looking for something fun to do indoors and wanted to check out Shang-Chi. This must have been the main thing to do on a Sunday because the theater was packed. I was not initially prepared to be in a packed theater with people but I went ahead anyways. By the end of the movie, I realized how much I missed seeing great blockbuster hits on opening weekend with a great crowd reaction. The movie aside the overall experience was great. I enjoyed the kiosks present on the first floor to let you purchase your own ticket. Shang-Chi had an option to watch with Mandarin subtitles which I did not realize. I was confused at first but it didn't bother me. The concession line was long so I skipped it to make it to the movie in time. Overall, great option to watch a movie in Boston. The only thing that would make this better would be reclining seats.

Theater 12 today smelled like we were living in an ashtray. It was really hard to enjoy the movie with the stench. It felt like a lot of cigarettes had been smoked in there. The toilet outside the theater had an issue where water was running fast and noisy and unable to be stopped. It was so environmentally wasteful but also very noisy. I wouldn't go back. It was so unpleasant sitting there.

I was here last May to catch a matinee showing of Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. I purchased my ticket on the mobile app, but the movie theater lobby was not opened until about 30 minutes before the start of the movie. The movie theater was pretty clean, but the seats were the older, smaller, non-reclining seats. I might be a bit spoiled, but I almost expect every AMC movie theater to have those big, comfy, lounging recliners. The picture and sound quality was good. The restrooms were kept pretty clean.

Pre-Pandemic this place was the movie theatre go to when you were bored at home and wanted to see a film. Last week I went to the theater with my friend to see Ghost Rite Here Rite now. Soon I walked into the lobby a weird sewage odor filled the lobby and the place was so dark. I guess they got rid of usher and replaced them self service machine. The theatre my friend and I was in wasn't that bad, but concession stand looked horrible. The worse part was the broken escalator going down people had to walk down and I felt bad for my friend who has a bad knee. It is not worth the 18.00 I spent as this theatre opposed to the 12.00 I spent going to Alamo theatre got better services

Super cool movie theatre! The entrance lobby area has all the kiosks available so that you can purchase your ticket. Adult tickets are almost $16.. wow hehe. We decided to watch the grudge. Bought our tickets and headed upstairs. The upstairs is where the concessions stands and theaters are located. Wow the concessions line was huge! It was like a party upppp here. We decided to skip the line and just go without snacks. We're so used to the reclining seats in az so it was weird to see they still had the old fashioned seats. It was still pretty comfy though. The movie was a no but the theater experience was fairly good. The bathrooms were a little wrecked and paper was overflowing from the bins.. actually all the trash cans were like this. Even the ones in the hallway.

I have Been coming here since my high school days. The cinema has 19 screens can sit 4500 people. I enjoy a good movie on a rainy day the customer service is great overall. They have a bar in the second floor get tipsy while watching the movie. The snacks are kinda pricey but hey they have to profit some how. I recommend this cinema and right across the street you have the Boston commons walk around and enjoy the view and park. 4 stars as they have not fully upgraded every screen room with those comfy seats only if you are watching in 3D

This theater is always clean and has so many movies. It has two floors that concession stand is well stocked. The people are friendly lines move quickly. I enjoyed myself completely.

Date of Visit: 8/30/21 Our flight back home from Boston was delayed, giving us a little more time in Beantown and this little ditty was just ten minutes away from our hotel where our luggage was stashed. The hallway outside of the IMAX has posters of movies set in Boston, which I think was a very clever touch. We were able to catch a screening of Free Guy on the IMAX, and the experience was solid all around, though I would not recommend sitting anywhere but the middle as the side aisles have a large railing that will totally obscure your view of the screen. Staff interaction was minimal but nothing to complain about and I am still puzzled as to why the nicest screen in the theatre still has older-style, non-reclining seats.

The place was pretty packed but the lines move quickly (this is considering we went during the release of the new Spider man movie). If you order concessions ahead be sure to double check your order - mine had missing items The seating was preselected when you buy tickets which was great to assure we could be seated where we wanted. The seats are average though no reclining or additional options like that but they're comfortable nonetheless. I know it was a busy release weekend however, we had tickets to a real 3d Spider man movie and were met with a screening that was not working and blurry for the first 5 minutes or so even with the real 3d glasses on or off. Plenty of people started getting up and complaining to staff so they started it over properly but then the lights were also on in the auditorium like halfway through the film. A lot of details that kind of ruined the ambiance and experience of watching a movie in theaters.

Burned popcorn, whenever I come here the snack bar is always a mess (no one's fault bc it's probably understaffed), but just not as enjoyable a movie experience as other theaters in the area.

There's nothing wrong with this place. It's very nice. But there are all these weird movies and none of the normal ones. Also would it kill then to make a movie according to the Hays Code every once in a while? Ye 2024

went to imax 3D was not working they offered passes the passes don't work .. not the first this has happened . its waste of money that they offer passes rather than money back

This review mainly concerns the screens at the theater, for people who are looking for premium formats! Quickly, like many movie theaters, this theater is definitely understaffed, the ground floor concessions stand is permanently closed, the escalators are sometimes out of order. Despite that, the many bathrooms are always pretty clean, as well as the theaters, and the crew is very nice. Now to the screens, there is a clear lack of premium options despite the 19 screens. Auditorium 2 is a fake 1:2.39 aspect ratio IMAX, not much larger than a standard screen at an updated theater in the suburbs. The only thing that makes this IMAX worth it is that the standard screens here are pretty tiny. The seats are also small and packed close together. There is one Dolby screen, Auditorium 14. This is easily the best screen in the building. The screen is nearly as big as the IMAX, the projector is much better, and there are recliners. All 17 other screens are standard, and small ones at that, with the same seats as the IMAX. With the recent release of Oppenheimer, it becomes pretty clear that renovating Auditoriums 1+2 to true 1:1.43 IMAXes capable of 70mm or LASER projection would make this theater, the only AMC in Boston proper, a destination for blockbuster films. In addition, upgrading at least 4 more standard screens to Dolby with recliners would also be a benefit based on the crowded Dolby screens and barren standard screens on weekdays. The extra seats are not more profitable when no one uses them! Moviegoers and casuals are a lot wiser now, and only venture out to the theater when they truly need to. Going to the theater is now a premium experience, and the screens and seats should reflect that. For now, this is my guide for this theater. First choice, Dolby. Sit in the third or fourth row from the back. Sitting towards the side doesn't matter too much. Second, IMAX. Sit towards the center. Finally, standard. Sit towards the front of the main clump of seats. I love this theater, the staff, and its location, but it hurts to sit in the IMAX or standard and see its potential being squandered due to the fact that business is probably okay when it could be great. This should be the AMC Lincoln Square of Boston, instead this theater would be barren if it wasn't the only one in the middle of the city. Maybe by the time Dune II comes out in a year the IMAX will be good! Hopefully! Yeah it won't.

I stumbled upon the theater while walking in the park around the Boston Commons area & decided to catch a movie. The movie megaplex has two levels, 19 screens with stadium seating including IMAX seats. Special amenities consist of assisted listening devices, closed captioning & descriptive video to name a few. However there are no big red comfy power recliners as more theaters are upgrading to which was slightly disappointing, especially being tagged as a megaplex. Additionally, the theater could use a good old fashion cleaning. All the employees especially the customer service & concession folks were really welcoming & helpful, so helpful, that I was able to charge my phone while I waited for my movie to start. Pricewise, the $16 ticket to see a non-blockbuster movie wasn't really worth it, yet to try a new theater for the 1st time & receive friendly patron service, balanced it out.

It's not that this my go-to place whenever I just wanna chill but it was too cold to be walking around Chinatown that night. So I decided to just watch a movie that I didn't even finish at this location since is the closest one to Chinatown and I was in the area. I pretty much saw all the movies out that night. So I decided to just pick this chill one and I wasn't able to finish the movie I watched but it's fine. I was just killing time while waiting for my boyfriend to get out of work. Less than. Half way of the movie he got out so. I met him somewhere close to government center. I like this location of amc since it's really convenient. It's in the middle of Boston and you can just walk around close by restaurants in the area and some of them close late too. It also has a bar that you can get some drink while watching the movie and get lit!! Lol seats doesn't recline but it's fine. It's not a big deal for me. It's not perfect but you'll still enjoy watching your movie

What happens when you don't know what to do while in Boston when the sun goes down and you are an AMC stubs member? You go to the movies alone! And that's exactly what I did last week. This massive movie theatre was located right down the street from my hotel and boasted quite possibly the biggest walkway and largest theater I've ever been too. It took approximately 8 minutes from entrance to theater because of how large the place actually was. The staff I dealt with were friendly enough and the building itself was pretty nice. The food area had plenty of lines and the same general movie theater options you would expect. Why am I only giving it 3 stars? Because In 2019 every single movie theater should have recliner seats and nothing is worse (movie theater wise) then finding out you have to spend 2 1/2 hours sitting in the extremely uncomfortable old school style seats that this movie theater boasts. That's my entire review pretty much. You have a great building with horrible seats, but if this is the only option you have while in Boston, it'll do.

COVID Edition: There is NO concessions stand, so eat/drink prior to arriving. Seats are rather small and I don't understand why other locations have recliners, but this one is still the old small chairs. Otherwise, we saw everything fine and I don't know about the seating arrangements, there weren't enough watchers to gauge the distance.

Hold out as long as you can until AMC Causeway 13 opens . Original opening for new location was early spring 2023. BC 19 location to me was ruined when LIEMAX opened in screen 2. They have a converted Dolby Cinema with leather recliners but th th that's all folks for the cinemas with any leather recliners. Location never decided to renovate when COVID happened. It's too bad. Wonder if AMC has informed the mice about the move to the new location.

we had a wonderful experience in the beginning, when the printer didn't work, an employee was very helpful in pointing out that you could print it somewhere else! who knew ?! then we took the escalators up to the theatre and proceeded to watch the most heartbreaking sorrowful, war crime of a movie, we live in time. we have been forever changed. but the experience was rudely interrupted when as soon as the credits began, an employee came and yelled at us to clean up the trash. I see where she's coming from, but in that moment it was really not the time. we needed to sit in that grief and instead we were ripped from our thoughts to be instructed to do something we were planning to do already as decent human beings.

I have a love-hate relationship with this AMC. I love that this was one of the first mega movie complexes that came to my neighborhood many, many years ago, and redefined the city movie experience. I've probably come back here several hundred times to catch movies as a bachelor, then later as a husband, with extended family, and even now as a father of three. This place is an institution in our family memories. I hate that the place still looks like it did the year they opened. It's dirty, small, needs a complete facelift, and needs to add...... SOMEthing. I mean, it doesn't share the same status as that other old family institution at Fenway Park, which boasts being the last original (and dirty) baseball stadium. Nay.... this AMC is just kinda gross. Yes, I'll keep coming back, only because I don't really have anywhere else to go in the city. Maybe they can add some better food choices or good pizza? It's Boston. They should have a proud pizza franchise or something, no?

My friend and I saw Dark Phoenix here on a Friday afternoon before our flight back home. We had some time to kill, and it was raining, so this seemed like a good spot. The interior is absolutely huge---you couldn't imagine its size until you step inside. The architecture is also fantastic, it is visually so interesting, including old movie posters, giant movie snack displays, a bar and lounge, photo opportunities with movie character cutouts, huge windows overlooking the city, and more. Just an awesome environment. We purchased tickets from the self-serve kiosk (no human interaction is nice), experienced no lines, and were easily able to find our theater up the long escalator and down an even longer wide hallway. Seats were not assigned but were still very comfortable and stadium-style. The screen itself was huge as well---they did not cut corners here! If I lived in the area, I would see movies here all the time.

Great theater. Was a nice day date with my husband. Will be going to the theater again. Only downside was the price for parking too much money. Paid double the amount of our ticket prices to pay for parking.

Seriously one of the coolest movie theaters I've been in. It's absolutely HUGE and the decor is awesome. We just came here to see Aladdin the other day and the hallways and the theater were really clean and nice. They do need to update/have a bathroom attendant though, especially since it's a movie theater in the middle of a major city. There were a few too many bathroom stalls that needed toilet paper and to be cleaned.

Over 10 years ago, AMC "Loews" Boston Common used to be the premier place to go to for movie-watching in Massachusetts. Now, it's reduced to an overpriced movie theater that is seriously lacking in seating comfort and in desperate need of renovations. I went to watch a movie in Theater 18. I'd like to rename the theater to "Theater 18-Years-of-Uncleanliness-and-Putrid-Stench". Seriously, I almost gagged because the theater stank of a horrible smell, similar to urine. The seats are uncomfortable cloth seats, which don't recline. AMC upgraded every other theater in Massachusetts to the red suede recliners, except the signature Boston Commons theater? The decor hasn't changed in ages, and the old carpet is reminiscent of a bygone age. And if you think I'm complaining for no apparent reason, I'd like to point out that I'm an AMC A-List Member, and I pay a monthly subscription! It was a mistake to give the Boston Common theater another chance, and I will not be returning again soon.

This is my go-to movie theater. It's so convenient to get to, being right next to the Bolyston T stop and a short walk from the Chinatown T stop. This AMC has friendly staff and a good selection of movies. It's somewhat annoying there isn't any food or drink available on the first floor. If you're seeing a movie on the first floor you have to go up the escalator to the 2nd floor, buy your food, then either take the elevator or escalator back down to the 1st floor. This AMC tends to be busier than some of the other local movie theaters especially for opening nights.

The lobby area feels empty and kinda gross, but it's cool that they have the theaters upstairs. I saw John Wick 4 here. The screen was smaller than I expected but I enjoyed the meeting anyway

I would rate this theater as below average. It wins points for location and ease if you're using the T, we took the orange line and it's really close to Chinatown stop. I would not try to drive here unless you're a downtown parking wizard. Theater itself was dirty, looks like it needs a serious deep cleaning and overhaul. We also had to wait in a line of about 40-50 people just to get in the theater because only one person was checking tickets while multiple people were handling a line of 10 or so to buy tickets. Ok I can get past that. Seats are too close together. I'm not exactly tall , 5'7" and when the person in front of me leaned back their chair hit my legs. Ok I'll lean on spouse. Throughout the movie there were constantly people on phones or having full on conversations. In other words if you like a traditional movie with minimal distractions, I wouldn't expect that here. Alternatively if you like having your phone out this seems acceptable here. Screen size smaller than average, large stadium style seating, flat lower level, staggered upper level. Standard concessions for AMC, popcorn, candy and coke freestyle machines. This place seems to thrive based on where it is more than how well it operates and delivers a movie going experience.

Went to the AMC Boston Common 19 on Labor Day at 4:40pm to see "Jaws" in 3-D. The employee scanning our tickets was so engrossed in her phone, she barely looked away to scan my screen. As we started going to the escalator, I noticed the bin full of 3-D glasses. I asked the employee if this was where we picked up our glasses for the movie. She didn't look away from her phone. She just said "oh. Yeah." We grabbed our own glasses from the bin and headed to the concession stand. The entire area was littered with popcorn and straw wrappers. The Icee machines were broken. As we entered the theatre, some of the other patrons asked us where we got our 3D glasses as they weren't given any. About half the theatre had to leave to go find the glasses on their own before the movie started. Once the movie ended, the employee that came in to clean the theatre waited at the end of the stairs. As you probably guessed, he too was staring at his phone. He didn't acknowledge anyone leaving. If you care a thing about customer service, this theatre will definitely disappoint. If there was a manager on duty, they obviously weren't monitoring their staff.

DON'T LET THE FLASHY EXTERIOR FOOL YOU I am incredibly frustrated by my experience with AMC. I love going to the movie theater and when my local Regal closed, I decided to buy the unlimited pass at AMC. Woefully disheartened by the lack of reclining seats at AMC in Boston Common, I hoped to cancel the membership due to lackluster and frankly outdated movie theater experience. Yet, I am locked into this for 3 months or have to pay a whopping $40 early termination fee! This is an absolute sham considering you are billing customers up the wazoo when you cannot even provide comparable nor comfortable service.

It was a great first time for experience for me. They have 19 theaters to choose from. It was awesome and the biggest movie theater that I have attended to. They also have a last selection of snacks and drinks to choose from.

As of writing this, and for the past 3 weeks, this location no longer offers order ahead food, and instead will require you to arrive 30 minutes+ to stand in line and place an order. Not that you'd really want food from here anyway... Freestyle area is disgusting, with most flavors not being available--there were zero sugar free options other than tea last time I was here, and the whole condiment area often lacks napkins, and looks like it hasn't been wiped down in 4-5 hours. Imagine what the kitchen looks like...

I love this cinema, I know many people are a fan of the renovated coaches and stuff but I prefer the seats here. The staff is really friendly and it's HUGE, there are always so many different movies playing. The electronic kiosks for buying tickets are also super convenient and there was always a staff member to help me out if I had any sorts of difficulty. The screens are huge here, and I love the Tuesdays 6 dollars deals because THAT IS MY JAM. The reason I gave four stars is because the bathroom hygiene could be improved. The doors on the stalls are often broken and many stalls are often dirty.

Convenient location, but not the most convenient theater. I end up watching a lot of movies at this theater because of its somewhat central location. It is the default compromise for groups with people both in the city and north of the river. The basics here are fine. Seats are comfortable, they play a lot of movies, audio and visual quality has always been good, etc. However, the theater always seems like it is completely understaffed, which leads to small issues like the ticket machines being constantly broken (last time I went all 8 or so were not working or out of paper) and sometimes complete chaos (the lines during the Star Wars premiere turned into a sprinting mob due to lack of staff and organization). Given how expensive regular tickets are here, guess I expect a little more. Other theaters offer a smoother experience with more amenities.

This place is so run down, no seating in the lobby, no drinks/food on the first floor, seats are really small, theater floor is sticky. I purchased the ticket through their app and got charged more than 7$ for convenience fee.

I watch a lot of movies here as it is one of the few AMCs close by. Overall, this is your standard AMC-it shows all the latest movies, has overpriced snacks/food, and is decently clean. However, I do appreciate that this location is a lot bigger than many other AMCs (it's a whole two floors!), which means they have more showings due to its numerous theaters. On my last visit, I called customer service before going there to inquire about movie vouchers I received from work. The person I talked to was very helpful and kindly answered all my questions and concerns. Pleasantly surprised to be received by such prompt and welcoming service. All in all, don't have any complaints about this place and will keep coming here to watch movies.

Ugh, this movie theater is so run down. They don't even have freshly popped popcorn. I only came here because I had an amc certificate that I had to use. Service here was ok. Seats were terrible and not cleaned. No, I don't want to sit on someone used napkins and I don't want to have to walk through popcorn to get to my seat. I highly recommend the regal movie theater in fenway!
