"I noticed a holding pen in the lobby between the escalators that lead up to the AMC 600 Michigan movie theaters where folks could sip a pint while waiting for a table." - Ashok Selvam

Google
My first time here to see the opening of the new Jurassic movie in 3D. The staff we're all friendly. You take two very long escalators up to I guess the fourth floor to enter the movie theaters. I've never been to a movie theater in a high-rise. It's very cool! One thing I really like in addition to the bar is that you can get things like Powerade, in all the flavors, which I have never seen at a cinema before. I'm not a big fan of carbonated drinks. So, this is a fantastic alternative that I really like. In addition at the bar they have quality names such as Kenwood Jackson chardonnay. I haven't found this at other theaters. Many other theaters just have cheap canned wine. You're at this location they pour directly from the bottle and I love it. The sound system is stunning! The recliners are amazing and the screens are huge. We will be back often!!

Google
We chose this location for it's proximity to parking downtown. The popcorn was way too salty. There were audio issues throughout our whole move. I had to complain twice but they couldn't fix it. They were aware that the front right speaker was going out throughout the whole movie. Besides the heated recliners, this was one of the worst moviegoing experiences I've had. I don't recommend this location.

Google
Love this movie theater... Seamless and easy for online and in person reservations. I order food to be delivered to my seat before the movie begins, and they always serve us before the movie, and after the several commercials ends. They have a good variety of snacks, and drink options and a full bar. Bathrooms are always clean, and I enjoy the reclining seats. Oh, and I love the fact that there's a Marshall nextdoor, the original Pizzerias Uno & Due, a Trader Joe's across the street, and the Harry Potter restaurant is one of two city blocks up.

Google
This theater is in too nice of an area to be so run down! It smells like mold and should be investigated by the city because it’s definitely not safe for patrons! Not to mention the staff is truly incompetent. They delivered me the wrong order then would not fix it! I had to leave the theater, missing the movie, to go back to the counter to make sure I got what I actually paid for! A horrible experience!

Google
This AMC surprised me a bit. We were able to walk right in and get good seats, pethaps because the weather was so nice outside. It's very clean and has a bar. It's three levels and you can order drinks on any level, and they have a fountain drink refill station on each level, very convenient. The views are great if you decide to hang out before/ after your movie. The seats were very comfortable, not overused like some theaters.

Ulises O.

Google
A great experience at this AMC theater right off Michigan Ave, purchased tickets before hand so all you needed was the QR codes that are scanned by staff upon arrival. For a Friday afternoon movie showing, the crown was relaxed and mostly family oriented. With a Bar available, grab a drink before the movie. Wide availability of concessions and with the option of having Movie theater food brought to your seat while watching. Seats are comfortable and roomy, audio and visuals are top tier as well. Enjoy a movie here !

Google
Nice customer service. Food delivered promptly. Decent size screens, but if you're looking for a IMAX type larger screen experience, you would likely need to pick another movie theater that caters to large screens.

Google
This place has real clean theaters love the reclining chairs. The only down side is the parking. It is very expensive for parking in doors, if you plan to go to the theater make a day out it! paid 59 dollars for 12 hours and only used 3 hours. But for the most part parking is the only downside unless you make it worth it. You can find indoor parking across the street.

Yelp
Went to AMC on a rainy cold day to catch a movie. Location is great overlooking MI avenue. Seats reclining and each seat has a movable tray which is great if you order food and drinks. Plenty Food choices besides standard popcorn. Full bar too with draft beer. Would recommend as movies are always better on the big screen. Would recommend!

Yelp
Dirty dirty theater. From entrance to auditorium itself. So bad I had to walk out and grab napkins to wipe the seat down. It was down right gross. For the price you're paying it should be clean. Doesn't matter if it's old and tired. No reason to be dirty. No wonder why people aren't going to movies anymore.
google avatar

Yelp
Not the best AMC there is. Building needs lots of work. Escalator was not working and this is a 3 floor theatre. The self fill soda machine on the third floor did not have any carbonation in it. The staff was not there to check in my tickets. Saw Deadpool and Wolverine here and sat in theater 7 in the last row. The seats are good but they are still cramped despite being the recline style.
google avatar

Leslie M.

Yelp
This theatre is a disaster! So much opportunity for improvement. The concession area is janky, and there is limited candy to purchase. The Icee drinks were NOT frozen, the popcorn smelled burnt, and the staff was not friendly. I went to see Wicked in theatre 9 and there was NO heat. A 3-hour movie with NO heat. It was like 20 degrees out, and the theatre felt colder. Every person had their coat, hat, and gloves on. Completely unacceptable! This is why I prefer to watch movies at home. I will NEVER go to this theatre again!

Yelp
I tend to go to this theater often. The seats are super comfy, they have dine in table service and the views from the top of Michigan Ave are pretty sweet. It's close to everything in River North but oddly enough I personally never found it hard to find a seat or the current movie I want playing. I like the extended menu too. The Brie bacon burger was pretty tasty.

Yelp
This AMC is closer to my place. My sister was visiting and we decided to watch Deadpool. I really like the bar. The bartender is very friendly. I have an AMC pass so the process to book the tickets online is very smooth. I booked a ticket for my sister online for an additional cost. I usually order the snacks online and I find it near my seat every time I reach. This time I was late by 3 mins and the person took my order back so I had to go to the snack counter again to collect my combo order . The recliners are very comfortable. If you are watching the last show the trash bins are some times filled to the brim making it hard to trash any items. The auditoriums are usually neat.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed watching Inside Out 2 here! My friend and I are from Chicago but we decided to have a girls night downtown and went to the theater very randomly. We bought tickets online easily & walked there (the entrance was not easy to find based on where maps take you WARNING). I loved their bar, but they only had 1 bartender so the line got pretty long and it took a while for drinks. Nonetheless comfortable and nice spot!

Yelp
Horrible ... at least 35 minutes of commercials before the movie even started. By the time the movie comes on you're exhausted. I'll just wait for my movies to come to Netflix or whatever streaming service I have
google avatar

Charleene R.

Yelp
Theater was pretty dirty, popcorn under seats in front of the row I was seated was evident. Placed an order to have delivered to my seat, just to try it out. I waited ... and after about 10mins after my order drop off time I went downstairs to the concession center to ask about it since I didn't want to risk being interrupted when the movie started. The employees seems very lackadaisical and on my way back to the theater I ran into the gentleman slowly strolling through the hall with my order. When I tell you the theater was pretty empty that's an understatement. Also, side note for the theater, playing an action movie in the theater next to a movie that is very quiet isn't the best idea. For the first 10 minutes into the movie all I heard was the pounding from the base and screams and screeching from the theater next door. It was pretty distracting. The seats are nice, reclining seats, and the popcorn was good.

Yelp
Nice staff works there. Location needs a lot of repairs and cleaning. They need to deep clean it amd make repairs to various parts of the building.

Yelp
Customer interaction is very disrespectful. A young lady on this particular day was very rude and disrespectful when my wife arrived to have our tickets scanned for a movie. In the app when you purchase multiple tickets you have to at least screenshot the other one if your partner is not there yet I.e. parking car, running behind. This young woman who dawned a scarf & glasses told my wife she cannot enter the theater until I get there, which never happened before. My wife decided ok maybe this is a new policy or something. My wife proceeded to state we'll let me at least grab our food before they deliver it to our seats, didn't want that because the food would be cold. The young lady continued stating you can't come in unless your other party is here even though she let a party of 4 in which they didn't all have individual tickets right before her eyes. My wife then asked for the manager who was no help. He made up a new policy as we stood there already missed 5 minutes of our movie because of this disrespectful attitude and behavior of this young woman. We usually never deal with anything like this but today the manager and his young staff member seemed to be out for blood for some unsuspecting customer. Oh! And when we finally got past them, I wife had a clear water bottle in her hand and the manager stated oh! You can't bring outside beverages in the theater. My wife agreed but as we sat in the theater, we saw several people with their personal water bottles!!! Didn't understand that either. It you have the policy in place make sure it's for everyone.......EVERYONE. We love the theater and the location but seriously have to change up employees attitudes, customer service and the respect of when customers are spending money at this establishment, they would expect more.

Yelp
They won't sell kids pack and the regular popcorn is enormous. The bathrooms are always dirty. This place is overpriced and way outdated
google avatar

Megh L.

Yelp
Pretty rough experience. $19 for the ticket. Then, $30 for a soda and chicken tenders (ordered at concession to have chicken tenders delivered to seat). Food didn't arrive until about 45 minutes later. I was close to getting up and checking but I really didn't want to miss any of the movie. Just as I was about to get up, luckily my food was brought to me. Unfortunately it was cold and pretty much inedible. Same with soda - I think the syrup in their machines was low. Went to the bathroom after and there was no toilet paper in any of the stalls and overall was very very dirty. The escalators down weren't working either. Will stick to Block 37 from now on.

Yelp
I wanted to see Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris and am so happy I did! It was at both of my theatres in the Streeterville area, but I MUCH prefer the comfort of the reclining chairs at 600N. The movie theatre was clean, and its bathrooms are spotless. Yes, low attendance helps for sure, as I have seen reviews where they are asking for them to clean it up. However, this is not my issue, and honestly, has never been a complaint of mine for this particular location. We purchased tix while we were there. Apparently, one of the kiosks was down. The location of this theatre lends itself to a great evening. Surrounded by great restaurants so you can go before or after... OR eat in, if you prefer. I did not eat food this time, but their popcorn was around $10. Holy schnikes, but I get it, honestly. Their attendance is down, they have staff to pay, it's all relative. Prices go up. Anyone looking for a feel-good movie, consider Mrs. Harris... it was terrific. I am next looking forward to the George Clooney/Julia Roberts movie due out in October.

Mark D.

Yelp
Too bright. There's a giant table in front of your seat, so u can't even be, like, at the edge of your seat or whatever. The line for popcorn was unforgivably long.
google avatar

Sherry S.

Yelp
It was clean and well kept and exactly what one would expect for movie theatre dining.
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
We got tickets to a movie with recliner seats and ordered some popcorn to be delivered to us. The popcorn was delivered exactly at show time - right as the trailers were about to start. The inside was clean and nice. Great theater!

Yelp
They do so much right here, let's focus on the positive. They have a great facility overall. I have been here for years and support not only the indie theaters but AMC and Century Landmark. The prices have gone up a tad lately but if more folks would have been coming out to theaters they prob. would not have had to do so. I love the special events that Fandango is part of as well. I usually don't indulge in their snacks so that is not an issue for me. I know a lot of folks that have moaned over the years about the prices of snacks there. Fun place to be and great location as well.

Yelp
Had an afternoon free and decided to come here for a Tuesday matinee. Unfortunately I should have chosen a different theatre. As someone with a back injury I would normally take the elevator but it was out of order. Thankfully the escalator *seemed to be working.. that is until I got to the landing and saw the second up elevator was not working. I looked around for signs to see if they offered an option for people injured or with disabilities but saw zero signage trying to point anyone who needed assistance going up the stairs any other option. After slowly carefully climbing the second escalator, which was at least just over two flights of stairs, I calmly waited for my friend to meet me. While I was waiting I watched 3 different elderly people huffing their way up because as with me they didn't see any other option. Then to my dismay I saw AN ELDERLY BLIND PERSON making their way up and that is when I chose to speak up and ask why they were not ADA compliant. The person working informed me that if any of us, myself the 3 elderly people, OR THE BLIND PERSON needed assistance we should have called the number listed on the elevator. I t was the smallest print sign under a very large print OUT OF ORDER SIGN. I will include a picture.. I then asked what he was talking about because the only sign I had seen was an out of order sign and ONLY ON THE elevator. NO WHERE was it posted near or on the first floor alerting anyone to the fact the second escalator would be broken. AND NO WHERE on the landing in between escalators was there any sign giving any other option patrons to get upstairs. This is completely not ADA compliant and illegal. When I asked them to post clear signs where elderly, injured or, disabled people could see and be aware they rolled their eyes and asked if I'd like to speak to the manager. I said no I only request signs as per the law for anyone needing assistance. To top it off it was 85+ degrees out today and their air conditioning is broken... when I left there were STILL no clear signs anywhere on the first landing except for an "out of order" only on the elevator with the smallest print underneath on ripped paper saying call that absolutely no one saw. AMC you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Yelp
So this is a very very nice theater, meaning clean, updated, seats are very nice and not worn down. One concern is how close you had us in the theater. Some restrict seats to meet covid separate distancing. Other than that, very nice theater
google avatar

Jessie Elizabeth J.

Yelp
Super comfortable seating and great customer service! Anyone who actually orders food at a theatre is frankly asking to have a poor experience. Yes the food is terrible DUH this isn't 1985. It's ran by teenagers ffs. There are a lot of grocery stores and restaurants nearby if you have a brain...
google avatar

Caitlin B.

Yelp
Not off to a great start for a theater that boasts dine in and ease of preordering ahead of showtime (at premium ticket pricing I might add). Neither app nor website will allow preorders. And likely won't have time ahead of arrival to place order in person, which is of course is not amc's issue, but the preorder was part of the draw for a big group of us going on really tight time frames. We'll see how it goes once there, but not enticed to make out of way trip here again at their rates + downtown parking fee insanity.

Yelp
I went to watch Star is Born (Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper) a few weeks ago. The singing was pretty good as expected but the ending is a little sad so be prepared to shed some tears. We ordered the sampler appetizer for this dine-in theater experience. The platter included pretzels, wings, chicken tenders, and fries. It was around $18 (not cheap) but actually tasted quite good for movie food. I was impressed. We ordered food before we found our reclinable reserved seats and then chilled until our food was brought to us. There are mini tray tables attached to our seats. However, they were a little too small for our huge food platter. And ditto to other yelpers...the escalators were not working which is fine for me but rather annoying and inconvenient for certain people especially if you are injured or pregnant. TIP: I haven't tried it but I heard that they have $5 movies on Tuesdays
google avatar

Jonna N.

Yelp
I've been going to this movie theatre a bunch to use MoviePass and it's close to work. There are recliners for each theatre. It's on multiple floors that you can use escalators and elevators to get to. I like that there's big windows so you can see a nice birds eye view of Michigan Ave. The dine-in part is nice. The menu is kinda pricey but their milkshakes are good. The food is filling since I am paying attention to the movie while I eat. There's also soda machines on every floor so you don't have to go back down to the first floor to get a refill. I'd give this place 4 stars but I sometimes I have sat at a seat with a table that had dried sauce. They don't clean with a wet towel or anything on the tables in between movies. If the cleaning becomes better then it would be my favorite movie theatre.

Yelp
Great place to watch a movie on a chilly night outside in Chicago. Seats were comfortable but seem a little narrow. Maybe it just seems even more so now (in January) because we came in with arctic strength winter wear while trying to get comfy in our seats! My first time at this is dine in AMC so wasn't sure how long it takes to get food delivered. However, our appetizer arrived after all the previews and opening credits and was delivered to the wrong chair, so there seemed to be some confusion there. The food was pretty tasty though, especially the dry rub wings. Nice clean restrooms nearby, but following the movie, the women's room had a long line, as they often do. Purchasing tickets ahead online, made for an easy transition into the theater. A plus for us was walking out the doors, across the street to Shake Shack! Plenty of public parking nearby (but pricey)! I.e. $15/hour across the street. Use Spot Hero!

Yelp
July 27, 2022. First time here. It was a 3pm show on a Wednesday. We took the kids to see Minions. Awesome experience. Good food selections. Great Adult drinks with a full bar. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended. We parked at the garage across the street. ($15) for 4 hours. After the show, we walked around the river (Chicago RiverWalk) and bought ice-cream. Great night out.
google avatar

Jacqueline B.

Yelp
I like the chairs for this theater, but our tables were stuck or loose where moving them proved difficult. We were on the 3rd level and I think the seats are MUCH narrower than level 2. (or is it me?) Our movie let out at 9, but the Ladies' room upstairs had a stall with no paper! And no hook on the door either. It's only been a few years since the renovation, let's keep up with the UPkeep!
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
This location is always dirty and none of the employees seem to care. I walked into my theater and there was still garbage everywhere from the last showing. An employee walked by and just said "sorry, the usher never came in to clean." Cool. Then they show messages about enhanced cleaning practices on the screen. If it weren't so gross, it would be funny. Pay the extra few dollars for your ticket and go to the Block 37 location. It's much cleaner and nicer overall.
google avatar

Alyssa B.

Yelp
Was worried about going to a movie theater in the city and that it would be crowded and dirty but it was actually one of the nicest theaters I've been too! Not to mention you can reserve seats ahead of time by buying tickets online which makes it super convenient and guaranteed a good seat! We got there 30 minutes before our show so we'd have enough time to order food and drinks before! They have a great menu with lots of options, including appetizers, flatbreads, burgers, and more. We ordered the sampler platter appetizer and the bbq chicken flatbread, both were very good, nothing too special, but filled us up plenty! Our complaint would be it can be a little pricey, but obviously that's any movie theater now a days! The other great thing about this theater is there is a bar with a full cocktail menu and you can bring your drinks into the theater! They only let you get 1 drink at a time per ID but you can go back at any time for more! Overall a great experience and now I plan to go to the movies way more often!

Yelp
I scheduled out a trip downtown to take my Mom to a movie (Elvis) and grab some deep dish pizza, and I had it all planned out to a tee (showtime, parking, restaurant hours, etc.). However, much to my surprise, theater changed the start time after I had already purchased the tickets (no bueno). When I explained to the manager how this threw off our plans, I expected a drawn-out negotiation and just a refund. Instead, he was sympathetic and accommodating: giving us a meal on the house to make up for the pizza, letting us in the later showing, and giving us passes for a future show. Just that quickly, he turned a potentially disappointing night into a great one. With customer service like that, I have to be come back soon!
google avatar

Joejoe N.

Yelp
Had an awful experience with the dine in services. I placed a order of nacho before the movie and told them where to deliver and all the details. However, I did not get my food at all and turned out that the cashier had put in my order as a pick up. You know I think messing the order is whatever, but what pissed me off is the attitude of the manager. I told them about my situation and showed them my receipt indicating that they charged me as delivery instead of pick up. Her response was "Next time make sure you told them is a delivery and not a pick up". It doesn't even make sense to want to pick up in the middle of the movie and I don't know why would they put the blame on me. No apologies or what so ever, just told me is ok you got your refund. Never gonna do an order in this place again. I guess they just don't care about their customers
google avatar

Yelp
Are all AMCs putting in these reclining seats now? If so, I'm totally on-board. This theater has been updated to add in these comfortable seats, as well as add in some Coke Freestyle machines. Each seat has a little table, as well, which makes snacking nice & easy. And reserving seats is something every theater should truly get on board with! Sound and picture quality is always great for films. Heaven on Seven is no longer in the building, but AMC has made up for this by upping their concession game. You take multiple escalators up to get to the main theater, so rest assured if you're going up, you're headed the right way. If you're a part of AMC Stubs, you get a monstrously big large popcorn and large drink during your birthday month. The size made my jaw drop and between two of us, we hardly made a dent in the drink or popcorn. All in all, a solid theater in the city and I'd be more than open to watching movies here in the future!
google avatar

Tracy W.

Yelp
Super comfy seats and I love that you get to pick them ahead of time. It means so waiting or having to come early because you have guaranteed seats. This is a dine in theater so you can order a meal (burgers, chicken strips and much more) and they will deliver it to your seat. Also a full bar so feel free to bring your drinks Into the movie. Best part is the seats are super comfy and big like a couch. They recline electronically and have rotating table for food and drinks. Such an awesome way to watch a movie. This theater is right on Mag Mile too so see a movie and do some shopping or urban hiking after. Definitely our go to movie theater. So easy to get to whether we uber or take public transit.
google avatar

Erica J.

Yelp
What a cozy theater! I brought my toddler to watch a children's film and she loved it. I absolutely love that the two adjacent seats make a spacious love seat when both are reclined. Purchasing tickets and selecting seats were easy to do online. The tickets were scanned on my phone when we arrived, and we avoided waiting in line for tickets. We ordered our food prior to taking our seats. Alcoholic drinks and food are ordered at two separate locations, not the end of the world but slightly less convenient. The men's restroom is conveniently located near the concession stand. The lady's room is down the hall and around the corner, but I love the sink/dryer combo! One major disappointment was how long it took for our food to arrive. We were halfway through the movie when we finally got up to ask how much longer for the food. That would have been much more inconvenient if I didn't have another adult with me, as I would have had to take my toddler away from the movie to inquire about food.
google avatar

Despina A.

Yelp
Decent drinks, strange bartender but the theatre was basically empty (post COVID) so it was a nice place to watch a movie. Seats recline and have footrests. If you want to order food from your seat, make sure to order BEFORE THE FILM starts
google avatar

Janice L.

Yelp
Not the fanciest movie theater in the city, but this is our go-to. We usually book our tickets online ahead of time and show the QR code to check into the theater. The entrance is a little confusing if it's your first time at the theater. There are some very long escalators that take you to the 4th floor. The ticket office and concessions are located on this floor. There are only a few screens per level, so you may have to take additional escalators up for your movie. The theater itself is nice and has comfortable reclining seats. Since all the seats recline, you never feel "too close" to the screen.
google avatar

Patrick J.

Yelp
Clean this place up. There was so much popcorn under my seat. I would have never known had my phone not fell between the seats. I hope the managers see this. Put those young people to work make them get their heads out of those cell phones. Next time I'll go to Block 37 it's cleaner. I'm a shareholder in this company and may send Adam Eron a message he's the CEO of AMC theaters. Secondly they need to stop using popcorn from the night before. I know fresh Vs day old popcorn. When you're paying close to $20 bucks for popcorn and a beverage you deserve free.
google avatar

Anthonisha C.

Yelp
I mean....it's AMC. Think, regular smegular movie theater with escalators and a bar. I will say, my Carmel/cheddar popcorn was stale and they replaced it with buttered popcorn and refunded the difference (as they should). Nonetheless, Woman King was phenomenal!
google avatar

Shevon R.

Yelp
Okay. Haven't been here in a while. It needs a refurbishment. Chair arms are all scratched up. Theater was not cleaned well. Walked in there was garbage and a glass cup on the floor. $14 for 2 sodas. This is why we see movies in the suburbs. Theater just did not feel clean. Oh well. I've seen worse.
google avatar

Francis R.

Yelp
No complaints on this one. Entrance is a bit tricky as it's actually on Rush & Ohio rather than right off Michigan Ave. Theaters are a bit smaller, but it's clean, seats are assigned, and the chairs are all leather and can kick back and recline. Comfy! This location is technically considered a dine in theater meaning you could order food and a server will bring it right out to your seat at the beginning of the movie. Which reminds me, in addition to the comfy recliner seats each seat also has a desk/table that swivels in front of you to enjoy any food or snack you might order. They do also have a full bar available as well. I'd definitely come back to see a movie here. As I recall the matinee prices are $6 if you catch a showtime before noon. That's all I got on this one. 'Til next time, cheers!

Yelp
$18 dollars for a glass of wine where the bottle retails for $12. Looking at you Coppola Claret. I get the need to make a profit but, come on. Staff was very nice, chairs comfy, broken escalator with no guest access to an elevator. Would go back if someone else was paying but not if I was..

Yelp
One of my perks through my employer is AMC tickets. I really didn't know how it works. I called over and who ever answered was able to walk me through what that process looks like. Pretty easy and straight forward. I brought my passes with me and showed them to the box office. They were able to purchase my tickets to Rich Sexy Asians no problem. I still was able to pick my seats. Our theatre was on the 8th floor! You forget how big the building is. I loved the surround sound and effects. Made the experience even more pleasurable. Someone was in one of our seats accidentally. She misread her ticket. I was surprised how packed the theater was for this movie since it had been out for some time now. Overall I loved the movie and experience. I didn't try the food that's why I didn't rate it a full 5 stars

Yelp
This was my first visit to this location after a couple of years. I am so glad my friend suggested it! The lobby and theater were modern, updated and clean. The staff was so helpful from the moment we walked in. The ticket counter was busy and the clerk tried to quickly assist everyone with a smile. The concessions staff were equally professional and friendly. Then I walk into the theater. Oh the new seats!!! It was like watching a movie in my own living room. Each chair a small table, huge armrests and reclines as the footrest raises up. My friend actually fell asleep twice - and not because the movie was boring. This will certainly be my go to theater in the future!

Yelp
This theater is one of my favorites. It's secluded and I love that it has the recliner chairs. I saw the Elvis Movie at this theatre and really enjoyed my time here. Also can't beat that it's right on Mag Mile in Downtown Chicago.

Yelp
Overpriced for the "dine in" experience...oh wait, they cancelled that. Now you buy your concessions at the booth and bring them into the theater where you have a small table connected to the armchair. I can go to any other theater for the same experience and not pay $8 for nachos

Yelp
I had not been here in ages. But since we were in the area a few weeks ago, we came here for a move Saturday evening movie instead of a place closer to home. Having never experienced AMC Dine-In, we were looking forward to the experience. I would have to say it was not what I expected. I guess one has to order their food at the bar/concessions area, and then it gets delivered to your seat. I thought there would be dining service (like a sit-down restaurant) in the theatre. Anyway, fortunately we had had dinner beforehand... The theatre itself is pretty dated and needs a major remodel. The seats we were in were broken--while the seat reclined, the pad on which the legs rested were crooked/slanted when in the full reclining position. Also, the armrest between our two seats did not go up fully, so we left it down. If you want a more perfect AMC Dine-In experience, go to the one in Block 37!!

Yelp
I was hesitant to go to a (Dine In) movie theatre, but I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was in the actual theatre. The view from the lobby and the floor my movie was on was spectacular. More importantly is the size of the theatre, it has a nice size screen that really doesn't have a bad seat to view the movie. Even though they serve food in this theatre, it's not at all distracting. I was worried about food smells and eating noises. There was none, people make more noise with their popcorn and candy wrappers. The reclining seats in the theatre are clean, comfortable and well maintained. The best part was the fact that the chairs have leg rests, "I had ask my neighbor how to work it," a little hint, press the big button on the inside left arm rest. . The restrooms are clean and plentiful. I really had a great experience at this theatre in Chicago. It nice and centrally located to shops and restaurants.

Yelp
MY FAVORITE MOVIE THEATER IN CHICAGO! Always clean, showtimes are always comfortable, prices are reasonable for the comfort that you get. Seats are amazing and so comfy, you can lay down and enjoy the movie. Popcorn is really tasty, food is also good. You can find anything from "meat lovers" burger to veggie stuff. Members are nice and friendly, restrooms are big, always clean. Love this place.

Yelp
May the force be with you! I stopped by here last night to see The Last Jedi. This AMC Dine-In theater is great! I've been here a few times now and I love the comfortable reclining seats and how clean it is. Along with the nice seats, you get a little side table with a cupholder to be able to hold both your drink and your candy/snacks you buy. The armrest also comes up, which is a nice touch when you go with a date :) I like how this location has a bar - I grabbed a mojito for the movie. This theater has it all and is conveniently located. The cleanliness and reclining seats sets this theater apart from the rest. I'll be back here again the next time I want to see a movie.
