My favorite AMC theater! AMC Madison Yards 8 is truly the best — easy free parking, a spotlessly clean theater, and a fantastic staff who are always friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is comfortable and well-maintained, making every visit enjoyable from start to finish. Whether it’s a quick movie night or a special outing, it’s always a great experience here. Consistently a good time at the movies!

AMC Theatres – Laser Precision, Recliner Peace, and Parking Perks A theater experience strong with the Force—and no credits needed for parking. Ventured to AMC for a screening of Superman in glorious Laser format. The image? As vivid and sharp as a Jedi’s first lightsaber—colors leapt off the screen, and every detail was dialed to eleven. The true path to comfort, though, lay in the reclining loungers. Smooth they were, plush and inviting—leaned back I did, and nearly drifted to the stars between action scenes. A seat worthy of a Jedi Council member, no doubt. Clean the space was—not pristine like the halls of the Jedi Temple, but clean enough to enjoy without distraction. A solid effort, especially given the bustling crowd. Free parking in the garage right beside the theater. No galactic credits required, no hunting across systems for a spot—just pull in and walk straight to your destiny (or concessions counter). Whether you're there for capes or comfort, AMC’s Laser setup is a Force-aligned win.

This is the best theater in this area. Clean. High-quality experience. The only thing that keeps me from giving this a five star review is the fact that they let small children (2-3 years old) come into rated R movies in the eveningswith their parents/grandparents and the children talk and play on iPads/iPhones during the whole movie. Management refuses to do anything about this.

Theatre itself was great. However I was there today for the 2:35pm movie and I wanted a drink from the bar. The bartender paid more attention on her phone than me. I even said "Hello?" and she continued scrolling on her phone and still did not notice me. AMC please do better with your bartenders.

We always have a good time. Clean theater with a knowledgeable and friendly staff even when we make mistakes. Convenient free parking, well stocked bar. Beware of the heated reclining seats, they are addictive. Movie theaters were nothing like this back in my day. Last night the screener was too much fun.

I usually enjoy visiting AMC Madison Yards, but my most recent experience was incredibly disappointing. I was excited to see Ballerina, but as soon as I walked into the theater, I was hit with an overwhelming stench of marijuana and body odor. The auditorium was dirty, uncomfortably hot, and poorly maintained — conditions that felt unsanitary and unacceptable. To make matters worse, the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Every toilet was either clogged or had feces in it, with toilet paper overflowing onto the floors. It was so unsanitary I couldn’t even use the facilities. The strong smell, lack of cleanliness, and overall poor condition of the theater made it impossible to enjoy the movie. I’m extremely disappointed in the quality of this AMC, and I sincerely hope management takes immediate action to improve the environment.

Nice theater. It wasn't too busy when we went on a weeknight. We went as part of a corporate group that reserved a theater for a private screening. Each movie-goer was given a voucher for a free popcorn and soda. It was a very nice experience. I'd recommend coming here as part of the general public and for private theater rentals. The only downside is there isn't a ton of parking, but we always find a spot! From check-in, to the concession counter, to finding our seats... The experience was seamless and everyone was friendly.

Not sure how recently this AMC was built but it looks pretty new. Staff is friendly and service is quick. Plus It’s located in a decent area with other restaurants if you wanted to grab a bite somewhere else before your movie but traffic isn’t the best so plan accordingly.

Watching the first episode of Season 3 at the theater with some of the cast was an absolutely amazing and surreal experience! The theater itself deserves high praise....it's clear they put a lot of thought into comfort and the overall experience. The seats are incredibly spacious, giving you plenty of room to stretch out and relax without feeling cramped. I loved that the chairs are fully adjustable, so you can lounge back and find your perfect angle for watching the show. To make things even cozier, each seat has its own seat warmer, which is such a thoughtful touch, especially on cooler evenings. The atmosphere in the theater was fantastic. Being there with some of the cast made the experience feel personal and exciting. We got to meet a few of the actors and learn more about them, which actually made me dislike Jenard a little less....seeing the people behind the characters really changes your perspective. The theater also has a great bar with a wide selection of drinks, which made the experience feel even more elevated. It's the perfect spot to grab a drink before the show or during intermission and adds to the overall vibe of a night out rather than just a typical screening. Overall, from the spacious, comfortable seating to the seat warmers and adjustable loungers, plus the excellent bar and the chance to enjoy the episode alongside part of the cast, this was an unforgettable experience. I'm wishing the entire cast success in their next chapters, and all glory to God for the opportunity to enjoy such a special event.

This is my favorite AMC to go to in Atlanta. The place is always clean and has recliner seats with heat. It does get full quickly so I recommend booking your seats online beforehand, especially for the Dolby options. They have a regular concession stand to get food and drinks, but they also have a bar to get alcoholic drinks. There is plenty of parking in the garage next door or at the Publix. Plus, there's food and drink options in the surrounding area making it a great spot for dinner, drinks, and a movie.

This was my first time at this location. Parking was relatively easy to find as there was a free parking deck right next to it. My tickets were pre purchased so I got them scanned and walked in. We decided to order the specialty Wicked drinks from the bar which were a good choice however I find that it did take quite some time to prepare the drinks. I've noticed this with other AMC locations as well so I would highly suggest arriving 20 min prior to your movie start time if you plan on ordering at the bar. The food line moved much quicker. I enjoyed the seats in the theater. They were very comfy however the plastic was peeling off which made me wonder about the upkeep. All in all, I would return to this location in the future.

This was our 3rd or 4th visit to this theater. This is not a dine in theater so we ate dinner prior to arriving. We entered, checked in with our online tickets and made our way to the full bar. There was a group of 4 in front of us and they were taking forever to get their drinks. It was a combination of a lot of chatting going on and they kept adding to their order. Another bartender came over to help and we finally made it to the front. Wifey ordered the Octoberfest and I ordered the Voodoo Ranger IPA. They were having issues with the tap. There was too much foam coming out and they were struggling to give us a full glass. They really need to fix that, this was actually the second time we've run into this issue at this theater. We took our beers and headed over to Theater 1. This auditorium's sound system is outstanding. We will definitely be back to watch the next blockbuster action movie here. So overall our theater itself was a winner, but the bar experience was a little bit of a pain. This place is convenient for us and we will be back. 3.5 Rating

I went to this location for the first time and I love it! Parking is very convenient in the parking deck. I was able to purchase my ticket at the kiosk in the entrance and the lines to the concessions were moving fast. I love that they have specialty popcorn. It was fresh and delicious. The movie theater was clean and the staff friendly.

AMC is very popular! Sometimes, we will try to get tickets to a movie, but they are sold out! They have very helpful staff; a nice inside, and fantastic seating! Each chair has buttons that can scoot you up, scoot you back, turn up the heat on the back of the seat, and turn it down! They have nice cup holders (for icees and other drinks). And the popcorn is amazing! You can even have them deliver popcorn and drinks to you! You're most likely to enjoy your movie and experience! 6/5! (If u could rate that high)

Day Date This place always has lots of movie times to choose from. They always have new releases on opening day. Parking is a breeze and free. Their concession stand is always fully stocked. Surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants. You can get coffee and popcorn or a cocktail and popcorn. Something for everyone. Lots of staff on hand. It may be our favorite intown theater. It helps that our doggie daycare is also close by. Yes to a movie experience. Cause if it's not an experience- can't you just watch it at home

I adore this movie theater! Ever since moving to East Atlanta, I've become an AMC girly. With AMC being king here in ATL as far as quality and number of locations available, how could I not? And Madison Yards is a great location to be live my best movie-lover life. Let me first plug the AMC A-List program. I'm a 3rd generation movie lover. And not just movies at home, I love the movie theater experience. So a subscription to the movies is one of the best things to have ever happened to me, lol. For under $30, I can see up to 3 movies a week and I earn points from other purchases like food and extra tickets which results in AMC credits I can use for more items. It really pays for itself in 1 movie visit for me so I pretty much live at the movies when I have the time lol. Located in the Madison Yards plaza, this AMC offers minimal lot parking outside of the theater but there are dozens of spots available at the adjoining garage that offers covered and uncovered rooftop parking. The area itself is lovely, with a number of other businesses in the plaza including restaurants if you'd like to have a meal before or after your big screen fun. This AMC isn't incredibly huge but it definitely has some space. Upon entry, you can purchase your tickets at one of their kiosks or with the ticket agent at the front. It's a super easy check-in at the front despite only being 1 or 2 team members checking guests in on slower days. I always have my ticket ready on my phone so that once I flash it, I can be on my merry way. There's way more casual seating at this theater than I think I've ever seen at movie theaters now that I think about it, lol. Perhaps it's to encourage folks to sit and enjoy the bar a bit more, or to wait for others, but it is a lovely seating area! There are a few lines available for the concession stand but I feel as though it never gets too long. The team members behind the snack bar are usually younger teens and they're always super friendly and accommodating. (Especially when I ask for like, 5 cups of jalapenos for my nachos lol) The bar does what it needs to do and you can usually expect the same 2 great bartenders there throughout the week. No, food and drink prices at the movies aren't reasonable, but these are things we know lol. I love that with AMC, you can order your food in advance on the app! At Madison Yards, you cannot get it delivered to your seat like you can at Phipps, but it can be ready for pickup at the time you prefer - love that for me. The theaters, bathrooms and hallways are always incredibly clean as well! No sticky floors, popcorn in the crevices of the seats or anything of the sort - they are always on point. Another aspect that I love about this theater and AMC as a whole, are the comfy reclining chairs. I love to get comfy for a movie vs. having to sit up bone straight for 2.5 hours in an uncomfortable chair. I get so relaxed in those chairs, it's tempting to fall asleep! I also love that some rows allow us to pull up the middle console so that I can be all in my partners' personal space as we watch the movie, lol. Overall, my favorite AMC theater!

The movie theater was spotless, seats were comfy, and the sound system was top-notch. Popcorn tasted fresh too, which is rare these days! Loved that they check tickets efficiently without long lines.

The theater is fine. The food is expensive and popcorn is just okay. The other food , especially the hot dogs are yuck.

I had no idea they built a movie theater over in the area and I must say it's about time. The area is clean right off Memorial Drive convenient, not to mention the dinning area you can order and they will ring your food to you . Now that's always a win I am stuck and it's close to home .

I really enjoyed this AMC located in East Atlanta. They have plenty of parking for free. It's always nice and clean and I love that. It's never overly crowded.

So unprofessional! I ordered my Stanz ticket asap since they were in theaters just this weekend. I called in to make sure we were good to go but a woman answered the phone said that's canceled at this theater. No explanation or anything. The day of? Where was the notification? Really people not cool. Thank god I called in before I started my one and a half hour drive.

It was a nice Saturday and I got up wanting to go to the movies. I wanted some movie theater popcorn . Mainly I wanted to see Denzel Washington in Equalizer 3. I had never been tot this theater but did my research. It sits in the middle of a community called Elan at Madison Yards. You would not know it's here from Memorial Drive if you are paying attention. There is a Publix next to it and other businesses across the street. It is also a very busy little area but not congested. We purchased our tickets online because we are AMC stub members. This is now the closest theater to my location in East Point. AMC Camp Creek is closed hopefully for renovations. The lobby is so nice and inviting. If you need to buy tickets you may do so at several kiosks. Your vision is immediately pulled upward because they have a lot for you to see on the walls up high. The lobby has comfy seating almost like a hotel atmosphere. There is a bar and a concession stand. You can order food ahead of time online and they will serve you at your seat as well. Next time I will try that option. There was no line at concessions so we were able to grab our grub and proceed to the theater. The theaters are the perfect size. Every row is clearly labeled with a letter in the stairwell that you can see even in the dark. The chairs are so comfy. They extend like a recliner under your legs and even the back of the chair lays back further if you do not want to sit up. I was in heaven. Also if someone has to pass in front of you, they have enough space to do so without you having to bring your seat back to upright position. The theater had a clean floor as well. After the movie I used the restroom . A lot of stalls and it was pretty clean and decent. I can't say anything bad about this theater. I will gladly come back again.

Everything was great except my popcorn. Maybe next time. It may have been from the bottom because it was super salty. I didn't want to miss the movie going back to switch. Great movie and love the seats!

I like to be comfortable and watch a movie in a clean and quiet setting so there are only a few theaters that I visit. My first choice is Colony Square and then a close runner up is AMC Madison Yards 8 and The Springs. I wanted to see Avatar during the winter holiday break and waited until the last minute to purchase tickets and bypassed several theatres on my way to AMC Madison Yards. I made the extra drive because it's an easy process to reserve your seat in advance, the theatre is always clean, parking is convenient, and the staff is friendly. Sure enough even on a busy holiday weekday with a little wait in the snack line I was still greeted with a smile. Restrooms were clean with plenty of stalls and sinks.   I only purchased a kids pack which is my go to and upgraded my snack but if you're in the mood for something else, they serve adult beverages and food. If you frequent the movies often you may want to look into their membership.

Why offer a service if you're not going to honor it?! This evening I went to see Creed III and utilized the option to have concessions delivered to our seats. The movie started at 7:30pm and the food was to be delivered at 7:40pm. The theater was packed so, I didn't trip when 7:50 came and still no food. But, at 8:00, we went to the concession stand and the employees said they were a little behind and said they would deliver in 15 minutes. 8:50pm and the food still wasn't delivered. After a trip to the stand, it's realized that our food was never on the way and the entire order had to be made.

I spoke too soon! Upon arrival, Ellison provided a kind greeting. I came for an 11:30 am Saturday movie. Ordered a cheese flatbread only to be told after waiting 10 minutes that they only had supreme. I didn't want anything else on the menu. Didn't eat breakfast before coming because I had my tastebuds set on the 4 cheese flatbread. She mentioned a national shortage. Beyond a lame sorry and refund she really didn't seem too apologetic. Then I get to my seat to find my cup holder filthy with a spilled drink. How do you just open and the theatre is not freshly cleaned and you're sold out of food items?! Not to mention the online menu did not reflect the food item was sold out. What a bad start to my movie experience.

My favorite AMC location to go to. I've been coming here since they opened. Always clean. Super friendly staff. Plenty of FREE parking. Food and drinks always taste great.

It's always a good time when we come here. The theater is very clean, and the seats are plush and comfortable! They recline so much and heat so we'll, we struggle not to fall asleep! Haha! My only complaint is that there is not enough parking. When we went to the Black Panther 2 premiere, there were so many people driving around also looking for parking spots.

Had a good experience with this individual location in the past but AMC corporate is why I will no longer go. Bought an advanced ticket online and had to cancel because of a family emergency. Even though it's an AMC owned app for an AMC theater (no third party involved), AMC refuses to issue a full refund. Surprised a company who's struggling to retain consumers has such terrible customer relations and is fine losing customers over a few bucks. There are too many entertainment options to frequent a business that doesn't care about you UPDATE: I already contacted AMC multiple times. As someone who works in guest relations, I would not say your people are customer focused at all, especially losing a customer over a few dollars

I live about 40 minutes from my theater, but I wanted to bring my family to a "newer" theater to experience the laser screen and heated seats. We are Stubs members and see at least one movie every week. Unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience. First, the staff was unfriendly. The young lady at concessions overcharged us and didn't even seem to care, until I explained to her why our order shouldn't cost what it did. No apology just a heavy sigh and a signal to the manager to process the refund. The other problem is that none of our heated seats worked. That was the thing my daughter was most excited about and then they didn't even work. Our food was just okay. I'm used to my AMC where we have an actual kitchen and a large selection of food. The movie and screen were fine, but the overall experience was not worth the extra drive. I'll stick to my neighborhood AMC.

So I am a Stubs member and you can purchase everything through the app. Everything is so simple. The theatre is pretty decent and you get a discount when you purchase tickets for certain showtimes. The location was pretty clean as well.

Visited AMC Madison Yards for the first time during a preview screening of Wakanda Forever and I must say I'm impressed. Parking was free and plentiful. The staff was friendly and informative. Prices of food was pricey af but that's a movie theater for you I guess... your best bet is to eat before you go. I got that collectible popcorn bucket for $27 which didn't come with a refill! So yea.. do with that info what you wish lol. Ahhh, my other favorite part was the heated seats. Like, y'all tryna get me to waste my lil money because whooo ain't going to sleep on a heated seat lol! No but on a serious note, I enjoyed myself here and will recommend and be back!

New: I saw Wakanda Forever and it was nice and clean as usual. We went on a Saturday at 12:15pm because the tickets on the AMC app were 25% off. Personally, this is the best time to go because there's no one really there. They even gave me nachos and a drink for free because they accidentally made 2 orders for another customer.

One of my favorite theaters in Atlanta, it is always clean. They have a bar with a seating area for those that need a drink. The seats recline, which is amazing for a more comfortable experience. Parking is free, there are 2 parking garages to park in and both are free.

Amazing experience from beginning to the end. Great theater, professional and courteous staff. Seating and projection was fantastic in the auditorium! The lobby is spacious and accommodating with seating. They also have a bar. I hate the prices for snacks and drinks lol, but that's a given at any theater. I definitely will continue to bring my business here. I was pleasantly pleased.

There should be some sort of protocol in place for individuals who forget their IDs. I provided a picture of my license and a picture of my passport, and was told this was not good enough. I was told to buy a ticket & when I tried on the kiosk, the movie was already sold out. I also had both of my nieces with me who I had already bought tickets for. When trying to get a new ticket, I was given so much attitude & had to wait 15 minutes in order to even have the supervisor help me get another ticket. We were then late for the movie. I pay $25/mo for my stubs pass, & had to pay $24 more today to see this movie. (On top of buying their tickets at $40 total). We also bought popcorn & drinks & 2 candies. All of this totaled to be almost $100 just to see a movie on a Monday morning. I plan to cancel my stubs account after this month. Not even worth it. What should have been an enjoyable time with my family turned into snarky comments & missing the beginning. I'm just disappointed with how we were treated. AMC, come up with a protocol/backup plan, because I know I'm not the first person to accidentally forget their ID.

Great movie theater with very up to date amenities. Like all theaters, expect to pay a lot for food and drinks, but they have everything and the atmosphere is fantastic. If you are going to go to the movies, this must be the place.

Better AMC theatre. Plenty of free parking. Nice friendly staff. Enjoyed the reclining seat. All seats have good view of screen. As always snacks are expensive.

Very clean, staff is professional. This one is very different from any AMC I have ever visited. They have heated recliners and they are very spacious.

This is a very big theater. The chairs are reclinable and they at least ask people if they have felt bad in the past 2 weeks or not. The chairs are reclinable and that makes it such a great experience. And there's a publix next to it. *wink wink*

The is the only AMC within a 20 mile radius I will go to. Amole parking, reclining seats, has the full bar, employees are friendly, theaters are clean, not too many rowdy people. It's perfect. The only thing is that it's located in a busy shopping center so it can become a little congested coming in and leaving. But it's also literally right next to the fwy, so I take the good with the bad.

When they built this movie theature I was so excited. The reason being is because it's next to one of my favorite restaurants ( homegrown). I visit here often and always get great service. However I wanted to write my review about my experience today. I had just finished my movie and was sitting in the lobby as a bad storm had just came up. First because of the inconvenience of loosing power free movie passes were handed out. How ever my compliments go out to Jerry. He came out and told us we were welcome to stay in the lobby due to the bad weather. He also informed us should it get worse they would shelter us in a safer place if need be. Jerry showed alot of professionalism during this ordeal. 5 stars for Jerry as well.

Such a nice movie theater with updated seatings (buttons to recline), a full bar and your typical pop corn/soda/candy fare. The theater was kept very clean as well. This is definitely now my go-to when I want to watch a movie in theaters!

Walked into a theater and it smelled like I just stepped into a new car. I probably was the first person to sit in the seat. It was really cool to be back in a theater but the brand new theater took it up a notch for me.

My absolute FAVORITE place to grab snacks, relax and enjoy awesome movies with my gf. We have designated this theater as our "go to" spot when we are in the mood for some relaxation and a great time. Since we've started coming here, we are literally at this theater multiple times in a months time and it's always superb service. They have great food and snack options, CLEANNNNNNNN at ALL times and each visit, a bar for whatever your heart desires to crave and also they have red leather, reclining seats THAT ARE HEATED. Like what??! It's always a no-brainer when it comes to a movie theater. It's not far from home, and also in a remodeled area that is made for fun and a great night out. It's awesome to have a place that's not overrun with kids, and where you don't have to worry about trash being all over the place in the theaters. I've been to theaters that had carpet from the 60s. Nope, not this place. This place is where the hood times roll. And tears lol depending on which film you're watching!

WOW! I am so glad I was able to experience this theater in its new state! Based on my research the grand opening was March of this year. 9 months later and it still feels brand new. I am sure that is only due to the decrease in movie goers during the pandemic. I purchased tickets on the amazon app. I live near Cobb county so I typically frequent the AMC off Cumberland. However, that location was at the 40% max for the movie I wanted to see so we drove the extra distance to this location. Years ago I lived in EAV and we had to drive to Atlantic station to see a movie! This location is prime!! Also, the tickets are about $4 cheaper than my typical AMC location! We parked in the deck. When we walked into the theater we were greeted a few times. We went to concession and ordered a few food items. All of the staff were friendly and even gave detailed descriptions of the food options. There were only a few other patrons in the theater so we were not at all concerned about our safety during this pandemic. The theater seating is out of this world. You get plush recliners that even have a heated lumbar option! I loved this option and it worked perfectly! I have no cons for this spot! Please go check them out!

Amazing customer service today from Zion! I've been going to this theater since the first week it opened. It's always clean, chairs are comfy. My first pick for a movie theater in Atlanta!

Overall, I like this theater. It's brand new. Quite small, but nice. Some of the theaters have heated seats (optional, of course). The big Dolby theater (#1) has crazy loud surround sound that vibrates you a little. The ticketing is fast, digital, easy. Always best on the AMC app. The main drawbacks here are the parking (tiny deck, often full), and the service is pretty lacking. Since there are only 8 screens, half the movies we want to see aren't showing there, or are there for a super short time. Otherwise, solid place!

This theater was great when it first opened, but the cleanliness has gotten seriously bad. The concession area was disgusting: sticky spills and paper waste everywhere, trash cans overflowing, out of straws, lids, etc. The bathrooms were similarly trashed. It was the same condition when the movie let out. I understand things get backed up, but these areas should be cleaned at least once within a three hour period.

AMC Madison Yards should ban whomever sat in seats F1, 2,3 & 4 in theater 6 for the 8:45 show on July 22, 2023. F1 & 2 threw food all over the floor, and 3 and/or 4 were vaping some stomach churning cherry vanilla bullshit. I got home at midnight and had to wash my hair before I could sleep.

Movie theatre is nice, smaller than expected. We arrived early and there were no previews and the movie started 30 minutes later than scheduled because they thought someone was running it. Then someone came out and said the projector wasn't working and it would take 5-10 more minutes. I haven't been to a movie theatre since 2009 so this was super disappointing.

The seats are amazing, recline and are heated! The food is normal movie theater food, nothing spectacular. Parking garage is a nice thing in Atlanta!
