Ameci Pizza Kitchen

Ordered last week and still thinking about how good it was. Placed my pickup order online, very easy. We had a jumbo pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and sausage. Some garlic cheese breadsticks and Buffalo wings. We love pizza and this place hit the spot. Everything was tasty and my babe was impressed with the wings! Food was delicious.

Where do I begin? Let’s start by saying this place is a hidden gem. The food is fresh made upon right to order. Very very reasonable pricing as wel. I didn’t even see they had a special on their menu until I noticed after I paid guess I was that hungry. Their chicken pesto pizza is amazing. Super crunchy and the mount of pesto is pleasant. Their chicken munchies I believe that’s what their called is great amount and perfect size as well super crunchy and yummy. Def recommend anyone and everyone to come here the staff is super friendly and they are very attentive. Family owned and great place to grab a bite def coming back since I’m around the corner now haha

The Review is from Jun 2024 I am just Transferring from Yelp to Google. my favorite pizza place Ameci I been ordering from this place almost a year same pizzas always so delicious my favorite pizza is Margarita wow the best I can eat for days and barbecue pizza and regular pizza they put very good amount of toppings on every pizza the good think is as soon i call them they know who I am and what did I order last time I just tell them same order from last time and done quick and easy and delicious !!!

I normally love this place, but I recently ordered a vegetarian medium pizza, and there was bits of anchovies on it. Absolutely disgusting to include any meat, but especially anchovies, when it wasn’t ordered. I understand things sometimes get overlooked and mixed together, but this isn’t a simple black olive or piece of spinach that ended up where it wasn’t supposed to be. There’s no reason Anchovies should’ve ended up on my pizza. Really disappointed.

Pizza was okay, gave me a stomach ache. Flavor was good. Ranch was amazing! Fettuccine Alfredo tasted like air

Better luck at shakeys! The service at this location is horrible. Guy on the phone/register is the worst (seems to be the boss,terrible attitude) There was three guys huddled around the kitchen, two of them were wearing sweatpants so I assume they own the place. All three seem very busy but also the register guy and the cook kept just staring over and over, I was just sitting. When I was given the wrong pizza, I was almost made to feel guilty for not taking it. The words “what’s wrong you don’t like pineapple” were said. When I finally got my pizza. I had to Remind them my order was incomplete. My wings had been ready for a while just sitting in a plastic container while the correct pizza was being made. Every time I approached the register guy I felt like he was going to scream at me. In the end I didn’t feel comfortable eating at this location. It’s almost like they didn’t want me there. There was a lot of going in and out of the building. But not alot of washing hands after delivering things. Judging by the amount of times they left the building and answered the phone I’m sure to go orders and deliveries are what keeps this place alive. The hospitality is definitely not there. Pizza was okay not worth getting treated like street rat.

Love the veggie pizza. Lots of toppings. I only recommend that the store seal the pizza boxes with stickers or tape. Most of the times doordash deliveries come with half open lids. Doesn't feel healthy.

Very good quality pizza the flavoring from the crust to the cheese and sauce and toppings are well done here the dough is soft and chewy and working next door I'm able to enjoy it easily the workers are clean and easy to talk to you won't be dissapointed from this spot

My wife doesn't really eat pizza, so anytime she's out of town I have to run over to Ameci's and get me some pizza. They hit all the points a neighborhood pizza spot needs to hit, reasonably priced, decently portioned, tastes pretty good, and reasonably quick. In particular, my favorite thing is probably the Calzones. I enjoyed the Meatlovers one. I would (and I'd recommend you also) get an extra thing of marinara though. It is a combination that works well. The Cheese Bread Sticks appetizer is excellent as well, basically a little garlic cheese pizza. Pizza and Calzones and the cheese bread are good. That said, the times I've tried pigs in a blanket, fries, and the salad, it's not quite at the same level. I haven't been disappointed in the pizza, and I've tried a few of them.

Pizza was good, not spectacular but decent enough. Caesar salad was big and quite tasty! Pizza chocolate chip cookie was also good! Overall recommend.

Ameci Pizza has been our go-to for delivery lately. We usually get a large meatball and mushroom ($13.99) It's a good combo. Thinly sliced meatball and plenty of mushroom. They never skimp on the toppings. The crust is always baked right and the sauce & cheese are really tasty. It's a good pie... We also ordered the deluxe (large - $17.99) and it was loaded with pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushrooms, bell peppers and olives. It was good. The vegetable toppings tasted fresh. That's a must. We havent dined-in so I cant speak for the service or atmosphere of the dining room but we like what we've been getting and stick to the usual. The pizza hasnt disappointed yet. The hot wings on the other hand are tiny. Hard to find smaller wings than theirs. It's kind of crazy how small they are. It's a pass for me. Stick to the pizza and you'll be good.

Great service, fish we ordered was soggy, better pizza and pasta also salads, pricey since the rent is very high, awesome desserts, nice ambiance.

Great service the guy that was there today , Friday white dude really nice and fast !! Pizza was 10/10. I'm lactose intolerant eat other pizzas and my stomach blows up , but this pizza doesn't make my stomach hurt!!! The ambiance is great!!! Keep up the good work and love giving them business since 2021.

GREAT Service by the two brothers that work Saturday night. Pizza is great even the crust. I usually don't eat the crust but crust here is the best!!

Hate to have to update my review. This has been my spot for pizza since my review in 2021. But today was hopefully just a one time mess up as Ameci's got my order wrong. Ordered a jumbo 3 topping pizza from Postmates with pepperoni, Canadian bacon & mushroom only to open my pizza and see that the pepperoni was swapped for pineapple!! Ugh I can't stand pineapple on my pizza, totally ruined! Of all toppings it had to be pineapple FML.

The pizza was good, but the pasta was not good at all. They also forgot my garlic bread. Double check your order before you leave and skip the pasta all together.

Did a pick up and ate garlic bread on the way home and they were WONDERFUL! Combination Pizza had fresh toppings and plenty of them. Would def go back but best eaten ASAP

Worst pasta don't ever get it super watery and I love Alfredo but this was the worst one ever

Ameci's Pizza is one of my favorite "small chain" pizza spots. The customer service at this Glendale location is accommodating and kind. They once delivered to me right before closing time with no attitude and even slightly out of delivery area - thank you! Their Deluxe pizza is my go to... pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, onions. It's a loaded pizza yet not heavy like some places make it. The crust is thinner and can hold the toppings together nicely; most importantly one can taste the sauce! This place isn't a artisan pizza spot and am ok with that. The Deluxe pizza here rocks!

Delicious pizza!! We ordered a margarita pizza and the tomatoes were extremely fresh and delicious! We also ordered a pizza with sausage and pepperoni which was also very good! Not very greasy which is great!

Mediocre services but the food is delicious. My sister in law recommended this pizza joint and I really enjoyed the margarita pizza! I definitely would return to try the Mediterranean pizza next time.

Great pizza great prices I've been ordering from this place for a while now and never disappoints I highly recommend the fried ravioli and the jumbo pizzas can't beat the price

For $56 we got 2 large pizzas (Meat lovers + Garlic Chicken Alfredo) and a large salad. My partner and I are usually used to local pizza spots having really small portions but they were huge!!! The pizza was delicious, even after picking it up a whole hour after it was done. Ingredients are fresh and the customer service was so lovely. They kept our food warm and ready. The little vibe in there was great, love their neon pizza sign. It was clean in there, definitely a great place to dine in as well. Would come here again

The pizza was OK but burnt. The however was very good. I did have it delivered to my hotel room. The delivery person got lost so it was Luke warm when it arrived and he was a little stand offish. May the restaurant itself is better.

The pizza is hot and delicious! It's certainly well worth shopping here. You really get a bang for your buck here. The staff is kind and attentive, the restaurant is clean and well decorated.

Always cheap, delicious and good service. Look out for discount and promotions as they usually have different type of deals.

Pizza Is really good, and tasty but every times I ordered, pizza always comes little cold

Quickly becoming my go to pizza and wings place for a last minute late night delivery. Every time, the food is fast and hot. Ordered the medium 12" thin crust with pepperoni and mushrooms extra cheese and classic hot 8pc wings with blue cheese. It's one of the few delivery pizzas I don't have to reheat. The texture and mix of ingredients is spot on. And the wings are moist, meaty and great flavor. It's so easy to mess up this combo, but after 5-6 times ordering, the consistency here is what keeps me coming back. At some point, I'll actually make it to the restaurant. For now, I'm a fan.

My brother had a coupon for a three topping large pizza, so we decided to give this place a try near the end of September. When we placed the order to this location, we realized that we forgot the coupon at home since we were running errands, but they honored it after we described it to them and said we would pick up our order there. We got mushroom, sausage, and pepperoni on top and were able to get a free garlic bread side after checking in when we picked up our pizza. We brought our food home and we're excited to dig in since the garlic bread smelled delicious. I was surprise that the garlic bread was the size of a personal pizza and was good on it's own, even though there was a side of marinara sauce to dip them in. The pizza itself was good and I appreciated that the crust was soft for a thin crust pizza. I would definitely go back for just the garlic bread though hehe

We've been searching and we finally found it...BEST calzone I've had in Los Angeles! Wow! I'll dream about it tonight...

Sooo good, meatballs and pizza are amazing but the pasta is not always cooked right but good, sauces are good and all of the food is always hot and good, service is very very good and quick , ambiance is not very good low lighting and weird colors, though in the end it doesn't really matter as long as the food is good.

We are visiting from out of town and wanted to try a pizza place. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza with fries and butter pasta for togo. Everything was good.

Can't stand a businesses that does the bait-and-switch. On Yelp it says 15% off - use code "insta15." Nothing worked online - like advertised - so I called. The guy couldn't care less, and said he didn't know what I was talking about. He had the personality of a green olive. Told him to check his own Yelp account and he didn't want to. So....I placed this review. There are so many pizza places in Glendale, so do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Ordered a pizza today , and it was the nastiest thing I've ever had.. not even Pizza Hut never comes as bad as this pizza came .. It was super oily .. I mean super oily that dough was soggy and falling apart yall don't buy from here Nasty

If you are into charred, burnt to a crisp pizza.. this is your place! The fact that someone can pull this pizza out of an oven and place into a box for a customer to eat, is beyond me!! This is HORRIBLE! We called spoke to the manager and his initial response was " what do you want me to do about it" he then proceeded to say he would make another pizza for us if we brought this burnt piece of dough back. Mind you we paid and tipped for chownow to deliver and waited about 1.5 hours. He offered to deliver a fresh pizza as long as we sent the burnt one back. I asked the manager if they quality check and he said they were very busy that night. After much frustration of being hungry and the back and forth, I asked the manager to refund my money and he did. Had the manager not had his initial bad attitude this experience would of gone much differently. SAVE YOUR MONEY folks DOMINOES does a better quality check than this place and better customer service.

The customer service here was really good. Very patient and nice. The pizza was very delicious. The crust is fluffy and crispy. I was able to get quality pizza and pay with EBT.

Stopped by on Sunday about 5:30 pm to get a Personal sized pizza for the NFL game. Had ordered a 10" and Arthur stepped up to offer me a Large pizza for the same price. Take that deal ..!! Somebody ordered pizzas for a party and then didn't pick them up. So they sold those pizzas for deep discounts. It was just my luck to be there at the right time. There's not much parking it's a small storefront on the street. However the pizza is really good just like any other Ameci pizza. The workers really care about making excellent pizza and want to make every customer happy. Well recommended, we will return.

three words: HOT. CHEETOS. PIZZA. i'd been eyeballing it for *ages* and finally decided to go for it - honestly, it was even better than i anticipated! ameci serves the pizza with the cheetos dust already on it (nice touch) and you get little bags to dump over your pizza as liberally as you choose. i thought the flavors might be overwhelming, but the dough stood up to the cheetos nicely and it ended up being a perfect balance of texture and flavor. i will shout their praises from the rooftop, so if you're a fan of hot chips and in the mood for something fun and different, this is definitely the place.

Fair prices, mediocre pizza, and indoor seating, however, these few positives are completely overshadowed by the horrible service. From the first encounter with the staff while trying to order over the phone, I received unreasonable attitude. After eating, my friend and I stayed for 5 minutes to play a quick card game (literally, speed) but were ushered out as the staff implied we were loitering. The same staff member that had answered our phone call, taken our payment, and watched us as we sat and ate the entire pizza prior. My hopes were raised by the high rating and praise from other reviewers, but I was quickly let down by the reality of this pizzeria.

Upon arrival, I was promptly greeted by staff- everyone was kind and helpful when deciding what to order. At first I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! This pizza had the perfect amount of cheese, with a nice kick to it. As a Hot Cheeto fanatic, this pizza was everything and MORE! I would definitely recommend coming here.

Ordered 8 customized Jumbo Pizzas and 3 trays of different wings for delivery at my work. Everyone loved it! Pizza was hot and fresh, chicken wings were delicious!!! Price was affordable, will definitely order again. Thank you Ameci staff!!!

First time ordering from Ameci. BF was craving pizza and I wanted to try someplace new. Let me just say....Yelpers, you were on point. Thank you Yelp family! Ordered a large deluxe thin crust pizza via DD. The box was sealed with a very strong sticker that I had to use scissors to cut. I'm very aware of how food is protected by the restaurant when ordering it for delivery. Now for the pizza. We were very happy with the pizza. Fresh ingredients that we were able to taste. No topping was too overwhelming. The bottom of the box was not greasy. The thin crust was perfect. It wasn't burnt on the bottom. It was nice golden brown color and cooked all the way through. We only order thin crust so we've had a myriad of crusts from overdone crusts that tasted like cardboard to crusts that weren't cooked all the way through. They nailed the crust. Will definitely order from here again. Thank you, Ameci!

I've gotten take out from this place a few times and the pizza is always warm and delicious. Toppings are generous and dough is on the thicker side. It's a no frills place but would definitely recommend if you're in the mood for pizza. Parking: small lot in the back that shares with other storefronts on the block.

The best pizza in California! Hands-down!!!! I lived in New York for many years and have family there; this pizza made me feel like I was back in Manhattan eating pizza watching traffic. My heart is so happy..

Ameci Pizza Kitchen offers a satisfying pizza. I ordered a Jumbo pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and fresh pineapple. The pizza had a chewy crust and not too greasy. I also ordered the pigs and the blanket. The pigs and the blanket could have used more flavor as the dough was very plain but tasted fine with ketchup. Overall - Ameci is a nice spot for casual takeout/delivery and great for game days!

Food is good service is amazeballs ambiance is awesome they have gluten-free pizza a lot of other places don't wtf it's 2023 people my gf is super allergic to gluten it will ruin her pretty face come on now Anyway enjoy

I ordered a pizza + wings combo a couple hours ago... Ameci left the food in the rain, in the dirt, in front of my APARTMENT COMPLEX! by the time i got out in the rain to get my food, someone had stolen it. hell, maybe it was the ameci delivery guy. it's raining! so long Ameci, it was real, it was nice. But tonight wasn't really nice. P.S. They charge money for a heart-shaped pizza. they literally just put the same dough into a heart. hell, they chop dough out of the pizza to do that!

Very unfortunate I have to write this review but this service is unacceptable. I literally asked for boneless wings the first time and they got it wrong the first time and gave me bone-in wings. I called and they told me to come back for the correct order. Made the drive and effort to pick up the correct order... only for them to mess up again. They gave me bone-in wings twice lollll. This has to be a joke. Pizza was ok though but at this point the lack of attention and care to get my order right was mind boggling. I'm definitely not going to make another attempt at this. All I can say is "wow" lol.

I have been eating at large pizza chains the last couple months that I almost forgot what good pizza tastes like. I was nearby & immediately ordered my go-to personal pizza with bell peppers & soon realized how much I missed comforting, good tasting pizza like this. I was feeling like pizza today but a good one... I wanted something good and flavorful.. I came across this place on Yelp and decided this would be dinner tonight. Everything was amazing.. service was great.. quiet place but we like that sometimes.. we were so hungry that I didn't get a picture of everything, but I got the aftermath... Will definitely be back..

I went by here to taste the pizza as a consideration for my son's upcoming birthday party, which will be held nearby. I ordered a personal combo pizza and it did not disappoint. It was delicious. I had some leftover and my husband ate it (without even asking me). He even asked where I got it from because it was so good. LOL The party is on January 13th and I already decided they will be provided the pizza. 10/10.

It was late and we just checked into our hotel. I decided to order pizza and call it a night. Delivery was quick. The food was nice and hot. Everything was delicious! My family and I enjoy it. We'll definitely be ordering again if we ever stayed in LA next time.
