Informally known to my best friend and I as the office headquarters! Yes, we love this place! We highly recommend the salmon and bucatini but anything on the menu is pretty good. I have even attended work events here. I firmly believe that the baked oysters need to be added back to the menu. Robbie was a great server last night. Staff is always great and kind. Thank you very much for your service!

Birthday Celebration Stoughton: I felt truly inspired to arrange a wonderful birthday for a dear friend. We had an ultimate dining experience at Amelia's. Everyone there was exceptional, from hosts, services, and chefs; it was truly an unforgettable dinner. The food was divine. And the birthday girl loved your lamb chops. Once again, thank you for going above and beyond to make my friend's birthday special and an outstanding event. I want to thank the manager for helping ensure the food was corrected promptly. Superb Italian high end dining experience- the food options for vegetarian were extraordinary and so unique in flavor and each dish cooked to perfection. The service was warm and entertaining and especially nice. They went out of their way to make a great vegetarian fettuccini. Stuffed mushrooms and eggplant rigatoni were delicious. We enjoyed the pasta, starters and incredible deserts for a wonderful night out - will be back and a special spot for special occasions

Impressed by the ambience; perfect for celebrating special events and dinner dates. The staff were polite and friendly. The menu is pretty decent and the food tasted great! Although mocktails were not advertised in the menu, we asked our waiter and he suggested a few options. We noticed some tables received complimentary bread, but we didn’t get one...so my only feedback is the service could be more consistent. But I'd still recommend this place and would go again.

Trying a new spot for Boston's Restaurant Week. Amelia's in Stoughton was such a lovely surprise. The atmosphere was nice it was section off but didn't feel separate. The hostess was great even though we were early for our reservation , we offered us a table or we could sit at the bar. After sitting, we were greeted, and our waiter was great and attentive. The bread was fresh, and the appetizers were delicious. The main dishes were the highlight of the night. The pasta was definitely homemade, and the lamb was cooked perfectly 👌🏾. I will say that with the lamb dish, you have to order a side in addition to the Dine out menu, which was odd. I look forward to going back

Couldn’t be happier with my experience at Amelia’s. The ambience is beautiful, the service was great, and the food was simply amazing. The photos online of the ambience does not do it justice. It’s clearly been upgraded. Went there for my birthday, and so glad I did. The calamari, crab cake, and rigatoni are excellent. The restaurant is huge, but was packed and for good reason. Looking forward to going back.

Loved the fancy atmosphere, it was a great place for an anniversary dinner. The food was good and waiter was nice! I would definitely come here for special occasions. It’s recommended to dress appropriately and definitely let them know if it’s a special occasion or event.

My boyfriend and I came here last night for dinner for the first time and had a very pleasant experience. We were big fans of Amelia's sister restaurant Sofia in West Roxbury which recently closed and wanted to check out their other location. The menu at Amelia's is almost identical to the old menu at Sofia and the restaurant is decorated similarly. We both ordered a 20 ounce Delmonico steak with a Gorgonzola sauce. The meat was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. We also shared a size of Brussel sprouts with bacon and apples and for our appetizer we ordered a special on the menu that evening- something that was similar to eggplant parmasan without the cheese. Our server was attentive and accommodating. All around, I give Amelia's 5 stars and would definitely come back. Food: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars

I've never been one to review or say something negative about an experience, however I was beyond insulted when walking in the door. When checking in for my reservation at 6:45, we were told that the kitchen is closing at 7 and that we would need to be out the door by 7:30 due to a "last minute function". No notification prior to getting there (and after we hired a babysitter). I had this reservation for 2 weeks and was part of a Christmas present. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Amelia's ever again.

Overall, a cozy candle lit spaces with background of a fireplace, classy and semi upscale. The service was excellence! You will have to be patient but it's parking lot want reservation are booked up fast. The food was well seasoned and marinated. The lamp chop 10/10, risotto 7, tuna tartare ( very well executed) 8/10, drinks 10/10 and the waiter smiling and friendly which is so refreshing! The cheese cake with strawberries so delicious! I would return for dinner and try a wine option, they have a good selection.

Stopped by for a quick bite and drink. We had the tuna tartare, steak and cheese egg rolls, and cocktails. The steak and cheese egg rolls were a win for me. I'd highly recommend. I wasn't a fan of the tuna tartare because it was sweet, as were the chips accompanying it. I'll plan to revisit and have a full meal and provide a fulsome review. The additional star of the show was Tyler. He was our waiter. I was surprised to hear that he was new to the job!

Great dinner at Amelia's last night The chicken wings were AMAZING. Drinks were great. Service was excellent. Our friend got the lamb chops. They looked perfect and she said they were perfect. Chicken parm was average but good enough. I'd be back for sure.

I went here with my family for Boston's restaurant week. I have been hearing rave reviews about this spot so I could not wait to try... My goodness, Amelia's did not disappoint! Our waiter (I wish I got his name), was fantastic and we literally ordered every single one of his recommendations! The salmon with lobster ravioli was creamy and decadent. The coconut shrimp was lightly fried and the creamy Dijon dipping sauce went perfectly. The lemon drop martini was perfect, not too strong or too light, and chilled. And to end the evening, we had the white chocolate bark cheesecake. My taste buds were in heaven! The atmosphere was dark and classy. The perfect date night, or dinner after church. They have a dress code so wear your Sunday best lol! In conclusion, we had an amazing time and would most definitely return soon to try other items on the menu!

Went here for takeout. Place has plenty of parking so one less thing to worry about. Pick up process was somewhat confusing. I asked the person in the front who directed me to the bar area. Then the bartender had to check in the back. It took some time but long story short got my food. Pappardelle was fine but nothing memorable. A little pricey but seems like a good place to celebrate special occasions. It is dark inside if that is your thing.

Dark wood, dim lights and roaring fireplaces make this restaurant a must try for a romantic date or a fun night out with family and friends. Round booths, comfortable seating abound. Servers are impeccably trained to "wow" you with their attention to detail and quality of care. You will feel like you are their only guest. Great food. Always consistent. I was not happy about a kitchen gratuity added to my bill along with regular tip. Also not happy about the a la cart feature. I think unfortunately we are done with Amelia's after going there every special occasion as well ad Christmas Eve. ​

Amelia's is an absolutely fantastic spot for a date night or really any occasion. My wife and I came in at 5:30p on a Friday night and we were seated within 2-3 minutes. Our server, Julia, did a great job from start to finish. Very polite, and stopped in periodically while also giving us space to enjoy our meals and conversations. We split two half salads (and I love that they offer half portions), one Caesar and one arugula. Both were very fresh. For dinner, I got the delmonico, which was perfectly cooked (medium rare, obviously) and very tasty. I also got a half-portion of the pappardelle (short rib in burgundy). My wife had the chicken parm, which ended up good for two meals. All in all, fantastic experience and we'd highly recommend.

I had a reservation for dinner. We started with the grilled octopus. It was chopped up in pieces and I've never seen it that way before. Despite that, it was good. It really didn't need the red onions, cilantro, or tomatoes. I get that it makes the portion bigger. The lamb chops were cooked the way we wanted but for $39, we expected at least 5 brussels sprouts or something - not completely a La cart. We order grilled asparagus to supplement the chops. We also ordered the cavatappi and it was good. The portion is big enough for lunch leftovers. Our service was average. Our waters/ drinks were never refilled. We were also charged a service fee, which made me cringe. What is this for? Is this a tip? It's not like we were a party of 6+.

Celebrated my birthday once again ( didn't get a birthday dessert , next time though ) and my Daughter Amelia's first visit ( she was beyond happy with her spaghetti and sauce bowl , left nothing on that bowl ) The staff is very friendly, great service by everyone that approached us and the food fresh and delicious as always . Our waitress specially was very attentive to details , like suggestions for the kids ( she definitely knew kids don't order certain things because they see a random ingredient lol) . keeping our table neat and replenished by stopping by very often . Food was good, service was exceptional. Our waitress kept coming back and checking up on us. It had a romantic dim lit vibe. It was my friends birthday and they gave us a complimentary dessert to celebrate. We came 30 minutes early to our reservation and got seated early.

Our server was tremendous! The menu was updated removing three items and one was the saganaki that my wife loves. Still a 5 but we won't be back for a while.

We went to Amelia's for my nieces 21st birthday. The food was so good, I ate everything! I ordered the lamb and my niece had the New York strip. The service was awesome! I loved our waiter he was on it! Always made sure our table was attended to clean and just simply checked in. I could not be more pleased. The ambiance was relaxed and intimate great for any celebration or simply a night out with your friends and loved ones.

We came for a baby shower. The food was good the service was great. We also visited their sister restaurant which just closed in (3/2/24) but both places have the same feel and quality. My pics are from Sophia's but it's a sample of what you can expect at Amelia's! Go and enjoy!

The night started in the lounge with Lemon Drops all around. Connor made me feel welcomed as I was earlier than the rest of the party. We transitioned from the bar to our table where we could not have been served any better than the job done by Shannon. She helped us with choices of apps and entrees. She was just the right amount of attentive. She was great about checking on the GF options and any cross contaminations before we shared any foods. The food was scrumptious. We had dishes of pasta, lamb, steak, and short rib. Dessert was crème brûlée and some gelato. The place was hopping for a Wednesday night with just the right mix of young/old/couples to set a fun night out time. We all got to join in a round of 'Happy Bday' to a table nearby and it really was a night to remember because of the staff, the food, and the cocktails. Thank you and see you soon!

Excellent food. Excellent service. Very reasonable pricing. The bread oil and butter start was delicious. We warmed up with the arancini which were delicious. My wife had the starler chicken which she said was good and I had the 8 oz filet. It was cooked perfectly and had great flavor! The waitress made 2 excellent cappuccinos for dessert. This was our first time here but we will be back.

Great neighborhood restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The pappardelle with braised short ribs was perfectly prepared, tender and succulent. My guests loved the shrimp bucatini, with a generous portion of shrimp. Our server Jack was quietly attentive which added to a lovely dinner. I'll definitely be back.

Excellent all around. No wait for table. Food was awesome. Steaks were melt in your mouth good. The corn risotto very good. My grandson loved the pizza off kids menu. It was just a great experience. It was very relaxing and leisurely dining experience. The ambience is great. We will be back.

Stopped by this place recently because of the great reviews. The waiter was wonderful but other than that this place was a no go for us. The restaurant is huge, the food mediocre at best, with small portions and high prices. Although we had totally different meals we both got sick later that night.
