"Established in 2001, this cozy neighborhood Italian spot has long been the perfect place to settle in at the bar or the charming dining room and enjoy a glass of wine and a big bowl of spaghetti alla chitarra and meatballs. In the warmer months, the patio is lovely as well." - Erika Adams

Food was AMAZING! Not only that - the owners of the restaurants are beyond kind and generous. Staff were so attentive and the environment was beautiful. I am from TX and this is my first time ever in MA and I couldn't have gone to a better restaurant for my first night in town. If you're looking for beautiful and tasty Italian food, they have an amazing chicken Parmesan, delicious appetizers, and a perfect ambiance. 10/10 recommend - swing by for dinner with friends, date night, or even just some cocktails! Love this spot and if I'm ever back in Cambridge, I will absolutely be back!

Absolutely wonderful experience! I went here with my parents for their anniversary and we had a great time. Wonderful drinks, delicious food, really great service. Highly recommend! As I always mentioned in my reviews when relevant, going here supports a small local business; the best kind of business!

This place served carbonara with egg that we found confusing 😅 but we greatly enjoyed all the dishes, the vibe and the service.

We went to Amelia’s Trattoria last night, and the food was delicious! We started with the octopus, and I had the vongole linguine, and my partner got the special (lobster ravioli). The dishes were well prepared, and they were generous portions! I will come back in the future!

Came for a glass of wine and some appetizers after work one Friday. The calamari was okay - a lot of peppers included in the mix if you like that with a decent dipping sauce. The truffle fries were skinny shoestrings. In our opinion, there was too much of the truffle Parmesan, kind of overpowering the fries themselves. Did not any of the main courses, but would come back to give them a go. It was lovely to sit outside with the heaters and the service was great.

Google
Casual neighborhood Italian kitchen that serves good pasta. My friend and I walked in here on a busy Friday night. We got the last available table near the entrance, and our table was barely four inches apart from the others. We had to move around every time servers tried to pass through that gap, and as a result, we had an extremely difficult time focusing on our meal. Nevertheless, our server did her best not to disturb us and she was very accommodating throughout the evening. For the appetizers, we had the arancini and the caponatina. Topped with fresh parmesan and basil, caponatina on a toasted bread was a delightful start to the meal. Arancini was good, but the crust was too thick and heavy to be a good appetizer. From the entrées, our favorite was the bolognese. Each bite of the braised short ribs combined with the classic shaved grana padano and fresh basil toppings exploded with flavor. On the other hand, spaghetti alla vongole was underwhelming. The thick noodles failed to soak up the sauce and resulted in an unappealing mass. Zappa di pesce was essentially Frutti di mare without the pasta noodles, and it was just okay for the price. Overall, a good spot in a quiet neighborhood to enjoy Italian food in a homey atmosphere. Would probably come back for their bolognese if I don’t want the hassle of traveling all the way to the North End.

We love Amelia’s! The tomato sauce that the PEI mussels come in is the best we’ve ever tasted. Amazing pasta dishes (we had the bolognese and pappardelle) with great flavor and you can tell that the pasta is fresh. We also really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

Google
We went to Trattoria Amelia last night and were lucky to get a table. We chose a nice Montepulciano to start and has some mussels too. We took our time and were not rushed. My husband had the special ravioli with ricotta, mushrooms, spinach. They were delicious. I had a Mediterranean salad with extra anchovies. Lots of great flavors. We also shared a tiramisu and enjoyed that!! Can’t wait to go back.

Yelp
One Saturday afternoon we spontaneously decided that we wanted to eat here for dinner. Thankfully there were still tables available on OpenTable to make a reservation. Once we showed up I realized that making a reservation was a good idea because the restaurant was packed. Throughout our meal I noticed other customers waiting by the door for a table. Two of us split the grilled octopus ($22), bolognese ($32), and veal saltimbocca ($35). They also gave us a small portion of bread with a savory bean dip. The bread was on the denser side but still very flavorful. The grilled octopus came on a bed of sauteed vegetables with a generous portion of a spicy aioli. The vegetables were fresh and lightly salted. The grilled octopus had a very crispy outside which made it taste more fried than grilled. While it was tasty, I was hoping for something more smoky. I don't think I've ever had a bolognese with a creamy sauce base, but the bolognese was delicious! The pasta was perfectly al dente and the shape of the pasta allowed each noodle to cling to the sauce. The sauce was creamy and meaty. I would order this again. I wasn't a big fan of the veal saltimbocca. The veal was tender, but underseasoned so it did not taste like much. The mushrooms and sauce were tasty, but unfortunately the sauce was too thin to cling to anything. I would not have minded if the vegetables were cooked softer. We chose to have some wine with our meal but I noticed other customers ordering cocktails which looked very interesting. I would try their cocktails the next time I come here.

Yelp
So good y'all. We had an amazing dinner here. Do make a reservation. It fills up fast. We started out with the daily arancini which was really good. For my entree I got the spaghetti with the clams. It was really good with a little bit of heat. I loved it. Spaghetti tasted so fresh. My sister got the veal and said hers was great too. Free bread for the table came with this amazing spread. Sooo good. I also had an Italian mule. Fantastic!! We loved it here. The staff were super nice. We were well taken care of! I look forward to another visit next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Came here for an early Friday dinner and we were one of only two to three parties for almost the entire duration of the meal. This wasn't a bad thing, just made the ambiance quiet and a bit more intimate. We came with a reservation and were seated quite quickly. Our server took our orders pretty fast and the food came out relatively soon after so that made the experience pleasant. The calamari and salad were good starters. Nothing out of this world, but decent quality for a good price. The free bread was also nice, although a little too cold for my liking and hard to chew. The pastas were pretty solid. Well-cooked, good flavor, and plenty to eat; I had enough for leftovers and took some home for lunch the next day. Really delicious! The dessert was okay - honestly a little overpriced, but still tasted good. I'd recommend getting a sweet treat elsewhere though as the size was pretty disappointing. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this spot for dinner again. Thanks, Amelia's!

Yelp
I really wish I could have given more stars to this place. The interior is cozy, and the staff are really nice, but the food was much too salty in almost all of the dishes ordered and was very difficult to eat - I ended up not eating most of my food, which is rare occurrence. This was for lunch on a weekday and the restaurant was very empty, so I thought there would be more attention to detail, too, so it was especially disappointing. Dishes ordered: -calamari: the batter was fried nice and crisp, but the inside was slightly overcooked, still acceptable, but was quite salty, the only thing that compensated for it a little was the plain leaves of spinach underneath -caponatina: toast paired well with a sweet tomato-based eggplant dish, cooked through. Only thing I would order from this place. -italiano panini: the bread itself has large bits of salt in it, and all other ingredients in it do not balance it out, only adding to the saltiness. The greens in it are not ideal to handle the high heat of the panini, and did not match or help out the rest -side salad: I ordered a caesar salad out of the options (tomato soup, garden salad, caesar salad, fries) and this was also way too salty and I have no idea how that happened. We told the waitstaff, and she brought in a salad with the dressing on the side, which was somehow not as salty as the dressed salad. the leaves were also quite wilty

Yelp
I haven't been able to stop talking about our dinner at Amelia's! 2 years ago, when I first moved to the area, I spotted Amelia's quaint and romantic spot. It's been on my 'must try' forever & Saturday was finally the night to celebrate my anniversary. We made reservations since the space is small, which was absolutely the right call. Ours were earlier, around 6:15, but the restaurant soon got packed. Shortly, after being seated, we ordered cocktails and calamari. I loved the flavors of my bellini! The calamari were perfect. Not overly fried, but just the right amount to pair with the sauce. We also enjoyed the dipping sauce that came with the bread provided. It did have a bit of a kick to it, like red pepper flakes, as a warning. We ended up both ordering the Ravioli of the Night. I never like to order the same meal, but we couldn't resist. Seriously, the best ravioli i've ever had. You could tell the pasta was homemade & the sauce. I hope they make this a regular menu item! Yes, it was expensive. But, what a wonderful surprise for not being in the North End! I want to come back soon!

Yelp
Every time I've had the pleasure of dining at Amelia's , I have never been let down. Superb food, excellent service, and a wonderful place to have lunch or diner. I love this restaurant!

Yelp
Romantic little Italian restaurant on the outskirts of Kendall square and on the border of Area IV. You definitely need a reservation especially if trying to dine on a weekend. We arrived at 8:00 pm with reservation and was promptly seated indoors at our reserved spot in an otherwise full house. The restaurant itself is quite cozy so it can feel a little loud when packed. Once seated we were served water and complimentary bread and some kind of homemade tomato-based dip. Let me tell you, the bread which I think was a homemade focaccia and the special tomato mystery dip were out of this world. Probably my favorite part of this evening. Aside from the complimentary bread, we got the truffle fries to start, wild mushroom pappardelle, and the regular homemade spaghetti without meatballs - all split between 2 people. The fries themselves were mediocre as they were rather thin and kind of floppy, but they had the most wonderful truffle aroma that really stuck to your senses when eating. The pastas were both excellent quality and you can tell the pappardelle had this hand-pulled texture to it reminiscent of asian-style hand pulled noodles. The spaghetti sauce was really tasty and full-bodied but felt there wasn't enough spaghetti in ratio with the amount of sauce. The pappardelle was also delicious and the mushrooms paired wonderfully well with the parmesan but it was a little too drenched in olive oil for our taste. The food is a little on the pricier side but the dishes were so tasty and had such incredible balance and comprehension that it's all worth. tldr; romantic Italian restaurant in a quiet area between Kendall and Central that serves some of the tastiest Italian pasta that is well worth the price.

Yelp
The food was really good, we received recommendations about the wine from the waitress and ended up loving it :) It was really cozy and romantic perfect for a date

Yelp
Small cozy (can get crowded) Italian restaurant with OK food. Appetizer Caponatina eggplant is tasty, creamy polenta with wild mushrooms is good. Spaghetti alla vongole could be more al dente, comes with little neck clams in white wine garlic sauce. Tiramisu is standard OK. Classic cannolis come in 3 mini-size cannolis.

Yelp
Went here with work colleagues. Food was great for everyone. Great service as well. I had the pappardelle, so good! Lots of vegetarian options. Good for groups and wasn't too loud but not quiet.

Yelp
We love Amelia's! Solid yummy food every time, kind staff, and adorable outdoor (and indoor) seating.

Yelp
We ordered in from Amelia's, so I can't speak to the service or ambiance. We started with the antipasto for two. It's got tons of variety, with lots cheeses, meats, veggies, and more. We had leftovers, and the two of us shared it. The steak frites is delicious! They use hangar steak, and it's flavorful, tender, and cooked well. The fries are skinny and yummy. I had the papardelle with mushrooms. I love it. The pasta is fresh and has great texture. The mushroom sauce has lots of mushrooms and adds a lot without being too rich. All of the portions are large and lasted us two extra meals.I would get this meal again tomorrow.I am looking forward to eating here in person.

Margaret K.

Yelp
Disappointed. We've had great experiences in the past and were excited to celebrate a special occasion at Amelia's tonight. We arrived on time for our 7:15 reservation which was specifically for outdoor seating. "Hi we have a reservation for outside at 7:15". I was told that it "didn't matter" about our reservation. "I have tables that haven't left yet. They leave when they leave, Honey. Or I guess I could seat you inside." I understand tables may linger and it's tough to turn tables over, however I was so disappointed in the misogynistic, condescending response from the individual we interacted with. If you have a table that is slow, please don't make it my fault that I've showed up on time for the reservation. Have some grace. Or professionalism. His behavior definitely didn't live up to the previous service we received here from highly qualified and skilled professionals. We ended up leaving.

Yelp
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing drinks 5/5. Was one of my best restaurant experiences in Boston

Yelp
Went with a small group. The restaurant is cozy inside and small, but good ambiance. We ordered a couple apps. The truffle fries had a strong truffle flavor. The polenta was really good(had truffle oil in it too). It was my first time trying it and the next day I cooked polenta at home ha! You get bread and oil which is a 4 out of 5! My salmon meal was just ok. Was dry and lacked flavor. My coworkers who got macaroni loved their dishes. We also split a few desserts and my favorite was the donuts(Americanized Zeppole)....my drink was the best item of the night, a peach rita. It was on the specials list.

Yelp
It was small quaint place! The service was great! We had Paola as our sever. The food was delicious we got the roasted butternut ravioli (so good) and the steak! We got the spinach Aricini also creamy and tasty. The make their own pasta! We ordered espresso martini, lemon drop martini and the fig mule all yummy. Would definitely go back.

Yelp
What a cute little place. It reminded us of a NY restaurant. Small, quaint and good food. Started off with an amazing bottle of wine, spicy and smooth. We ordered arancini appetizer and it was one of the best we've ever had. The inside was literally smooth and creamy. I ordered the mushroom pappardelle pasta. It came with 5 types of mushrooms, truffle oil and was super good. The other dish we ordered was bolognese which was very tasty but we both felt could have used a little salt. They make fresh pasta here and that is NOT mentioned on the menu and thankfully our waiter mentioned it. Fresh pasta is a game changer for me so please add that info to your website, to your menu for those who dont know. By the time we were leaving it got very busy and there was only one waiter and now he was the bartender, server, waiter, table cleaner etc. Another staff person would have been a good idea. If you live in the area, as it is a walkable area in Cambridge, I highly recommend it!

Yelp
Another wonderful anniversary dinner at Amelia's Trattoria! This post-pandemic and 'getting back into the swing of things' meal consisted of: Appetizers: Antipasto of Meats and Cheeses, Arancini, and Creamy Polenta with Wild Mushrooms Main Courses: Pasta Norma and Zappa di Pesce Drinks: Whirlpool by Night Shift Brewing in Everett (American Pale Ale) and Strawberry Fields (cocktail) Dessert: Take-home Tiramisu

Regina F.

Yelp
We are regulars at Amelia's and there has always been consistency in its food. The antipasto was delicious as is true of all their appetizers. M;any entrees have always been top flight in the past. I have had the lobster ravioli in the past at $45; it was the best I have ever had with pieces of lobster in each ravioli. So on New Year's Eve we returned and I ordered it again from our usual, lovely waitress. The ravioli was filled with ricotta and 3 tiny pieces of lobster were on top swimming in tomato sauce. I brought the change in recipe to our waitress' attention. She apologized many times and acknowledged the change. She said she would bring it to the kitchen's attention. Nothing was done in terms of offering another dish or pricing. It is our favorite warm and cozy Italian spot. They also reduced the size of my husband's zuppa di pesce over risotto milanese. They are skimping with same high prices. Unsure of returning though we will miss it. Amelia's-please return to the quality you always offered.

Yelp
We made a reservation here for two for a celebration dinner tonite. The website asked if there was a special occasion and I replied "birthday." My 70th milestone birthday. My husband who is Abruzzese by birth and has many family members living in Abruzzo Italy chose the Carbonara dish and I chose the Ravioli of the Night dish. Both dishes were SWIMMING IN SAUCE which is NOT typical of Abruzzese dishes. Because of all the sauce, the flavor was lost in too much soupy sauce. The olive Primo was ridiculous, laden with way too many of the same type of green olive and some old arugula leaves. The restaurant should have offered a variety of olives with fresh arugula. We ordered the cannoli dessert and the panna cotta dessert which were okay. We also ordered two Limoncello liqueurs which were served in large glasses warm instead of chilled in small cordial glass. Limoncello is typically served cold. The restaurant was not at the level it should have been to be qualified as a true Italian restaurant and it seemed an insult to the Abruzzese to serve food and drink that was far less in quality as that offered in the Abruzzo region of Italy. This restaurant should know better. American diners may not know any better and may think this restaurant rocks but we are not in agreement. If management were paying attention to this review, they'd change their offerings to improve the dining experience for their clientele. And, my birthday never got even just a lit candle in the dessert. What's the point of asking if there is a special occasion???

Yelp
This is my first visit to this restaurant for a business lunch. I enjoyed the cozy environment and the open kitchen! I ordered pasta veal mushroom. The pasta were handmade and very al dente! The taste was very delicious and the veal was very good. I really enjoy this meal and especially having a nice strong espresso after, it was delightful! Very affordable price for Kendall area!

Yelp
Fabulous experience here tonight with my girl. Small and cozy space, great holiday decor, attentive and friendly staff. Prices were what I would expect for nicer food in the Cambridge area. Has the brick pressed chicken which was delicious inna butter sauce with farm fresh veggies. Girlfriend had delicious butternut squash and sage gnocchi. Definite revisit

Yelp
Blown away by everything here! I don't know why they don't have at least a 4 star average rating. As soon as I walked into Amelias I was struck by the amazing vibe. This is the spot to come to for a date, or with friends or even a family for a nice meal. The service was top-notch (our server was Lucas who is one of the best servers I've ever had!). He did a great job of recommending drinks and dishes, telling us about each one in detail. The charcuterie was more like an antipasto, which was awesome. The pasta was melt-in-your mouth delicious. I don't love bolognese but the short rib bolognese here was amazing. Amelia's has outdoor patio seating, which is going to come in clutch as the weather gets warmer.

Victor D.

Yelp
I really think COVID put a nail in the coffin in regards to the restaurant industry! Goodness I wanted this place to be good. The service was 2 stars. The two ladies (no manager on the floor) were very attentive and nice. They were busy with big parties but did their best. A manager on the floor would of helped with door dash and Uber eats orders that had the ladies running around. The food was beyond terrible. The meatballs were raw and sour. The pasta was decent. The Caesar salad was average. Ehhh I think cooking at home is just going to be the only way to go.

Tatyana Z.

Yelp
I often pass by this restaurant but finally got to try it the other night! The restaurant is cozy and small but offers great service and amazing Italian food and drinks! My friend and I both ordered the bolognese and got espresso martini and the strawberry fields cocktails. The espresso martini was one of the best I've had in the city and the strawberry fields drink was equally tasty and refreshing. The braised rib bolognese was delicious and a decent size portion for leftovers the next day. Amelia's offers a daily special appetizer, entree, and cocktail and was reasonably priced compared to other Italian restaurants in Cambridge or Seaport.

Fran R.

Yelp
Was staying in Cambridge and decided to drop in - Wow - the grilled Octopus appetizer was amazing, my wife is gluten sensitive but enjoyed an incredible roasted eggplant and rigatoni entree while I had the clams and home made pasta. We finished it off with the homemade cannolis and some lemon cello. Serve and wait staff was second to none. Highly recommended if you want a quality, non rushed dining experience

Yelp
Great spot for date night. It is a little tight and hard to maneuver within the restaurant, but aside from that, the food is very tasty. I got one of the pastas, and it was one of the better pasta dishes I have had in Boston. Anticipate spending a bit of money, as the price range is on the higher end.

Yelp
Not bad, not spectacular. Came here with 8 coworkers for a function on a weeknight, and our table was waiting for us when we arrived. We were promptly greeted, and then asked for our wine order. They have a a fairly extensive list, and everyone seemed to enjoy what they had (I didn't drink b/c #DryJanuary). From here,we ordered apps; contrary to other Yelpers, the Truffle Fries were good, and the fried risotto was a hit. The meatballs were okay, but not my favorite. They lacked flavor, and fell apart too easily. We also ordered squid and calamari, but I'm allergic to shellfish, so no dice for me. They also bring you complimentary bread. For my main, I had the squash gnocchi and I was quite pleased. It was a nice departure from the typical potato gnocchi, and had a tasty hint of cinnamon. Others got the potato gnocchi with scallops, grilled salmon, and mussels, among other things. After dinner, we ordered the tiramisu, and a couple of other dishes, which were good but not memorable.... which summarizes my overall experience here. It was by no means a bad spot, but something about the ambiance + the food has it just missing a 4-star review. Service was good, not great. Everything was good, just not great. Overall, for an app, main, desert and wine, I would suspect the ~$75 range, which is par for the area. The place is often very busy, and has very few tables that are closely packed, so be sure to make a reservation is you plan to come during peak hours. I've also read that this is a great spot for a business lunch. Dress is casual - we were in business casual work clothing, but others were dressed in much more relaxed streetwear. The bathrooms are down a flight of stairs, so be cautioned if anybody in your party requires wheelchair accessibility. Overall, I'd recommend to a friend, but not positive I'll come back, if that makes any sense...

Yelp
Good appetizers. Enjoyed the calamari with the crispy peppers. The ravioli Bella is good too, but my friend's ravioli was not fully cooked and the edges were still hard.

Yelp
What good food! This was our first time eating Amelia's food since the pandemic started. We ordered takeout and are glad we did. It was such a pleasure to eat our favorite entree, Pappardelle. This wild mushroom pasta is a treasure. Our calamari was particularly good with its fried vinegar peppers and purple onions. The heat of the Calarian chili Aioli was just right. The Caponatina was a pleasant surprise. I was afraid the crostinis would get mushy in the travel time back home. But they packed it very carefully so that they were crisp and ready for us to load on the excellent eggplant antipasto and shaved cheese. So do your civic duty, as the Boston Globe's Takeout Project suggests, and head to Amelia's. They were also open tonight for very well-distanced indoor dining.
google avatar

Denise B.

Yelp
Very small restaurant and the food is not something to be desired. I wouldn't even come here for drinks because it's overpriced. Save the trip. I ordered a Sauvignon Blanc which tasted horrible and I had the calamari, which was over fried.

Kathleen N.

Yelp
What a great little Italian place! My friends and I were just looking for a bite before going to the movies and this is a short walk from the Kendall Square, Cinema. We were dining early so the place was empty when we arrived but by the time we left it was pretty full. Menu was interesting and food is delicious! Our waiter, Mohammed, was attentive and really made our night! Highly recommend!

Yelp
The atmosphere and interior deserve 5 stars, and I wish I could have enjoyed the place on a cool summer night when the floor to ceiling windows would open up to the patio. But on a chill autumn evening, it was the perfect spot for late dinner. It's cozy inside so we had to wait for our table for 4 even after making a reservation in advance, being careful not to bump any of the tables on our way to our seats The bread and aoili were an excellent start, light and flavorful. I ordered the baby spinach salad with goat cheese, pancetta, and pickled shallots. Not a 5-star salad as the sourness from the shallots unfortunately conquered most other flavors that would otherwise make this salad notable. It was missing that special kick, but at least the ingredients, both the greens and the cheese, were noticeably fresh. I ended up stealing numerous bites of my boyfriend's paparadelle with truffle oil and mushrooms. I was delighted by the texture of the pasta and the presence but not dominance of the truffle. Would recommend this dish.

Yelp
I came here last night and think I may have found a new go-to spot for Italian! The place is very small, so making a reservation is definitely recommended. Although we were able to snag two seats at the bar. We started with the calamari which was delicious. For dinner my girlfriend had the fusilli in the bolognese sauce. I thought using short rib instead of ground meat was a nice touch. I had the chicken entree which was one of the best I've had to date. The meat was so tender and the veggie assortment was delish! I thought the portion sizes and prices were very fair. I also thought for such a small space, and being so busy, the 2 servers they had running the show did a great job. I'm already looking forward to my next meal here!
google avatar

Helena Q.

Yelp
A little on the pricey side for lunch -- most of the pastas were in the 20$ range. I had the combo pasta, which had both chicken and shrimp. They were slightly overcooked, but the pasta was al dente. The sauce was a little too sweet/sour for my taste, but I think it would be great if you liked that flavor profile. The ambience is nice and cozy, but be warned -- the space fills up quickly for lunch. Arriving at 11:45, there wasn't a line though.

Yelp
I came here over the winter with a friend after having found it on this site, looking for another new place to try out. I really like Italian/American cuisine and this menu seemed to offer all the standards but with a slightly higher price tag. We made a reservation just to be safe but arrived around 5:30PM on a Saturday, so it was still pretty empty (the restaurant opens at 5PM). As I said before, it's a small place and the tables are pretty cramped, but it's got a nice cozy/sophisticated atmosphere. There's also a super small bar but it looks decent and actually fits in well with the rest of the restaurant. Our server was nice and friendly (as is the case at almost all the places I eat at). He explained the specials and also noted that they could make most traditional items even if it wasn't on their menu. We started with a couple drinks and the calamari appetizer which came out promptly and both tasted great. I ordered a seafood special which came with an assortment of shrimp, scallops, etc. in a light spicy broth with linguine and my friend had salmon. We both loved our dishes - everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We've gone back a few times since then and I've recently been ordering the pasta carbonara. I saw this dish on the online menu but it wasn't in their printed version. When I asked about it, our server said they could definitely make it for me and it's turned out to be one of my all time favorite pasta dishes. This place is great for family, friends, a night out, etc. It's pricier than your average Italian/American eatery but you won't regret it!

The food was AMAZING. We booked last minute and sat at the bar - service was 10/10 even though they were super busy and it's a small place. Food and drinks were unbelievable. Super happy we ended up finding this place.

Yelp
Perhaps we ordered poorly, but we found the food average. I'd be curious to try the caprese and the polenta in the future, but honestly will not seek out their fare.

Yelp
Restaurant was very tight, both the table in front of us and behind us did not budge to let us into our seats at the table. Very frustrating! Server was personable, unfortunately he was the only one working, he did have a busier w. Getting his attention was not always easy. The server did understand the menu and helped with ordering, decision making. Bread was good, oil paired well with. We ordered truffle fries, very pricey for the portion. Delicious but not worth the price. I will say all of the dishes were beautifully plated and tasty! Definitely going back, hopefully I will have more chair space the next time.

Yelp
tl;dr worth a visit. They served arancini and meatballs at the beginning of the meal. The tomato sauce was lacking in flavor, TBH. I had the salmon and their house salad. The salmon was cooked really well. I would really recommended. The salad was prepared well as well. Overall, I felt the meal was unusually heavy, which I suppose is fine, but it wasn't the most delicious thing I'd ever eaten. The bill came out to $386 for 6 people, which is alright, I suppose, but at that price point, I've definitely eaten better.

Yelp
Best chicken parm sandwich I've ever had, hands down. The focaccia bread, the sauce, the crispy chicken, the cheese... all perfect.

Yelp
A decent Italian restaurant in Kendall square. It is certainly a bit on the pricier side. I would expect a bit more from each dish at that price but it was an over all good experience. I went for a team dinner with my company and the service was good, it was not busy that day on a weekday. I ordered calamari to share as an appetizer and that was my favorite dish. It came over polenta and the calamari was a balance between soft and crunchy. Often times they can be too crumbly and crispy which was not the case. The polenta was a great compliment! I had the chicken entree and it was good but nothing impressive that really jumped out to my tastebuds. Also for dessert we shared the tiramisu with a side of vanilla gelato. Gelato was yummy but the tiramisu didn't have a homemade taste to it. I get the feeling its outsourced? The one thing that stood out to me was the Italian wine options. I had a glass of white that I do not remember the name of but it was delicious!

Yelp
Wouldn't recommend. Ordered spaghetti with meatballs, lacking in flavor and depth, pasta itself wasn't particularly memorable. My fiance thought his bolognese was decent. Seating at the bar was poorly designed and uncomfortable, not enough leg room. When my meal arrived I asked for black pepper, seeing three large pepper grinders by the chef's window, I was brought pepper in a shaker. Bartender/waiter never checked in to make sure we had what we needed. Manhattan was dry, no Vermouth selection. Best thing was the $10 glass of Italian red.

Yelp
For my birthday, my friends took me here for dinner. We had an early reservation for 6 but one wasn't able to make it. To preface it, the restaurant is very small. Our table was right around as you come in through the door and it was very oddly spaced because it's a corner with an extra table at the end. but we couldn't sit all the way in on one side because it would block the party before us from exiting or the waitress from going to their table. again, oddly shaped. Everything we ordered were good, except for one. Here's what we got: Antipasto For Two (very good choices), Truffle frites - where's the truffle? Linguine alla Vongole - very fresh and very good. the clams were large and cooked just right, not overly done and chewy. Braised Short Rib Bolognese - by far, this was one of my favorites. comfort and flavor. so very good. paparadelle with truffle oil and mushrooms was also amazing! All the pasta dishes were good, especially the al dente of the pasta. Zuppa di pesce - Muscles, clams, calamari, shrimp, scallops and white fish in a light sauce over risotto. I think they screwed up the rissotto. it was soup. Oh, and it had a funny smell, like it wasn't fresh. my friends agreed as well. Ribeye with fries and arugula. It was decent. For Dessert: Panna Cotta - excellent. lemon zest. Pear tart, also really good. We were all spoiled in that we are close friends and so we all shared our dishes with each other so we get to taste everything. :) Service started very good. But soon the other big party came in, it was nearly dead and we didn't get water refilled and towards the end, we felt a little rushed. we can understand why because they had other reservations. they gave us the check before we asked and we didn't order dessert yet. We were not impressed with all the mispellings on their menu either. and also, the price on the men on opentable is not the same as in the restaurant.

Yelp
If you're in the mood for a great meal, then this is the place to come! The food is definitely really good and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for some good Italian food.

Yelp
Good find...small and quant. Food and service was good. A limited menu, but still have a variety of choices.

Yelp
Very good! Small little place. Nice decor. Spinach Arancini was good. Meatballs simple and nice. Grilled Caesar was great! Veal saltimbocca and short rib Bolognese were also good. They make the pasta in-house. And I have a hard time finding a great tirimisu however this one is worth getting! Busy for a Tuesday and with only one waiter they were definitely understaffed but still a great meal!

Yelp
Intimate place, but they accommodated 7 of us on short notice. The food was great. The two waiters were very busy, but polite and friendly. The food was so good, we were wishing for bigger portions. Overall, we were glad we found this little neighborhood gem.

Yelp
Came with my boyfriend for a date night dinner! The food was wonderful (I got the gnocchi and stole some of his ravioli) and flavorful. A little out of the college student's budget to make this a weekly trip or anything like that, but prices definitely are comparable to other Italian restaurants in Boston. Like other reviewers, my only cautionary note would be how tiny the space is (side note: reserve in advance!) While certainly cozy and tastefully decorated, you can definitely hear other conversations and I didn't really feel like we had our own space at the restaurant.
