So... I literally just ordered from American Deli about an hour ago, and I am leaving this review due to the poor service. Although, our food was hot upon delivery, I was FLOORED to find out how rude the American Deli front counter cashier was being to my Door Dash Driver when he asked for status on the order. Also, I called this store about 20 times to emphasize that I requested Add Jalapenos on my chicken Philly and no ice in my drink. Not only did they not answer the phone, which is unprofessional in itself, but also they had an attitude, when my Door Dash Driver attempted to ask for any details on the order. I was on the phone with him, so I heard the person from American Deli being extremely aggressive and rude. I just want to say that it is fxckxd up that we, as black people, are constantly spending our money in our community to support these raggedy axx establishments, and I'm tired of the treatment we get in return when we are simply supporting local restaurants in the middle of a God dxmn pandemic. They claim they need our business to stay afloat, then when you give them some business they act a dxmn fool. Like seriously. I am unsure if this establishment is black owned, but it services the black community and employs a lot of minority and diverse employees, so I would appreciate it, if American Deli stop treating us patrons and delivery drivers like we are fxcking inconveniencing you, when we are the ones spending our God dxmn hard earned money to support your fxcking establishment. I am sure this restaurant will continue to thrive because the food is very tasty, but I beg you, if you're reading this to please put the pressure on these ppl to treat the customers and front line delivery drivers with some level of respect.
